Boy, do we need this eclipse!
Whereas Total Solar Eclipse 2017 was a nice little natural phenomenon, Total Solar Eclipse 2024 is a three-ring circus, but in a good way.
Retail marketers have been quick to notice how badly Earth's citizens want a diversion - a chance to look beyond our troubled planet, to the heavens. And if the celebration includes "Total Solar Eclipse" donuts. Sun Chips, Moon Pies ... well, ain't that America.
The fact is. we're looking for something to be awed by, something that allows us to look away - at least for a few minutes - from Gaza, Ukraine, climate catastrophes, immigration, famine, Putin, Trump, etc. etc., etc.
Drama in the sky is exactly what we need.

I know you did chapter one of paradise and it is amazing, absolutely adorable
But i was curious
Is there going to be more?
No pressure or rush but I was wondering because the Ao3 description leaves room for more, but chapter count is 1/1
HELLO i'm still alive i promise omg
and no worries!!! Purgatory Paradise is actually a series rather than a single fic, since i have have a collection of one-shots rattling in my brain that will most likely be written in random order. But right now it only has two-- "Paradise" and "Ice Cream Pizza Rolls Cookie Dough Potato Chips Candy Bars… and Mandarin Oranges"
i really hope to bust out a few more in the future! though right now i'm taking it a bit easy after finishing TNV-- but don't worry, I still have a lot of fluff i want to write for Leo 🩵

How do the people working in marketing know how effective their marketing is?
There's a whole field called Marketing Analytics that is dedicated to quantifying the results and context of marketing efforts. It is rare for companies to spend a large amount of money (e.g. on marketing budgets) without some means of measuring what they get from spending it. This measurement generally includes things like impressions, click-through rates, time spent engaging with the content, google searches for the marketed material, visits to the websites, view counts, average and median watch time, and so on. There are a lot of key performance indicators that analysts will track in order to measure how effective a specific marketing tactic is, and those performance indicators get compared to the cost of the marketing tactic to determine overall cost efficiency.

I wanted to continue my previous poll ('What Is Your Biggest Issue Right Now?' This is for Employment, but I have separate polls for mental health and budgeting/finances. For 'other', comment below. I love hearing your input! :)
In my previous poll, I selected Employment and, out of the answers I have in this poll, interviewing is my main roadblock. It seems employers will hire people they like over competency these days and I'm not sure how to make them like me enough to hire me (if that makes sense. I can explain how I can do the job and I'm nice and professional, but I can never figure out what personality or things I should say to get them to like me).
For the budgeting/finances poll, click here.
For the mental health poll, click here.

I actually really love how megaton looks. Like in comparison, diamond city feels really barren and devoid of character to me, but megaton feels sooo much like a real city. Seeing the creative ways people make use of limited space, and how the city feels so organically built. Diamond City feels so lacking in comparison and like. I guess i get why with engine limitations and all, but it just feels like there was so much more that could have been done. Idk. Megaton just feels like a really good example of fun city planning.

Word's out! I'm enrolling in a specific paid UX/UI design traineeship given in Rotterdam with ties to the international market. Will probably relocate to Rotterdam/The Hague by the end of the year. Hitting a career ceiling in regards to international ambitions, and I decided I cannot continue riding the wave on which I find myself now. I am unplugging the blockage, and it feels like a weight off my shoulders.
The communications field to me is too broad, too unspecific, limited global growth opportunities (unless you are part of some royal network) and too biased/discriminatory/prejudiced. From my experience, much of it revolves around who you are as a person (Dutch employers love 'em happy-go-lucky, blonde, giggly marketing 21 y.o. girlies, and hey that's just not me), instead of the quality of work you deliver.
I am not abandoning communications completely. I just find myself facing closed door after closed door. So for now, let me craft some lush stuff, become great at what I do, and live in international-minded vibrant cities :)
