Today, I was riding in a car when I saw a flatbed pickup truck pulling a trailer. In the bed of the truck were several bushes. I thought that was a little weird, but I didn't think anything of it. i've been dying for a poll option ever since i saw my followers' answers to that text post from february 2022 asking people whether they pronounce beloved as "be-lov-ed" or "be-loved". many people were emphatic about only using one option, and many others use both but were not always able to articulate when they use 2 syllables vs. 3. so out of the goodness of my heart and my insatiable lust for knowledge i have gone through the notes on that post and written down some likely contenders! you're welcome!!!!

BEFORE YOU ANSWER! think about how you would pronounce beloved in the following syntactic contexts:

noun, talking directly to the beloved: hey there beloved

noun, talking about rather than to the beloved: my beloved lives in a pineapple under the sea

adjective in a noun phrase: my beloved x lives in a pineapple under the sea

verb participle: x is beloved by y

Okay so I have absolutely no idea whether I should make one of the chapters a songfic or not cuz like- a part of me is screaming that I should since the Hazbin franchise loves musical numbers but at the same time it'll be so cheesy I'm literally gonna melt- Song in Question is this: "Just A Kiss" by Lady Antebellum I heard it when I went shopping earlier and just ahahodbaubdwjlasb it FITS????? Oh right here's another song that I've been debating on adding into the next chapter: You Could Do Better(With Me)- still by the same artist, "Need You Now" it's a pretty angsty chapter compared to the lighthearted comedy I've been running with the rest. It's not gonna be too bad though- I wouldn't do that to you guys XD

So tfp Megatron upgraded his frame from his gladiator Megatronus design/colors to his series appearance, right? Red highlights to purple, blue optics to red, flat grays to shiny silver, and in general a sharper design?

Imagine he exactly didn't change his array. It's just so incongruent to the rest of him.

They didn't really have to do such a complicated sequence with a "moving camera" and it's not even a 3D moving camera, they just 2D animated that ship and everybody going down, while also having them sway around, whichever animators were working on this sequence are just plain showing off!

Fuck it here's some of my favourite Wolvie vs Gambit fight moments

First up: Uncanny X-Men {1963} #273, wherein Gambit is trying to prove himself and Wolverine is sizing him up and also dealing with some jealousy over Gambit's close friendship with Storm, something he does not examine ever lmao

Next up: Same comic as before but #277! Technically this is a fake Skrull Wolverine but it does have Gambit stabbing the fake Wolvie to save Storm and then doing a little callback which is neat :]

In #279-280, Gambit is under the mental control of the Shadow King, leading to a pretty cool fight! This was also the start of the Gambit, Wolvie, Jubilee trio dynamic, which was unfortunately shortlived but very present in the 90's!

Next we got Contest of Champions II from 1999! Just a simple tournament bracket that marvel likes doing now and again where readers got to vote for who they wanted to win

Next we got X-Men: Declassified! This is less them fighting [hologram fuckery] and more just me enjoying the little worry moment here

X-Men [1991] #169 features our crew under quarantine and forced to face some of their own fears! Logan has a bad time and lashes out at Rogue and Gambit but uh. Tucks hair behind ear. The way he grabs Remy's throat is kinda. Yanno

Ultimate X-Men #50 is the first time we see them fight in the Ultimate Universe! The second time is in #53 but we'll get to that [side note: Force of Nature is canon in this universe and they have some cute moments themselves uwu]

And now we get to #53 which has probably my favourite WildCard moment because wow there sure are some ways to interpret it!

Finally we go backk to 616 canon with X-Men [1991] #205! This is part of Messiah Complex and I might've posted it before but fuck it you're getting it again
