Bridgewater fanart again! (Jeremy Bradshaw in his office)

This is my biggest biggest fanart I’ve ever done so far and let me just say that I’m super proud of it!! There are a lot of details once again 👀 (kudos if you can see the references!)

This is a fanart totally dedicated to @thelaurenshippen , thank you so much for your support on my fanarts, it truly means the world to me, and it isn’t much but it is my way to thank you, as you said that you had a new headcanon as you reblogged my Jeremy sleeping fanart “also: new headcanon I now have vipin started TAing for Jeremy when he was still in undergrad so Jeremy also has one photo of the two of them at Vipin's graduation in his office” so I had to do this: Jeremy’s office where there is a picture of the two at Vipin’s graduation!

Once again as the details are detailing and the headcanon is headcanoning, I’m putting some further explanation after the read more! (And also I’ll tell the refs if you don’t want to search for too long 😭)

It took me 19 hours (I’m slow don’t judge me too much and this is not counting the frame on Jeremy’s desk 😭) so let me just say that a LOT of thoughts went through that little (big?) piece.

First of all as you saw, there is Vipin’s graduation pic on Jeremy’s desk, so here’s a further explanation of it under the post of the art itself (in case you want to see it in a bigger way too)

Then, for the phone’s screen, I did a fake conversation between Vipin and Jeremy which I think totally happened at some point. And here is the real screenshot of it because I don’t think you can see well what is written on the fanart unfortunately. (I also put a little reference to the album “Feelings and Such” by Louden Swain in it which is what Jeremy is supposed to listen to, I gotta say the main reason is because it’s my fave album and group but I would totally see Jeremy listening to that kind of music from time to time, I see him listening to “There’s the Rub” from that album)

Then comes his computer: it is truly the logo of the Bridgewater State University, the sticker from the real merch of the Bridgewater podcast, and the ace flag (because Jeremy Bradshaw being on the ace spec soothes my soul)! It’s my headcanon about Jeremy’s computer, it’s the third time I’ve drawn his pc, and the stickers stay the same no matter what and it’ll stay this way jsksksk

There is little basket of stim toys on his desk too and that’s totally my headcanon: I see Jeremy as a really caring professor, and to me he would have it in his office for the stressed out students coming to see him so they can feel better, or at least his students know he has some to lend! (And I’m nd, I would love to have a professor like that 😭) (thanks for a moot on Twitter for the slinky idea!!)

For the sticky notes on the desk: the one on the papers states “read before 03/24” which is the date the last episode of S2 aired, the pink one “proofread Lauren’s thesis defense date 08/06” Lauren is a direct nod to Lauren Shippen, and the date corresponds to the first airing date of the two first eps of S1 of Bridgewater.

The sticky note it “printer password BSU1976JyBw PS: Vipin I do have a limited amount of copies!” because I thought that printers in the uni might have password deferring from each profs (at least it was like this in my French highschool — as a reminder, I’m from France so it’s really me trying to find stuff on the internet), so BSU = Bridgewater State University, 1976 being Jeremy’s birth year (at least I tried to calculate it and it was 1976? Hopefully I’m right 😭✋ as the show aired in 2021 I tried to assume that 2021 was also the date in the podcast and as Jeremy is 45 during S1 welp), and JyBw is just the first and last letter of his first and last name. Comes my headcanon: at some point Jeremy couldn’t print anything because Vipin had printed too many stuff, hence the little reminder because Jeremy doesn’t want to beg to have more copies 😭

The research paper Jeremy has to read before 03/24 has been written by a certain “J.Novak”! (Totally a Supernatural reference) And when it comes to SPN refs, it’s much more subtle, but I did the same soles for Jeremy’s shoes as Castiel in the episode The End of spn (because the shoes are quite famous for being also identical to the one Dean wears so it was funny and on a funfact Jeremy’s legs and feet posture is bc I saw Misha sit like this so I thought it was fun (I also sit like that so it made me happy))

Behind Jeremy there’s an undone Rubik’s Cube, because I totally see it as Jeremy’s very own stim toy but the catch is that he doesn’t know how to solve it 😭 (thanks another moot for the idea @stillwinchester ily!!).

There’s also a mug, because our man needs to stay concentrated (tea? coffee? Your thoughts, to me Jeremy is more of a tea guy), this is a reference to the X-Files! Big Blue is txf’s Nessie, and the mug is a literal copy of the “real” merch mug you can see in “Quagmire” (3x22 of the X-Files)

For the posters on the walls, the one behind the bookshelves was the main art of an exhibition which occurred “Supernatural America: The Paranormal in American Art” and I’m persuaded that Jeremy would have gone to see that! And he would have loved to keep something from it! (But he ended up having to put his shelf in front of it because he had to put his books somewhere and maybe it creeped out his colleagues and students, here’s a picture of the original painting)

And for the one near his desk, it is an old poster from the American Folk Art Museum, and to me Jeremy would totally be a museum guy, it’s very “academic” after all, plus he would be interested into it as it’s more around people and self taught people and so on, as he is very interested into anthropology, it goes well with the whole vibe.

For the blackboard, the titles are basically what he is teaching in his lecture in S1 EP01 so to me it would be his way to see more what he has to work on for his students (and I think he fidgets his chalks in his lecture because in the same ep as he speaks you can truly hear a lot of chalk sounds which weren’t due to him writing so I understood it that way?), and there’s a little magnet with a “buy cat food!” because headcanon to me but Jeremy owns a cat (a black cat you can see him on his lockscreen on my drawing of Jeremy sleeping) but as he spends a lot of the time at the BSU, I think he would put reminders just in case 😭 (and there’s a little flower drawing made by Vipin! to me he would doodle little stuff from time to time with little smileys to brighten up Jeremy’s day a little)

Then in the bookshelves you can see a little purple owl! It’s to me, an amethyst carved one, as Jeremy had had his esoteric era when he was younger (it was said in S2 that he tried to be Wiccan) he must still have some stone knowledge and as amethyst is supposed to have soothing and good vibes properties, he might have taken this although he doesn’t believe in it anymore, and of course he picked it because it was an owl because it’s better now to laugh about the owl situation 😭

Lastly: all the books are real books! It took me some time but all of these exist, it’s mainly anthropology book, faculty/uni book, research stuff, and there are two books about the Bridgewater triangle! I tried to keep it around Jeremy’s field of course so it’s the occult, witchcraft, the Salem trials, UFOs, beliefs and all!

AUTISTIC MICKEY HEADCANONS????

OF COURSE!! most of these have to do with unique sensory/stimming outlets, but i think they fit well.

likes spicy foods for the *sensory experience*

never really figured out the whole stimming thing, sometimes when he's excited he will grab ian by the shoulders and shake him. lovingly ofc

bite stim. he bites/chews on things he definitely shouldn't. ian tries to supply chews and even baby teethers at one point but none of it works! mickey bites ian's hands i think, affectionately

he also probably screams/yells really loud even if it's all positive feelings. Ian is like "are you good" and the answer is "yes! look at this thing"

ian lays on top of them when they cuddle bc pressure. maybe mickey gets a weighted blanket eventually but he only uses it when ian is nowhere near and cant lay on him

I think mickey likes play fighting/wrestling as like, a sensory thing? like partner stimming but slightly violent

he doesn't even realize that the reason he's a little bit jumpy/defensive/stressed after going out is bc of sensory overload. he discovers soundproof headphones and it's just great for him

he wears them a lot, and ian will just go on and on talking to him before realizing that he hasn't heard a word

infodumps about really dark shit. like weapons and crime, he just knows a lot about it all. it's a little concerning but ian nods along

vocal stims are the most random shit obviously, mostly bits from songs. ian will sing with him like that one scene from s11

idk what it's called but the whole thing where someone gives someone a cool rock they found as a present? he does that. it's all very much random knick-knacks, but he'll give ian rocks, pieces of colorful glass, bottle caps, can tabs, marbles etc. ian has no idea where he acquires the objects from but he has a glass dish for them

Autism Headcanons

I really like headcanoning characters as autistic, because often autistic people written by nt people are stereotypes (with the exception of Sherlock holmes) so seeing characters who unintentionally relatable to autistics is so important! I have a lot of reasons why I hc Walt Strickler and Newt Scamander as autistic, but maybe I'm just projecting. But look at the concepts! (Some of these may be Canon. Shh let me infodump)

Edward (Edward Scissorhands): Isolated man-made sweetheart with scissors for hands who is incredibly gentle but doesn't understand Society™️. He moves robotically, is mainly nonverbal, doesnt understand common social rules, such as the "if you found a briefcase full of money, what would you do?" Since Autistic people like me need very good reasons to follow rules, and Edward doesnt understand how giving your loved ones found money is "wrong". He uses his "disability" to channel his creativity in his gardening, hedge-trimming, and haircutting. But he was willing to give it all up just to fit in! I have seen many emotional movies, but this is truly the only one thst made me sob out loud, because of how much i could relate. Hes ME. also Tim Burton himself is at least speculated to be on the spectrum, and many see the movie as a whole as an allegory for autism. This doesnt mean that i believe the scissors THEMSELVES are a symbol for autism, because even if edward didnt have them he still exhibits very autistic traits.

Sherlock Holmes: genius detective who's neutral good, physically fights pedos, drinks respect women juice, gay-asexual, and does Crack in his spare time. At the time, nobody knew what autism was! But sherlock is so clearly autism-coded its hard to ignore. Im talking about every adaptation Ever. My first exposure to Sherlock Holmes was the BBC series (granted, i know its not necessarily the most well-written adaptation, but listen) and i was SHOOK at how autistic he was. Even in the novels hes percieved as keeping his things cluttered, but he has a purpose in his clutter, and organizes his thoughts. He goes off on tangents before going back to his original point. Basil of Baker Street, basically Sherlock Holmes in Disneys the Great Mouse Detective, VISIBLY STIMS ONSCREEN. anyway nobody needed convincing on that one but yeah.

Newt Scamander (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them): kind, soft wizard who keeps magical creatures in a briefcase. He's soft-spoken, drops eye-content mid conversation, and PURSUES A LIFE OF CONSERVING MAGICAL CREATURES. HES THE ONLY ONE OF HIS PROFESSION IN THE WORLD. ITS ALL RIGHT THERE.

Fiver (Watership Down): a runty, anxious rabbit with the power of prophecy. the theory of Fiver being autistic isnt originally mine (look through my reblogs) but i fully accept it. Now, its debatable whether autism is a Thing among animals or if it presents itself another way, but then again this is fiction. Where to begin with Fiver? Hes based off the Greek Myth of Cassandra, who was blessed with divination but cursed to never be believed. Growing Up With Autism. I cant explain it but you Autistic readers will understand. And simply look at his character!

Erik Destler (the Phantom of the Opera, Phantom): disfigured savant, expert illusionist, lives in the basement of an opera house. In Phantom by Susan Kay he's portrayed as a savant, and while not all savants are born that way, one out of ten autistics are also autistic savant. His hyperfixation on the macabre, his immense creative drive, its all there knock yourselves out.

Walt Strickler: a devious shapeshifting idiot with genius energy, who drops sick dad jokes, huge history nerd, a minority in his own country while at the same time belonging to no country. This might be just me projecting but I thought it was genius. There's also the widely accepted history theory that the Changeling Myth was based off early perceptions of Autism, and whether this suggests that all the Changelings in ToA are autistic is, I believe, false, since in Trollhunters, changelings are made, but autists are Born, not Made. But Strickler is by far my favorite to fixate on! He's such a good concept as an autistic character because he doesn't fall into the stereotypes that intentionally-written autists do. He's sassy, sarcastic, and is simply UNBEARABLE with puns. I view his Villainous Actions™️ of clicking the pen and sitting on tables as stimming or autistic habits, and his odd collection of books. Despite him not being human himself, he has a WILD fascination with human history and culture, which is a better hyperfixation for an autistic character than He Likes Trains and Math. Strickler also has the general Vibe of someone who's constantly holding back from going completely Feral and Rabid. Absolute autism energy

Richarlyson is such a fun character bc he's like the main character, just a little guy, the dude who dies to start the main character's story, and the symbol of hope charactersare given in their time of need, all at the same time

he's the main character in the way that the world revolves around him. like, he showed up, 5 people became obsessed with keeping him alive, safe and happy, his older brother (Bobby) tries to steal his spotlight, some people wanted him dead from the moment he was born, one of his fathers wants him to be a killing machine, he knows 3 languages, you see my point. and now, like, so many people are working on keeping him safe. he's the only uncracked egg, that has to mean something

he's just a little guy because he is just a little guy. he makes cute drawings for his dads and hangs out with his friends and has a bunch of siblings and is learning the flute and has a gun. he's 5 days old and he already lost a life

if he dies it's the beginning of so many terrible arcs. what is Forever's grind for if not his son's safety- to end the world, to get phil to love him? who does the emerald in Felps's house belong to? what's the point of the football field? what's the point of all the training? what if you lose a third (?) chance.

he's Quackity's hope, also, I guess, to be the parent he tried to be but never could, even if all he has is 1% of his custody

sorry anyway MOVING ON TO THE AVTUAL RICHAS HEADCANONS

Due to being the youngest egg, the others have varying types of Older Brother behavior with him

Despite whatever his siblings do, Richas still loves them

He's been taken to Tilin's grave quite a few times now, and each time he just gets... really sad. It doesn't make him value his life the way they want it to- instead, it convinces him he can't, by any means, let himself get killed, otherwise his dads will end up like 1% dad quackity (very very sad), and his siblings will mourn him and that won't be nice

he's an incredibly sweet kid- this isn't an hc as much as it's an Actual Real On God fact, I just think it's very important

because he is such a sweet kid, the lessons about hurting other things are the ones that he dislikes most

he loves tax evasion it's his favorite crime to commit

he picks up other people's habits very easily! things like tics, stims, speech patterns, etc

he's scared being manco will make his dads like him less. no matter how many times they tell him it's fine, he feels he has to compensate for it somehow

his gun is like a comfort object to him, and staying away from it for too long makes him very uncomfortable

despite being scared of bulls, he doesn't hate them, not like Leo hates whales, for example. Killing that bull he had gotten phisically close to wasn't pleasant

as he grows, he tries to put on a bit of a tougher persona because of, especially, Cellbit's expectations, although all the other dads' also contribute in different ways

ultimately, he sucks at keeping that up, and 99,9% of people can see right through him

he cherishes his first stolen emerald so so much

he uses braces due to his bad leg! that leg stops at the knee, and Forever is working on a prosthetic for him

he loves watching Forever work on the prosthetic, and will often comment on things he wants on it

he has a hard time understanding romance, due to having 5 dads who aren't in love with each other, Chayanne's dad being one of his dad's crush (he THINKS that's it), whatever cellbit and roier have going, etc

he forgives very easily

he doesn't really... like his definetly not a captivity room. he thinks he understands why he has to sleep there, and the attempts to make it more cozy worked a little, but it's too dark and quiet and small in there. there's barely any space to shoot his gun and soon there won't be space for paintings

somewhere, he has a whole ass habitat for his pet jabuti

he loves Dapper's (I think it's Dapperd I forgor) zoo

he has flute lessons with Tallulah every 2 days or so

Autism revved up and ready to go here’s some Flint headcanons

- Kicks his feet and stomps to stim

- Got lost the first time he went to a mainstream grocery store in SanFran Jose (like a Walmart or something)

- After working at Live Corp he now has the most specific coffee order known to man (If he went to Starbucks or whatever the label would have a paragraph worth of words on it)

- Has ASD, ADHD, ARFID, and probably developed some form of PTSD after the events of the movies.

- He lets Steve sleep on the bed with him despite him canonically having a pet bed for him.

- He can’t sleep without noise

- Can’t hear very well after all the explosions. Especially his right ear after the meatiroid (hc stolen from my gf)

- Also retconning the second film but he had to get his head completely shaven for sanitary/health reasons after the explosion. He stayed in the apartment for at least week and didn’t let anyone but Tim see him.

- he gives his emoticons noses (like “:-)” “:-0”)

- Cold all the time but hates the feeling of extra layers

- On the aroace spectrum

Hey fools I like MHA so have some Denki headcanons cuz I kinda kin him and hes awesome.

Note that I, as a person with a very weird attention span, cannot sit and focus well on reading the manga or sit through the anime. So maybe some of this stuff is directly disproved but leik, I'm having fun so you can't hurt me

-Denki has ADHD

-You can't tell me he doesn't just look at him. He stims with Ojiros tail. He just like me, an ADHD haver, fr fr.

-Denki also has dyslexia. Don't ask me why it just makes sense in my head

-He struggles with feeling used, yet he also only feels worthy when being used(the entire charger thing semi bugs me idk he even brings it up if I remember correctly)

-He has electrocution/lightning strike scars all along his body, some fainter then others but they're still there

-He probably has depression, even if its mild. Everyone in that class probably has some form of depression

-He has stunted brain development/some minor trauma to his brain due to his quirk frying his brain. I HC he used to be the smart kid in school and retains random bursts of knowledge.

-He is very physically affectionate, very open to hugs and people clinging to him. He also has a bit of an attachment issue. No I don't know why I think this I just do

-He and Bakugo are very stylish people and he tries to convince Bakugo to go shopping together because he kinda admired Bakugos style.

-He is close friends with literally the ENTIRE class

-He gives duos and groups in the class fun nicknames

-He is kinda like Deku in little self preservation, but he is deeply concerned about his friends. He beats himself up if he accidentally hurts them with his quirk

-He doesn't like the fact he has no control over the direction of the electricity

-He has gossip nights with Mina

-Momo tutors him and they became best buddies shortly after that started. Momo became like a mom friend towards him. They both kinda bond over that entire "I'm commonly taken advantage of because of my quirk" and she sticks up for him so he doesnt get taken advantage of

-I HC hes kinda low class. Not as bad as Ochako, but hes not extremely well off

-Bi king.

Me too, and I also headcanon him as having OCD and I believe you do as well?

Spamton feels like he would do hand flapping and rocking, two very typical stims for autism, but they fit his character (I do these too). I also liked something I reblogged on my main about him often biting himself or rubbing at his collarbone as a stim, he might rub at his cheekbones as a way to stim, maybe?

He'd also be quite vocal, like I am, making random noises like clicking noises or humming!

Midoriya Izuku has ADHD

Yes, I have ADHD and I'm projecting, but also, I believe he's shown some symptoms in canon for it. So, here is some evidence from canon along with some of my own headcanons about our favorite little ADHD broccoli boy!

Evidence:

Heroes, hero work, and quirks are his hyperfixation and he is easily able to hyperfocus on anything that has to deal with those subjects

He can hyperfocus hard enough to the point where he can ignore others around him as well as his own voice when he starts mumbling out loud

His mumbling helps him process his thoughts (I sometimes mumble as well to help myself process things)

He stims! He pulls at his lip, he uses exercise equipment, and he moves/plays with his hands especially when talking

He is mentally and physically hyperactive, constantly thinking about something or needing to do something

He experiences emotions strongly (yes, anyone can have strong emotions, but many people with ADHD also experience this)

He thinks about things in different ways compared to others (his metaphors for how to use OfA with the egg and the microwave were considered weird or different by All Might and Gran Torino)

He can easily become distracted by his own thoughts

Now for my headcanons! I'll put them under Read More so that this post doesn't go on forever. But if any of you have more headcanons or thoughts about this, I'd love to read them in reblogs or comments!

Headcanons:

He struggles with RSD (Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria) and often worries about losing his new friends or saying something wrong to drive them away

He gets really annoyed by boredom, often to the point where he can get upset or angry about it

To get rid of the angry bored feeling, he usually goes for a jog because it gives him something to do and the air and movement help clear his head

He has a collection of fidget cubes (his favorite fidget toy cuz he likes all the buttons) and they all have prints/designs of various pro heroes

As a kid, he would get picked on for using fidget toys in class, so he now hides his stimming (yes, he also obviously got bullied for being quirkless, but kids can be mean and can pick on others for more than one reason)

Todoroki, being fairly close to his desk in class, notices his stimming with a fidget cube and mentions it to the rest of the Dekusquad

This leads them to find out about his pro hero fidget cube collection, so to show their love and support for him, they get a bunch of plain colored fidget cubes so they can paint their own costume designs on the cubes for him to add to his collection

Toshinori finds out about this and knowing that Midoriya must already have several variations of All Might inspired fidget cubes, he decides to paint one with Deku's own hero costume design

This spreads to the rest of the class and even Aizawa and Present Mic, who design a fidget cube together with Eraserhead's design (Midoriya most definitely has a Present Mic cube already)

They eventually finish all 20+ fidget cubes and leave them in Midoriya's dorm room, and when he returns from a jog to see all these customized fidget cubes, he starts crying because it's so sweet!

Hello, there darling nonny!

This is not an odd request at all! Although reader inserts should always be as blank a slate as possible, diverse reader inserts are always especially needed and appreciated in my opinion. Racial, ethnic, LGBTQIA, gender, and neurodiversity representation can be extremely powerful.

To receive a diagnosis is freeing for some and nerve-wracking for others. But you are lucky, there are lots of resources that can help you, Tumblr and otherwise (which I will reblog with links that I know of).  Sorry, this took a while, I was nervous to take this on. Since symptoms can be so different for every person and trying not to be accidentally ableist, yada yada ya. And if I get anything wrong or offensive, someone please correct me. Don’t be afraid to dm me with anything you have to say or to let me know. Drag me gently. 

Anyways, onto the headcanons! I will do both!

For the Beatles...

John: I imagine John would blink a lot. You would be scared he would make fun of you or leave you at once. He does not. You’re still shaking so badly you don’t know what he will say. So finally he smiles. He asks lots of quiet questions about it. If you were sensitive to sounds, he would even play his guitar a little quieter just for you when you were around. If you got antsy somewhere and stimmed by rubbing your hands or tapping your foot he would play “footsie” with you. He would help you with anything involving hand-eye coordination like silly carnival games and then give you the prize.

 Paul: Paul would be the most mother like and protective at first. But he would soon relax. You communicate to him that it’s too much and he relaxes. Both of you love routines and you find ways to work together where you even gossip about so and so while brushing your teeth. Sometimes you ask “Paul…am I being too awkward? I know I’m awkward, I’m so nervous.” So he will put an arm around you and call you “me dove,” and do something to charm and relax you. He often buys gifts relating to your special interests. He flat out spoils you on Christmas and your birthday! He would also check your mail, destroying any ableist letters from jealous fans. You feel like he is your safe haven and you are his.

 George: You tell him on a beautiful day in a flower garden on a picnic. You rest your head on his lap and he strokes your hair softly. Geroge would understand if you are more shy and quiet like he is. Though if you are more boisterous he has a way of calming you down. If you get worked up emotionally, he often takes you walking into the garden to relax a little. He is a cuddler so you put on the movie that’s been invading your thoughts and cuddle with blankets a lot. Once (at a slower point, let’s face it, you knew the script backward and forwards) you made a game of throwing strawberries into each other face and catching it with your mouths open and it was hysterical. He always knows how to make you relaxed and happy.

 Ringo: Both of you would get emotional when you tell. You love him so much and you’re scared he will leave you because he’s in a popular band. But he doesn’t. He tears up because you trust him so much. “You don’t think I’m some…I don’t know, some monster?” “Monster! No- God, Y/N! You’re not a monster! You’re the bloody opposite! You’re an angel! Always! That doesn’t change anything!” He might misunderstand certain things but you correct him and he corrects himself (“But didn’t you cry at that song?” “I can still cry! I feel empathy,” “Oh, okay.”). Though he would sometimes forget and even brag about you (never discussing your diagnosis without your clear consent) because he would be very starry-eyed and lovey-dovey over you. Despite the newness of the term even, he still kisses the ground you walk on. He just learns to be careful.

 Now for Queen...

Freddie (platonically): You keep trying to find a time to tell him, but he is always incredibly busy. He is like a bee, bustling about. But the time you get him to sit down, you tell him. He gets you some tea and one of his cats comes up and curls next to you, purring. Though, somehow some words got around, even if Freddie got his mouth shut. A staff member overheard perhaps. At one party there was an ableist asshole who heard the word and went up to you. “So Y/N, you don’t look…” “Y/N looks like a divine creature of Roman mythology, don’t you agree darling?” he would swoop in with a wink. You love attending parties. If you’re more introverted you feel comfortable, and if extraverted you know you can be yourself. Fred is the king of that. He is a gay immigrant and empathizes with you for being different, but encouraging you to be unapologetically yourself as he is.

 Roger: Like with Ringo, you were scared when you “Came out” to Roger due to him being the drummer of an incredible band and how the fans would view you. You would go on a drive in his favorite car. Then ask him to park. And then you tell him. He would hug you at first and you would smile. He helps you to stand up for yourself if someone is being dismissive. Though he might fist sight any ableist who messes with you. He would love to hear you talk about your special interests and passions and have all sorts of conversations about it. He drums in a special place so it’s not a sensory overload- he even gets you a small headset with your favorite records with a note reading “for Y/N, my sweet love, Rog.” Though if you love to listen to it at full blast he will place you on his lap and play. He would also never mind all of the one-sided conversations and know how to talk with you. I mean, the man turns girls to gravy with one look so imagine what dating him would do!

 Brian: He would be the most scientific and the most technical when you tell him. When you come out, the conversation after is like a trip to a very sweet, empathetic doctor. But he can in a way relate. He has a variety of things he is passionate about. He has a lot of in-depth knowledge but he forgets the car keys (which you always have in your pocket and will return to him for one kiss). He can be considered an eccentric, and you feel like you are eccentric. But he smiles and tells you “just be your lovely self, Y/N.” If you stim, you love playing with his hair and he lets you. He would never talk you down and patiently re-explain things if need be. If you don’t feel like looking into his eyes, he will at least stand by you and maybe hold your hand if you want to. Even when you get depressed or anxious, just a quiet night of stargazing with your favorite guitarist reminds you how happy and lucky you truly are.

 John: He is a total sweetie and completely accepting. If you are the type that is clumsy he will love to catch you and then hold on, saying something cheeky like “if you wanted to dance with me you should have asked.” He is quieter but sometimes makes sure his gestures are a little more clear so you understand. He would also like to learn about your own passions and even fix your tv when it broke and you wanted to watch a show that was special to you. He is so sweet and calming if you get anxious or depressed. He would make you cheese on toast, peppered with buttery, crumby kisses, and talk through things with you. He tells you he is going to write a song. You’re nervous. What if he says something insulting by accident. But just a song to play when you get stressed or upset. So the day you are brought into the studio with tape and the first few lines of “You’re My Best Friend” churn out (btw if you’re not fem! identifying, imagine Deaky switched the pronouns), you’re in happy tears.
