He lived in Louisiana until his family moved to Illinois, settling in Chicago's South Side. A mixed race man, his experience living between black and white worlds made him keenly aware of the boundaries, privileges, and prejudices that came with race and skin tone. His work, while beginning largely in portraiture, explored those realities, informed by his study of the Old Masters. His work also explores jazz culture with bright, colorful night scenes full of vivid figures in gleamingly city lights. Your probably planing on going to some already, but NYC is home to some of America's biggest and most well known museums so definitely check them out!

There's the Met (metropolitan museum of art and yes. Thats were the fancy dress Gala is held) which is the most well known and it's a HUGE art museum (you could probably spend multiple days there)

The MOMA (Museum of Mondern Art). It's home to Van Gough's Starry Night!

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum which is that white Spiral building! It's also an art museum (if you couldn't tell by the types of museums on this list, imma art nerd)

And one I really reccomend, The Interpid Air, sea and space museum! It's really, really cool. The intrepid is a retire battle ship, and it, itself is the meusem venue! It has a bunch of cool air crafts including the ENTERPRISE SPACE SHUTTLE!

Another thing. I dont think I can ever do a review on prehistoric planet. I don't have the worlds of gual to make a proper review on such a piece of historical art.

It's just amazing. It's successfully shown mondern accurate dinosaurs. Not monster that scream. Just animals that do animal stuff. I'm so proud and happy that the BBC was able to make this story a reality. They did amazing.

We all are still upset for the carnotaurus and how he never got the love. Also fuck mosquitoes. That is all.

I'm so glad this doc was made and I hope we see way more one day. Perhaps all the prehistoric timezones. I wanna hug them all. Love ya. Have a good night. Sorry I'm dumb.

Zhongven is such a terrible way to ruin one of the best canon friendships. I love that one bit of lore where Venti showed up in Liyue some hundreds of years ago (most likely in his winged whore outfit) and Zhongli was like oh shit he wants to start a war but Venti just gave him a bottle of wine and they invited all the og archons and had all these little meetings together. And how they talk about each other like they’re enemies when in reality they just have this very secure friendship to where they can tease each other and it’s no harm done.

I’d kill for a mondern day interaction with them in-game but I know it’d just be fuel to the shipping fire. They have such a wholesome friendship why people gotta make it weird?

Ok don't take this in a harsh way anon but we don't call Venti's archon outfit "whorish" or "slutty" on this page. Only words I'll accept are: ethereal, angelic, divine, sacred, beautiful. Or anything else that means godly and majestic because that's what he is.

Zhongven is sooooo weeeiiiiirrrdddd though! Like at first I was like what why do people ship this they barely like each other than I started getting into the lore and I was like awwwww Venti had a little house in Liyue to visit his friend that's so so sweet. And I thought about how Venti has probably never had friends that weren't mortal before. The constant fear of waking up and seeing the world around you so drastically changed all the time because you're immortal must be awful. So it was really therapeutic to see Venti had such a long standing and healthy friendship with someone but I can't enjoy any art of them anymore because of the shippers.

The ship itself is so uncomfortable too. All the short men / tall men dynamics always have the shorter male being the "girl" wearing dresses and being cutesy or the shorter male is like twenty times shorter.. as much as I love Haino (Cyno x Al Haitham) it's one of the more uncomfortable things I see with their fan art too.
