It was one of those rare days when Ego allowed the team to use their phones instead of just training and sleep. (Y/n) was out with Anri to run some errands Ego came up with, much to their annoyance. The team wasn't really aware of the two being gone, as they were immersed in their phones. But it took only one post from a fan of theirs to set off a chain of chaos.

"Hey, (Y/n) isn't here today?" Isagi spoke up, showing Bachira and Gagamaru his phone. The two looked at it in confusion and soon after their expressions turned to one of realization, then they sighed.

"(Y/n) looks so cute~ Isagi, send me that picture!" Bachira commands as the boy sweat drops.

"You can find it on the internet yourself- Gagamaru you haven't blinked once since you started looking." The goalkeeper looked away from Isagi's phone and then at the boy, blinking a few times.

"I did." He simply answered, his face turning red as Bachira laughed and slapped his back.

"You are down bad, Gagamaru! Can't blame you though, (Y/n) is so cute and caring! Nobody could resist her!"

"True! She always does her best so that we are comfortable and can just focus on football." Isagi added with a dreamy sigh, getting nods from the other two.

"She also always pays attention to help us out with the parts we lack before Ego-san can scold us. That's really sweet of her." Gagamaru said nervously, his face turning red along with the other 2.

"Yeah." They sighed, but their moment of tranquility got interrupted as three of their other teammates entered the room, two looking confused and one pissed off. The former Team Z members raise their eyebrows at Rin as Chigiri and Rensuke sat down.

"What happened to you, Rin?" Bachira questioned as the taller huffed, sitting down between Rensuke and Isagi.

"Nothing. What are you two doing there?" The tale-eyed boy asked, his anger turning into confusion at their flustered faces. Isagi said nothing and showed Rin the phone, which still had the post of a fan on. It was a really simple picture of (Y/n) wearing the Blue Lock jacket and a mask, holding a box as Anri was in the background talking to someone. The caption was simple too, just a 'Happy to have gone outside today! Seeing (Y/n) is rare but so worth it!!'

Rin's face turned red and he let out a dreamy sigh, shocking Chigiri and Rensuke.

"What did you even show him? We have been trying to calm him down for the past 10 minutes." Chigiri asked as Rensuke leaned in to look at the phone. Chigiri looked on as his friend had the same reaction as Rin, just that it was way more obvious.

"Nothing much, a fan posted a picture of (Y/n) she seems to be out in the city right now." Gagamaru explained to the redhead, who took the phone from Isagi's hand.

"Hey!" The boy yelled as Chigiri ignored him while Bachira chuckled a little. The redhead blinked a few times as he went over the picture for a minute.

"Cute..." He muttered, grabbing the spot where his heart is dramatically. Isagi took the opportunity and took his phone from him, and then went to look at the picture again, meanwhile Rin and Bachira were leaning against his shoulders to look too.

"She looks so adorable~ Wish I was with her. I feel bad when she has to carry those boxes around." Chigiri pouted as Rensuke nodded in agreement.

"I never see her complain tho or even ask for help. Baro and I once wanted to help her but she just kept ignoring and asking us to go and rest."

"She is very considerate. We are very lucky Ego-san picked her as our manager." Rin added, causing the six to nod along.

"Guys! Did you see the pictures of (Y/n)?! The JFU updated some from today's conference!" Karasu yelled as him, Otoya, Baro and Hiori walked into the room. The others perked up as they looked at the boy.

"There are more?! Where?!"

"On JFU's official site. The pictures look glamorous, nothing out of the ordinary for her." Aryu said with a smile as he handed Chigiri his phone, prompting the others to huddle up next to him and look at them.

"So cute~"

"Look! She is waving too!"

"Wish there were more pictures without the mask."

"I couldn't imagine being an outsider and only seeing (Y/n) once in a blue moon."

"Must suck. Thank God I am not one of them."

"Want to repeat that?!" Isagi and Bachira replied as Otoya let out a laugh next to Baro.

"Let's not pretend like you didn't have the same, if not a worse reaction."

"Yeah, your face was as red as a tomato from that one picture where (Y/n) was smiling at the camera." Karasu added as Aryu and Chigiri snickered.

"Weak minded king." Rensuke taunted.

"Shut up! Aside from that one, I am the most calm and collected."

"Anyways, my favorite one is where she was nearly caught falling asleep. Chigiri scroll down, you guys won't be disappointed!" Otoya urged, just in time when Nagi, Reo and Kurona walked in.

"My favorite one was the one where she is talking to Teieri-san. It always looks nice when she is relaxed." Hiori admitted with a blush.

"What are we looking at?" Nagi raised an eyebrow, walking to where Isagi was.

"Yeah, you all are quite loud." Reo said.

"New pictures of (Y/n). The JFU posted them. She looks so cute too!" Aryu said while Reo and Kurona ran to where Chigiri was, hoping to catch some glimpse of the manager.

"What?! Let me see. I didn't se (Y/n) in so long."

"We literally sat last night at dinner with her." Nagi told Reo, who looked at him dumbfounded.

"So? Too long- Hey Chigiri, can you return to the previous picture?" Reo urged as the boy agreed, wondering where their phones were.

"Whatever, hope (Y/n) will be back soon. I want to show her a new trick I learned." Kurona muttered, trying to move Gagamaru's head out of his sight.

"The real her is better than any of the pictures. These just don't do her justice." Karasu added, prompting the rest to agree unanimously.

"Oh? Rin, you seem in a better mood too? What were you even mad over?" Kunigami suddenly asked the tale-eyed boy, who just shook his head, trying to enjoy (Y/n)'s pictures in peace.

"Nothing...I forgot about it."

An hour before...

Rin was in the main hall enjoying the silence as he went through his phone, just checking in to see what his favorite artists and footballers were posting, when a message from his brother popped up. Now, him and Sae were now on better terms than previously, but not so much better for the older to write him at random times of the day. Cautiously, Rin opened the message and boy did he wish he didn't.

Sae: Hey Rin, you are good friends with your manager, right?

Sae: Could you tell me if she has any social media?

Sae: Could you also give her my phone number. She isn't dating anyone, right?

Present time...

"Absolutely nothing, it was resolved, anyways." Rin said to his orange-haired teammate, knowing his brother is probably pissed that he had left him on read.

"Can I show you another picture of (Y/n) I found on my camera roll? I think it was from our U-20 match!" Reo suddenly said, catching everyone's attention now.

You never wanted Lando to race for points that badly in your life. Was he really feeling the same you thought? His quality hasn’t been so good yesterday. He finished P15 so he had to fight to come to P4. You wanted him to finish that high and he wanted to take you out properly. You listened to everything the commentator said. Lando was now at P8. Gasly was infront of him. “Will Lando get pass Gasly? And with DRS Lando Norris passes Piere Gasly. What a great race for the McLaren driver“ the one commentator said enthusiastic. „Yay Lando, he is surprisingly very determined to get some points and drive into the top 5. I wonder where this comes from?“ the other commentator responded. Just 6 more laps…will Lando manage to get to P4? But to your surprise Landos car got even faster and he even got passed George and Lewis. “Great Lando you doing amazing“ was what you heard from Landos radio. “Thanks guys the car is great and my motivation is even higher today. Lets keep pushing for P4“ was Landos respond. You smiled when you heard his voice. Moments later Lando was just one position away from P4. You prayed for a miracle that he will get passed Stroll. And then something strange happened. Aston Martin wanted Stroll to pit on the last two laps. That made Landos position clear. He was P4. “Yes baby I knew you could do it“ you screamed as you threw your fist in the air. Lando ended with that position. He could wait to call you and take the next plane to you. “I think your friend just texted you“ Landos media manager told him and gave him his phone. Without thinking Lando opened your chat. He saw your picture. You were in fact wearing his hoodie but he could also see that you weren’t wearing any sweatpants. Your legs were just being covered by his oversized hoodie. When he read your caption he smiled. “You little teaser“ he said to himself. After the dinner he had with Carlos he went straight to his hotel room. He unlooked his phone and went straight to the Facetime icon. He couldn’t just hear your voice, he had to see you. “Lando?“ a black screen and a sleepy voice accepted his call. “Fuck did I woke you up?“ he didn’t thought about your time change. “You kinda did but its ok now I’m awake anyway“ you said with a raspy voice. He loved your sleepy figure and voice. You turned your light in your bedroom on and looked at your phone. Lando looked tried. “You look like shit“ you said and laughed. “Well that’s nice. Thanks I thought you wanted to congratulate me but that’s also fine I guess“ he laughed. You stoped laughing and looked at you. Even tho he wasn’t with you this moment it still felt like he was sitting next to you. “So in that case…congratulation to P4 mister Norris“ your shyly voice made Lando grin. “Thanks I would love to talk longer to you but you should sleep and I should too.“ Your smile faded. “I guess you’re right. Hear from you soon?“ you asked sadly not wanting to end this call just now. You guys wished each other a good night and ended the call.

Lando was at the airport waiting with Carlos and Charles for their private yet. “Hey mate why are you so nervous?“ Charles asked. “Well I kinda have a date with Y/N when I get back to Monaco“ both Ferrari driver looked surprised at him. “Wait Y/N Y/N? Your best friend Y/N?“ Carlos asked “Pierres ex friends with benefit Y/N?“ Charles asked. Landos and Carlos eyes widened. “What?“ Lando asked. “Lando calm down I was just probably just a joke right…right Charles?“ Carlos said and prayed that Charles would get the hint. In that moment Pierre walked by. “You slept with my Y/N?“ Landos angry voice cracked. “Ok guys I thought we agreed not to tell him“ Pierre looked to the Ferrari driver. “Sorry mate it slipped out“ both said. Lando looked back. “Wait you both knew and didn’t told me? You knew how much I liked her and that for many years“ tears forming in his eyes. You meant the world for him. He didn’t really liked Pierre but he also didn’t dislike him. But he hated to fact that you were intimate with another driver and haven’t told him. It felt like every moment he thought you guys were crushing on each other was fake. “If it calms you down it was just for 3 months and she ended it“ Pierre said. Lando rushed to the bathroom he had to hear it from you. He wanted to call you but that would be childish. He knew what his first thing in Monaco was going to be. And boy he hoped that it was a bad joke.

Have Music, I’ll Travel: Graceland

Over the summer, not only did I discover that Austin Butler was my new boyfriend, but I saw the Elvis movie at least 10 times. The timeline of events was incredibly thought provoking. From his early childhood to his faith, family dynamics, and of course, his rise to fame would give viewers insight on who Elvis was. His impact in music and legacy would be remembered for years to come. As we know, Biopics never tell the full story, however, it allowed me to dig up every interview I could find to get clarity on things briefly displayed in the film. A vast majority of the people who were around in Elvis’ primal years are deceased, and since (his only known daughter) Lisa Marie was just a child when he died, the movie could be based on Priscilla Presley’s perception. Priscilla is the ex-wife of Elvis and mother to Lisa Marie.

I love stories I can learn from. As an entertainment blogger, Elvis’ story was so enlightening to me. While I didn’t grow up on his music, I’m aware of his hit songs. I’m familiar with his flamboyant style that shaped his artistry. There are only a few articles of clothing that’ll make one say, “It’s giving Elvis.”

Fast forward:

I became so engulfed in the Elvis story, for my birthday, I decided to pay a visit to the infamous Graceland in Memphis, TN. I’ve only been to this city once during a college tour, but I’m glad history and music brought me back to the Blues- filled town.

In the Elvis film, you see Graceland shown a lot as Elvis became a bigger star, he wanted a home his family could enjoy. He purchased this house based on his mothers wish for more privacy. At the time of purchasing, Elvis paid $100,000 in the 60s for a home that would be worth millions today.

The tour didn’t start at the home, in fact, there’s an entire “Elvis center” across the street that includes shops, restaurants, his showroom of cars, and a cinema that plays a short clip before you load onto the shuttles that transport you to the front door of the Graceland estate. Not to mention, the lowest ticket costs $77. The more expensive tickets granted more photo ops? I think?

Upon entering Graceland, the hosts inform you of house rules. Basically…. Take all the pictures you want, but no filming. #eyeroll Next to the door is a sign that states that Graceland is a National Historical Landmark as of 2006. This seems incredibly recent, and I wonder why it took so long to be documented as such.

As you enter the home, a lot of things are roped off. The living room, the stairs leading into Elvis’ room that apparently no one has permission to enter, ever. You have to wonder if the staff has seen it, tho. The tour felt like a maze because of the roping, and because of the limited accessibility to parts of the home and even the other parts of the estate-not really worth the $77, but I digress. You go in and out at the pace of others around you. With very little interaction, the tour lasted about an hour then, it was back to the “Elvis Center” to check out the cars and the private jet (which we didn’t see).

There’s a small gallery building on the estate that holds a lot of Elvis’ belongings and a timeline decorated on the walls. In the Elvis film, during the rolling credits, there’s very little mention of Elvis’ manager, Colonel (also played by Tom Hanks). In fact, they minimized his role and existence to merely nothing as it’s often stated that he is the reason for Elvis’s death (and drug abuse). His poor business decisions and his bad deals would not allow Elvis to become “bigger” than he was internationally-because he was stuck in Vegas with bad contracts made by the Colonel.

Back to the gallery:

As you walk around this place and see all the neat artifacts, you even see the paperwork and signature when Elvis purchased the Graceland estate. What stood out the most were the photos. All photos had small captions underneath to provide details of the event. There was one photo that did not have a caption, but I immediately knew that the photo included the Colonel. He doesn’t get any recognition, not even in a caption.

If you’re ever in Memphis, I’d highly recommend that you see this place. There’s plenty I’m leaving out, but you sorta have to see this for yourself. Hopefully, these clips allow you to become fascinated enough to take the trip!

With the most recent passing of Lisa Marie, my hope is that the estate remains in good hands as she was the sole heir of Graceland. It is reported that the estate will now run under the direction of her daughters.

You felt slightly hungry, and ripped open a bag of chips as you unlocked your phone. Scrolling on twitter, you see a post that catches your attention, captioned “Calling all Belift University Basketball Enthusiasts! We will be having a game tomorrow in the stadium. Drop by if you’re free!”

Basketball? Jake played basketball. Would he be there tomorrow? Keeping your hopes high, you shared the post with your roommates. They squealed with excitement, deciding to make a visit to the stadium tomorrow. 

You wondered if you could catch a glimpse of him playing. You smiled to yourself as you took out your schoolwork.

Around 10 pm you got a call from corpse and decided to head upstairs to get some peace and quiet from the loud music in your living room.

Answering the phone the conversation wasn’t anything special, corpse wishing you the fourth happy birthday for that day, as well as asking how everything was going. It was a normal conversation, that was, until his breath hitched and his voice started to quiver as he grew quiet, barely mumbling. Asking what was wrong, corpse went on a small tangent about how he wished he was more confident with his looks, how he wished it wasn’t scary showing his closest friends what he looked like etc. and how he wished he could be there at the party with everyone.

“Corpse I’ve told you 100 times. I understand your situation and it’s ok that you couldn’t show up. I don’t hold it against you, but I didn’t want you to feel left out :))”

“What would you say if I said I just pulled up in an Uber and I’m absolutely terrified of what’s gonna happen?”

Sneaking out of the back door as quickly as possible and running to the front lawn preparing herself. Corpse steps out of the car and You just jump in his arms. like full on koala grip on this man.

Holding his face and just showering him with compliments. Lots of reassurance and sweet nothings.

Heading to the back porch in order to allow him to calm down and prepare. The two end up sitting outside in the dark talking for like 30 minutes.

Finally working up the courage to head inside. You hold his hand the whole time and you see his hands start to shake.

Stepping into the living room, Jack noticing corpse was there, smiling but not saying anything after realizing he’s nervous. Meeting eveyone for the first time really being hard on him. No one else knowing what he looks like so no one really has a reaction

“Look who I found”

“Oh Y/N!! We were wondering where you ran off too. Who’s your friend?”

Corpse just hits them with a “uhh, hi 🤗”

Everyone freaking out as soon as they realize who it is and trying to talk to him.

Phones were put away for most of the night in fear of leaking anything.

You going the extra step to check everyone’s camera rolls (with consent of course) just incase and deleting any photo with any form of corpes face.

You check in on corpse before you head to bed, knowing today was a lot for him.

6 am rolls around and ms Y/N is up at the crack of dawn to do morning chores for the small farm.

Walking down the stairs, you see corpse on his phone in the dark sitting at her dining room table. Everyone was still asleep and it seemed like corpse hadn’t even slept a wink. You know, his insomnia and all.

“What are you doing awake? It’s only 6 am and you partied pretty hard last night?”

“Farm life doesn’t stop for a hangover, but I could ask you the same thing mister :) come on you can help me out”

Corpse is 100% not dressed to do anything outside, especially not any farm work.

Tells him to wait on the back porch while she gathers some stuff from the house. coming out with a messenger bag as well as a basket and a blanket.

Sets everything down and continues to feed the animals with corpse, asking him to grab the big bucket of feed. showing him the ropes, filling up everyone’s water dishes. Collecting eggs etc.

Corpse just watching you with a smile on his face. Your just talking to all your animals, yelling at fiesty hens for pecking at your legs and/or talking to Gerald the duck for getting in the way.

Corpse lowkey obsessed with dellie the cow. Pets her and coos for like 5 minutes straight.

When they finish the sun is barely rising everything still looks like a silhouette from far enough away. putting what needs to go inside away, and then grabbing the messenger bag off the porch.

Dragging corpse to the flower field just down the hill at the edge of the property.

Laying out the blanket and sitting just talking for hours.

You plays music from your phone through a small speaker, dancing around and twirling, lost in your own world.

Corpse’s Instagram story is just full of videos and pictures of you in the sunrise, small captions like happy birthweek to the most amazing person Ik. Or damn who knew farm girl had moves.

Literally 30+ story posts at 7 am.

Corpse takes a picture of you making a flower crown. Shadows cast across your skin, the small bit of sunrise light casting a soft golden glow. The field of flowers all around. Literally goddess worthy.

The day is filled with you cooking for him. Making fun of his foil troubles, watching movies, laughing and overall joking.

Spending the rest of the night cuddling together and making the most of the time you had together.

LOUIS!!!!!! I am posting this from beyond the dead because Louis’ trailer KILLED MY MIND! But THEN, it brought my body back to life because I HAVE to be around on Saturday to see this show go down. NEW LOUIS SONGS!!!! I AM NOT READY!!! First Eleanor kicked off promo for the livestream day by modeling Louis' purple Balenciaga windbreaker for us with a caption about her “BF”. I mean, it’s a look! No dogs today tho :(. Oddly though after posting herself in the outfit and saying that she was going to go out in the get up, she didn’t! Changed right back into her own clothes after all. Just like how Louis liking her post a few weeks ago was the first sign of action, this too was an indication NEW THINGS COMING! And boy, did they come! After Louis this posted his fifteen (15) second long clip, which included at least one full second each of an as of yet untitled song, KMM, Too Young, Walls, and a badass unidentified riff by Michael Blackwell (POP OFF, dude)! Louis was NOT done there though; fans were wondering what the unfamiliar songs in the trailer were. In what seemed to be a hint, Louis tweeted “copy of a copy of a copy”, which, when googled, turned up with two musical results. The only one that matters is the song ‘Copy of A..’ by Nine Inch Nails (“I am little pieces. Pieces that were picked up on the way, invented with a purpose, a purpose that's become quite clear today”). According to the band, this song is about breaking out of an image that no longer fits you: “How dare you have the audacity to not perform in the role you have been placed in”. Nine Inch Nails has also been really vocal about the importance of artistic freedom and the struggle to maintain it in the face of label interference, which I’m sure Louis can relate to. But! It turned out the untitled song that fans were wondering about isn’t ANY of these, it is, instead a “New song. Not a cover!” according to Louis himself! Let’s be clear: this does not mean that he WASN'T tweeting that lyric about doing a Nine Inch Nails cover, just that the snip in the teaser ISN’T ‘A Copy of A…’. Okay guys, I didn’t say this when the show came up, but now I will: I am IN LOVE with 12/12!! Last year, we got Fine Line on the 12th, and THIS year, we get BRAND! NEW! LOUIS! SONGS!!!!!!! And, for the TRUE piece de resistance: LOUIS’ HAIR! It is long long long, and slightly curly at the ends, and “HIS HAIR” (in all caps) was trending under “Beauty” immediately after the trailer was released. As it SHOULD! It’s BEAUTIFUL! And, in the middle of all of this, we got pictures of Louis from outside his rehearsal studio two weeks ago - OP said he said not to tell anyone about his hair, so they posted them the second after the trailer went up like “well if HE'S showing everyone..' They also scribbled out his hand. People asked does he have a new tattoo?? A ring?? Nope! It seems that he was probably holding a beer, which was edited out because yes certainly fans should jump in to take on the role of 1D management circa 2011 and preserve Louis' squeaky clean teen idol image! If Louis didn't want to be photographed with something he wouldn't come out to do fanservice holding it, give me a break, you really think he's sharing actual secrets with you? Grow up! Anyways, while on twitter Louis followed Isabella Signs, who he met through the charity work that she does for her younger brother. She has a YouTube channel by the same name and does A LOT of really cool SSE (Sign [language] Supported English) covers of all the boys plus 1D, check her out!

The Naughty List music video is OUT! It is a #quarantinevideo made with the green screen that Liam talked the other day about having had set up in his living room for days and how much he disliked that. It features Liam in a Snow Globe and Dixie and her friends dancing in a photobooth in colorful outfits (Liam in a red sequin vest with nothing underneath anyone?), pastel and glittery backgrounds, and lots of Christmas cheer! More than Liam had today, that’s for sure! Dixie loves Christmas, but Liam said that if it wasn’t for his son “pfft, Christmas can pass me by” in the joint live Liam/Dixie did to introduce the video. Steve the Manager (who made Liam’s naughty list for “making him work today”) spent most of the time feeding Liam questions for Dixie and trying to keep him on track. Liam and Dixie shared stories of Christmas presents (Dixie’s best Christmas was when she got a four wheeler), who made their Naughty List this year (Dixie: No one, Liam: “NIALLLL” - no he did not say why), and if they’d ever been kissed under the mistletoe (Dixie was when she was 12, Liam has not yet because he’s “a loonneeelyyyy boyyyy”, but then went on to say, “Mayaaaa you gotta kiss me under the mistletoe!!” so I guess that’s that).  Steve the Manager kept cutting Liam off before he could even TRY to do his Harry voice, so we didn’t get any of that, but we did get a nice solo Liam alarm to wake up to this morning, where he did a meditative bit and reminded people that it’s almost Friday!! And he's added some signed Naughty List single CDs to his store and merch! Really cute hoodies-- I'm not personally sure I want my chest to say Naughty List all over it but Liam can work it and it is a cute design. He also went on a radio show (not Roman’s) to promote Naughty List and revealed that he had NOT done any Christmas shopping yet, which IMMEDIATELY put him on their naughty list. Not to worry Liam, I think you’re still pretty nice!

And my favorite larrie is BACK: we got a sneak peek of Harry’s Jingle Ball set and, surprise, surprise, it’s the pre-recorded set with the Free Nationals! The description is, “Harry Styles and the Free National light up an LA backyard celebration with a hit-stacked set”. So, uh, I guess he’s not going to be playing in front of a blank wall - it’ll be a garden with a camper van, little blue flags, and fairy lights strung up. His shirt matches the small flags in being That Color Blue, and my one and only prediction for the set is that he’ll be covering Blue Christmas. I gotta say that I have NEVER seen anyone as dedicated to that - or ANY color - as Harry is. He still hasn’t popped up anywhere, but this is EXCITING! A new Fine Line set!!

Zayn made Martyre’s Instagram story again, and though you STILL can’t see his face, it’s his neck this time instead of his hands! I think that he’s meant to be modeling the necklace he’s got on, but the picture is too blurry for me to make it out. Alas. Anyways, I’d love to see some pictures of his FACE if Martyre has those? both of you had the day off today but tenya was out running errands. one of the items on his itinerary was to go to the supermarket and buy bread and vegetables, that’s all the business he had in regards to shopping. so the last thing you expected was to open your phone to reveal a new message for your husband; a picture of a navy baby romper with ‘fast’ printed on the front which looked like it had been taken in the infant clothing isle of the shop. along with a caption that made you shudder, ‘perhaps? for ours?’

honestly, you wanted more than anything than to reply with a solid ‘no.’  but you felt like you owed him an explanation so instead you hesitantly typed out, ‘we’ll talk about this when you’re back.’ which wasn’t exactly the response tenya was expecting to an innocent photo of a cute article of baby clothes, but he understood the implications and why you might want to talk about it further.

you felt guilty for some reason, as if you had been dishonest or had robbed your husband of a family life, despite the fact that before you got married, you never promised children to anyone. you thought you had made it abundantly clear that you were on the fence about the whole thing so why did you feel so bad about it now? perhaps it was just the nerves; it’s a big decision after all, so you were bound to feel guilty about it either way. 

“hello? are you alright? do you still want to talk?” tenya waved his hand in front of your eyes to snap you out of your thoughts. your glassy gaze met his, everything about his natural glow oozed reassurance; you still felt nervous but slightly less disheartened. 

you breathed out sharply through your nose, delivering the mellow introduction you had prepared beforehand to ease in the topic of kids, “on a scale of one to ten — ten being very much and one being not at all — how much do you want children?”

“um, five.” tenya hummed, not bothering to give a second thought to your inquiry as he replied concerningly quick. “how about you?”

“one.” you blurted out, not sparing a second because quite frankly, you wanted this conversation to be over as soon as possible, “actually, negative one.”

he couldn’t help but chuckle, gently taking your hand in his, “i’m guessing that is what you wanted to talk about?”

“yeah.” you muttered, unable to find the courage to look him in the eyes, hence your gaze darted across the room to find something besides him to focus on. tenya knew you too well for his own good; today you tried to be as monotone and reserved as possible yet he still managed to read you like an open book.

forcing down the lump in your throat, you continued, “i don’t want to have kids, ever. i just thought i should remind you.” the reason behind your word choice of ‘remind’ was that before you both got married, you had discussed the idea of having children and at the time you claimed to be natural towards the idea but you still emphasised the fact that in the future you might be completely opposed. 

the first time you told him, he responded with his usual bright grin, pulling you into his embrace and announcing “so be it, as long as i have you.” and that warm scene replayed in your mind as he did almost the exact same thing once again. except this time, his hand remained intertwined with yours and he added, “moving forward, i won’t ask again.” 

he was aware that his photo earlier may have come across as pushy but that truly wasn’t his intention and he hoped that the many kisses he planted upon your head would show that, “children or not, so long as i’m with you, i can die happy.”

his eyes widened immediately after he spoke, followed by his hand retracting from your waist to rub the back of his neck, “i may sound like a sap but it’s true. i adore you.”

This was not, at all, how he had envisioned his daughter’s first halloween. Sure, he knew deep down that it wouldn’t be exactly like he’d always pictured it in his head. But this? He never would have imagined that at 4 pm on halloween he would be standing by the kitchen counter trying to fight back tears with Ethan leaned up against him in a show of support.

“She’s not even going to remember it. It’s okay.”

“Every kid has pictures of their first halloween, and we had this whole thing planned and now... it’s a three part costume and she’s just fucking gone. What the fuck am I supposed to do?”

He ran his hand over the top of Raleigh’s hair to calm himself down, tucking his chin so he could kiss the top of her head as she sat in the little carrier he was wearing.

The costume had been her idea after all - Jessica’s. Raleigh’s mother. They’d been planning since the beginning of the month to go as the sun (Grayson), a rain cloud (Jess) and a little rainbow (Raleigh). 

But it’s a little hard to pull off a trio costume when one party decides to leave the family and never come back. And in the midst of a custody battle, Grayson hadn’t thought of the fact that he needed to make a new costume for his daughter until it was far too late. 

“Okay. I can find something, we can make it work. We got this, just... here, c’mon.”

Ethan practically dragged his brother into the nursery, pausing for a moment.

“I need purple pants, a pink shirt and white shoes.”

Grayson went along with it, opening familiar drawers and pulling out a few options of different things. His daughter didn’t own a lot of pink, but he managed to find everything his twin had asked for, down to the white converse that were still a bit too big for her. 

“Okay, put her in that, and I’ll be back in 10, I gotta run to my place.” 

In all their years together, Grayson had just learned that sometimes, it was better to let Ethan do whatever he wanted to. So, he did as he asked, unhooking the carrier and gently guiding Raleigh’s little legs out. 

She was a happy baby - laid back since the first day of her almost 7 months on earth, and today was no different. Though, Grayson liked to think that she knew how he was feeling sometimes. 

It made him feel less alone in the world.

“You excited for Halloween bubs? Hmmm? Looks like we might get to go trick or treating after all, even though daddy sucks, uncle E might just save the day. Let’s get you changed, yeah? Yeah?” 

And the way she smiled up at him made him feel like he was right - because it was one of the few sights that could brighten his mood no matter what. He changed her diaper and got her dressed quickly, thankful that the abnormally warm new jersey temperatures meant she could still wear a short sleeve onesie. 

He was just starting to piece it together when Ethan made it back, a wad of blue and purple fluff in his arms. 

“I know you don’t like reusing costumes, but I think it’s warranted this year, yeah?”

“Yeah.” His brother’s thoughtfulness almost made him cry again - he hated feeling so out of control of his emotions, but Ethan had been so supportive since Jess had left, and he had the sudden realization that he didn’t thank him enough for it. 

He pulled the Sully costume on quickly, opting out of the shoe covers for practical reasons, scooping up Raleigh and carrying her into the bathroom to look in the mirror. 

Even he had to admit, they were adorable. Raleigh grabbed onto a tuft of the blue fluff and giggled up at her dad. 

“Okay, c’mon, c’mon we’ve gotta get some pictures before it gets too dark out!”

Grayson obliged, spirits a bit lifted as he carried her on his hip out to the backyard. Ethan directed them through an obscene amount of photos, a few of him holding her in front of him with her legs dangling, even a few with her on his shoulders. No one could make Raleigh laugh like Ethan could, and even without looking Grayson knew the pictures would be adorable. He made a note to actually get them printed and put into her baby album. 

And so, last minute halloween was a success thanks to uncle Ethan’s determination to make it so. The new, or original per say, trio made their rounds in the neighborhood, graciously accepting the compliments on their costumes. 

Grayson found a kid who was trailing behind his friend group on the sidewalk to give away the non-vegan candy to, wishing him a happy halloween as they headed back home at dusk. 

Raleigh seemed too cozy against the warm fur for him to think about taking it off, and he rocked her to sleep in her rocking chair as Sully minus the paws, running his finger over her nose to get her to close her eyes and give in for the night.

Once she was down he headed back into the kitchen, sitting down to see all the photos that Ethan had airdropped to him. He couldn’t keep a smile off his face as he picked out his favorites, most of them being captures of an adorable laugh from his baby girl. 

He selected the ones he wanted, a few of just her sitting in the grass and a few more of the two of them together, putting them up on instagram and typing a quick caption.

Got upgraded to sully this year with the cutest boo that ever was. Promise to take better care of you than the real sully did tho. Forever us two baby girl, can’t wait to see what costume you pick next year!

Seriously guys this is my favourite Final and First eps of a season. 

100% one of my favourite two parters, if not my all time favourite two parter

Great direction, good story, excellent bad guys, good acting, just enough suspense with out being too drawn out, something for everyone, comes of the back of a fun as fuck episode (1969), Hammond has a big part, Davis is there, lots of cute Sam/Jack and of course, Daniel’s Elf Hair. 

Also the Tok’ra are actually useful in this one which is SHOCKING

Page Six reports:

Said a spy, “Chef Will Savarese prepared the meal with extra attention to make sure that everything was perfect for the notoriously finicky pop star, who performed her Christmas show at the Hard Rock where the top-tier restaurant is located.”

According to a receipt, the order included lobster tail, strip steak, roast chicken, salmon, crab cakes, pasta dishes, salads and spinach.

But a source said some servers rolled their eyes when the staffer handed over $500 in cash for the meal totaling $493.67 — but took back the $6.33 in change and didn’t leave a tip.
