Read the first chapter of Chibi Usa's Picture Diary today. I'm always down for a scary story (just look at my media thread on Twitter; there's equal amounts of horror on there as there is Magical Girls and other genres, lol). This one had a very Goosebumps/Are You Afraid of the Dark? feel to it, too.

Also want to particularly give a shout-out to how Naoko Takeuchi designs her monsters. She tends to keep them humanoid, but she does a good job of drawing some very creepy faces (and honestly, that's where humans tend to decide whether or not they like something or someone; a face with blank white eyes or even no face at all can be really frightening).

He’s very invested in what he does, and will take basically any opportunity to talk about it. Though, he also knows when he’s starting to bore his friends with all of that talk.

Apart from that, he’s incredibly loyal to his friends and loves them to death. Sometimes it’s a bit of blind loyalty, but he truly does enjoy being with most people.

Kanta spends a lot of time on his experiments, but also enjoys reading the papers other space biologists publish. There’s always going to be updates to prior research!

Akihito apprehensively sits on one of the bar stools, eyes darting between Asami and Kirishima; the latter of which, has set the bags down on the counter, pulling out an assortment of ingredients. Asami reclaims the cup, fills it again, and sets it down in front of Akihito. Reluctantly, he lifts the cup to his lips, sipping at its contents while keeping a watchful eye.  "So? Why am I here?" Akihito asks again, seeing as no one else is going to break the silence first. He just wishes his voice wasn't so weak and hoarse; it really puts a damper on attempting to sound authoritative and stern. Asami simply stares, golden gaze seemingly piercing straight through Akihito, causing him to shift uncomfortably on his stool, yet he refuses to break eye contact. Asami leans back against the counter, next to where Kirishima is preparing some fruits. Compared to Akihito's first exposure to Asami, this one comes off as significantly more relaxed. Maybe it's because he's dressed down in a simple shirt and slacks, while Kirishima still dons a full suit. Akihito wonders if Kirishima only owns suits, which quickly brings the mental image of him sleeping in a full three-piece, with the added details of a nightcap and sleep mask. Akihito has to bring the cup to his mouth to hide the smile threatening to spread across his face. He's trying to keep this conversation serious, dammit! This isn't the time for his brain to conjure up such ridiculous images.
