midday blues for when you’re lonely

midday wonderings, how are you? Do you miss me? Got no friends here. Haven't been taking a drag from an actual stick Does menthol still gives you a head rush? Does the sunset still look the same half the world away? It doesnt feel the same here, I don't even try.

No music in the afternoon. Just taking a nap before work. Wide eyed at night for different reasons. I would close my eyes, only to go back. If gravity won't let me move, I hope this mind could fly. But it feels different. But it feels different.

There's no us. No shadows dancing on the rooftop. No glistening forehead sweat in moonlight. Smoke floating around us, remains unseen. Bottles around the corner, taste of pomelo and gin. Got a new high, but I'm down for some old nicotine rush.

I'm a mutt; Native American & European mixes. Unfortunately, I got mostly light skin genes. Unfortunate because I spend A LOT of time outdoors fishing and I burn like a lobster. That being said, I have tried thousands of different sunscreens from all over the globe. I got to try @klairs.global Mid-Day Sun Lotion from @0.8l_usa recently and I have to say, it's one of the good ones; especially for use on the face. It has a very light scent and doesn't smell strongly like many American sunscreens. The light blue cream absorbs very well and doesn't leave a greasy film sitting on top of the skin. That is probably my favorite part; because it absorbs so well, it doesn't drip into my eyes if I start to sweat a little. This doesn't burn my sensitive facial skin and provides very good coverage for fair skin. ⭐Skincare Review⭐ So I have been testing the @klairs.global Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40/PA++ for about three weeks. This was provided to me at a discount by @0.8l_usa in exchange for a review. ⭐Claims: Provides UV protection, maintains moisture, soothes damaged skin from sun and heat exposure, keeps skin bright due to blue color, and moisturizes without stickiness. ⭐Key Ingredients: Guaiazulene, Titanium Dioxide, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Niacinamide, and Zinc Oxide. ⭐Scent: A fresh scent, probably due to the oils in the sunscreen. ⭐Use: This is a physical sunscreen that has a blue tint due to the Guaiazulene. Spreads easily and evenly. Does have a pretty significant white cast but it goes away after about 5-10 minutes. It does keep my skin very moisturized, so I don't use a lotion when I use this. My skin is combo dry and right now Texas is in the triple digits so after a few hours my skin does look a bit oily. If you have oily or combo skin I think this would work best during the Fall or Winter months. I did really like this sunscreen, however you must have patience to let the white cast fade. If you're in a hurry this won't work, lol. It didn't clog my pores and didn't irritate my skin which is great! I did my first 5K a few days ago, and this #klairs #BlueSunLotion with SPF 40 #SunBlock was perfect for it! I applied the light #MiddayBlue #SunScreen just before I left my house; about 7:00am, and left back home around 12:30pm. I was outdoors for approximately 5 hours, and it protected my skin perfectly. I know the importance of wearing sunscreen all year round, and it's important to me for the product to contain natural ingredients on top of working. Some of klairs Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion ingredients include; Arginine, Lactobacillus Ferment, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Lavender Oil, Lemon Oil Peel, and Orange Peel Oil. It's good for all skin types, and can be applied to face and body.
