Número de representantes na lista anual da Forbes cai de 62 em 2022 para 51 em 2023. Fortuna conjunta, ainda assim, aumentou para US$ 160 bilhões

A revista americana Forbes divulgou nesta terça-feira (4) sua relação anual de bilionários ao redor do mundo. O número de representantes brasileiros na lista caiu de 62 em 2022 para 51 em 2023.

Apesar da queda, a fortuna concentrada entre os mais ricos do país aumentou. Em 2022, os 62 bilionários brasileiros tinham patrimônio conjunto de US$ 125 bilhões; em 2023, os 51 representantes do país detém US$ 160,4 bilhões.

O posto de maior patrimônio do país também mudou de mãos nesse intervalo. Em 2022, a pessoa mais rica do Brasil era Jorge Paulo Lemann, sócio do fundo de investimentos 3G Capital, pelo qual administra enormes multinacionais, como Ambev (controlada pela AB InBev), Burger King e Kraft Heinz.

Em 2023, Lemann foi para o segundo lugar, enquanto o topo da lista passou a ser ocupado por Vicky Safra e sua família, viúva e herdeiros do banqueiro Joseph Safra, morto em 2020. O top 5 é completado por Marcel Herrmann Telles (3°) e Carlos Alberto Sicupira (5°), sócios de Lemann; e por Eduardo Saverin (4°), cofundador do Facebook, junto com o americano Mark Zuckerberg.

No mundo, o número de bilionários também caiu, de 2.668 para 2.640. Veja quem ocupa o top 10 e de onde vem a maior parte do patrimônio:

Ao todo, só 13% das pessoas que entraram na lista são mulheres.

I love how in the book the Accidental Billionaires which The Social Network is based on has such funny back and forth on character assassination. Like movie Mark forgets Eduardo at the airport and also is near virginal after the fling with Alice. But in the book Mark does pick him up but they left out the part where he cheats on Priscilla with a Victoria Secret model like we shall not do a scene in the movie where Mark cheats but we will do one where he's a shitty friend who forgets Eduardo at the airport.
