You Must Be This Big to Be an Emergency Fund 
You are a very wise and savvy baby bitch because you know that you must ALWAYS SAVE AN EMERGENCY FUND BEFORE INVESTING. Full stop. That is non-negotiable.
Now, once you've got that emergency fund, we recommend starting your investing in one of two ways:
Open a brokerage account with $1000. Most of these bad boys have minimum deposits, and that number is usually somewhere around $1k. More info in the links below.
Start an Acorns account with $100. Acorns is one of our marketing affiliates so if you click this link we'll get a little money when you sign up. Rainbow Six Siege players, interested in Arknights?
Arknights is having it's Rainbow Six Siege collab in approximately 3 months. If you're interested in getting to know the game, and later when the collab happens, you'll be able to get a few familiar faces playable.

What is Arknights? Arknights is a free-to-play tactical tower defense game with character collecting features.
"Easy to understand, hard to master", as a tower defense game with high difficulty content, different game modes, and many characters to collect, Arknights offers an unique gameplay experience where you make use of your various operators to make the decisions to win. The game is available in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan server) Japanese, Korean, English (Global server). The event that introduces the Siege operators has passed in the CN server, but JP, KR and Eng servers will be having the collaboration event at the same time (approx. 8-9/24), and presumably on the TW server a few months later of that.
Collab? Siege operators featured in Arknights are Ash, Tachanka, Frost, Blitz, Ela, Fuze, Iana and Doc. You can get Tachanka and Fuze by playing the event (Operation Originium Dust for Tachanka and Operation Lucent Arrowhead for Fuze). Other characters are split in headhunting banners, where you have to roll for the opportunity to acquire them, separated as Ash+Frost+Blitz and Ela+Iana+Doc.

Ash and Ela are 6-stars, highest rarity in the game while the others are 5-stars, second highest rarity in the game. The acquisition probability for these characters is 2% for the 6-stars and 8% for the 5-stars. If you fail to get a 6-star after rolling 50 times, the 2% chance will go up by 2% every time you do not get a 6-star (51st roll will have a 4% and your 52nd roll will have 6% chance and so forth.) The chance to acquire the characters is 50%, however if you reach 120 rolls you will automatically acquire Ash/Ela and once per banner, if you get one of the two 5-stars, the next 5-star will automatically be the other 5-star (e.g., you get Frost, then the next 5-star is guaranteed to be Blitz).
Why now? Arknights is estimated to have the collab in a few months (which should have in-game content for Siege as well). Arknights does require some time investment to get to a point where you can play through all of the content that the collab will provide. With six of the playable Siege operators being gacha-exclusive, this will give you ample time to save up. (If you do not save up, you can still acquire the characters, but this will take up a lot of your time compared to starting earlier and saving up.)
How difficult? Arknights has many different types of gameplay, but you don't need to play all of them straight away. The game starts relatively easy, explaining the gameplay principles and later adding various gimmicks to overcome. If you are struggling with a specific stage, Arknights has an active community providing guides and tips.
Platform? Arknights is a mobile game available through Apple Store and Google Play but it's also available for pc through Google Play, or with an emulator like BlueStacks. The gameplay is as easy as on a mobile device or on PC.
Anything else? The event will feature costumes for Ash, Tachanka, Ela, Iana and Doc. These are purely cosmetic items (new illustration and a different character model and different effect animations). But if you want those as well, it's reccomended to start saving for those.
Ending note, while Arknights offers an unique and fun gameplay experience as well as good music and story, if you are prone to lootbox/gacha spending issues in relation to in-game purchases, I would not reccomend the game. While Arknights is seen as a "better than average" gacha, it is still a game that lives on micro-transactions. You can enjoy the story, soundtracks and gameplay content through many content creators found online.

I know that customers are shallow despite what they virtue signal in TikTok comment sections. It’s the reason why brands pay already rich, skinny, blonde (usually white) women tons of money to promote their brand even though ppl say they want “relatability and diversity”. The data doesn’t lie.
My home as a low income girly pop is not the setting ppl want to see when I’m promoting my product. They want the illusion that I have money bc that’s aspirational and inspires them to buy the product bc then they can “be just like her”.
Maybe if I was middle class I could get away with it but no one wants to see poverty, sorry.
I just rented a studio space to promote the product for my upcoming launch. It’s $70 an hour but in my mind it was an investment. I say ‘was’ rather than ‘is’ because I realize that I have a better investment opportunity.
I could spend $280 for four hours of studio time to create video content and take lifestyle photos however I’d be rushing and won’t have time to retake mistakes I see when I’m editing bc I’m trying to make 2-3 weeks worth of good content in 4 hours.
Or
I could rent a nice airbnb downtown for $285 and get a full 24 hours to make video content, take photos, AND edit with time to reshoot mistakes all in one go.
I already put down the deposit for the studio for this months release however next month I’ll be renting an Airbnb.
I was also going to hire a photographer to take and edit my lifestyle photos but it’s $300 for an hour and depending on how many outfits I want to shoot it could go over an hour. Why do that when I could just take the photos myself and then hire a photoshop pro from Ukraine on up-work for $100. After all, it’s meant to be lifestyle and feel native to the platform. I don’t know how many influencer and micro influencers get professional photos taken every-time they post on insta but my guess is it’s not many.
My goal this month is to order samples for my next five releases, and buy props (home decor) for the Airbnb to make it look natural and lived in. Things like candles, throw blankets and pillows, a fur rug, vases, and flowers. I’ll also bring my own home items like my jewelry holder and pink curtains. Then in April I can shoot video content and take pictures for my next 3-4 launches.
I’ll need a lot of caffeine to take advantage of the full 24 hours but I believe it’s doable.
Anything to sell the lifestyle.

My Experience:
Before the acclaimed Assassin’s Creed franchise was born, Ubisoft's greatest parkour master game was the Prince of Persia. An epic tale of a warrior prince and unique rewinding time ability that was always fun to do. But to create something new, Ubisoft made a total 180 on this game, no longer would the Prince be ... .uhm a Prince. But he would be a (I guess) traveling thief who has lost his donkey………one word: AWESOME! 
This new Prince is now my favorite, THAT”S NOTHING MORE TO SAY!!

Okay Okay I’m kidding! 
Prince of Persia is a game where you are immediately sucked into its plot. Helping a young woman named Elika to stop the curse that has left her kingdom ruined and her people dead. While you are playing as the “hero” of this game, The Prince behaves more like an anti-hero than anything else, cocky, a bit arrogant and flirtatious when given the chance. This is what makes this game worth it. The interaction between Prince and Elika is so much fun, there’s a button where you can have them speak to one another at any given time. Elika will fight alongside Prince, so if you parry or activate any special move, Elika will provide a hand. But here’s the issue of this game, Elika will always prevent Prince’s death. From falling off the platforms or enemies about to deliver the final blow. 
Safely put this game has no game over!  
As amazing as this sounds, it kinda takes away from the difficulty of this game, if there really is one. You see, while playing Prince of Persia, the game does feature four interesting bosses. These bosses have some unique story backgrounds, they all were in charge of different parts of the map which gives them a cool intake of who they were. But while the part of the world is challenging and enemies themselves are unique. It will be the same boss battle hack and slash encounter over and over again. 
The maps themselves also feature some challenging paths that are unlocked through story progression. It adds more to the parkour challenge and they are a challenge. One mistake and you would have to start all over again.   
As much as I can nitpick a person’s upper strength to climb and jump all the obstacles in this game. This is (like I said) not the most typical Prince of Persia game, but I enjoyed it so much. Simple to play on keyboard, beautiful graphics and character interactions that make up for the amount of ideas this could have had. This is an adventure that your two dollars investment will be proud to spend!

on the obsolescence of the elite in fashion
About five days ago, I came across an article on Vogue’s website : “These are the Spring 2023 trends Vogue Editors are investing in now”. Reading the article I realized not only I have been wearing these “spring 23 trends” for at least two years but they are already quite popular and widely worn. This made me think about how the big leading brains of fashion are actually... late. 
It is no secret that fashion is an elitist industry and that a small group used to dictate trends, but we live in a time when people don’t wait for three old rich Miranda Priestly tell them what is in to experiment with their own style. I still can not understand how we let these people tell us black and navy do not work together but that is another debate. The pandemic was surely a catalyst for experimentation in any field and a door to new ideas and creators. 
For example, TikTok soared during the pandemic and is still thriving now.  It is today an unavoidable platform for fashion content creators where we have witnessed the rise of countless micro trends. It seems luxury houses themselves to appeal to a larger audience, to stay relevant, have to take inspiration from these creators and the trends common people created (or brought up to date) themselves. When Miu Miu micro skirt was revealed, it is almost as if the public wanted to call it genius, and don’t get me wrong I am a big Miu Miu advocate, but this is only the continuity of the “y2k” era in fashion that has been floating above our head for who knows how long now. 
Another thing that has always been an endless pit of inspiration for fashion houses are cultures. People have been making more research, reconnecting with their own cultural backgrounds and incorporating it into their style before brands have time to steal, exploit and call it theirs (unfortunately it actually does not totally stop them from doing so). 
Now that the mass is the trendsetter, what is there left to do for the elite ?  
One of my fears is that one day, we will get bored of fashion’s cyclic tendencies and there will be nothing left to invent. Fortunately with common people shaping and re-shaping their style, trends, cultures, mixing them altogether, the possibilities are endless.
