I still love it for how they pretty much drive each other crazy, but that word choice and the consent issues... *cringes* At least there are valid warnings beforehand, and the first fic was pretty PG. Summary:

Matt, Mello and Near work under their mentor, world-famous genius detective L, training to become detectives someday themselves. Matt is generally okay with being in third place when compared to Mello and Near, but things are about to change. When Near suddenly collapses while he and Matt are home alone, the redhead finds himself in charge for the first time ever.

Matt rushes Near to the hospital. Just as a friendship begins to form between the two boys, Mello arrives and complicates the dynamic. Things go from bad to worse, as Near's obsessive nurse Mikami abducts him from the hospital, and Matt, Mello and L must work together to recover him.

Hello everyone! It’s been about two years since I updated this compilation of fic ideas, but here I am, with an update. This time, I wrote a small snippet for Honkai Star Rail. Truthfully, the story is mostly a test run for me to figure out how to write Aventurine and Ratio’s voices. They are a massive challenge for me so please be kind when reading this story! I did my best so I hope you like it! And, if you like Chapter Five and are a fan of the other fandoms in this collection, give those stories a read!

As a reminder, since it’s been a while since I updated this collection, all the warnings for each chapter are in the beginning author’s note. If I tagged everything it would bloat the tags. For Ch. 5 I have a lot of alcoholic drinks/drinking/getting drunk as main components in the story. If that’s something that bothers you, please take care of yourself. Your health, as always, is up to you!

Also, this fic was slightly inspired by the lovely art of @umeuyenicorn. While nothing in my story is a direct one to one of your ideas in your work talking to you in the tags about Aventurine and Ratio helped inspire me to write this. absolutely no fucking notes on the new piece, it’s PERFECT (also insane nod to brno bc how funny that things still turned out that way) but… okay this will make me sound like the worlds worst person ever bc im doing this to a 19 year old but i imagined for a moment the same situation set a year prior… it would change a little of the dynamic, considering, obviously, but qatar 2013 strikes a note that is decidedly post-fuck and it only gets worse from there and it’s clear marc will move into the motogp class by mid-2012 anyway so who’s to blame vale and uccio for doing scout work on vale’s supposed “friend”… due diligence and all that, preparation for the new year, they’re just checking on the competition early (marc won brno in 2012 too so that’s just…)

we need to bring back authors notes. for fic but also for formal writing. im working on my applications rn and i leave an incredible amount of comments throughout for both myself and person editing. most are not even questions theyre just like annotations of my own work "this technically isnt true heres what actually happened" "*explanation of how much my undergrad research PI sucked*" etc. sure these are things i should incorporate smoothly into the actual essay but also i think i should be able to say "A/N the preps will hate me for this!!!" etc in my personal statement
