They miss you.
For past week you have been login into the game only to do commissions and changing Resin into Condensed one (or quickly doing domains or Ley Lines if you already had 5 of them).
They hoped that with the new regions of Fontaine you will be playing more, you will take them to get chests, do puzzles, find Oculi and enjoy the scenery like always. But no, you didn’t even unlocked all the new waypoints, only two or three, so they couldn’t help but wonder
"Are you getting tired of them?"
They tried to be patient but the more time passed the more they were feeling worried.
Till that one day you logged and they could hear you talking to them like sometimes you did before. “Finally we can go check those new places, right?” The team you were using lately was happy, but they couldn’t do anything that would make you aware that they are conscious about you and this ‘world’, so they had to contain their smiles after hearing your voice.
And yet, the more you were looking around with them and fight the enemies the more silent you become again, till you stopped moving them at some point.
They wondered if you left for moment to bring food or something to drink but then they heard it.
Your muffled sobs
“What happened? Why are you crying? Did you get hurt? ” those questions were swarming in their heads and they couldn’t do anything.
Through your sobs they could hear “I can’t stop thinking about it”
What are you thinking about?
If only they could do something for you, comfort you, tell that everything will be alright.
But they can’t.
No matter how much they love you.
They can’t do anything for you.
You took them to a safe place, mumbling that you didn't feel like playing anymore and logged off.
They are alone again, knowing that you’re sad.
Maybe it’s really time to try bring you here, where they will be able to protect you and make you smile every day.
It's been more than two years since Inazuma and I'm finally starting to appreciate Yae.
I think what threw me off was thinking of her as a trickster (although she is one as well) and what helped was thinking of her in terms of DnD alignments.
Yae is chaotic evil, and I don't mean it in a judgmental way, only in the way that her "meanness" is not a funny quirk, it's pretty much core to her character.
She's openly sadistic and she only does things for her own entertainment. She only behaves because of Ei, that beautiful trope of a fox falling in love with someone principled. Wrecking too much chaos would upset Ei so she plays nice.
Also I'm not even sure she's good influence on Ei most of the time. Evil fox advisor/courtesan is a Trope.
At the same time she's innocent in the way all yokai are innocent. She loves power in such self-gratuitous way, but she also loves mysteries of the universe and she's one of them.
I hate her. She's precious to me.
She also has the prettiest love confession I've ever seen.
"Let me tell you all that has happened over the last few centuries. [...] It will probably take me another few centuries to relay it to you."
We "liberated" Inazuma and left it with a lovely duo of a lawful evil ruler with a chaotic evil advisor/lover. Yay. The Traveler is a nice person indeed.
I love how you explained Fowler reaction honestly is freaking hilarious. Do you think sometimes he be saddled with sparkling sitting the kiddos and the bots being like it’s an honour but now he got them trying to chew/explore his office if they fit in it.
It's most definitely an honor, and they're sore losers that it's the resident human the sparklings are constantly napping around.
Less of a babysitter because that implies Agent Fowler does direct care for the sparklings. He's more like a Sleep Supervisor or manager, considering he's the one yelling at the 'bots to leave the kids alone from their snoozing. He's not surprised that Ratchet is the one that gives him the hardest time. The medic holds grudges like no one else.
Agent Fowler is a man that's willing to work with giant, metal aliens, but he's only a man and a mortal one to boot. He draws a line on magical bullshit.
And by that, he doesn't question too much about how the kids managed to dig a deep, dark hole beneath his desk. He doesn't. He looks the other way on how the reinforced cots had disappeared and the distant happy squeaky sounds of Miko's squishmallow beneath his feet. What he does is place down two sturdy planks for his own comfort because it's discombobulating to be seated and dangling at his own desk and, with Jack's help, set up a camera down below.
One, keeps an eye on the sparklings. Two, gives him peace of mind as it becomes a comfort AMSR for the 'bots.
He didn't think that ancient aliens would use emoticons, but here is his life: getting notifications of 💞 🥲😚🤫🥺🐶🐱🐥 and binary code.
Of course, Bumblebee discovered GIFs. RIP Agent Fowler's notifications because now the 'bots comb through media to apply their feelings on the sight from anime to popular kids movies to reality TV to nature documentaries.
(Optimus posted a screenshot of owl fledglings, and it's on point. The kids' optics reflect, and, for some reason, the kids look fluffy down below.
Agent Fowler preemptively silences his cell when June Darby hands over a basket of hooded blankets. The entire base had a collective 'Awwww' moment. He went deaf for a moment.
You try not to panic.
When you woke up you were greeted by blue sky and not by ceiling of your room.
You were lying on the grass and when you sat up, you felt the breeze caressing your skin.
You wanted to think that this is a dream, but you can feel too much for to be it. The texture of grass, the cold breeze, the smell of some flowers and trees, the sounds of birds and other animals.
But how did you end up here?
Looking around you feel like you do recognize this place but you’re not sure from where.
And then you heard footsteps behind you and someone calling you, the voice of one of your most favorite character.
-“I’m glad you’re alright (Y/n).” You turned around to see the team you use most of time when you play Genshin. “Is this is real?” you asked yourself, not believing that they stand now in front of you. They slowly approached you, probably not wanting to scare you. They smiled and held out their hand to you.
-“You don’t have to be afraid, I won’t let anything bad happened to you.” they said. You slowly placed your hand in theirs, feeling the warmth of another living being. “So this has to be real…but how?” you can’t help but wonder.
-“Welcome in Teyvat (Y/n).” they smiled again, holding onto your hand.
You smiled back but deep inside you felt uncomfortable, like something is not right. You should be happy to be here but you can’t stop thinking… how did you end up here in first place?
I think people should consider more ideas about why Breakdown and Bulkhead hate each other so much that isn't "Breakdown betrayed the Wreckers" because there are so many more things that could have happened, and here are some of my ideas:
>They fought 1v1 once because Breakdown was just being Breakdown, but after being beat, he kept trying to win against Bulkhead, starting a rivalry between the two.
>Breakdown wants to kill every one of the Wreckers but this one guy just won't die and he has to stick to his list of Wreckers in the order he wrote them in.
>Following up from that, Breakdown killing several of the canonically deceased Wreckers mentioned by Wheeljack and Bulkhead in Prime, making Bulkhead want to avenge their deaths.
>Cross-faction dating gone wrong (**not clickbait**)
>Secretly started meeting up as buddies during the war, but then Bulkhead found out about messed up shit Breakdown had done and they started to fight as enemies rather than secret friends.
>Met each other during a heated Autobot-Decepticon bar fight. Then they saw each other on the battlefield and beat each other up again.
>Friends before the war and wanted to stay friends during the war despite being on opposite sides, but then once again, Bulkhead seeing the things Breakdown did during the war.
>A bit boring but most likely; Stunticons and Wreckers just being rival teams in the war. No personal feelings they all just hate each other because they're the same team on opposite sides.
