@masteredlegacy asked “I also didn’t go to bed last night.” ( johanne )
schitt’s creek sentence starters
Clouded blues glanced towards the man that joined her up the rooftop, hands pressed onto the cold cement she sat on by either side of her. Sunrise was her favorite time of the day, where the chill of the morning coexists with the sun just before its warmth engulfs it fully. The soft sunrays ease the dark hues underneath her eyes, not that she did anything to hide them in the first place.

“That isn’t good for your health.” Johanne knew how hypocritical that sounded coming from her, “Is it a matter of you didn’t or couldn’t?”

And that's how you go, Skull. Not stabbing into the heart of your great and powerful enemy. But a sick, tired, pitiful old man. Breathing your last on the floor in the arms of the only man who can be driven to give a single shit about you.

I think it's a stupid decision to completely forget Kang and replace him with Doctor Doom
Doom is a major threat yes but imo he is a significantly lesser threat compared to Thanos and Kang
Why couldn't they just recast Kang? They did it with Bruce, they did it with Rhodey, they did it with Red Skull hell they recasted Cassie in Quantumania
So why not recast Kang? There's plenty of black male actors who can play him far better than JM did like Denzel Washington
Do you know how awesome it would've been to see Denzel as Kang?
They could've recasted Kang it's not a situation like Chadwick Bozeman and Black Panther but it's obvious that even that doesn't really matter because William Hurt has been dead for two years and they replaced him with Harrison Ford
Now you're probably thinking "Well, wouldn't it be weird if Kang suddenly looked different from the last time we saw him?" Not really nobody questioned how Bruce changed between The Incredible Hulk to The Avengers or how Rhodey changed between Iron Man 1 to Iron Man 2 or how Cassie changed between Endgame to Quantumania and nobody is gonna question how Ross changed from Civil War to Brave New World
Not to mention by retconning Kang they basically made Loki and Quantumania redundant
Literally if Quantumania and Loki were there to set up Kang as the next big bad and now they're not even using Kang anymore then Quantumania and Loki were just a waste of everyone's time

Captain America #263 (DeMatteis/Zeck, Nov 1981). Marvel has such a peculiar relationship with movie studios. They were trying to get features of their characters produced for decades before Blade, and yet their comics repeatedly depict the studios as dangerous traps commandeered by villains.

@masteredlegacy asked 4. for one muse to push the other out of harm’s way ( johanne )
protective prompts
She hadn’t expected her San Francisco trip to turn out this way. Since New York seemed to be  the epicenter of danger and a beacon to near world-ending events, it was unusual to think of other places as dangerous at this point. A mistake on her part, she really should’ve known better as a former mercenary that there were other types of dangerous besides alien invasions.
Johanne barely caught her footing when she was pushed off the side as a rope dart embedded itself to the wall behind her. Storm blues had seen the blade at the end of it coming and she was about to dodge until a firm pair of hands interrupted her thoughts. The force of that combined with the tenseness of her body made her meet the glass door nearby face first, nearly cracking her nose.

It was hard not to glare at that point, even with a group of people with weapons close by.

A little detail in 1x08 ‘Valediction’ that has been driving me BONKERS! The movie that Dottie Underwood releases the Midnight Oil into is actually ‘The F Stands for Freedom’, also known as Whitney Frost’s most notable work!!
It’s a little note that has made me seriously rethink my interpretation of when Dottie says “doesn’t sound like my kind of picture” in 2x06 ‘Life of the Party’. I’ve always assumed it’s a little glib remark about Dottie being a Soviet, but it’s always seemed a little on the nose considering her previous ambivalence to ideological conflict (she tends to act more as an agent of chaos, a weapon to be inflicted upon an enemy). Now, I can’t help but wonder if there is a little more to that comment — if, perhaps, she bristles at the memory of being under Fennhoff’s thumb.
