The list of Hallmark movies I watched purely because there is a broadway star in it is growing lol

I'm currently watching Making Waves because it stars Corey Cott. Not only does it star him, but he sings in it! God I love Corey Cott's voice. His performance in Bandstand is one of my favorite things. He sounds so good in this movie. I'd love it if Hallmark would release the full song. The movie isn't too bad so far either which is good.

So far I've watched "One Royal Holiday" because Aaron Tveit, Laura Osnes, Victoria Clark, Tom McGowan, and Krystal Joy Brown (but really I watched it for aaron let's be real), "Butlers in Love" and "A Holiday Spectacular" for Derek Klena, "Holly and Ivy" and "Hanukkah on Rye" for Jeremy Jordan, "Just One Kiss" for Santino Fontana, and several for Patti Murin.

Sidenote I laugh every time a Broadway person stars in a Hallmark movie, especially if they sing it, because the Hallmark fans on social media are always like "omg they can sing?! Wait are they actually singing? Is that even their voice?" and i'm always like "ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THEY ARE A BROADWAY STAR! TONY NOMINATED! YES THEY CAN SING!" it just amuses me that no one who watches hallmark apparently watches broadway musicals.

i’m probably the only one but i think vanilla is lowkey underrated

yes all the mods are nice but like concernedape put a hell of a ton of effort in to make it a good game vanilla as well and i don’t see people appreciate that here too much

Hey diva thank you for answering my past questions!! <3<3<3 i love your style of gameplay because you just flow with the game and go wherever it takes you, i feel like i struggle with trying not to micro manage every action they do which makes it less fun for me. I just end up making sims in cas then exiting my game after I’m done lol. I was just wondering, I know you have your mods in order to make the game fun but besides that how did you get the mindset you have to have fun with the sims 4? And how do you not want to restart or micro manage your sims like all the time especially when they do something you don’t want them to do or with all the trouble they get themselves into?

Honestly it helped a lot watching people like acottonsock play The Sims 3 and The Sims 2 and trying to understand what made those games so fun for me - then I had a little Sims 3 era and played it day in and day out and that completely rewired my brain on how to take on The Sims 4! The games before were just way more reliant on guiding the player with different opportunities and pop-ups and autonomous events meanwhile TS4 is more reliant on the player playing out their story.

I then went on a hunt to get any mod that improves autonomy in the sims 4 and told myself to try and be more unpredictable and random with my decisions and just started trusting the game more - like when i don't know what to do i literally think to myself 'the wheel will pick the correct decision' LMFAOOOO I think what really changed it again for me was Brooks and Corey dying, I was really close to just not saving and refilming the part but look at how IMPORTANT that piece of the story turned out to be for Calvin's development 😭 like the series would be in a completely different (and probably kinda stale no shade) place if they didn't die!!

ANYWAYS trust the game more, trust your intuition more, let the game guide you and get a shit ton of mods and just have FUN!!!! YAHOOOOO!!!

The realization that was hitting all of them was a bit amusing to Mateo. However, he was thankful when Corey had turned their attention to Jin for a moment. Especially when the question of had Mateo been hurt was asked. Because for a split second, Mateo’s gaze lingered on the back of Corey’s head. His eyes glazed over for a second and his smile faltered a little. He didn’t say anything, didn’t do anything, he let Jin take over. Truth was…yes, he had been hurt. He had just never told anyone about it, especially not Jin. He hadn’t wanted to cause a riff between them and any potential friendship they could have in future back then. And he had never voiced how hard it had it been to move on, to finally feel okay enough to trust someone with his heart again, and so he decided right now he would do the same. He looked down to the alien plushie as a distraction, squishing it for a moment, before looking back over in Jin and Corey’s direction with the same goofy smile he had just a second ago.

“Oh yeah?” He looks at Jin, “Did you give them a good black eye or two? Cause if you missed an eye you’ll have to let me know who this person is so I can give them a matching one.” Then he turns back to Corey, “No worries. No one has to kick anyone to the curb. It’s all good vibes here. Plus,” he nods down to the plushie in his arms, “no fighting in front of the baby.” Thankfully the shots idea had been accepted and they were off to do that instead of talking about his past relationship with Jin. It wasn’t like it mattered now anyway, was it? The past was the past and their future was now. Friendship, beer, and baby aliens. “Yes, shots. Shots, shots, shots,” his tone, while still playful, wasn’t as bright as it had been originally.

Once outside he ends up a bit distracted with Aziel who had suddenly needed the 411 on this alien plushie Mat had. They mention how they are going to get the baby alien a pink boa as a gift before they are pulled away by another band member. Mat ends up joining Jin and Corey as Corey begins to talk about their sandbox days. He chuckled at the mention of them in middle school, smiling as he remembered those days. “Our parents were so convinced we were going to get married. Hell. At one point I had a ring pop saved to pop the question. I was ready for full commitment…..and then we had our first kiss.” He looked at Jin, “And the rest was history, as you can see.” Just then Aziel walks by with someone, teasingly saying to Corey, “Don’t burn your eyebrows off!” They made sure to duck out of the way in case Corey wanted to smack them for being an idiot.

The smell of burgers, hot dogs, and the food in general being cooked made Mateo hum in delight. He was a foodie through and through. At the mention of the break up with Jin, Mateo just let his gaze linger on the food being cooked. “Well…Jin is special.” He wasn’t sure if he had told Jin that, but surprises for everyone he supposed. His gaze travels over to Jin for second then to Corey, “Just like you are special. You guys were my first, uh, well in a lot of things. So…I think no matter how things would’ve ended in either relationship…I would have made sure we were okay in the end.” Despite his own heart hurting after Jin and him had broken up. But that was a subject for another day or maybe just a subject they didn’t have to touch ever. He looked down at the alien plushie, pouting a bit, “But my baby….I don’t want to hurt my little alien baby.” Then he smirks, looking back up to Corey, “But I don’t back down from a deal or challenge. So.”

He looks to Jin, “You can have a five. We will split it.” Without even thinking twice, Mateo shoots the baby alien in the air towards the hoop. Imagine, if you will, a slow motion scene of a baby plushie flying in the air with people looking at it to see if it makes it to the desired destination. And it does actually make it into the hoop, but then Aziel has it in their hands. “Az give it back!” Mat yells, laughing, holding his hands up to catch the plushie. Aziel being who they were ends up going long and throwing the plushie like a football with a bit too much force but he does catch it. “TOUCH DOWN!” They both scream before Az is laughing and once more back in conversation with another band member.

He looked to Jin, casually handing the plushie over to him, “Perhaps you should keep our baby safe before he turns into a football again.” He looks back to Corey, “How long do you think you’ll be grilling? I want do teams with beer pong. I bet I could totally smoke you. In fact…I will raise you ten and make it twenty that I can beat you in it. You can even pick my team member.” He looked back to Jin, “You’re getting in on this too. I am coming for all the smoke. I don’t mess around with beer pong,” his tone serious for a second, before breaking into a light laugh.

Jin nodded, grateful that he wouldn’t have to work in extra steps in his skin care routine because of oily face paint, of all things. Jerseys were doable. A breakout because of clogged pores? Less so. He was actually excited to get into women’s sports — Corey had unintentionally opened his eyes to a lot of new things, from bar fights to various sports. Jin had, however, decided to stick with the bar fights and the basketball. Every other sport was still boring to him. He was just about to ask which Matty they were talking about when the door opened like a dramatic plot beat, and Mateo walked in. 

Jin blinked, momentarily caught off guard. He hadn’t expected Mateo to be the Matty in question, but maybe he should have. Life sure did love a bit of irony. “Hey,” he smiled back at him. His gaze flicked from Mateo to the alien plushie, then the bag in his hand, and then back to Corey. “Best friend?” he echoed, arching a brow. “You never told me you were friends with my ex?” He added playfully. 

Jin nodded to the suggestion about shots. “Yes, let’s do a round of shots.” He said. “For good friendships, and alien custody arrangements. And baby’s first BBQ.” He grinned, and moved over to make room for Mateo to join them. “It’s exciting we get to experience that together, though. Makes it all the more special... Domestic, almost.” He looked up at the other man. Then to Corey. “So, how long have you guys known each other?”

Uhm, hi! I'm Penny Lamb, full name being Persephone April Savannah Harmony Goldy Lamb, an aspiring animal conservationist! (and a former drug dealer, we don't talk about that, I was young! :D)

I decided to make a Tumblr blog, my friends have one, and Tammy convinced me to make one! So I did, I'm not so good with tech, Tammy and Astrid taught me how to use a phone, so I still have some problems while using phones or social medias!

I'll talk about me, as I said, my name is Persephone April Savannah Harmony Goldy Lamb, but my friends everyone just calls me Penny or Penny Lamb for short! I have a little brother called Ezra! I also have my best friends: Tammy, Corey, Astrid, Trishna and Hank! They were the first ones to talk to me at school!

Some things about me: I was diagnosed with BP and suicidal behavior, I study at St Cassian and make part of the choir! I don't really talk with anyone in the choir, thought, or at school! Only with Ezra and my friends, I like to go in the fair with them, my favorite ride is the swing ride! I really like animals (I'm going to be an animal conservationist)! Did you know that when a lioness has children, she stops making love to the lion? And the lion gets jealous! Sometimes so jealous he eats the children. You'd think this would upset the lioness, far from it, they make love again like the children never existed! Isn't that terrifying?

- This version of Penny is Penny from Legoland Squad! It's a fic i'm writing and i'll maybe post this week! It's an au where Penny's friend group are the cut characters + tammy!

- I'll try to make her personality a mix of legoland penny and shy penny, like in school and with the choir she is more shy and quiet but with ezra and the squad she acts more like herself! It makes some time since i read Legoland!

Alt alt au would be Pip and Gabe in the same universe but rather than the other ths kiddos, Gabe's "friends" are real... those edgy-looking boys that Owl drew years ago, and I latched on and named/ imagined personalities for all of them haha.

They'd be like, Gabe's unhinged cousins or something. Idk. It would either be good for Pip, having them all to back her up and keep her safe. But it could be bad, if they do not get along. I don't know! I'm just talking out loud!!!
