Do you know who you are? Honestly? Would you like to find out right now? Here’s a very basic exercise that might help you get started: Whenever you can, try to look at your thoughts. This is a little different from what we usually do — which is simply think, think and think — because this will help you see when certain thoughts arise, what causes them to pop up at certain times and events, and understand patterns that you may have earlier looked over. You don’t have to do anything else at this point, simply looking at them is enough. When you begin to really notice your thoughts and your thought process, you can start trying to understand them a little better because understanding your thoughts is the best way to understanding yourself. A lot of people find that writing it down helps clear that mental fog. It does not have to be in a cheesy journal or a notebook; it can also be as a note on your phone or a piece of paper. The purpose is to spill everything out, make better sense of the information you already have and help yourself see connections. Anything that will help you do that is okay, maybe even simply talking to yourself. Try doing that every now and then, so you are not attached to a certain idea or assessment of yourself. Being aware of what you think about, why you feel a certain way, why you make decisions the way you do, what drives you in life, and what it is that you are trying to really achieve — all of these are individual crucial building blocks that will help you see who you are as a whole. I wish you a nice meeting with yourself 😉 #begoodtoyourself #knowyourself #beyourself #selfcare #selflove #quotes #memes #exercise #beautifulburnout #gedankenbubbles #marionjunelenz #loveit #changeit #leaveit #deepbreathing #yesyoucan #whoareyou #whoami #findout #letsgo #aromatherapy #clarity #youngliving #brainpower #watchmystories https://www.instagram.com/p/CG4o-13i3sv/?igshid=wvfzwsb5l7ql

Bored? Chances are you just grabbed your phone and checked out social media before clicking this message. Before the days of social media and 10-second cat videos, though, procrastination often came in the form of a pencil and doodling in a notebook. For all the glorious distraction that technology brings to our lives, it may be time to put away the electronic devices and reach for our sketchbooks next time we’re bored. This is because recent research has shown that doodling can actually be good for our attention. Participants in a 2009 investigation listened to a ‘monotonous mock telephone message’. Half of the group doodled as they listened and the other half didn’t. Their memories were then tested after the call. The group that doodled surprisingly recalled 29% more information. Doodling, unsurprisingly, may relieve psychological distress. One of the benefits of doodling is that it can relieve stress, which itself impairs our ability to pay attention and to focus on the task at hand. Going even further down the rabbit hole, our improvised, unplanned sketches may also provide a window into our subconscious. Dr. Robert Burns, a former director of the Institute for Human Development at the University of Seattle, believes that doodles can be used to diagnose a patient’s emotional problems. So, far from being the artistic equivalent of an incoherent ramble, a doodle may serve as a very useful therapeutic tool. According to Burns, ‘even at their simplest, the idle jottings we repeat in the margins of our notebooks can evoke childhood memories and associations that provide clues even to our obsessions.’ The Oxford dictionary defines a doodle as something that was scribbled absent-mindedly. While it’s true that your mind may not be fully engaged on what you’re jotting down on that notebook, it’s become clear that so much more is going on beneath the surface. So next time you’re boredom tempts you to scroll through cat pics, try doodling those cats instead. #advertising #beautifulburnout #gedankenbubbles #marionjunelenz #christmascountdown #christmasmood #quotes #memes #christmassprit #christmasfeeling #christmascalendar #tipsandtricks https://www.instagram.com/p/CIU5jizAGBg/?igshid=hnav9ij5hgf4

Paint and put your frustration on paper Painting contributes significantly to relaxation, because the painter immerses himself, so to speak, into a very special world to which only he has access. But you can also let off frustration and steam while painting. There are templates on the net, I'll put a few in the story afterwards. There are apps in which you can just color pictures. I've always liked and wanted to be a graphic designer in the past. Well I do anyway 😄 Especially like in seminars or in telephone coaching while listening or telling stories. But show them only very rarely. It doesn't matter how others think of you either. Painting has always given me a piece of inner peace. Others like to do handicrafts or knitting or whatever. I do that, but I prefer to paint or draw 🥰 And you? #adventcalender #christmasspirit #beautifulburnout #gedankenbubbles #marionjunelenz #takeaway #motivation #mentalhealth #stressless #tryagainandagain #mindfulness #quotes #memes #openthedoor #letgooff #christmasmood https://www.instagram.com/p/CISGhZAgAoC/?igshid=g4adgnvjcnak

Hope is a confident inner alignment paired with a positive expectation that something desirable will occur without any real certainty about it. It can be a specific event, but it can also be a fundamental condition such as ongoing health or financial security. Hope is the comprehensive, emotional and, under certain circumstances, action-guiding human orientation towards the future. Hoping, man is optimistic about the temporality of his existence. Hope can be accompanied by fear and worry that the desired will not happen. Its opposite is despair, hopelessness, resignation or depression. Hope is also one of the three Christian virtues: faith, love and hope. Hopeful people focus more on their goal. They are less likely to become discouraged and look for alternative paths when they encounter obstacles. Hopeless people, on the other hand, tend to get caught up in goal-inhibiting thoughts, find it difficult to generate new solutions, and accordingly give up more quickly. Active hope protects against a loss of motivation by distancing oneself emotionally from negative expectations. It favors the readiness to look for information that is relevant to the hoped-for event - even if the usual ways are blocked. Passive hope can affect motivation and lead to inactive waiting. Possible causes for this are: (a) the belief that the achievement of the goal is completely beyond one's own control or (b) an illusionary thinking that is solely aimed at the desired result and completely ignores possible means of achieving it. OK, so let's have hope again 😉 all together 🤗 Yesterday was the best day to see that it's good to hope. 🙏🏽 A-M-E-N 😄 #quotes #memes #definition #hope #beautifulburnout #gedankenbubbles #marionjunelenz #letshopetogether #littlehopi #hopeland #allwillbebetter #letusgoforit #inyourway #goodluck #bepatient #youaregoodenough #imademyvisionboard #2021 #whataboutyou #womanpower #frauenpower #menpower #worldpower #childrenpower https://www.instagram.com/p/CHU3cRalGPz/?igshid=1akl0lohszvk3

Some Facts: 1. Smile makes you happy immediately. Try 😄 2. Smiling creates jealousy 😉 3. Smiling extends life. Try 😜 4. Smiling predicts the length of the marriage 😁 5. Smile is contagious 🙂 6. Smile comforts 🤗 7. But be careful ☝🏾 A constant smile makes you sick: Those who have to smile constantly at work are not to be envied. Mainly because such jobs are psychologically endangered. In surveys and experiments it was found that those who constantly smile were particularly at risk of burnout and were prone to depression. Stewardesses, salespeople and call center employees were particularly hard hit. It's just about smiling a lot more often again 😉 you don't need to smile for no reason. 8. The eye area reveals a real smile 😘 A real smile doesn't make you sick, it is healthy and makes you attractive. “A simple smile. Turn your chores into a meditation Mindfulness is more than just noticing things — you learn to enjoy what you are doing. We all hate chores. However, the more we avoid doing something, the more burdensome that task becomes. Choose a chore that you want to master or one that you usually do but dislike. Prepare by setting-up the scenario — remove distractions or things that might get in the way. Focus on the activity. Let’s say you want to clean the bathroom/kitchen. Start by visualizing the outcome. How would you like the bathroom/kitchen to look like? How will you feel once you’ve accomplished the task? Start doing the chore. Pay attention to every detail. Observe your movements. How can you improve your craft? Experiment with alternative ways. Which one works better? How do you feel when you improvise instead of repeating the same movement over and over? Keep the end-result present. You are not just doing something. You want to become the best bathroom/kitchen cleaner ever. Once you are finished, take some time to appreciate the outcome. You can practice this with the same chore next time or with a different one. 😉 Have a nice day! #quotes #memes #beautifulburnout #gedankenbubbles #marionjunelenz #selflove #selfcare #immunesystem #saturdaymood #chores #tips #helpyourself #try #selfmotivation #letsgo #selfmanagement #youcan #delegate #manage #yourlife #coaching #loveit #doit #changeit #easier #leaveit #hiresome https://www.instagram.com/p/CG_9LLGgMv_/?igshid=8mo9kk9xrbm
