i don’t know if anyone got this same feeling from the most recent episode but that whole bit of dialogue that ends with roman going “we just made a night of good tv. that’s what we’ve done. nothing happens” and shiv dramatically saying “things DO happen, rome” was sooooo corny and hackneyed to me like did the writer’s strike happen early for succession . are they all asleep. also the business metaphor speak this season makes me want to shoot my brains out it’s almost parody at this point
