I think it's so crazy how there really, actually, FOR REAL was an Ever After High and Monster High crossover special/movie that we just never got I am actually so disappointed whenever I think about it.

I mean, we did get a G2 MH crossover book, but seeing G1 and EAH in full action with a movie and crossover dolls????? DUDE I would have never recovered

You see, now I’m hyper-fixated on G1 Monster High and Ever After High, mostly Ever After High, so now I want to start a rewrite AU thing of my own and use the disappearance of Hexiciah Steam’s team as a catalyst for the crossover. Like, the Evil Queen returning is Act 2 or 3 of the crossover, secret final boss type thing. Act 1 focuses on the missing steampunk dilf. I’d also reorder or cut somethings entirely from both series.

Like, the Catacombs under Monster High are a eldritch nightmare realm constructed by an ancient monster race known as the Builders. They’re near impossible to map out due to their impossible size, full of impossible illusions and tech, just random weirdness. Well, what if the impossible stuff that monster kind doesn’t understand or can’t make sense out of is the result of magic not native to monster kind? What if the Builders used some Ever After and Wonderland magic in their creations in addition to monster magic and tech? What if it spanned several realms?

And like, we’d get the ghouls investigating because Ghoulia finally made progress on her research into what happened to Professor Steam and discovered that the last report of this mad scientist was he was going to go down into the Catacombs with his team to finally prove his Builders theory correct. Cleo is extra interested and invested because the name of one of the listed team members? Her long missing mom. Also Lagoona actually comes along on an adventure for once.

On the Ever After side let’s let Darling be the one to be doing research on magical locations for a school project and figure out where the lost entrance to the Labyrinth is. Idk, some of the girls go with. Definitely Blondie for her Mirrorcast, which means Dexter’s going too because camera man. Cedar goes because of all the fantastic art that’s said to be within the Labyrinth and also “I cannot tell a lie, so if we do find the Labyrinth my word will be proof that this isn’t us pulling a hoax-us-pocus”. Apple and Raven cause we need them, they’re the main characters (and Apple and Darling need to develop together so the Dragon Games payoff is like, a payoff). I also need Briar to come because I love her and this is my self-indulgent rewrite AU thing. Also I can totally picture her telling Lagoona that Gil’s family ain’t shit, love is love, make out with that boy in front of their house while flipping them the bird. Ramona and Cerise because I want a “Werewolf? No, wolfwere” interaction and also for this whole thing to end with Ramona getting Clawdeen’s number. Enemies to lovers arc, annoying little sisters in full force, all that.

I also would want Cupid to come because I just want them all to look at her like “Cupid, you have some explaining to do”.

Idk, I could have it that later when the Evil Queen escapes via something in the Catacombs/Labyrinth it’s revealed that she manipulated things by causing the exact right people to find the exact right documentation at the exact right time. Casting spells from her mirror prison like the villainous queen she literally is.

part 2 of my eah vs mh modern au!!!

Blondie

i knew that i wanted blondie to be a runner (running from bears) but i didn’t know how to convey that through design until i saw a friend in cross country who had a knee brace cuz their knee was hurting from running so much. i had an epiphany so now blondie has a knee brace. its also a small detail but she and cupid have matching “i <3 boobies” bracelets. i thought that since they’re roommates and best friends they would have a matching something, and that something is bracelets.

Draculaura

i thought giving her a more gothic look was the best so i did, just with more pink. the split hair color was also something i liked but i didn’t want it just like that, so i added some mini-streaks in her bangs to make it more interesting to look at. overall, i loved drawing her redesign the most because of the skirt and the hat.

I STRUGGLED SO MUCH WITH THIS ONE

i wanted her to seem like she has g1 clawdeen’s personality, but her style is mixed with g3 clawdeen and oml i had zero idea how to do that. i probably re did her design the most cuz of how much i struggled. this is the result. im pretty happy. while i was redesigning i def knew i wanted the dyed pinkish purple hair, even if its just a little, bc i love color. i honestly didn’t know what to do with her pants until i saw a pair of pants at the thrift store and thought “oh yeah” so that’s why clawdeen’s pants r like that lmao.

i literally just took the uniform design i did for eah students and put it on her cuz i 100% believe that she would be the only student to follow the dresscode to a t

Ever After High Blondie Repaint and Rework! I spent a lot of time and effort on this repaint. I cut up her dress and retailored it, added so much gold thread. Also added ribbons and buttons and a crimson under skirt. Restyled the hair, obviously redid the face, painted her accessories.

And I made her a little bear friend! I hope you like her, I put a lot of love into her!!

Melody and Riddle do not get along at first, with melody’s music and riddles strictness they just don’t mesh well

Vill and Operetta both bond over their shared love off theatre, they tend to have jam sessions where they just sing their favourite songs

Jack, Leona, Cerise and Ramona become like siblings they are always fucking bickering especially Leona and Ramona

Maddie and ace are absolutely nuts together, they get up to all sorts of shit so beware of them

Malleus and Rochelle bond over their love for gargoyles and architecture they become quite close and Rochelle makes sure to invite Mal everywhere

Sebek and Duchess are a force to be reckoned with when they are together

Pls they will shout the house down and not care

Clawdeen gets put in Pomefiore and she gets so much inspiration from the students and their different styles

Draculara and sliver bond even if they have slightly opposing personalities.

Howleen and epel are force’s to be reckoned with especially with their teenage rebellion phases

Ginger and trey are absolutely best friends, they bake together, they visit cafes together. THEY ARE GLUED TO THE HIP

Frankie and MC bond over being accidental protagonists

Cleo and vill are like frenemies they love to compare jewellery though

iida and melody end up making like a mixtape together at some point

Crowley makes sure to get melody to DJ at any big party nrc has

Bunny and cater become fast friends, he helps bunny with her anxiety

Azul and meeshel slowly learn to trust each other and become good friends

Operetta plays music specifically on a Tuesday afternoon at the monstro lounge

Floyd becomes very interested in venus to him she’s like a very beautiful sea plant

Iida meets robecca and is extremely intrigued by how she functions so it ends up with him asking her a bunch of questions and one is if he could meet her father

Raven and jamil get along quite well and just end up ranting to each other sometimes

Kalim and Blondie are the ultimate party animals especially if briar is there as well

Lilia and faybelle have this sort of familial connection due to her being able to sense extremely strong fae

He takes her under his wing (her and sebek argue a hell of a lot but it’s okay)

Cupid is sort of a mix of happy and scared, her friends from both schools are seeing both her sides

She and cater start up a podcast thing (pretty much like the one in why do ghouls fall in love)

Cupid and rook are an especially odd pair, he flirts and she does not like how cheap he sounds

Briar finally gets the courage to tell apple exactly how she feels with the Diasomnia gang backing her up

She actually starts hanging around a lot more with cerise and lizzie

Lizzie and riddle get along like a house on fire

It’s a lot of “off with your head”

Alistair meets with bunny, elissabat and jade every now and again to discuss the literature of their worlds

Ashlynn and Hunter are a lot more open with their relationship in twisted wonderland

The light music club becomes extremely more chaotic when jackson, operetta and Raven join

They hold concerts every two weeks on the Thursday

Blondie vlogs her experience

Ginger gets inspiration for new recipes

Briar throws the coolest parties with MC’s and Divius’s help

Kitty and Chenya are long lost siblings?!

Raven slowly heals with the help of trein who becomes like a parent to her

Robecca makes some cool new stuff for herself and ortho

Melody gets to make new tunes that don’t have to be a specific sound

Clawdeen and divius are the event stylists

He even asks her to collaborate with him for his next collection

Frankie learns even more new things

Whisp is here to cause trouble along with valentine

Gigi ends up becoming close friends with jamil and kalim

Jillian shows of her climbing skills and everyone is like we need her on the team

Cerise gets to join the track team without being scared of her heritage

Overall most of the kids get to heal and have a normal teenage life (except for the overblots and what not)

I headcanon that Cupid has to act scared around things that are completely normal to her, but she doesn't exactly know what the Ever After High students consider scary so she acts..overly afraid of everything.

That moment she was scared of the woods? Fake.

She acts very overly afraid of Mr. Badwolf and other villains and Mr. Badwolf feels really bad because he doesn't know why he scares Cupid so much.

Everyone tries to figure out what DOESN'T scare Cupid and Cupid just acts afraid of any little thing they show her that's slightly creepy.

Blondie is very confused by this because she literally has skulks with little pink bows in their room, she does specials on her mirrorcast about Cupid and her fears.

But at the same time she says really creepy fucked up shit by Ever After High standards.

No one knows what's up with Cupid, she is forever confusing to them.
