One Dress a Day - bonus challenges
Not-a-Dress November
Dracula: Dead and Loving It - Mina Seward (Amy Yasbeck)
I feel like this is kind of cheating on the ‘not-a-dress’ thing, because this nightgown might as well be a dress! It has a 1930s feel to it, with its fitted upper half and bias cut flared skirt. Unusually, it’s a nightdress that she has to dance in, so they made sure it would move beautifully. The morning after, she pairs it with a pretty but impractical-looking shawl!

People have been talking about where Jonathan has been now, but let's talk about the others too.
-From April 16 to May 1 Mina Murray has learned that her boyfriend has passed his exams, she got engaged to him (maybe after his visit to her school), and kissed him goodbye. On May 2 she's probably thinking of writing a letter to Lucy because she misses her.
-Lucy Westenra is probably busy discreetly seeing a curly-haired man. Apparently, she's seen, because Mina later says that she heard rumors and wants all the deets.
-Arthur Holmwood is busy being rich and curly-haired.
-Jack Seward is to propose to Lucy soon. He's busy with his work as the asylum director, busy being fixated on a patient, busy being anxious about how his proposal will go because he relies on it going well to turn around a rather lonely, unhappy life.
-Quincey Morris is to propose to Lucy soon. He's sure if he emphasizes his Texasness he'll get a head start on his two friends. He's a little anxious but if she picks Arthur it won't be the end of the world, even if he likes her a lot.
-Abraham van Helsing is caught in a miserable routine. His life is an empty existence, he thinks. There's no future for old men. He's been hanging on to his love for his job for a long time now, but for how long?
-R. M. Renfield hasn't been okay in a while, but he can feel it. Something is happening, something will come to make all his dreams come true.
-Count Dracula is waiting for a young solicitor who can't speak the local language, who will be arriving any time now, and then all his ambitions will come true.

As a long-time fan of Stoker's book, Daily Dracula has me absolutely stoked because after decades of movie and TV adaptations slipping further and further from Stoker's work, and watering down Count Dracula's character into a generic romantic vampire and his enemies into milquetoast Victorian twats, the Internet is rediscovering that "Dracula" is really about a Victorian D&D party going full murderhobo on a megalomaniacal vampire supervillain as revenge for vamping their polycule sweetheart.

Somehow Re:Dracula has made the polycule even more believable to me then before. I was fully onboard with it last year but this year I'm even more on board with it.
Jonathan and his wife Mina and Mina’s girlfriend Lucy and Lucy’s husband Arthur and their boyfriends Quincey and Jack and Jack’s sugar daddy Van Helsing-
