been avoiding thinking about ted lasso bc of the disappointment i felt with the final season but wriggle up on dry land has brought the brainrot back full force and i just remembered how jamied dad literally tried to. Murder coach beard. Like maybe thats being dramatic but that was an insane dark scene especially him calling beard “son” just a few hours after beard stopped him from pummeling his own son and it has only reinvigorated my hatred for how season 3 handled everything regarding jamie and his dad and forgiveness across the board in general. it may not be as expected but hee is totally the type to love those cozy little holiday markets. he enjoys looking at everything the vendors are selling -- he examines each individual ornament with this adorable amazement 😭 and his eyes light up whenever he sees christmas lights :((( he’s so cute. he’ll grab your hand and always tell you to look at this or look at that and he offers to buy you anything you want 💘 by the end of the day he’s bought you a ton of little gifts and he’s so excited to put the ornaments he bought up on the tree :)

jay → making cookies

this man is talented in the kitchen and his expertise certainly doesn’t stop at holiday baking 😇 he’ll let you pick any recipe you want and then buy all of the ingredients himself <3 you honestly don’t really know what you’re doing but jay is happy to help you 😭 imagine him wrapping his arms around you from behind as you roll out the dough aghhh :((( he splurged on all different cookie-cutter shapes, frosting colors, and sprinkles because he loves to spoil you. you two make gingerbread men and decorate them to look like each other which sort of ends up as a mess but it doesn’t matter bc it’s still delicious 🫶🫶 ALSO jay wiping frosting on your nose like a cheesy hallmark movie UGH my heart

jake → movies

jake is definitely a sucker for the holiday classics -- elf, home alone, you name it. you and him snuggle up on the couch underneath a cozy blanket and just marathon them all day <333 occasionally he can even recite certain scenes word for word and you absolutely tease him for it 😭 but deep down you think it’s endearingly nerdy. he laughs whole heartedly at every corny joke and you can’t help but laugh too <3 as much as jake loves these movies, in reality he’s just happy to spend time snuggling with you :((( after a while you two fall asleep in each other’s arms as the tv plays 🫶

sunghoon → karaoke

we’ve all seen how this boy will go wild when given a karaoke mic 😭 when “all i want for christmas is you” starts playing it’s OVER. you two will be screaming the lyrics so loud your vocal chords might give out. sunghoon is channeling his inner mariah while you try (and fail) to hit the whistle notes. both of you will entertain yourselves for hours singing all of the holiday classics <333 sunghoon will jump up on the coffee table to dance and pull you right up there with him. he’ll hold you in his arms and look you right in the eyes as he sings because he wants to serenade you 😭 you might get some noise complaints from the neighbors but you two don’t care at all 🫶

sunoo → decorating

you already know this boy is a connoisseur at christmas decorating <3 he’s got everything covered from the lights to the wreath to the tree ornaments. sunoo has his heart set on being the best-decorated place in town because he won’t settle for anything less 🫶 you two have so much fun putting up all the lights and making them looking all pretty, and when you can’t reach high enough to place them he helps you out :((( he even has custom ornaments with your name on them to put on the tree!! after you two are done your place looks like something off of a christmas card and you two pass out on the couch after all your hard work 💘

niki → sledding

it doesn’t matter if it’s freezing outside, if there’s snow on the ground niki WILL force you to go outside with him. he insists on going to the steepest possible hill in your neighborhood and sledding for HOURS 😭 tbh you’re scared shitless bc this boy wants to go at maximum speed but he insists it’s fine 😭 niki sits behind you in the sled and wraps his arms around you before he tells you to hold on tight and pushes off. as you two fly down the hill you’re screaming your head off while he’s just maniacally laughing 💀 and even tho you were scared at first once you reach the bottom you’re already asking to go again :)))

Jaysen is a pro-level netrunner. Netrunners are known to be often not so fit compared to those who do no netrunning. However, he's a bit healthier than his lil' brother Vijay because he doesn't spend 24/7 of his time on the net. Nonetheless he often has headaches or forgets to eat all day when he's doing serious netrunning. He tends to get sick more often because of exhaustion and his body being stressed plus he dosen't eat healthy at all.

He also has a bit of a disadvantage since he's lost his entire left arm in a car race incident — that is how he came to his copper/red cybernetic arm. It is fully functional but doesn't come with any tech that would help him in combat. It's just a prosthetic that helps him to get normal through life. But he likes to use it to throw someone his chrome fist in the face if he feels threatened.

However, some days when he cannot really concentrate because he over exaggerated his netrunning once again he may not be able to use it properly. That means e.g. he wants to grab something with his left it can happen that the fingers do not respond and he has to concentrate harder for it to work. There's a lot of times when he dropped something to the floor. Numerous glasses broke that way.

For the crime stuff: It's a bit funny because Jay used to have a job as an NCPD officer for a while but got violent against the subjects he should take into custody (which is why he got shifted into the netrunning section fast and then he quit the job soon afterwards). So Jaysen is definitely known for having committed crimes after his police time, but thanks to connections and his foster dad being a police officer as well some charges were dismissed. He got mostly caught for illegal street racing and car theft but he also smashed some guy once who wanted to steal his car and had quite some shootouts where he bullseyed his enemies because he’s a very good gunslinger. Jaysen is also willing to kill and torture people in the most crucial way a netrunner can do for information if it benefits him — especially along his way to find his brother a bunch of people have found their way to cyberspace hell for sure. He really thinks he does the world something good when he eliminates those bad for the world and he’s got no mercy for certain gangs. It is not unlikely that he will harm innocent people if it is a sacrifice for the greater good.

Jaysen was adopted when he was about to be three years old, so he and Vijay didn't know they had a twin brother. Jaysen found out as a teen and went on a longer journey to find Vijay (but his brother chose to be a skilled runner like him and knew how to erase almost all of his own traces). But once he finally finds Vijay, they have a strong bond within no time. They do in fact complete each other. There's a lot the two have in common yet there are also differences but this only makes a unity with both feeling 'complete' and it is a key for something very important.

Unlike his brother Vijay, JJ happens to be super extroverted. He's got days tho where he seeks for some bit of introversion, but these are rare.

As a pisces JJ should have the trait to be very empathetic, he only happens to be that way with those he likes and trusts (Vijay is very empathetic to pretty much everyone) and so he happens to be more of the vicious bastard instead. He likes to cause mayhem (even amongst his friends) and he is definitely super reckless as well. He just runs into situations head first and is not cautious at all — applied to highly contextual situations.

However, he too, thanks to a lot of cyberware, stood under medical drugs for a bit when he got his cybernetic arm. As careless as JJ is sometimes he forgot to take them and it only contributed to his somewhat psychotic tendencies. If you witness how JJ, in contrast to his twin Vijay, works as a merc using his netrunner skills, you will definitely think he is a cyberpsycho. Yet Jay (neither V) can fall into cyberpsychosis because of a 'natural born skill' both of them have (JJ is fond of it, Vijay does not know before he meets him) and they will find out why they've got it.

it has been really hard for me to post art, both drawing and writing. it's not just about engagement/lack thereof or abt concrit or about anything in particular. i just get so caught up in comparisons and breaking things down and wanting to be objectively "better" at it and idk if i'm even enjoying it anymore.

sometimes i think seriously about stopping? i'd still create but. just for me. idk.

and im having mixed feelings about fandom in general. idk. it's late at night and it's been dark for too many hours and ik that's putting me in A Mood(tm) but it's still been! hard! and i get sad and frustrated and self-conscious all the time

it just feels like im out here putting my ugly shit next to everyone's polished pretty pieces. and ik, ik, two cakes, i've been trying to internalize that, but it's hard right now. i cannot stop thinking about the pretty fics ive read and i cannot stop being so fucking envious of them and it feels gross! like i should just appreciate them? they're lovely, mine doesn't have to and shouldn't be a replica, etc etc, all these things i know intellectually, but... ugh.

and it's extra frustrating bc i know ppl like my stuff, esp my writing. they do! they've said it! ppl who have no cause to lie to me, strangers, etc. but i just can't feel it and im so... envy demon has a fucking hold of me lmao.

might be circling back to the going too fast/pushing myself too hard thing again. but i've just been dealing with the constant undercurrent of severe frustration with everything i attempt. i try to shake it off but idk, if it's this consistent...?

AND U EXPLAIN THINGS IN SUCH AN INTERESTING WAY and i think that’s why it’s not tedious to read ur fics for me? i’m gonna steal a line from my own comm bc i have it on hand … “Then it’s red, white and blue— Mainly red and blue. It’s all very fitting and American.” like it’s simple, it gets the point across, but it’s more interesting than just saying the cops were called blah blah blah. or vice versa sometimes things are over explained and that might be helpful to some people but for me it does nothing. maybe not the best example but i hope u know what i’m trying to say !! um ik this isn’t like a universal problem so u probably don’t do it intentionally but just know that ur writing style is like a godsend for me !! idk if that benefits u at all since it’s like a me thing but yah :3 i’m sure others that can’t visualize feel similarly

also just ur willingness to experiment with different things is one of the things i love most about ur blog! ur master list is just very diverse and every fic feels vastly different from the others. if that makes sense? like u can tell every piece is a cherry fic but i can read 4 cherry fics in a day and still feel like nothing was repetitive? HOWEVER on the flip side, ur fics with multiple parts feel very cohesive and they flow smoothly. like readers personality stays consistent WHICH IS ANOTHER THING !!! kinda going back i think . but all the readers in ur fics have different personalities which is so so nice. it gives the people reading ur fics the opportunity to relate to the reader in different ways each time ! and i feel like even when i don’t relate to the personalities of one of the readers u still manage to write in a way that makes it enjoyable. like i genuinely feel like i’m living vicariously through every single reader in ur fics! and if the fic is in leons pov that’s always fun too !!!! like even if u say he’s ooc i’m still like yeah hypothetically if he were in this situation this is how he would be thinking. UM and although u may voice that u don’t feel as confident writing certain things u still give it a shot and it always turns out so good?? like rigor mortis for example !! ik u said u struggle with writing gore but it was still sososososo good ? so just ur willingness to try out different things is very admirable !!

hello!! she is indeed getting bigger <3 if i had to guess right now i'd say i'm maybe...possibly nearing the halfway point of the fic, plotwise? but honestly it's really hard to say lol. i've got 2 more story arcs to cover in part 3 (plus finishing the current one), and then part 4 is gonna have like...2 or 3 story arcs as well, plus an epilogue. so it just depends on how long it takes me to cover all that ground!

and yeah i'm having a lot of fun writing!! i know what u mean abt the whole "ugh writing amirite" bit that writers do lol and i'm sure i do it sometimes too...i mean i think tone varies a lot and many people who complain about writing still really enjoy the activity, but i do think there is sometimes this self-flagellating tendency amongst some writers to act like writing is meant to be this strenuous, emotionally draining activity like ur...idk sisyphus w the stone or something, and if you're writing something 'easy' or 'fun' you're somehow a lower caliber of writer than those who Nobly Suffer for their art, etc...which i think is dumb lol. suffering doesn't inherently make art any better or more noble
