"By the end of the nineteenth century, Ontario mining policy had come full circle from the old monarchical royal metal reservation system, through a period of free mining, and back to strict, centralized regulation featuring separation of surface from subsurface rights, retention of the latter by the crown, and the imposition of royalties. In his subsequent modifications of the royalty clause and reduction of sale prices, Hardy claimed that the government was nonetheless maintaining "the basic policy, which it had been following since 1891, of combining the principle of inducements to mining with the principle of obtaining a financial return to the public." Over James Conmee's objection that the royalty robbed the prospector of his rights, another Commissioner of Crown Lands contended that "the community should have some interest in such a find," and defended the government's policy on the premise that the public ought "to participate in the benefits of this mineral wealth." Liberal party campaign literature for the 1898 general election proudly elaborated the government's efforts on the one hand to force speculators already in the possession of mineral lands to work them, and on the other to lighten the difficult burdens borne by bona fide prospectors, justifying the modest (and at that time temporarily suspended) royalty with the claim: "Practically, only the 'bounty of nature' is taxed." The principle that a portion of the "bounty of nature" properly belonged to the public had become one of the basic political values, opposed only by those with special vested interests. Experience with the timber industry had been especially formative in this regard in the sense that it suggested that crown ownership and control of the resource was the best means of asserting this principle. Industry received as favourable terms and relatively free access to the resources as had been found to be compatible with regulatory supervision in the interest of the public and the public revenues. By establishing control over mineral resources rendered both accessible and valuable by a technological revolution, the government of Ontario consciously strove towards a balance between private rights and public responsibilities like that already struck with the forest industry."

Fellow dommes, I would like to share a new thing I recently discovered that I think you should try out. We all know how nice the possessiveness of saying "you're mine" to your sub can be. Making them say "I'm yours", or cooing/growling "you're mine" into their ear while they're so deep into subspace all they can do is smile and moan. I've even seen a post making the rounds of growling "I'm yours" into your subs ears as you use them mercilessly. Remind them that only they get receive this treatment.
I see these acts of consensual possession and raise you the notion of ordering your sub to say "you're mine" to you as you make them cum. Holding their eye contact right before you push them over the edge and growl "what am I, kitten? Say it. Say I'm yours."
"You're mine?" they'll of course be initially confused, but press the idea, and as you do, push them over the edge.
"Again."
"You're mine" This time a little more confidence behind the statement.
"That's right... Again."
"You're mine" Finally getting the idea, and realizing it feels amazing.
"Again!"
"You're mine... you're mine... you're mine..."
By this point you can just watch and enjoy as they begin to chant it with the biggest smile on their face, all while orgasming in a way that they haven't before. A different kind of intensity. Continue to make them cum as they passively repeat "you're mine" over and over and over, letting the pleasure and chanting hypnotize them into a state of pure bliss. I promise you, it will give you a form of confidence in your domming entirely separate from claiming them and it feels utterly intoxicating 💕

I feel a lot of belief that “trans women obviously have it worse than trans men” it comes from assuming men & women are opposites & that their experiences must be opposite as well. As in, if trans women experience one thing, trans men must experience the opposite—but that’s not how it works in practice. Trans women are demonized and sexualized doesn’t mean trans men aren’t as well. Trans women feeling less safe after transition doesn’t mean trans men feel more safe. And transmasculinity being considered disgusting mutilation doesn’t translate to the opposite for transfemininity! I just wish we would stop comparing experiences as though they can be quantified & pitted against one another.

By the time I looked up, the sign was already fading, but I could still make out the hologram of green light, spinning and gleaming. A three-tipped spear: a TRIDENT... "My father?" I asked, completely bewildered. "Poseidon," said Chiron. "Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses."

"BIG STRIKE ON RANGER CLAIM AT RICE LAKE," Winnipeg Tribune. December 12, 1913. Page 2. --- New Vein of Rich Gold Quartz Ten Feet Wide Extending for 1,500 Feet Opened Up ---- A discovery of great importance to the mining industry in Manitoba has just been brought to light from the big Rice Lake mining district, which is situated in Northeastern Manitoba. On the Ranger claim, owned by the Manitoba Mining and Exploration company, Charles Andrews, who who is in charge of development work for that company, reports the opening up of a new and highly mineralized vein at least 10 feet in width, extending across the full 1,500 feet width of the claim and carrying high values in gold. Specimens from this vein shown by Mr. Andrews at the Dominion hotel are of the best, containing numerous showings of free gold in a very favorable quality of quartz.
Specimens, from this discovery are also being shown at the St. Regis hotel and are very highly spoken of by the various mining then who are stopping there and who are actively interested in the district. W. K. Harding, mining engineer, who is organizing the Manitoba Mining and Exploration company, states that extensive development work is already under consideration to be commenced as soon as the winter freighting of supplies across Lake Winnipeg can be undertaken.
This new discovery is of great importance as it is situated over three miles from what was formerly considered the richest part of the district. it means the opening up of an entirely new part of the big Rice Lake district and the adding of several square miles of territory to the already large gold producing area.
The Ranger claim was discovered and staked about a year ago by Mr. Andrews, who has been occupied in prospecting work in the district for the last two years and has personally made and been connected with some of the best discoveries made there. The rich showings to the north of the Hole river on the Hilma claims are among the list of his discoveries.
General progress in the district is continuing with highly satisfactory results. Six shafts are now sunk to a considerable depth and in every case results have been exceptionally favorable. Scarcely any other mining district in Canada can show such a record at a corresponding stage in its development. Arrangements are being completed to operate an efficient freighting road into the district from Manigotagan, on the east shore of Lake Winnipeg, a distance of thirty miles. This will be of great assistance and a saving in expense to all the mines of the district.

Steve and Robin need to be closer in fic. They are peak platonic. That means Naked no longer has any connection to Sex for them. Just bodies. And since they are one person, of course they're weirdly close about body stuff too.
If Robin freaks out that her boobs look weird, Steve for sure ends up first, bringing Robin porno mags, and when that doesn't make Robin calm down, yes, she's tits out, demanding that he give her an impartial opinion. Steve goes camping with Dustin, somehow ends up with a tick in his pubes, can't see to get rid of it, and yes, of course he calls Robin for help. Of Course she shows up with tweezers and too much information about lyme disease. Robin finds out Steve as a set of moles that look like Orion next to is dick, and uses it as a nickname to remind him that she has his back through anything. Steve has absolutely talked Robin down from the brink because sex ed is garbage in America, and she thought all discharge meant she had an std or something.
Grossly close. That is what I want to see more of. No boundaries, no borders, and so platonic that any potential sexual undertones of what they're doing doesn't even occur to them.
