do you have thoughts on hersheys/american chocolate

to be frank i don't know what "american chocolate" reeeaaally means. like. do kitkats and mars and twix and stuff count? they're not chocolate per se, more like chocolate fingers. but if those are included, yea all that shablang is good but arguably more for the filling than for the chocolate itself (but since they're so common maybe they're france/europe-made and if so they definitely taste differently than real usamerican ones)

also i am not the best one to answer this kind of question cuz i have a very low sugar tolerance, i'm not a chocolate bar addict and i'm not a snacker in general at all. so yknow!! maybe biased answer!!

now to the taste test.

i have gone to three different superstores, a sweets-specialised store and a usamerican-specialised store and this is the only type of hershey's i could find so very limited choice here (arguably since it's not a plain chocolate i'd argue the test is null and void but let's carry on regardless)

(+ reese's cup cuz it's very usamerican, it's not very common and i never had one before. although it belongs to the chocolate finger kind of sweets)

the reese's cup is genuinely a horrible, awful snack. i'll be completely honest and had "mini reese's cups" before this test (i'm writing this live btw) and i was very close to just spit it all out because of how disgusting it was to me. and it happened again with the big ones lmao, albeit they were more balanced. by the second cup it's a bit enjoyable but it's really not . good. milk chocolate + peanut butter is Not It (never had peanut butter before so maybe it's solely because of the pb). plus it's sooooo sugary. i'm not gonna sleep tonight after this. i feel like i drank a cup of monster energy drink but there's no caffeine so it's not even worth it

now the hershey's – i took a square of black chocolate for cooking before hand to remember the taste of my usual chocolate (i don't like black chocolate but still. For Reference i had to). soooo. it's good. i like milk chocolate so it's very nice and the crunchy of the biscuit is cool, i like crunchy things. the milk chocolate feels very similar to the white chocolate i'm used to, albeit more sugary maybe. hard to tell with the biscuit. taste wise it's good. however the squares are very little (height-wise) compared to my usual chocolate bars so it's very unsatisfying hunger-wise, a feeling which i don't have AT ALL with my usual chocolate bars (4 squares and i'm usually "ok that's enough chocolate") so i understand better how you can just eat that stuff up until your cupboard is empty

so anyways. that's my review for that particular type of hershey's lmao. would eat again. i'd rather buy a snickers instead though. if i ever encounter regular hershey's i'll do an update i guess. but the reese's cups can fuck right off

That happens when you are on the cover of vouge and in big blockbuster movies alongside modelling for Versace and other big brands that wanted your name.

You were all the talk in the media for the past few years, especially where you were dating Lewis Hamilton. He was 10 year older than you, but he treated you well. Even though you were 23 when you and Lewis started dating, people still seemed to treat you like you were made of glass. Yes, that was probably more to your high profile status and the fact that you're in the public eye.

Lewis treated you like an adult and you loved it, he wasn't in the relationship for publicity or just for a quick time. He had met you at exclusive party that you happened to be at as well as some of the 2018 F1 drivers.

Now in the middle of 2024 and Mercedes had a rocketship for a car, Lewis was on track for winning his 8th World Champion, you and Lewis had been together for 7 years now and what an interesting 7 years it had been. You'd been there for him winning 3 of his championships, seeing him get robbed of his 8th and then have a shit car for the next two seasons while Red Bull seem to be in a horrible sort of domination.

He'd won in Monaco today sharing a Podium with Lando Norris, who was actually his biggest competition this year. Mclaren came out on top, right now it was Mercedes Mclaren and Ferrari dancing around each other and then Red Bull who focused on their 2025 car too early and didn't do enough work with the 2024 car.

The door to the home opens and in walks your beautiful husband.

"How's my race winner" you smile at him, walking over to him slowly. He hangs the keys up to his car on the hook before his hands wrap around your waist pulling you into a hug. He nuzzles his face into your neck, his arms travelling up to stroke your soft hair, running down to the side of your face to hold your face steadily in his hand.

"I haven't stopped thinking about you all day!" he offers, pushing your hair back behind your ear before leaning in, kissing you softly.

"You were thinking about me when you were racing?" you ask with a smirk, stepping closer into him so your arms are able to hold his upper arms, helping you lean up to place a soft, yet sensual kiss on the corner of his mouth.

He walks you into the bedroom and places you down on the bed, making you bounce into the plush duvet and cushions. You lean up and you elbows moving back a little while Lewis crawls on top of you.

"Such a pretty baby!" he says, as he reaches round the back to unzip the black silk dress you were wearing. He tugs it down, throwing it onto the bedroom floor, a groan coming from him as he sees the matching black set that was on underneath.

He couldn't help but think that you'd been looking that delectable all day, and it didn't help and wouldn't help any future thoughts of what you wore on race days.

"God, Y/N!"

"Lew, come on" you groan, as his hands run up and down the curves of your body. Eventually his fingers work their way around your underwear, while his other hand goes behind you arching back to undo your bra. He skillfully undid it with the one hand while his other focused on your clit.

Your thighs squeezed together in anticipation as you feel his finger on your clit speed up. A gasp comes from you and your hand reaches down to hold his wrist.

Your eyes screw shut, the moans coming from you mouth is like music into Lewis' ears. He wishes he could have it as his ringtone, or playing to him before a race. Even during a race, that for sure would make him finish a race quicker knowing he could see you quicker and stuff you full.

"Baby I'm gonna cum" he groans right into your ear making you twitch and attempt to thrust up into him. He holds you still putting pressure on your stomach making you gasp loudly and try to sit up.

Like I love the OG designs but your redesigns literally sent me over the hecking moon eSPECIALLY the Scream Tail and Flutter Mane because those are mah favs <3 They're designed so welllll like all the markings on Scream Tail and the long hair, and the draconic look on flutter mane with the bird legs it just MMMMM ITS-A TASTY 👌

Thank you so much! The Scarlet Paradox Pokemon really inspired me. I love prehistoric life and classy low-key body horror so they kinda just hit a vibe that really resonated with me. I doubt anyone else got that from them but the way they're like, more monstrous versions of Pokemon we know, really evoked that idea to me. Flutter Mane might be my favourite redesign of this gen. so far. 

It might not be intentional but I noticed that all the canon designs sort of have traits that relate them back to Koraidon (tails, jagged spikes or fangs, yellow eyes, some kind of feathered shape in their silhouette) and the idea that Koraidon is influencing their forms somehow or that prehistoric Pokemon are influenced by something to be like this I thought was really interesting. 

This is probably gonna sound super weird but it reminded me a lot of a concept in Elden Ring called the Crucible, which is supposed to be this primordial energy from where all life began. All the beings closest to the Crucible have enhanced strength and are usually growing things like horns, scales, tails, and wings, sometimes in great numbers and in a really grotesque fashion that seems completely random. In the lore it is said these features used to grow on humans in prehistory which I think is very metal. It was something that I feel really inspired when redesigning the Scarlet Paradox Pokemon, just the idea of this unmitigated wild growth. I feel like I'm the only weirdo on the planet that made that connection because my brain is too souls-pilled, and I don't think it was like, an intentional reference by GameFreak by any means, but I feel like there was a weird accidental concept overlap that I found really neat.

azul!!!!! i started liking him as a character before i played the game because one of my friends told me i'd like him. looked him up and was like "oh shit he's GORGEOUS WOW." played through book three wanting to shake him around like marbles in a jar even though he was cute. he's a MENACE but he's so cool and hard working and he's so motivated too !!!!! azuls such an admirable character and i really admire how passionate and dedicated he is to whatever he sets his mind to.

i was thinking very hard about the number two spot and ultimately decided that jade leech gets second fav!! he single handedly dragged me kicking and screaming (not really) into researching mushrooms and forest ecosystems, even going so far as to make connections between one of my favorite flowers (the orchid) and mushrooms!! he's a goofy little nerd tbh i would give him a headpat. started liking him around book three i think!!!

kalim al-asim gets fourth fav!!! he's such a sweet character but there's always been a part of me that breaks a little when he helps someone out. i don't think his kindness would have been so strong if it wasn't for everything he went through in his childhood. he's actually really mysterious when you think about it, because im pretty sure his sweet, upbeat attitude is more of an defense mechanism to protect himself than anything. i just want to get inside his heart and see what's happening bc i can't understand him. started liking him around book five!!

3: Who cooks? Who cleans up? Who’s banned from the kitchen? I think usually neither of them cook, opting for takeout, but once time starts to pass in the relationship and things get like... move in and marriage serious, Ichimatsu slowly starts to take up more of an actual house husband kinda role. I hc that he's pretty decent at making simple foods in the beginning and is able to pick up the skill fairly quickly, hehehehehehehehe soooo over time Ichi becomes a pretty decent cook. so ik you know this but for the uninitiated i'm a recovering catholic, lots of religious trauma, raised in the faith and had a liiiittle bit of a mental break crisis of faith in 8th grade, blah blah blah one tragic backstory later here i am Totally Coping With It In A Healthy Way

my religious trauma and struggle with faith influenced a lot of my earlier original works, which have been further developed and refined as i got older and more stable - i have an entire universe with my partner where all the stuff we do with angels and demons stems from sympathy for the devil (and projection onto lucifer himself, oops). it's been really cathartic for me and helped me come to terms with my experiences in the roman catholic faith.

for a more specific focus on exdiff: religion in a futuristic scifi setting is endlessly fascinating to me, and i have a lot of characters who toy with it - one of my favorite things to posit is, when encountering deities or the dead/afterlife, are they really that, or are they the character's brain seeing what they think they should be seeing? and how much does it truly matter to them? taeja especially is one of my favorites specifically because of her intensely complicated relationship with her faith, as a victim of religious abuse who has shucked off the organized part of her religion but still holds true to the god she's devoted herself to and the rites and tenets of such, choosing her own path and method of belief rather than what her abusive family and society tried to force her into. in an otherwise very science-heavy setting, it's interesting to me to see how the two can intersect.

Arsonist's Lullaby: What do you do when you get the feeling to tear it all up and start again?

i mean usually for me that urge comes from RSD either not getting enough attention or not getting the kind of attention i want, or just getting stuck in one spot and getting frustrated. usually what i end up doing is just kinda... taking a step back, leaving it alone, going to work on something else that i do enjoy or just not writing for a bit at all and playing video games or whatever (like, say, coming up with like 5 potential new wips when exdiff is fighting me...). if there's a social element, i'll withdraw from that for a little while, only really hang out in spaces that aren't hitting me with the RSD stick, even if that's literally just dms with one or two people. then once i feel like coming back to it, i can go back to it with fresh eyes and decide whether it's actually as bad as i thought it was or if i can salvage it somehow either with editing or figuring out where the block is and what i want to get to instead. the main hard part is really giving myself permission to set it down and do something else, tbh, because i want to keep updating, but sometimes i just.... need to go stab people in the desert a bit, yknow? (note to fbi tom: that was an assassin's creed joke)

and sometimes ill just straight up go fishing for compliments among my friends, i'm not above begging my friends to tell me how great i am when i need the ego boost even if i. dont necessarily admit i need an ego boost lol,,,,,

, but last time i went out ( a week ago) I had dinner at pizzeria Napoletenna ( a byob in Little italy) and I drank champagne and Natural wine and then went in front To Cafe Conca d’Oro ( karaoke/cannenoli/tavern) right in front and had wholesome fun times,,, then went to Bruno Sports bar on Beaubien, (one time i went there and kissed two different boys in the bathroom) ,,, Bruno is like a meme cos people say its over hype but i personnally love it i love sitting down i love the hype when i go there its like being in a magazine because you always see someone you kind of know or heard of and its the montreal micro celebrities from your phone irl and the chairs are comfy and the lights are dim….

This is typical soiree me, but people say they have fun at sans soleil, systeme, datcha,,, but i worked for the owners and i dont know somehow its icky for me to go there,,, havent had a good dance moment in a minute,,,

a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: My initial watch of the show had me thinking that Ger*skier was fun and cute- and I mean, canonically, their interactions are fun? I can see why people ship it? But to be honest about my level of pettiness, I get annoyed with how hard everyone ships them like Yen doesn’t exist or worse, is “unworthy” of Geralt or something. That colours my opinion of the ship- which again, is a fine ship? But this is a fandom pattern that annoys me.

my most hated character: I hate that wizard dude from the first episode- he shows up later again but I can’t remember his name. He has a beard? He’s the one Renfry wanted to kill? So yeah, him.
