Meet Mariposa Juvera! An MJ variant who despises being called MJ and has issues with her self identity as a result, after learning about the multiverse and the various other MJs.

An inconsistent person, they're a quiet and serious art student without a lot of friends and a struggle to express themselves. She gets bitten by a radioactive spider and after discovering their powers, realize they have a chance to fully embrace her more chaotic tendencies and fully embrace themselves in an explosion of colours!

Becoming the chaotic and smart mouthed Ladybird, armed with different coloured webs and paint bombs, she protects others and continues to discover more things about herself.

Introducing: Aaronymous’s Spiders!

So I kind of went ham recently and made a whole Spider-Verse of OCs! And I wanted to share them all and a brief description of them!

Spider-Man/Aaron Allan ( Spider-Sona )

Living as the first Spider-Man of Earth 5169’s Minneapolis near the end of the 2010’s, Aaron Allan ( formerly Liz Allan ) was bitten by a radioactive Spiny Orb-Weaver when he was 14 years old. After his 15th birthday he became the one and only ( at the time… ) Spider-Man! Aaron and by proxy, the other Spiders of his universe are barred entry from the society, despite the anomalies and other Spider-People they have encountered. All three of them are aware of the Spider Society, but are forced to, and choose to keep their distance.

Silk/Cindy Moon

Earth 5169’s Minneapolis’ second Spider-Person is Silk, who was bitten just minutes after Aaron Allan. Although she stayed in the shadows and kept her powers under wrap for a lot longer than her counterpart. Silk took a much more aggressive approach in her vigilante work, and even after agreeing to work with Spider-Man as a team she generally keeps to herself and works with the detective side of the job.

Spider-Man/Miles Morales

The third and final Spider-Person of Earth 5169, injesting the last vial of the spider’s venom through circumstances he, Aaron and Cindy aren’t exactly keen on retelling. Miles is the youngest Spider of the group and originally masqueraded as Spider-Man using his newfound powers, unknowingly helping Aaron fight the Spider-Man allegations. Quickly being discovered and trained by the established Spiders to become his own Spider-Man!

Spider-Man/Peter Parker

After an experiment “gone wrong” in a college class with Professor Miles Warren, Peter and his two classmates of Earth 20008, residing in Milwaukee were given the abilities of a spider! This Peter Parker sharing similarities to the Peter of Earth 5169, yet remaining very different in many ways. He was the second of the trio to step up to the mantle and is on the more tech side of things, although he helps with heroics it’s infrequent due to his chronic pain. Peter and the two other Spiders of his universe have been with the Spider Society for a while, although Peter himself isn’t too involved of the politics of it all. Their entry mostly being on Peter due to him being a very common variant.

Spider-Woman/Mary Jane Watson

Along with Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy on Earth 20008, MJ was a victim to an “accidental” mishap in an experiment. And was the last Spider to step up with this superhero business, and she remains skeptical and a little bit depressed. She bares similarities to Earth 5169’s MJ, but hasn’t fully gone through her journey of self discovery yet, and feels heartbroken after her crush Gwen Stacy starts dating Peter Parker. Little does she know, eventually she’ll come into her own and be happy as well. Mary Jane is pretty involved with the Spider Society and often takes most of the missions on behalf of the three of them, as an escape from the heartbreak and pain of her world.

Spider-Girl/Gwen Stacy

Gwen Stacy was the first Spider of Earth 20008 and is definitely the most eager, and in some ways is egotistical in her role as Spider-Girl. She still has a lot of work to do in improving herself, but that’s yet to come. Gwen is the muscle of the group and is also the most controversial Spider in the media, which has never bothered her. The real thing that bothers her is how much her best friend MJ is drifting and her own family problems. Gwen Stacy is in the Spider Society, but very vocally dislikes it and Miguel, and usually is only a member to deal with anomalies in her own universe. Sometimes she meets up with the other Gwen’s for lunch but that’s about it.

Emerald-Spider/Emilio Hoang

Fighting crime in London’s near future on Earth 996-B is Emilio Hoang, a mysterious and distant vigilante who views his job as more of a burden than a blessing, and hasn’t truly begun to appreciate the good work he’s done. Emilio also has a budding rivalry with the other Spider of his world which is revealing both his insecurities and his secret pride of his job. Emilio is a pawn of the Spider Society and often spends more time away than in his own universe, to escape the problems he deals with and the recent changes in his life becoming an adult and moving away and all.

The Spider/Asher Holmes ( AU Spider )

Fighting crime in the fictional town and country of Twin Capes City, Osclar is Asher Holmes of Earth 2051-A in the near future. His title doesn’t include “Man” or any indication of humanity for a reason, as Asher Holmes purposely makes his superhero persona appear more animalistic and robotic as a form of self-sabotage. A cruel punishment he’s given himself. And his abilities of crime fighting have become uniform and robotic in response. As a part of the Spider Society, he is one of Miguel’s righthand men, although the existence of a universe where his best friend Nyx Dixon is alive and well as Spider-Woman is kept secret from him with worries it will cause his loyalties to waver or for his mental state to officially snap…

Goldweaver/Liz Allan

Living in New York City of Earth 24-200 in the Early 2000s is Liz Allan, an accomplished and popular student at Empire State University. Although she may appear perfect, she struggles with balancing her social life, perfect grades and her crime fighting as Goldweaver, which she has been using as an atonement for the bullying she used to do in High School to a girl named Petra Parker, who eventually becomes the Venom of her universe. Liz Allan works closely with the Spider Society, and often teams up with Jessica Drew on missions. She definitely takes Miguel’s side as she believes that similarly to him, he is only taking accountability for his past mistakes and she strives to support that, although being around so many variants of Petra all the time makes her feel incredibly guilty.

Orbweaver/Nancy Ghoul

Nancy Ghoul is the one and only Orbweaver of Yorkshire and it’s surrounding cities. She lives in the 80s, during the rise of goth subculture on Earth 8989-80. As Orbweaver she fights crime and performs music, but as Nancy Ghoul, she’s simply a goth living on the streets and trying to make ends meat in Margaret Thatcher’s England. And what makes it even more difficult is the supervillains that the government refuses to properly deal with and prevent, which Orbweaver is forced to fight on her own. Orbweaver is often sent out on missions for the Spider Society but she doesn’t spend too much time hanging out around HQ or making friends, as she’s too worried about the situation her own world is in.

Night Stalker/Owen Sawyer

Owen Sawyer lives in an authoritarian USA in the early 2010s, where he appears as a vigilante of the people, but secretly works with the CIA to eliminate the countries revolutionaries and enemies, painting them as supervillains and changing the narrative. Owen Sawyer takes the identity of Night Stalker, moving around from city to city on Earth 9-DD. He’s weaseled his way into the Spider Society and presents a genuine threat that has remained under the radar.

Scarlet Spinstress/Lena Murray

Lena Murray lives in an alternate early 1900s New York, where she isn’t known as a hero, but as a myth. A ghost almost, and by many is considered, if real, a murderer. Lena believes that she is true justice and takes out her rulings with lethal force as the Scarlet Spinstress. Maybe of her judgements are correct, but the punishments given to her “villains” is far from acceptable. In the Spider Society she knows that many of her fellow spider people would never accept her use of lethal force so she lies and keeps her battles with “villains” fantastical and typical spider battle fare.

Spider-Grrrl/Tobi Emily

Tobi Emily is controversial, heel stomping, crime fighter of Earth R-17. Her base of operations is in Olympia. Although her Spider-Grrrl alter ego doesn’t make music, she does fight crime and acts as a political figurehead in the feminist movement of the 1990s. Tobi Emily on the other hand is a lead singer of a Riot Grrrl band called The Webheads and a vocal feminist and gay rights activist. She’s apart of the Spider Society although she’s mostly regulated to dealing with anomalies in her universe due to the countless fights she gets in at HQ.

Arachnida/Billie Morales

Arachnida lives in Earth 47’s New York City in the 2030s or so, despite her name and sisterlike relationship with Annie Parker, she wouldn’t know who Miles or Peter are, or who most mainline Spider-Man characters are, although that doesn’t mean they don’t exist in her universe. Billie and her adopted sister Annie were bitten by the same radioactive spider during a middle school fieldtrip and now fight crime as Arachnida and Spinneret respectively. Arachnida is the head of the operation and the two have amazing teamwork due to the fact that they basically raised eachother in fostercare. Now with the two of them in High School, they are trying to uncover the mystery of their abandonment and the origin of their spider powers.

Spinneret/Annie Parker

Annie Parker is the second half of the Arachnida and Spinneret duo and is a lot less interested in the mystery of her and Billie’s past than Billie is. Billie is her sister, and they fight crime together, and that’s about all that matters. Due to Billie’s recent obsession with uncovering their shared mysteries, Annie has drifted away more and has secretly become a member of the Spider Society without telling Billie, and she’d like to keep it that way. She’s gotten a few leads on their pasts through this method but has kept them from Billie on purpose, which may or may not cause some problems between them in the future…

So! That is all my sillies for now, yes I know it’s a lot but what did you expect- I have like 200 OCs in my Osclar universe alone. I hope you found these guys somewhat interesting! After this masterpost here I’m probably going to vary which ones I post about, although Aaron will probably remain front and center since he’s my Spider-Sona. So, Spiderverse OCs are hot right now, so here's my concept; a Spider-Lizard.

So Curt Connors becomes The Lizard as usual, but later in his universe's timeline than most. He faces an older, more experienced Peter, one in the ~15 years of experience range.

Having faced foes such as Venom and Harry's Green Goblin, this Spider-Man knows that these kinds of people are victims rather than villains. Instead of fighting the Lizard immediately, like most other versions do, this Spider-Man manages to calm the frightened and hungry reptilian humanoid by luring him into a meat packing plant.

It takes time. For nearly a month, Peter dedicated himself entirely to his new friend. Helping the Lizard understand the world he'd suddenly been thrown into, helping him understand who Dr. Curt Connors had been- and who he was now, what part he was of their new, strange existence. Introducing, or perhaps reintroducing, Martha and Billy.

Holding him, as best as the hero could, when she had fled and it had hurt so much and he didn't know why.

Cheering when he discovered how to wall-crawl, started to understand the letters on the page.

When he asked why, why this strange arachnid-man was so determined to help- even after his jaws had inflicted a new scar during an unfortunate incident with an ambulance's sirens in the second week. His response was a speech about responsibility and the power of care.

He hadn't understood it, so Spider-Man took him on patrol. JJ had a field day, the humans panicked, Peter lost a great deal of the goodwill he had built. He didn't regret it.

The Lizard saved a man that day. He saved a man and his daughter the next. A woman and son the day after that. Their fear of him was distressing, but some part of him- some part of Curt, Peter believed- relaxed, for lack of a better word. His scales felt better, finally felt right, as Curt's dream of helping them was fulfilled- albeit not in the way he had intended.

The wrong feeling still reared its head occasionally, usually when he was feeding particularly voraciously or when he'd try to read and find himself unable to; but it became less and less frequent as time went by. It also reminded him to wear pants, which was admittedly very useful.

It was only a few weeks after he'd met Mary Jane. Peter had introduced them, and despite her early over-fascination with his teeth and claws, they had quickly become very good friends.

A bond that held them together at the funeral.

He still didn't really understand humans. He didn't understand why Peter felt such responsibility for them, despite their mercurial treatment of his good deeds.

But he hoped to learn.

And so Spider-Man raised his hackles, swished his tail, and prepared to teach himself something new.

So that's a brief origin story for my Spiderman OC.

In terms of his appearance, he closely resembles most other Lizard variants but has Red and Blue spider-shorts with a Spidey utility belt akin to the one from the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon, and a makeshift "bandanna" made from the chest of Peter's Spidey suit around his neck (spider symbol on full display of course).

In terms of powers, his power set is identical to that of your standard Lizard, including enhanced strength, wall crawling, durable scales and a potent healing factor. His unique 'power' is a supply of web grenades that he uses to restrain criminals.

These Grenades are supplied by MJ, who acts as his techie and on-the-ground investigator (much like she does in the insomnia games, but to a greater degree due to spider-lizard's lizardiness). They attempted web slingers, but they proved difficult for him to use due to his bulky frame and lack of dexterity.

This Spider-Man is absolutely on the rougher end of the spidey / public relationship spectrum, often hunted by police and living in abandoned houses and factories. JJ has a very easy job painting him as the villain not only for his appearance but for his mannerisms. This Lizard is not just Peter Parker or Dr. Connors but scaly; he eats like a lizard, has a territory like a lizard- invading which won't get you hurt, but will nonetheless be a very unenjoyable experience- and very difficult for people to read, making his actions seem unpredictable.

Nonetheless, he is slowly growing a rapport with the people he protects, especially amongst the mutant population of New York.

hiii!! apologies for not being familiar with your ocs, but are Rhyan Parker, Rian Parker, and Ryan Parker the multiverse variants of the same character?? asking since i noticed that they all have the same last name as well as similar first ones <33 also if you could give me some information on all three of them that would be awesome aksdkas (im sorry for asking but i wasn't sure from toggling their character tags :((

Yes, they're the same variant of each other!

Rhyan is in the Sam Raimi universe with Tobey's Spider Man as her twin brother. She gets bit by the same spider and becomes Spinnerett. Her costume is white and blue. She dates Harry Osborn (who I recast as Hayden Christensen) and is good friends with Mary Jane. In the third movie, where they fight against Venom and Harry's Green Goblin, She ends up dying from a pumpkin bomb blast on her own terms. Peter accepts this, but it still hurts him incredibly because it was her choice to save the day.

Rian is in Webb's universe with Andrew's Spider Man as her twin brother and is the ex girlfriend of Harry Osborn. She is just a normal girl who has a dream of being a fashion designer and she even made up concept art of what her brothers suit should look like and she actually makes his suit for the second movie. During the second movie, she befriends Max Dillion since she helps out at Oscorp with Gwen. She meets up with Harry who still isn't over the fact that they broke up because she always chose her brother over him and has a small resentment against Peter for that but still loves him as a friend. At the end of the movie, Gwen goes to Europe as planned and its up to Rian and Peter to stop Electro who knocked out the power grid. But then Harry comes in, mutated from the serum that turned him into the Green Goblin. With a pumpkin bomb, Rian falls from the platform on the clock tower and Peter catches her with a web. But Harry attacks Peter and the clock tower gears break, clipping the web that held Rian and she dies in the same manner that Gwen does in the movie.

Ryan is in the MCU with Tom's Spider Man and is a human who created her own rocket boots and got the Stark Internship. In Infinity War, she receives her own suit that's purple and black with a white Spider on the front and back. She gets separated from Peter when they enter space on the ship when trying to save Doctor Strange and the Guardians and Thor find her. She then meets up with Peter, Tony, and Strange on Titan, where they face down Thanos. During the fight, she jumps on the gauntlet to try and remove the Power stone as he uses it on Tony to bring down the moon to crush him. Using the stone created a blast and it shoots her back, with tendrils lingering around her body. Her body absorbed the blast and granted her with abilities such as creating force fields and being able to replicate powers from those around her. In No Way Home, she meets Peter's variants, who are all flabbergasted, especially Andrew's Peter, because before them, their sister alive and well. Then on the Statue of Liberty, she uses her powers to protect MJ from the pumpkin bomb blast and she ends up falling which calls for Andrew's Peter to save her.

Spiderman naming scheme ramble

Yo, I swear I’m working on chapter 3 of the hobie fic, but I may or may not have gotten super distracted talking to myself and I needed to get these thoughts down and I didn’t wanna bother my friends with them because they’re sick of me talking about Spider-Man.

Quick warning, as I wrote this I realized this a stupid observation but I know it’ll help me when making my OCs, so I still wanted to post it in case it’ll help others :)

So. Every Spider-Person has a name. I’m talking like, Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacey. And There’s like, an infinite number of these spider people. Anyways, I was thinking about the actual naming schemes because I make a lot of Spider-Man OCs (I have a spinny wheel of aesthetics that I use to design random spider suits, if I like the design I develop the character more. Super fun game) and most of them don’t actually have names yet apart from their spider titles. Sugar Spider is one of my oldest designs, and I’ve somehow never given her a name.

Anyways, I really like that Spiderman names fall into categories. Like, The Peter Parker variants. There’s the OG, Peni Parker, Peter Porker, Pavitr Prabhakar, the list goes on and on. They’re the classics, and you can still get really creative with them if you try. I’m leaning towards Phoebe Parker for a cyberpunk design I have.

Next is the Gwen Stacey. Again, really self explanatory with the glass if and Gayatri Singh (not Spider-Man but still). I can’t think of as many examples off the top of my head from the movies or comics, but seeing as Gwen (and all others on this list) are inherently variants on the Peter Parker formula already (If they’re Spider-Man at all)

Third is the MJ. I actually can’t think of a cannon where she’s Spider-Man, but I love MJ. Mary Jane, Michelle Jones-Watson, both amazing. I have a clown core Spider-gal that I adore, and I’ve been leaning towards an MJ name just so I can have her last name be Jester.

And then there’s the names that don’t fit. Miguel O’Hara, Miles Morales (Though alliteration is huge). They don’t have as many variants, if any. Which is great for Spider-Sonas. My name is Aloe, and I name my personal sonas after myself because there’re like, based on me specifically. So all in all, it’s not a set rule, but it’s helping me actually start with ideas :)

And even though she wants Mac to quit the supervillain gig, she clearly has zero qualms about keeping Vulture chained to a wall in their apartment. She even has the audacity to demand he (Vulture) help save Mac. Truly no one else did it like her she’s an inspiration, an icon. She knew what she wanted and she went and got it.

So! I’ve been talking with @kittykatcar regarding to the AU, and there’s possibly a route if the fusion were to split Vanessa and Moonjumper out, things are going to get... dicey with how MJ will be dealing with being himself, but not himself at the same time. So this is a corrupted puppeteer that’s gonna be a spook on the outcome!

Another is Horatia, the hat kid variant OC that has been shown recently on this blog, which will be undergoing on how subcon forest will be filled with puppeted subconites looking for the prince and it’s not going to look too bright for her to try to find the time pieces to fix the fuel of her spaceship while not getting caught. So there’s some chances that there will be help on some that aren’t controlled to guide her away from the eyes of the fusion.
