N7 Month 2022 - Day 16: Thief

I miss Mass effect 2 companions. Especially Kasumi Goto, I love her thats my bestie.

She showed up for a mission in me3 and I was so happy to see her, I hope she pops up again.

The team ups of me2 are far superior than me3.

I always chose;

Grunt and Garrus my son and husband

Garrus and Tali og buddies

Tali and Kasumi just the best girls <3

Then when I got Legion and Thane

I paired Tali with Legion these two were actually my main squad mates for the final collector base mission (their abilities were just too good)

Thane with Garrus hot sniper bros

Also Samara and Thane cause I thought they’d be friends

I wish I utilized some of the other companions more but thats was a second play through is for.

Also I hope as I play through me3 I get more companions. Just having Garrus, Liara, Kaiden, James and Edi isn’t enough i want my krogan boys back

I feel like Kasumi would have been such a good choice for Samara's loyalty mission.

Like logically i get that videogames can't be real-life level realistic, and stuff takes time and resources etc., and it's more interesting to play through something yourself instead of giving it to an NPC, so i'm not upset about it, it's more of a 'it would have been even cooler if' thing.

Cause, Mass Effect 2 spoilers coming, Morinth is attraced to artists, people who are brave, who don't start fights just because, who are isolated from their peers...

And then you have Kasumi, who collects books and paintings and can name every single object in the RichGuy ForgotHisName's gallery, who infiltrates a whole villain's lair to get the greybox, who never leaves her room and doesn't even have an interactive dialogue with Shepard but is still kind and friendly

I think Morinth would fall head over heels for Kasumi if she ever met her, and, maybe she would fall for Shepard too, depending on how the player roleplays or headcanons them, but since the first time I played ME2 i really wanted to go back to the ship and be like 'Hey, Kasumi, do you feel like tricking a dangerous serial killer to fall for you cause you are exactly her type'
