hot take: everybody crucifies Rory for transforming from Little Miss Perfect into somebody real, somebody who fucks up and makes mistakes and yes, regrets them. now if Rory had been a man...and Gilmore Girls had been a ‘serious’ show (read: had been a show about 2 men instead)...it would be hailed for a brutally realistic portrayal of ‘coming-of-age’. that’s all I’m saying.

I flew through Lauren Graham’s Talking As Fast As I Can ✨ The book is funny, heartfelt, nostalgic, and full of references, just like Gilmore Girls. I love Gilmore Girls, so reading the last chapter about Lauren’s experience filming A Year in the Life brought tears to my eyes.
