#i was thinking abt how funny it would be if there was a shiftythrifting blog equivalent in lmk. and half the stuff on there is #submitted by wukong. so i thought a yard sale ep would be funny lol #basically the hoard becomes problem one way or another and wukong figures the best way to get rid of his junk is thru ebay #somehow ends up selling world ending artifacts to random megapolis citizens so mk mei and redson have to scramble to find em #purposely meant to mirror the weekly shenanigans s1-2 style eps that are really goofy (dumpling ep noodles ep etc)#but it gets darker and darker because MK is not fucking ok after that whole thing with the scroll and some unchecked identity crisis #for me id want him to kind of. freak tf out because they have to find MULTIPLE chaos inducing items that could end the world while trying t #be sillygoofy and funny about it. so hes trying to mask his panic with “ohhh guys its just like the good ol days ^_^ remember that ^_^”#ESPECIALLY after that whole thing with the ink scroll. also mei doesnt buy any of it and is worried for him the whole time #as for the B plot it could be monkey king also trying to be very relaxed abt selling 4000 years worth of stuff and tang getting all huffy #like “these are priceless artifacts that could help us learn so much about the past!! wtf man!!!”#and maybe it reveals smth like wukong not wanting to hold on anymore bc his past weighs him down. and theyre all reminders #i think azure mentioned that wukong is sentimental (idk if that was genuine or lying to mk) so that could be touched on to #so basically. the theme would be some sort of conversation abt nostalgia. i think. im not a writer so its very fuzzy in my head #if anyone wants to add on or include their own spin on it feel free. also included undercut redson as a treat somewhere in there #myart #lego monkie kid #monkie kid #lmk red son #lmk mei #lmk MK #lmk xiaotian #lmk xiaojiao #lmk sun wukong #lmk swk #doodles #lmk tang #lmk pigsy #lmk traffic light trio #yard sale ep

DP x DC. Danny Phantom, the Justice League. Ghost King Danny.

Time runs differently in the Infinite Realms. It takes Danny a while to realize, but matter how long he spends there, no time has passed at all when he returns to Amity Park. His friends still don’t really comprehend it, they’ve only taken trips that last hours, a couple days at most, where it can almost be brushed off as time simply running fast when they get home.

Danny’s taken trips that have lasted months, years, (a decade of training,) he knows that no matter how long he takes, when he returns it will be as though he never left.

The ghosts get used to Danny’s constantly yo-yo-ing age as he ducks in and out of the Infinite Realms, growing and aging and resetting every time he goes back to Amity.

Then he becomes the King, and years becomes decades and centuries.

All things accounted for; the number of calls for help they receive, the world-ending disasters they have to deal with, how good a job Danny has done keeping his city under control, the Justice League arriving in Amity Park two years after the hauntings begin is not all that bad.

It’s still too long.

Danny is not a 14 year old anymore, he’s an ancient being who has grown up again and again, who steps back into a 14-year-old body when he returns to earth. He is the ruler of a kingdom and Amity Park is part of it.

idea. since askdusttale answered an ask about where dust got his determination from (because dust has SOME determination just so he can remember the timelines and keep going against the human) and said it was totally up to personal interpretation on how he got his determination. so so so like what if what if dusttale's player did something similar to something new's player and changed dust's code to give him determination??? so dust and killer COULD BOTH had their codes tampered with??? the parallels would be INSANE. they both started off as sans and got their codes tampered with by the player but dust and killer went on two opposite paths. dust out of his own voalition decided to go against the human but killer had to team up with the human no choice at all. the opposite parallels go CRAZY oh god im tweaking

killer doesn't know exactly (since i forgot whether or not he can see codes or something like that. i swear there was an image of him describing fell and swap's code and then his own) but he can SENSE that something's off. something's different about dust that he doesn't quite know about. maybe it gets him to ask a bunch of questions that dust is definitely not open to answering because jesus man mind your own damn business but the question that really sets killer off is the way dust answers when he asks "so if you have determination then how did you get it?" and dust just shrugs his shoulders and said that one day he suddenly remembered the resets and then that's when he got it (and then goes back to mumbling to phantom paps or wtvr) and killer's just like. zomg. a sudden change in behavior or mentality that seemingly has no apparent reason related to the human???? like like like when he suddenly had to agree with the player despite literally never wanting to????? killer is over thinking the implications behind this

meanwhile dust is just annoyed now because killer keeps on following him. he keeps asking him strange questions. wtf why is the guy asking to see his SOUL that's incredibly personal???? he just wants to be left alone man he has no idea what's going on

#this is what happens when i go on my weekly ask dusttale scroll through i come up with ideas like this #one day killer asks dust if he knows about the players and creators #dust says no. and the moment killer starts explaining it to him he backs off #because dust is actually fucking going crazy at what he just barely said #there are people above us that control our stories??? our LIVES???#so he wasn't fighting against some random human but a literal god who wanted to play with him out of curiosity???#dust is never going to forget that conversation. killer knows even that one sentence changed him #dust is really paranoid now when he sees a human. immediately kills them compared to before #yk what let's make this nightmare's gang related! nm notices dust's paranoia toward humans #mans is getting upset because he's killing precious negativity. so he asks killer #killer wtf happened to dust i told you to watch over him and horror (sadly i cant drag him into this hc)#and killer's like i might've told him about creators and players and now he's probably having a crisis over his free will and stuff #yeahhhh that dust gets replaced asap. it's better to leave aus unaware of creators in the DUST (haha)#and then promptly replaces him. killer keeps on eyeing the new dust like #is it a dusttale thing? is it all dusts? or was that the only one? maybe this one KNOWS?#but in the end he leaves him alone bc nm told him too. he's still overthinking those implications though #GOD THIS IS SUCH A COOL FUCKING IDEA #askdusttale i love having freedom to come up with ideas like this BLESS 🙏🙏🙏#listen if there were a real canon reason dust gets determination then i wouldn't have this idea #but dusttale's canon is so loose and just structural its GREAT!!!! i love it #and the fact that the dusttale fics dont even change much to the lore??? just explains dusts personality better #HOW MANY MORE PARALLELS CAN THE MTT HAVE BEFORE THEY EXPLODE I SWEAR #killer sans #dust sans #nightmare sans #murder time trio #bad sanses #utmv #sans au #tricule rant

two cartoonist who’ve been rivals since uni, and now have competing webcomics online, have to work together on the relaunch of a cult classic at the comic press they both work at

they both struggle with art-related physical and mental health issues, and complicated families

#outdrawn #aroaessidhe 2024 reads #sapphic books #I thought this was decent! I liked the concept (even if I got distracted by some art related things…)#and the dynamic between the characters was good. I enjoyed their relationship development broadly speaking #and the emphasis on communication; though it was a quick flip into being together all of a sudden.#The sketchbook doodle flirting was cute. Some interesting exploration of their complicated family situations too.#There’s a lot of exploration of burnout and carpal tunnel and the dangers of artists overworking which I think are important conversations #and are done with some nuance. But it’s pretty much all discussed in the context of the personal pressure they put on themselves #rather than the industry corporate greed and artificial competition created by the comic platform - which are significant in this story!#It felt odd that that connection wasn’t really ever made?#I know that this is a romance and nitpicking the background plot is beside the point and also that I am not a big romance reader #but the premise that the comic hosting site archives everything; wipes the leaderboard; and out of nowhere has a comic competition for #new weekly chapters…I’m sorry but the art world would riot. Even if people enter because they’re desperate for the cash they’d be pissed #People live off the income from their webcomics! if they were erased (temporarily) with no notice…..there would be crimes committed istg #I simply don’t believe that it would be doable to create a new weekly webcomic with no notice while you also have a full-time comic job #(especially as the only stylistic choices mentioned are full-colour) - not to mention what happened to their 8-years-running webcomics #that were archived? they don’t think about them at all after the beginning? surely they’d care about that?#And then with their new comics they make for this competition (after work I guess) we get vague snippets about them but barely anything #- if they’re consuming that much of your time I would expect to feel like they’re thinking about them all the time #rather than the vaguest discussion about genre and cast numbers only.#I guess I just think the whole comic site stunt felt unnecessary for the plot anyway -#it would have worked exactly the same if they were just competing on the normal leaderboard with their normal comics???#anyway - I’m not judging TOO hard about all that because again I know it’s not the point and maybe the industry is like that in some place #Unfortunately it was distracting enough to affect my feelings on the book tho lol.#Lastly: the audiobook………oof. The narrators talk at different speeds; for one.#And Sage’s VA does this deeply weird raspy-anime-teen-boy voice for Noah which is such an odd choice #and doesn’t match her character at all.#unforch my library only had the audiobook (what I usually prefer) so I just had to sort of….translate the narration into a normal voice lol #anyway the romance is good tho

Killing my coworker with psychic blasts bc he keeps complaining about rules about risk management of exposure to hazardous chemicals when THAT IS MY JOB like sorry I’m bossy about wearing gloves and informing collaborators about hazards like YES the exposure is low and would require a lifetime of contact to kill you BUT in a WORKPLACE you are RISKING long term exposure AND we are an institution!!!!
