Loosing a baby in any way isn’t easy on anyone. It’s the saddest thing that can happen to anyone. That’s what happened to you and Tommy a couple weeks ago. Everything was fine until the 12th week of your pregnancy. Something didn’t feel right so you went to the doctor and the doctor told you and Tommy that there was no longer a heartbeat.

Now, you’ve just been laying in bed all day. That’s what you’ve been doing for the past couple of weeks. The only time you get out of bed is to go to the bathroom and to take a shower. Tommy has been taking care of you in every way he can think of.

“How about you get out of bed, hmm? We can go outside and hangout by the pool.” Tommy suggests softly while rubbing your back.

“I don’t want to do that.” You say.

“We can take a walk and get some fresh air.” He suggests.

“No.” You mumbled.

“What do you want to do?” He asks.

“I want to stay in bed.” You say.

“I understand that, baby, but you need to get out of bed some time.” He says.

“Can you just leave me alone please?” You asked.

Tommy sighs softly and left the bedroom. He didn’t want to leave you all alone during a difficult time like this. He understands that you want time to yourself. So he went downstairs and sat on the couch. He grabbed a magazine that’s on the coffee table and started flipping through it.

A little bit later, you felt lonely and wanted to be cuddled by your husband. You threw the blankets off your body and went downstairs to the living room to find Tommy flipping through a magazine on the couch.

“Tommy?” You say quietly.

“What’s up, babe?” Tommy asks, tossing the magazine on the coffee table.

“I want cuddles.” You tell him.

“I can do that.” He smiles.

Tommy stood up from the couch and went upstairs with you. You guys got under the blankets and he wrapped his arms around you, holding you close to him. You guys laid there in silence.

“What did I do wrong?” You asked after a few minutes. “I thought did everything right, but apparently, I did something wrong.” You say.

“You didn’t do anything wrong, baby. It’s something that just happened.” Tommy says, almost in a whisper.

“Why did it happen to me- to us?” You asked.

“I wish I knew the answer to that, baby girl.” He whispers.

“I was supposed to protect our baby as he or she was growing in my belly, but I didn’t protect him or her hard enough.” You say, your voice cracking.

“You did protect our baby.” He whispers.

You broke down in tears in your husband’s arms. Tommy hates seeing you like this. He wishes that there was more for him to do for you, but for now, all he can do for you is hold you while you cry.

“It’s going to be ok, baby.” Tommy says softly.

“Nothing about this is ok, Tommy!” You raised your voice. “We should be setting up the nursery for our baby, but that’s never going to happen now.” You say.

“Yes it will. Just give it time and we can try for another baby if you want.” He says.

You frowned and rolled over onto your back, looking at your husband.

“What’s that supposed to mean, Tommy?” You asked.

“I didn’t mean for it to upset you, baby. I’m just saying, only if you want to.” He says.

“Did you already forget about our baby?” You asked.

“No!” He exclaims softly. “I will never forget about our baby.” He almost whispers, putting his hand on your stomach.

“It seems like you already have.” You say.

You took his hand off your stomach and got out of bed. Tommy sat up on his elbows as he watched you walk out of the bedroom. He sighs and falls back on the bed, running his fingers through his hair. He didn’t mean to upset you by saying that. What he meant was that you and him could try for another baby whenever you’re ready, only if you want to.

You went down the hall to the bedroom that was supposed to be the nursery for yours and Tommy’s baby. You slowly walked in the room, looking around it. Your eyes landed on the rocking chair that’s by the window. It’s one of the first things you bought when you found out you were pregnant. You and Tommy agreed that it would be perfect by the window. You walked over to it and sat down. You pulled your legs up to your chest and looked out of the window.

Tears filled your eyes and sobs left your lips. Tommy heard the sound of your sobs all the way in yours and his bedroom. It broke his heart to hear you crying. He got out of bed and followed the sound of your sobs, leading him to the nursery. He walked over to you and picked you up out of the rocking chair. He sat down on the rocking chair and held you in his lap, gently rocking the chair.

“I’m sorry I got upset with you.” You apologized.

“You don’t need to apologize. I understand, baby.” Tommy almost whispers.

“I hate feeling like this.” You say.

“I do too.” He says.

Tommy rubbed your back with one hand while the other one held your hand, his thumb gently rubbing your wedding ring.

“I shouldn’t have said that earlier. It’s too soon to be thinking about another baby when we’re grieving over this baby.” Tommy says softly.

“In a way you’re right, we could have another baby if we want to, but not right now.” You say.

Tommy nods in agreement.

“Is there anything I can do for you right now?” He asks softly.

“Just hold me.” You say.

“I can do that.” He smiles.

Tommy stood up from the rocking chair with you in his arms and carried you to yours and his bedroom. He gently laid you down on the bed and laid down next to you. You moved yourself closer to him and laid your head on his chest. Tommy wrapped his arms around you, one of his hands softly and gently rubbing your back.

“I love you.” You say softly, moving your head so you’re looking up at him.

“I love you too, baby.” Tommy almost whispers, kissing your lips softly.

Here's the bot some of you have been impatiently waiting for, I really hope it'll not get deleted, I tried hard not to use any trigger words. I made a little blurb (inspired by @fallingwillow), there'll only be one for this bot, but I kinda like it.

She thought she could sneak past him — heels in hand, breath hitched, already imagining the bass of the music pounding through her veins.

But he caught her.

Fingers circling her wrist like velvet shackles, voice low, dangerous, amused.

so this isn’t really a blurb, it’s the original opener for the bot which eventually i just shortened down a lot as i didn’t really want to take detail out from other parts💓

We met four years ago. We started to spend every day together four years ago. I fell in love with you four years ago.

I remember the exact moment it all began, like it’s seared into my brain forever and I see it when I sleep at night.

It was one of those days that felt like the beginning of something, even before anything had actually happened. The air backstage buzzed with nerves, hope and way too much hairspray.
