Quick little PSA for folks in case they don't know because it's been an issue several times in this community. I've been told this is not common knowledge! If someone blocks you and you go out of your way to contact them or have someone contact them on your behalf, that can be considered harassing behavior. Being blocked sucks, especially with no explanation, but trying to block evade is not the healthy approach. I promise you its better in the long run to let it go.

Always ask for clarification before sending upsetting in character messages in their inbox. Communicate with members of your community.

Often many of the roleplayers you see are talking extensively behind the scenes before making higher stakes posts, only the tip of the iceberg may appear on blog. These are rarely spontaneous, unplanned things, and if they are the person will often say as much on their profile. Never assume someone is automatically okay with this kind of behavior. Remember these blogs are run by real people.

Reader just being turned into a Pokémon is such a funny idea bc while they do have the mentality of a human for the most part, I can totally imagine that they accidentally give into the instincts of the Pokémon they were turned into. Even better if they also manage(or at least try to) stream all of it to the people out there, just imagine opening Twitch to watch your favorite streamer only to discover they have been turned into a pathetic lil Unown shaped like an L who is trying VERY HARD to hold their Arc Phone (Bonus points if they are obviously crying and chat is spamming them with "common Unown L behavior"

Volo wants Reader who was turned into a Glameow to pay attention to what he is saying? Mf just needs to hold them by the scruff (even if there is a chance a 99% chance he will get scratched in the face after)

Ingo carrying Sneasel Reader everywhere like a baby in a makeshift baby carrier and nobody even questioning it (bc who would question "God" and their preferred locomotive am I right?)

Ndkajdjs the idea of being turned into an L unown though is so funny

Imagine people you go against still lose in battle. Your mod submits a new L emote for your opponents to literally lose to an L.

Bolo loses a battle and he can’t help but feel he’s being mocked by your smug aura.

The smug aura would also be there if you were a cat pokemon. This time he can see it on your face. Holding you by the scruff is asking for pain, even if he says you were asking for it first

He has a new scar on his chin from your claws.

And the idea of being carried around by Ingo as a lil Sneasel 😭💕 he’d take such good care of you and take every safety precaution to keep you safe 🥺

{Job Experience? What a Joke!}

Hey, Rotumblr!

I’ve never really done something like this before (that’s a lie, but 4chu was a dark time in my life…), so here goes!

I’m Etney, a crabby old lady (32, I’m basically ancient!) from Sinnoh. I usually introduce myself (to the station or not) with having the- in my not-so-humble opinion- best, and worst, track record of almost every trainer in the regions! And that’s saying something.

I’ve been on every infamous pokemon team you’ve heard about on the news.

But that’s nothing important, really. Just a girl needing a little bit of money here; even if it means doing infiltrating and working double jobs and double shifts on the dime.

My Mareep (♀) is named Tazer, and she’s my little chargabug!

Persian (♀) is named ICarly, after my favorite show (helped me through my teenage years, oh Carly…)

Eevee’s (♀) name is Rebel Rebel (Rebel for short, heh!)

Mimikyu’s (?) name is Muppet (I didn’t name him, I stole rescued him from my ex-boyfriend. Fuck you Jared.)

Sneasel (♂) is named Ekans because my Team Rocket partner and I have a bit of a sense of humor (๑·̀ㅁ·́๑)✧!

Hello, hello! You can call me Actias or Moth, whichever's easier to remember, and you probably know me from one of my pokemon irl blogs!

I made this account as a way to talk OOC without cluttering my own blogs, as well as posting WIPS, commentary, all sorts of things really! Because let's face it, my main blog is very, very cluttered (and I don't plan on changing this.)

@battle-subway-ghost - My first pokemon irl blog, starring Paris, an Ace trainer from Unova who has since moved to Galar. He has an upbeat personality at a glance, but he's hiding a sea of traumas and mental problems underneath. Will engage in high-stakes stuff from time to time.

Activity: Very Active Current Arc: Identity Disillusionment (warnings linked)

@frosty-sneasel - Lumi, or Paris' childhood friend. She's an artist, as well as an ice-type specialist who has since retired due to health issues. She's generally happy and friendly, mainly due to not talking about her problems online. Will generally be low-stakes, but discussions of medical problems and past accidents will come up.

@dodriotrio - A Galarian Wild Area Ranger, and his eccentric and mysterious roommate! There seems to be something up with both of them, subtle or not, but besides that, they're pretty chill!

Life update:

Period hasn't come in 2 months. I'm on high alert to make an appointment to get it checked out if it misses again next month.

TCM doctor thinks I'm physically fine but "under a lot of arbitrary stress with no discernable cause"

Found a job. I start in June. Something something freelance waiter and hotel butler.

I haven't been fronting a lot. And sometimes when I do I'm still being a war pig very bad piglin brute in bastion no good boar Mitri who gets nothing done because I get lost in my bad thoughts.

Weird nightmares? I don't even remember them beyond "they happened".

48 started his own tag on here and keeps ED posting and I don't even remember when he started it. Also he also goes by Rex now apparently. 48 is still preferred but he'll answer to Rex.

Julian has been helpful. Hope that'll last. I don't know what he actually did in detail but. He helped. So. You know.

Nobori is stressed about our Malaysia trip to spend time with family. We are going to a rural village offshore that unironically has a population of 100 or less. He's sensitive about being in rural places without access to public transport (especially trains) because last time he was in one we had bronchitis so bad we fainted several times. Also, thanks to him, we are once again sleeping on a mattress on the floor instead of in a bed because that's what he prefers apparently. Hates old rural villages yet lives like he's in one the way he doesn't like big bed frames and plastic stuff.

Charles has been fronting a lot lately. His appetite really is something. He's been buying pastries for himself using loose change we dug up around the house and honestly that's not an issue because it's just loose coins and stuff that wasn't initially accounted for in our budget. He likes custard cream puffs, donuts and cornets. He doesn't like being called Charlie. It's Charles or nothing.

William is having mild withdrawals from taking two weeks off piano class. Hope he'll be ok. He's also been getting really into learning to sing a few new songs.

Allan has gotten really into playing Minecraft again. I swear our desktop is basically HIS desktop the way he'll happily sit and play for hours when he fronts. He's currently obsessed with the Farmer's Delight mod and the Brewin' and Chewin' addon because it adds.... cheese. Yup. That's cheeseboi alright. Even built a whole little building exclusively to age the cheese. Yeesh. Little guy is dedicated.

The train muppets have been one-upping each other by Joltik posting and Sneasel posting over each other on our new Pokemon sideblog.

Sebastian has been doing Sebastian things. The tailor wouldn't add pockets to a waistcoat. He went and did it by hand so perfectly we couldn't see the damn stitching when it was done. He's also been keeping up with the new Black Butler season and theorizing about minute details.

I think that should be most of it.

I'll come back and add more if I remember anything else.

Kudos to @thesaituraide for coming up with the Ice-type theming!

Geodude and Voltorb are both references to Tomori's love for round objects (especially stones), and Eiscue is a reference to her love of penguins.

As a darker off-shoot of the preexisting Bandori franchise, I feel like a Mimikyu would be the perfect answer to Kasumi's Alolan Raichu.

Smoochum matches both the Ice-type theming of the band and the general popular girl aura that Anon wishes to embody.

When Anon moved to England Galar, she picked up both Gossifleur and Wooloo to try and fit in.

After moving back to Japan, she tried to reinvent her image and capture a cute and stylish Finneon (or Finn-Anon, as she calls it).

Stray cats and matcha.

Soyo benefits greatly from the healing properties of both Indeedee and Petilil, because she's just very stressed 24/7 and needs the self-care.

Cetoddle and Drampa could be seen as the two-sides of Soyo, the more mature and parental side and the side that still has a lot of room to grow and mature.

Taki's love for pandas inspired the Pancham, her sharp personality inspired the Sneasel, her love of Afterglow inspired the Zigzagoon, and her love for Tomori inspired the round and adorable Poliwag.
