i’m sorry as a woman im imagining what it was like for miranda to be completely shunted to the side by flint the moment they arrived in nassau, to go from being her husband and friend’s equal partner in their pursuits to some “fancy bit of puritan tail”. and of course flint says he doesn’t see her that way and of course she knows she’s not a fighter and can’t join him on the walrus but god, to be stuck in that goddamn house away from literally all the action. playing nurse to her new psuedo-husband when he comes home to her on death’s door. and for all flint’s insistence that “these men are dangerous, these men will kill you, you’re safer here while i go out and do all the dirty work”, well… in walks eleanor.

Local loser (I'm the loser) takes nearly 4 weeks to get a combat skill to 99, cheats by not training combat with it anyway.

Ice tears
When the pit rage got worse and Jason was barely able to think he decided to ask Constantine for help. Mainly because B hated when he asked Constantine for help and the wizard was nicer than he seemed at first glance.
Constantine strangely had the answer. It turns out that the Lazarus Pits had an history with something called "The Infinite Realms", and the water was the remains of one of the "Ancients" (Jason had no idea what that title meant) who died trying to stop the first King and bled in the confines of the world of the living.
As interesting as the story was, Jason had no idea how it helped with his problem, and he told the hellbazer so. John just rolled his eyes and gave a summary "You are possessed by the rage of that ghost, the only way to calm it down is to get the king's tears, the only thing he wanted, although that's a bit suicidal mate"
And well, now that he had forced Constantine to take him to the King (after making the portal, the British fled, coward) standing in front of the castle, Jason prepared his weapons, he probably should have thought it better since the king could be a powerful, interdimensional entity that could kill him with a snap of his fingers. But it was too late for that.
With a sigh he entered the throne room and saw a rather cute boy, with a crown and a dazzling smile, waving at him excitedly and asking a thousand questions a minute. Damn, was that the king? He was so friendly and— fuck, Jason had to make him cry, he was screwed.

TNG episode where the ship is taking a bunch of different doctors and scientists to an important medical conference and Worf ends up developing a crush on one of the Vulcan doctors and they get along really well. They both seem lonely and their interactions are sweet.
At the same time Worf is trying to beat an unknown opponent at a subspace strategy game which is circulating amongst all the security teams Starfleet-wide (Worf is very good at the game and so is equal parts frustrated and thrilled by this opponent's skill) and during one of their conversations/outings the Vulcan doctor points out a flaw in Worf's opponent's game which he never would have noticed on his own. This doesn't allow him to win necessarily but it does keep them from constantly stalemating one another.
The end of the episode has Worf nearly confess to the doctor as they finally reach the conference, but it turns out her husband is waiting for her. Her husband is Tuvok and he was ALSO the opponent which Worf was fighting tooth and nail (on two different fronts?). Tuvok and Worf are both shocked by this and suspicious of one another. Was Worf seducing his wife as a tactic? Was Tuvok using his wife to lower Worf's guard? Doctor T'Pel seems amused, undercutting the tension. Gentlemen, it's only a game. (Both men remember it is indeed only a game and appear sheepish) She wishes Worf well and then gets on the transport, informing the room that her stay on the Enterprise was indeed quite enjoyable. Tuvok & Worf agree to continue playing that game until there is a decisive winner.

Just putting this out there, i would absolutely be okay with paying to be a memeber of watchers youtube like i do with dropout, if it meant all their NEW content was now behind a paywall that allowed them to make bigger and better projects. Putting your entire content library behind a paywall on another site is just insulting to the fans that have supported the channel the last few years.
Youtube sucks and their monetization and predatory advertisers are awful and i respect any decision to get away from that, even if it means paid content. But this isnt it. My main complaint is how Watcher has only existed for 4 years, i truly do not think it's been around long enough to make this kind of move with stability.

thinking about how in the manga aiura says she also saw teruhashi when she asked her crystal ball to show her her soulmate and was scared to learn that teruhashi would be her rival for saiki's love like... What if she mixed saiki and teruhashi up and misinterpreted. wouldn't that be so tragic? aiura also mentions that she can't predict lottery numbers because the karmic balance will strike back twice as hard. what if that's her punishment for using her powers in a self-interested manner by trying to find her soulmate? doomed to a life where no matter how much she may yearn for kokomi, she will always deny herself because of her ultimate belief in the truth of her own predictions?
