But, honestly, dad, I wouldn’t lie to ya. I have never laid a finger on that woman. (Part 2.2)
In this final part, Katie bemoans to Andy how Robert ruined things for her especially on her wedding day and for things to end as they did (um, it takes two to tango and the feelings were real between BOTH of them; it’s the producers changing the motivations). Katie sees it all as karma, she ruined someone’s life so why would she end up happy? Katie regretting walking out on Andy. Robert continues to weave his own version of things to Jack and Diane but Jack warns Robert, he’ll have hell to pay… by HIM! In the end, Andy winds up cheating on his current girlfriend with Katie.

A Theory on the Periodization of Wicked: Part Three
OCT 2013 (10th Anniversary) - MAR 2020 (Broadway Shutdown): WICKED TM
this is where date cutoffs start getting hazy. depending on the metric, you could argue this era starts later in February 2014 (the ascension of Jenni Barber, the first Glinda on Broadway to have never performed the role), December 2014 (Jenni's departure), or March 2015 (the closing of 1NT leaving only two Wickeds running in the US for the first time in a decade). i ended up going with the 10th Anniversary because a) it's a milestone acknowledged by the show itself, and b) after the anniversary there was a palpable shift in Wicked's Standard Operating Procedure. with the sunsetting of 1NT in favor of 2NT, which has more flexible (and coincidentally cheaper) staging and could fit in a greater number of regional theaters, the show was increasingly emphasizing its mass market appeal. of course Wicked was always meant to be For Everyone, but the success of Fly Girl (which wasn't Wicked's first ever vlog, but Andy Karl's Oz Blog in 2010 had at most 24K views to Fly Girl's 1.6M) led to a proliferation of similar backstage promotional content designed to show off both Wicked's theatre magic and the fun relatability of its main cast.
this was also a period of on- and offstage streamlining for Wicked, likely to guarantee a more consistent product for the expected broader audience. or, to put it more bluntly: Wicked tended to play it pretty safe during this time. this was most evident in the Broadway casting, where with the exception of Jenni Barber at the beginning and Hannah Corneau at the end every Gelphie consisted of someone who had done it before. in fact, every Broadway Glinda besides Jenni during this period was either a returning Broadway alum, or someone who had been funneled toward Broadway as soon as their contract on tour ended. on one hand this kind of internal elevation is nothing new; the previous era was filled with alums hopping from one production to another. on the other the winnowing of productions down to just Broadway and 2NT brought the practice into sharper focus, particularly with the talent now pretty much going in one direction. there were exceptions among the supporting cast, like Sheryl Lee Ralph and Alexandra Billings, but the runaway success of these unprecedented performances only served to highlight how insular and stagnant casting was getting otherwise.
then there were the performances themselves, which--you know what, let's actually start with the Glindas this time, because as usual the shifts in Glindas are more easily palpable. this period is when Katie Rose Clarke's influence as Glinda becomes...pretty much impossible to deny. there are of course the gestures she either pioneered or codified, which all her successors now either exactly perform or try to approximate. i don't think ALL of these are mandates from on high, mostly because that sounds like a psychotic degree of micromanagement. but even if none of the Katie Things are actually required, and all these Glindas do them just because They Think She's Neat, it still underscores how much of a centralizing presence Katie's interpretation of Glinda has become. she is still the Glinda Who Would Not Leave, even after she finally literally left.
and there was at least some level of acknowledgement of this from the higher ups, because it seems like they were increasingly choosing Glindas--across both Broadway and National Tour(s)--based on their capacity as dramatic actors, rather than comediennes or sopranos. casting belters as Glindas obviously stretches as far back as Hilty, and none of the Glindas during this time were bad singers, or incapable of consistently hitting those B5s and C6s. however, i do find it somewhat telling this is the first period during which (afaik at least) no Glindas were doing opt ups, either because they were told not to by the constantly shifting morass of rules dictating what was and wasn't legal, or just because that wasn't where their ambitions as Glinda lay. even when they weren't singing Glindas were delivering their lines closer to their natural speaking register, presumably because they preferred the emotional nuance that provided over sounding cartoonishly entertaining. they still WERE entertaining, but the ways in which they coaxed laughs and reactions out of the audience relied more on offbeat relatability and unique rapport with their specific Elphies.
you'd think drawing from the same Sad Weird Gay well for their Glindas would make these actresses blandly indistinguishable, but that wasn't the case. each Glinda during this time was passionate enough about their role to have a unique approach to their character, emphasizing what they felt was most important from the baseline. bi by and large they also had the acting chops to follow through, which is...not something i can say about most of their Elphie counterparts on Broadway. Elphabas weren't promoted out of the tour as linearly as the Glindas, and i suspect the reason is they prioritized an Elphie's ability to bring the house down vocally above all else when casting for Broadway. none of them were downright bad as actors, but their interpretations of Elphaba were mostly just...generically passionate, in line with the highkey emotion of their solo numbers.
which stands in stark contrast with a lot of the Elphies on tour, who had comparatively weaker voices but were asking much more interesting questions through their acting. Laurel Harris, for example, asked "what if Elphaba was just. calamitously bisexual?" Alyssa Fox, on the other hand, asked "what if Elphaba was just. calamitously bisexual, but she didn't use a blunderbuss to apply eyeliner?" and of course there was Mary Kate Morrissey, who asked "what if Elphaba was just. calamitously b--well not bisexual at all, but that doesn't mean she wants Fiyero to feel left out, okay?" all three of these Elphies would make it onto Broadway to some extent, but Alyssa and MK had to wait until after this period was over, and Laurel never became principal. Jess Vosk was the strongest exception, because literally nobody on earth would accuse her of having a weak voice; she was Elphaba who very much had a distinctive personality on tour, which only got more distinctive (read: feral) after they let her on Broadway soon after she completed her initial contract. she could hashtag do both. obviously all Elphabas SHOULD, but when given the choice between a stronger actor needing to develop her voice or a vocal powerhouse with limited acting range, the decisionmakers were opting for the latter.
which i guess makes sense: Elphaba is the face of Wicked, and Wicked was, increasinlgly, no longer just a wildly successful musical but a stable cultural institution.

Wait you were the Laura who loved Robert and Andy/Katie and hated the idea of Seb not being Robert's son after all he went through.
I feel like I remember you. I used to talk to you.
But you unfollowed a bunch of people who were up for Robert not being the real father and then I feel like you just dissapeared without maming a big fuss like other have done. 😂😂😂
I never hated Seb as the weirdos who wanted him dead I loved him as much as I adore Robert because he was my fave.
Yes, it was me. I was mostly active on my old account, victoriasugden ( @victoriasugden1 ) I privtated the url victoriasugden, than I moved over here old url peterbeale and then when I left the fandom I changed it to my current url. I didn't really tell anyone apart from a hand full of people I talked to a lot that I was leaving because I didn't think people would care. I'm not special.
I left when Rebecca took Seb and left with Ross - because I thought it was ridiculous to put the boys through all that and then take Seb away after Aaron had come to terms with it. Like what was the point?
Also I've been watching soap since I was a kid - I could see the writing on the wall, the new producer at the time who took over for Iain MacLeod clearly didn't like robron, or at the very least Robert. Sorry can't remember her name. I knew it was going to go downhill from there and I was right so I was very happy I got off that train before it went off the cliff so to speak. I've been casual watching since Ryan left. Can't say I've been too impressed, by far my favourite addition has been Caleb, and that's mostly because I've had a crush on William Ash since I was like 10.
Re Seb. I was never thrilled with the sl - I just tried to make do with what we were given. They got Rebecca pregnant, they had her keep the kid - I wasn't in the writing room, so I just tried to make do. Unlike so many others, when I no longer was willing to do that, instead of kicking off I just quietly left the fandom. And I stand with the like 0.1% of the fandom that shipped Katie/Robert.
It's very funny, cause a couple of days ago I found a copy of TV NOW floating in my room from 2017, it's the Robron wedding edition. Talk about a blast from the past! I really do miss the fandom, not the drama though - but the community. I especially miss how fun it was to live blog! I haven't really joined another fandom since then, I just float around tumblr, giving my opinion and what not.
If you ever want to shoot me a message, feel free!

Have you all seen this article? I'm mostly focused on the part of it where they're going off talking about how many people Rob has killed. Why do some people insist on always painting him as the villain? 😒
---
Rob’s next victim was Max King. He and Max had planned to leave the village together, both desperate for a new start. But when they were going, Max changed his mind and asked Andy to drive him to the station instead.
Furious, Robert drove straight towards Andy. Max panicked and grabbed the wheel and the car went off the road and crashed. Robert managed to rescue Andy, but Max was killed.
Max's death was both Andy and Rob's fault neither one of them wanted to get out of the way in the road essentially playing chicken which resulted in the crash that killed Max. And worse Rob was the one who got most of the blame and ended up banished from the village and everyone he knew for it.
--
When Robert met Aaron, it was clear he would do anything to keep their relationship secret. When Katie found out the truth, and threatened to tell Chrissie, Robert pushed her through a rotting floor and poor Katie crashed to her death.
Katie's death was an accident and you can tell by the way Rob reacts afterwards he never intended for her to die. He was angry with her and he pushed her (which he shouldn't have) but there was nothing to prove he knew she would fall through the floor and die.
--
Later, Paddy Kirk raised suspicions about Rob’s behaviour, and wrote Chrissie an anonymous note to say her husband was cheating. Robert soon worked out who was to blame and left Paddy to die in a grain pit. Luckily Andy rescued him in the nick of time.
Obviously it was awful what Rob did to Paddy but again I don't think he was intending to kill him. He was angry and scared the affair would be found out and decided to teach Paddy a lesson. I think he also regretted it right after he did it because as soon as Paddy fell unconscious into the pit he shut the grain off and was about to jump in and save him (you see him start to take his jacket off) and he only leaves when he hears Andy show up.
--
Robert was also indirectly involved in more deaths thanks to his bitter divorce from Chrissie.
Chrissie set fire to Robert’s car during an argument and though they thought they’d put out the flames, the fire actually spread to some gas canisters. The explosion caused a helicopter to crash on to the village, killing Val Pollard and Ruby Haswell.
This is such a leap to say Rob was in any way responsible for those deaths and the crash. Chrissie's actions were on her even if they were motivated by her anger towards Rob. It was also Rob who saved Adam that day pulling him from the burning car.
--
I know this is just a dumb article but I love Rob and I can't help but defend him. I don't agree with every dumb thing he's done but he's not some horrible monster. A lot of the really bad stuff he even did in the run of the show was when he was scared and running from his own feelings for Aaron (and men in general) and not wanting people to find out about the affair.

yknow what. ppl always say "owen's bi but he appears to prefer women" and it's like, we actually don't know that? yeah he only has onscreen relationships with women, but the circumstances of those relationships keep it from being a matter of preference. the thing about all of owen's canon relationships (excluding katie) is they're all out of him being opportunistic. they're all a matter of "because she was there". and we don't see that happen with a man, because no attractive young man enters torchwood's environment for him to set his eye on. both times one does (mark in combat, andy in corpse day) there's more pressing matters at hand, and of course the latter time he's dead, so there's not much use in bothering anyway. we don't fully know where owen's bisexuality's at, but i don't think canon tells us anything about whether or not he has a preference, at least as far as being more attracted to women or men. but considering he's in 2007, he probably has a preference in regards to what's easier to go about and what he's more comfortable with. which, yeah, he has a line in kkbb about looking for a "proper woman" (eugh), but that's also when they started pushing the towen agenda and any chance of him getting a male love interest, even a one-off one, kinda went out the window. i tend to think gooseberry implies he had feelings for andy, though, but that's definitely up to interpretation, because it's admittedly mostly in the subtext.
#dredged this up from out of my drafts ffdskfj#i think he's absolutely capable of being into men romantically he just. has issues with it#don't get me started on what i think is going on with owen's sexuality#i think there's a lot of internalized homophobia + comphet + insecurity + fear of making his life harder going on there#and i think it's all kind of subtextually present in him too i'm not just pulling it out of my ass#anyway.#txt#torchwood posting#mine

I am going to make a controversial statement here: Karlach. While every BG3 Origin character has a fucked up tragic backstory, and I'd argue that Karlach's "I was betrayed, Sold to One Direction Hell Demons, turned into a living weapon and forced to fight in The Hell War, and upon escaping learned that my very body is fatally incompatible with the concept of escape" is one of the more tragic backstories in the group. However, Karlach's CHARACTER is basically "Yeah, I have experienced The Horrors, but nevermind all that, the world is full of light and I want to give and receive love in equal measure" And while that's a compelling character to WRITE, in the world where each Origin character is a Player who brought their own backstory and character sheet to the table, I don't see the sort of person who would PLAY Karlach the character writing a big tragic backstory to then mostly ignore. Anybody who writes Karlach's backstory would be somebody who would want to wallow in it. In this hypothetical scenario, I think Karlach's player (Let's call her Katie), and Astarion's (Andy) are friends. Katie says "My character will be Karlach! She's a giant Tiefling barbarian who looks super scary but is actually a big 'ol softie who loves hugs!" And then Andy is like: "Because she was SOLD INTO SLAVERY TO DEVILS WHO RIPPED OUT HER HEART AND REPLACED IT WITH AN ENGINE, TURNING HER INTO A LITERALLY HEARTLESS KILLING MACHINE TO FIGHT IN THEIR ETERNAL DEMONS WARS" And Katie is like "Sure!"
I usually tend to imagine that the Origin-compatible party members in Baldur's Gate 3 are notionally player characters, while the non-Origin-compatible party members are notionally NPCs, which is a problem, because there's no way every PC in a hypothetical group that large would have a tragic fucked-up backstory. Like, seven players? At least one of them is going to be playing as some sort of Fucking Creature.

CHAPTER NINE, big time photo shoot
"Cool," Camille comments, looking at the picture of Big Time Rush in Pop Tiger Magazine. "You got your picture in Pop Tiger Magazine," She glances at Andi who stood next to her and then looks at the four boys who each had either a lot of bruises or something broken. "But what happened?"
"A lot." Andi replied. Andi was the only one out of the band that didn't have anything broken or bruised which surprised her. She thought she would at least have something bruised by the end of the day. She was glad that she was able to leave without any injuries.
"You guys look terrible." Camille bluntly said after looking at the boys.
"A lot." Andi replied with a heavy sigh. Andi was the only one out of the band that didn't have anything broken or bruised which surprised her. She thought she would at least have something bruised by the end of the day.
"What happened? That picture happened!" James exclaimed, angrily pointing at the picture with the other three.
"Camille," Kendall said. "Get ready for a twisted tale of adventure, danger, and nail-biting suspense." A look of disgust forms on Andi's face when he spits out a tooth. Kendall's eyebrows raises at seeing the tooth on his hand. "Hey, my tooth came out."
"No, wait. That's mine." Carlos took the tooth and put it back in his mouth, causing the others to look at him with disgust.
"So, we were enjoying a calm afternoon in the crib." Kendall started to explain.
FLASHBACK
Andi follows her mom into the boys' apartment, not surprised to see them playing hockey. She takes the air horn her mom had brought just in case if they needed it for a situation like this and she blares it. She stopped it and smiled when she got the boys immediately stopped playing and stood by each other at hearing the loud sound. Andi rolled her eyes when Carlos shoved Logan to the side randomly and had a smug smile on his face.
"Get your helmets off and your smiles on." Kelly tells the boys. Logan gets off the floor and hits Carlos' shoulder. "Gustavo pulled some strings, and if we hurry, you can make the next Pop Tiger hot-new-star pinup fold-out special Spring poster issue."
Andi chuckles a bit, mumbling under her breath, "Try saying that five times fast."
The boys look at Kelly with confusion. "Kelly, in English, please." Kendall said to her.
Kelly rolls her eyes. "It's picture day! Move it!"
Once the boys got their hockey gear off everyone got in the limo and goes to Rocque Records. "I can't believe we're gonna be in Pop Tiger." James smiled.
Carlos nods in agreement. "I know, it's totally awesome! What's a Pop Tiger?"
From her place between her mom and James, Andi chuckles lightly. "Pop Tiger is a popular magazine mostly only teens and some young adults get."
"Yes," James points at her. "Exactly." He then pulled out a Pop Tiger magazine from his pocket, showing it to Carlos.
Logan glances at him weirdly. "Is that Katie's? Please tell me that's Katie's."
"Yeah, it'd be a little weird if it wasn't Katie's." Andi admitted, looking over at James with a look.
James looks at them with offense. "Hey, this magazine has great articles for guys too, like 'Omg, I I'm'd the wrong BFF'."
Kendall raises his eyebrows as he read the title of an article. "'What one thing would hottie hunk Zak Zevon bring to a desert Island?'" He then sarcastically comments, "I gotta say, I'm curious." He opens the magazine to the page that article is on to find out the answer. "His dog Snowball!"
Andi chuckled, shaking her head. She was never really one for celebrity gossip, but she didn't mind the occasional magazine here and there. Though it was a big deal for the boys to be able to get a photo shoot with the magazine since they were an up and coming band.
"What?" Carlos takes the magazine from Kendall. "What an idiot. Everyone know you bring a Roller Coaster!"
Andi furrows her eyebrows. "How would that even work?"
Logan shakes his head. "It wouldn't. And besides, you don't bring a roller coaster. You bring a flare gun to signal passing ships."
"Oh," Carlos scoffs. "You don't think people are gonna see my extreme looping coconut coaster?"
Logan points at him. "Your Island is stupid."
Carlos glares at him. "Your Island is boring!"
Logan glares back at him. "No, you're boring." The two then start fighting and so Andi pressed the air horn she still held onto to get the two to stop.
"Will you two please stop fighting? Honestly, sometimes you guys act like a bunch of kids." She chided the two boys. The two look down at their laps, mumbling apologies. She smiled and set the air horn on her lap, leaning back against her seat.
Kelly looks at Andi with a thankful smile when Carlos and Logan stop fighting. Andi smiles back at her. Kelly looks at the boys. "You guys need to stay pretty. This picture could end up on the walls of millions of girls."
The boys look at Kelly with wide eyes and each of them ask, "Did you say millions of girls?"
When they got to Rocque Records they immediately heard girls screaming. Andi looks out the window, rolling her eyes at seeing the fangirls of Dak Zevon running towards the limo. A few seconds later the group of fangirls leave and Andi guessed they found out where Dak really was.
"Woah, what was that?" Kendall questioned as each of them got out of the limo.
"That was a pack of screaming fangirls looking for Dak Zevon." Kelly answers, showing the boys a fold-out picture of Dak. "He's in the recording studio recording vocals for Varsity Vampire 2: Game On. Just one great picture in Pop Tiger and those girls will be screaming for Big Time Rush."
At hearing that the boys quickly run up the stairs to the door. Andi and Kelly follow them inside and Andi was surprised to see Jennifer, Kendall's and Katie's mom, and Katie standing in the hangout area. "Hey, what are you guys doing here?" Kendall asked his mom and little sister.
"What, I can't just come down to see my big brother, who I love?" Katie inquired.
Kendall puts a hand over his heart and smiles. Andi chuckles lightly, putting a hand on her hip as she looks at Katie. "Let me guess, you're here for Dak Zevon?"
Katie nods and smiles. "Yep. I just want him to autograph this picture for my wall."
"Really?" James chuckles. "I didn't think you were in to that kind of stuff."
Katie shrugs. "I'm a pre-teen girl." She smiles at the picture she shows them. "He's a cute pop star. I'm not made of stone, you know."
"Oh, yeah. Let me take a look at that." Logan steps forward, taking the magazine from Katie. He then puts the picture of Dak in front of his face and pretends to be him to tease Katie. "Look, I'm Dak Zevon, and I love you Katie Knight."
Andi's eyes grow wide when the group of fangirls run into the room screaming. Kendall grabs her arm, pulling her away from the group of fangirls when they were close to her. He didn't want her to get knocked down. Andi's heart skipped a beat as he pulled her to his side, wrapping a protective arm around her waist. She blushed a little and sent him a thankful look, which he returned with a smile.
The girls tackle Logan to the ground, only to realize that he wasn't Dak. They get off of Logan and Andi and the boys quickly step to the side when the group of fangirls run down the hallway.
"Now, where's Dak recording?" Jennifer asked Kelly.
Kelly apologetically smiles. "Sorry. I'm not allowed to say."
Jennifer puts her hands on Katie's shoulders, turning Katie to face Kelly. "Oh, look into those eyes and say that."
Katie looks at Kelly with puppy dog eyes for a few seconds until Kelly finally caved. "Studio 'B' down the hall to the right. Just stop with those eyes." Kelly pleaded, taking a step back to stand beside her daughter.
That was when Andi realized she and Kendall still stood close to each other and his arm was still wrapped around her. It just felt so natural that she didn't even think about it until now. She looked at him and he blushed a bit when their eyes met. He quickly let her go and she stepped to the side as she crossed her arms, trying not to miss his warmth. Kendall had to admit he didn't want to pull away from her. He wanted to stay like that a bit longer, but he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable.
Andi watches Logan stand up with wide eyes, seeing that he had one arm had somehow got out of the armhole of his long sleeve shirt. After he calmed down he follows Carlos, James, and Kendall to the studio where they heard loud music.
Andi lets out a sigh, glancing over at her mom with narrowed eyes when she saw her mom looking at her with a smirk. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"I saw it." Kelly responds, referring to her and Kendall being close earlier. "You and Kendall, getting all touchy-feely. I saw it."
"There was no getting touchy-feely." Andi denies, feeling her face heat up. "He just didn't want me to get run over by a pack of fangirls."
"Uh-huh." Kelly says, raising an eyebrow. "Sure. If you say so."
Andi sends her a small glare. "Alright, fine. Maybe there was a little bit of getting touchy-feely," Andi admits reluctantly, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment as her heart raced. "But it was just a momentary thing. We were caught up in the chaos of the fangirl stampede, that's all."
Kelly chuckles softly, giving Andi a knowing look. "Sure, honey. Whatever you say."
Andi rolls her eyes playfully, but she couldn't shake off the warm feeling that lingered from being so close to Kendall. She couldn't deny that there was something special about their connection, something that made her heart flutter and her cheeks flush whenever he was near. It was a feeling that she hadn't felt before, and it was a feeling that she hoped would only grow stronger.
Andi follows her mom into the recording studio where it was set up as a photo shoot area. Bright lights lit up the room, a white back drop was set up, and there were fog machines and cameras. "This is so not like school picture day." Kendall noticed.
"Oh!" Marcos realizes that they were there and walks over to the group, holding his camera. He smiles at the boys. "Are you ready to rock my camera?"
"What?" The four boys questioned since they couldn't hear him over the loud music.
Marcos stops the music, throwing the remote off to the side before looking back at the boys. "That's better! So how are you guys doing?"
The boys start speaking at once, not really for sure what to say. Gustavo walks over to stand beside Marcos. "Boys, this is Marcos Del Posey, the best teen idol photographer on the planet.
"Some say photographer," Marcos smiles. "Some say magician. Mira. One camera." Andi blinks, leaning backwards a bit when he suddenly takes pictures of them. She didn't expect him to do that and the sudden bright light of the camera flash caught her off guard. "The boys quickly shake their heads and exclaim, "No!"
Marcos frowns. "Marcos invented the stuffy puppy shot."
"Yeah, no." Gustavo takes the stuffed puppy from him, throwing it to the side of the room. Gustavo looks at the boys. "What I want is a simple shot of the four best friends just chilling and being themselves."
Kendall smiles and points at Gustavo in a sign of agreement. "I totally agree."
Gustavo points back at him. "I totally don't care. Now get on the backdrop and look handsome."
The four boys go over to stand in front of the backdrop. Everything was going great until Carlos and Logan started arguing. Andi overheard something about Carlos bringing a fridge packed with ice cream to his island and Logan argued it wouldn't work. They started slap fighting each other in front of poor Kendall who leaned back with a grimaced and tried not to get accidentally hit. Andi grinned when she raised the air horn she still held and used it again. She had to admit she loved using the air horn. Carlos and Logan immediately stopped fighting and look over at er.
"I love this thing." Andi muttered to herself, a smirk forming on her face.
"Dogs, heel!" Gustavo tells the boys. "We need a great picture before the Pop Tiger Magazine gets here in two hours. And now look into the camera and think about something funny."
"You mean like that?" Kendall asked, gesturing to Marcos who was bent over looking into his bag right beside the fog machine and it looked like the fog was coming out of him. The boys start laughing at the scene, Carlos even wrapped his arms around James and Kendall while Kendall had a hand on Logan's shoulder. Andi honestly thought it looked like this could be a great picture.
"Take the picture now before something goes wrong!" Gustavo exclaimed.
Marcos glances at him with offense. "What could go wrong? I am Marcos!"
Kelly shakes her head. "Oh, you don't know these boys, so snap the picture now."
Marcos shrugs, gets up, and goes over to stand behind the camera. He was about to take the picture when someone shouts, "Freeze!"
Andi looks over along with the others, not expecting to see two police officers. "Gustavo Rocque, you failed to report to your court-ordered community service." The male officer said as they both walk over to take ahold of Gustavo's arms.
Gustavo looks at them with confusion. "Officers, I don't know what you're talking about."
"I'm talking destroying Matthew McConaughey's mailbox with…" The woman officer looks over at Kelly, letting go of Gustavo's arm to grab Kelly's arm. "Her."
Andi looks at her mom with wide eyes and scolds her. "Mom!"
Kelly panics, pointing at Gustavo. "He made me be the lookout!"
"I still can't believe you went along with it." Andi sighed. She hoped that her mom and Gustavo would be okay.
"Hey, I'm the victim here." Gustavo pointed out. "He plays the bongos 'till 3 in the morning!"
"Let's go." The male officer said, pushing Gustavo out of the studio.
"Wait, what?!" Andi watched with worry and shock as the officers push Kelly and Gustavo out of the studio.
Andi looks at the boys, sharing a panicked look with them before she looks at Marcos when he speaks. "Drama." Marcos got a remote out of his pocket, turning the music back on. Andi furrowed her eyebrows when he gets a stuffed puppy and she really hoped that this wouldn't go down hill, but she had a bad feeling that iA few minutes have past and Andi was quite surprised to see Griffin and two of his assistants walk into the room. "Great news, everyone. I'm in charge." Griffin announced and a confused expression forms on Andi's and the boys' faces.
Griffin walks over to stand beside Marcos, looking at the boys with a smile. "Now, let's get my big-time boys on the walls of teen girls everywhere."
Andi lets out a small sigh of relief and the boys go back into their positions they were in the first time they tried taking the picture. Marcos went to press the button to take the picture. "All I have to do is push this button and…"
"Wait." Griffin interrupts and Marcos stops. "This isn't bad, but…Change everything." Griffin smiles. "We need something bolder, something nobody's ever seen before."
Now the boys were dressed in Matadors outfits standing in front of a space themed backdrop. It was obvious that Andi and the boys were the only ones who were not happy with this idea, but no one seemed to care about that.
"Space Matadors." Griffin grinned, gesturing to the boys.
Marcos smiles. "I love it!"
"He's right." Logan pointed at Griffin.
"No one's ever seen this before." The four boys spoke in a monotone voice. would.
"This is really messed up." Carlos commented.
"Our first picture, and it's going to brand us forever as Space Matadors!" James angrily remarked.
Logan sighs. "This is not going to impress millions of girls. I would say six or seven max."
"Probably not even that." Andi voiced, sheepishly smiling at Logan when he sent her a small glare. She felt bad for the boys and wished there was some way she could help them out, but she wasn't sure how.
"Smile pretty, pretty." Marcos said to the boys, going to press the button to take the picture.
"Wait." Griffin stopped Marcos from taking the picture causing Marcos to let out a frustrated sigh while Andi and the boys let out sighs of relief.
"The teen girl inside me says something's missing." Griffin commented.
"Marcos knows what it is." Marcos left the room to grab something.
Andi looks back at the boys when she heard Carlos, James, and Logan say, "Kendall."
"Don't panic." Kendall tells them. He points at the door. "In three seconds, Gustavo will barge through that door and fix everything like he always does."
"One…"
"Two…"
Disappointment falls on Andi's and the boys' faces at seeing Marcos holding stuffed animals in his hands instead of seeing Gustavo. Marcos smiles. "Giant stuffy puppies for everyone."
"That's not Gustavo." Carlos states the obvious. "This is going very bad." Andi sighed and the boys nodded in agreement.
Marcos hands the boys each a stuffed puppy before going back to the camera. "Perfect." Griffin complimented. "This photo is now bold and cute and cuddly. Let's shoot it."
"Smile pretty, pretty." Marcos speaks to the boys who forces a smile at the camera.
"Okay." Kendall nods. "Now we panic."
BACK TO PRESENT DAY
"Okay, I get it." Camille now sat on a chair beside Andi who sat next to her. There were also even a few people who had come over to listen in on the story. "You guys didn't want to look like Space Matadors, but then what happened?"
"Top Teen photographer Marcos was about to take the picture when…"
CONTINUATION OF FLASHBACK
Marcos frustratingly waves his arms around for a second when Kendall speaks up. "Wait! We can't take this photo."
Andi furrows her eyebrows, wondering what he was going to say. Griffin looks at Kendall with confusion. "Why not?"
"Because it's not finished." Kendall replies. "I mean, sure, it's bold, and…"
"And cute and cuddly." James adds. "But we don't have, uh…"
"A snowmobile." Carlos randomly said and everyone looked at him with confusion.
"Sure." Kendall nods, going along with it. "With a snowmobile you're bold, cuddly, and dangerous."
Logan nods. "It's the pop pinup hat trick."
"The Space Matadors are right." Griffin agrees and then told his assistants to get him a snowmobile. Griffin looks at everyone. "Everyone take five for a snowmobile break!"
The boys throws the stuffed animals on the floor, rushing into Gustavo's office. Andi follows them, seeing that they took the hats off. The hats were awful as well with the whole outfit in her opinion. "We cannot let Griffin take this photo." Kendall speaks angrily. He points at Carlos, looking at him with a smile. "By the way, kudos on the snowmobile idea."
Kendall sits on the edge of the desk beside where James was standing while Carlos points back at Kendall. "Which is why I'm taking one with me on my desert island."
Andi went to sit on the edge on the other side of the desk as Logan slaps Carlos' shoulder. "A desert island has a tropical climate, professor."
"Will you just let me have fun on my desert island? It's mine!" Carlos complained.
"Well," James gets his lucky comb out of his pocket. "I'm taking my lucky comb."
Logan looks at him with furrowed eyebrows. "But you're alone. No one's gonna see your hair."
"Hey, I'm there." James pointed out and Andi rolled her eyes with a smile.
"Focus!" Kendall called out, causing his friends to nod in agreement and look at him.
"Right." They spoke in unison.
"We need to figure out a way to change the photo." Kendall continued.
"Yes, from cuddly space matadors to…" Logan looks around for an idea when he noticed a Pop Tiger magazine laying on a nearby couch with it open to a Dak Zevon picture." Something like this." He said, putting the picture in front of him. His friends all smile and nod in agreement.
"There he is!"
Carlos jumps on the couch as a group of fangirls ran into the room. Kendall had grabbed Andi's arm again to pull her close and out of the way of the stampede, wrapping his arms around her. Andi's heart fluttered and she couldn't deny that she enjoyed the feeling of being so close to him.
"It's not him." One of the girls realized and then all the fangirls ran out of the room, screaming.
Kendall reluctantly pulls away from Andi to get up and close the door quickly as the fangirls left. "Okay, let's put this photo away before someone gets killed." He decided, picking up the photo of Dak Zevon in the magazine. Andi hated how much she missed his touch, but she was glad he was there to help her out of the way of those fangirls.
Andi nods, looking at the boy who was still on the floor. "For Logan's safety."
"Now, where's Gustavo, 'cause he should be saving our photo!" James angrily exclaimed.
"Gustavo's probably not coming back for awhile." Andi sighed.
Kendall points at her in a sign of agreement as he nods before he looks at her and the others. "Which means we have to do this on our own."
"Ouchies." Logan groans from his spot on the floor and James reaches a hand down to help him up. When Logan gets up, Andi notices his jacket was on backwards. Logan looks down at himself with panic. "Is my head on backwards?"
"No, genius." Andi chuckles. "Only your jacket." Logan sighed with relief.
Grinning, Carlos puts his helmet on. "And we're in charge now." He looks at Kendall. "What do we do?"
"We're gonna take a secret photo and give that to the Pop Tiger messenger when he gets here." Kendall answered.
"James, you're in charge of wardrobe." Kendall points at James and James nods. "We need cooler clothes. No offense to Matadors. Logan, we need to get this room super bright like Marcos' lights." Kendall tells Logan. Logan nods, looking around the room until he notices two lamps behind him and picks them up. Kendall points at Carlos. "And Carlos, you're gonna break down any door that stands in our way."
"Great, but we still need a camera and a white backdrop." James reminded the group.
Andi grabs a nearby remote, pressing a button making a white backdrop fall behind where Carlos, James, and Logan are standing. She smiles. "Only need a camera. And I can probably try to get one of Marcos' cameras." She suggests, setting the remote down. "But we have to be quick."
Kendall smiles, nodding in approval. "Okay, great. Thanks."
"And when are we gonna do all of this?" Logan asked.
"We've got plenty of time." Kendall responds. "You know how long it's going to take for Griffin to find a snowmobile in L.A?"
All of a sudden the door opens causing Carlos, James, and Logan to quickly move over to where Andi and Kendall are sitting on the desk while they all screamed. Andi and Kendall had instinctively grabbed onto each other and both of their hearts were beating fast. Griffin is at the door on a snowmobile, revving the engine. "Look what daddy found. Now go let's take the picture."
Andi and the boys were back in the studio and now the boys were on the snowmobile. "My inner teen girl is so putting this picture on her wall." Griffin smiled.
"Yeah, I would not." Andi muttered under her breath. She would not put this picture up on her wall and she's sure no other teen girl would either. This wasn't a good idea. The boys didn't want this. Andi felt bad for them, but what could she do to help? She couldn't exactly stop them. They just had to wait for the right moment when they can take the secret photo.
"My inner teen girl says we need…" Marcos grabs another stuffed puppy. "One more stuffy puppy."
Griffin looks at him. "Your inner teen girl is wrong."
Marcos shrugs, throwing the stuffed puppy over his shoulders and goes to take the picture. "Wait!" Kendall shouts. Marcos groans. "We need more fog."
"He's right." Marcos agrees with Kendall. "We need more fog."
James and Logan get up and start putting more fog in the room, but it got to the point where they all needed to leave the room to breathe. "That might have been too much fog." Marcos coughed.
"Alright, everyone. Fog break. Five minutes." Griffin told everyone and he and Marcos walks off.
Kendall points at Andi who shows the camera that she snuck out. "Secret photo time."
"Let's go! Let's go!"
Andi and the boys rush down the stairs to where the wardrobe room is at only to find that it was locked. They stood back as Carlos runs at the door, getting it to open.
"That was fun!" Carlos exclaimed after a loud crash is heard.
The other three boys rush into the room, closing the door behind them while Andi stayed out in the hallway, making sure that no one was coming by. A few seconds later Andi looks over when the door opens, furrowing her eyebrows at seeing that they looked nice from only the waist up. "I hope you guys know you still have those Matadors pants on."
"We know." James rolls his eyes. "We'll just shoot it from the waist up."
"Okay." Andi nods and gestures for them to get going. "Boys, let's go!"
Once they get back to Gustavo's office the boys put their Matadors jackets and hats out of the way. James closed the door while Logan set up the lamps and Andi got the camera ready.
"Alright, boys. Smile." Andi said once they stood in front of the white backdrop. Andi makes sure the picture will be from the waist u. When she was about to take the picture she saw a red light on the camera. She groans. "Got a problem."
"Problem?" Kendall furrows his eyebrows. "What problem?"
"Camera's dead." Andi sighed with annoyance. Of course this would happen.
The boys drop their heads in defeat after hearing that. The five of them look over at the door when they hear someone knocking. The boys quickly get their Matadors outfits on. The five teens stood in front of the camera and the light set up they made to hide it from Griffin.
"Hey, fellas. The fog's gone." Griffin informs them. "Let's take that picture."
The boys fake their excitement and the five teens follow Griffin and his assistants back to the studio.
"Alright, the Pop Tiger messenger is on it's way." Griffin spoke as the boys got back on the snowmobile with holding the stuffed puppies. "Now, let's take this picture."
"Wait!" This time Andi shouted along with the boys. They were getting desperate and didn't want the photo to be taken.
"No more waiting!" Marcos yelled, looking annoyed and frusturated.
Griffin gets his two assistants to go stand on either side of the picture set up area so the boys couldn't escape. "Now, smile pretty, pretty." Marcos smiled.
"Well, maybe girls will like Space Matadors on a star-mobile holding stuffy puppies." Carlos nervously smiles at his friends.
"They won't." James and Logan said to Carlos.
"Well, this'll never work." Kendall dropped the stuffed puppy, taking out the Pop Tiger magazine, brought the fan near him closer to him, and put the magazine in front of the fan.
The magazine gets blown over to Griffin and he exclaims, "I've been hit!"
"Oh my gosh, it's Dak Zevon!" Andi exclaimed, going along with Kendall's plan.
Andi quickly steps back when she hears the screams of fangirls, her eyes growing wide as they tackle Griffin to the floor and end up dragging Marcos to the floor. The boys threw the stuffed puppies to the floor and get off the snowmobile, moving to stand beside Andi. Andi quickly caught the camera when it was thrown into the air near her.
"I can't believe that actually worked." Logan smiled.
"Let's go, go, go!" Andi shouts urgently and gestures for the boys to go to the office, wanting to get this picture taken in time. While they get out to the hallway, the boys start to take off their Matadors outfits.
"Andi, dogs, what is going on here?" Gustavo questioned as he and Kelly rushed over to them, both wearing orange jumpsuits. Andi was confused about why they were wearing orange jumpsuits but she didn't say anything about it.
"Oh, we're saving our photo from Griffin." Kendall replied, gesturing to the studio.
Each of them look over when they see the messenger for Pop Tiger magazine drive in on a scooter. "Here to pick up a photo card for Pop Tiger Magazine."
Andi and the boys point at him, each of them speaking at the same time, "Coming right up."
Andi and the boys go to Gustavo's office and while the boys get their jackets off Andi makes sure that this camera she has is charged. Gustavo and Kelly walk in, looking around with confusion as Logan turn on the lamps that he had set up.
"'Kay, boys. Ready?" Andi asks after the boys got in their positions and had the clothes they picked out on. When they nod and smile at her, she returns the smile. "Smile pretty, pretty." She said in the same accent as Marcus did. She took the picture from the waist up and the boys let out a sigh of relief at hearing the click of the camera. The Puerto Rican girl got the memory card out of the camera and handed it to the Pop Tiger messenger with a polite smile.
"See you in Pop Tiger, boys." The messenger said to the boys before he left and the boys cheered, happy they finally got the photo they wanted.
They stop and turn to Gustavo when he speaks. "I don't know what happened here today, but maybe we should leave the dogs alone more often." He said as he shares a look with Kelly. "And I'll be more assured nothing bad will happen 'cause Andi will be with them and she's more responsible than the four of them put together." Andi grinned, pleased by the compliment from him since it was rare.
Everyone looks over at the vent in the wall when the gate is kicked off. Katie stands up with a wide smile on her face. "Hey, guys. Look who I found today." She pointed to her left as Dak Zevon stood beside her. Andi's eyes grow wide and her mouth formed into an 'o' shape. She wasn't expecting to see him and Katie. She thought it was sweet that Katie helped Dak out.
"I think she just saved my life." Dak chuckled lightly with a small smile, putting a hand on Katie's shoulder which caused the young girl to grin.
"That's Dak Zevon!" Katie shouted excitedly.
Andi and the boys quickly tell her to be quiet and at hearing the fangirl's screams, Katie pushed Dak down behind the desk so he was hidden. Andi quickly got out of the way, hiding behind her mom as the pack of screaming fangirls ran into the room and tackled the four boys.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Huh, who knew such a simple picture could bring you so close to death." Camille remarked.
James smiles. "But it was totally worth it."
Carlos nods. "'Cause we're gonna be on the wall of millions of girls."
"All over the country." Logan added.
Camille chuckles lightly. "Of course you are. 'Cause Dak Zevon is on the other side."
The four boys sit up, looking at her with wide eyes along with Andi. "What?!"
Camille turns the picture around, showing them the picture of Dak Zevon, and Andi and the boys groan.
Andi pouts, leaning back against the chair she sat on with crossed arms. "We did all of that work for nothing."

June 3 2023 Boulder County

We went this morning to the World of Wonder Children's Museum in downtown Lafayette for our grand nephew, Indigo's FIFTH birthday party!

This is a MAGICAL place and I was so happy our niece, Aimey and her husband, Philip, Indie's parents, decided to have the party here. The people attending were mostly family, but there were also some of Indie's friends from his preschool.

Our niece, Autumn, our sister, Fran's youngest daughter arrived a few days ago from Maine to spend time with her sister, Aimey, and her family. It was the first time Maple met Autumn's son, Maddox, and they got along pretty well.

It was wonderful to have our family together again, even if all the members weren't able to be with us. I was so happy for Fran that she was able to spend time with all her daughters in one place.

Fran was beaming from happiness at being with her daughters and grandsons. Indigo had a marvelous time sharing the excitement with his cousins and his friends from school.

Hobie and Katie were also happy to be included in the fun and to see Hobie's cousins again after a few years during the pandemic when it wasn't possible to be together much, if at all.

Indie and Maddox were adorable together and Indie was very protective of his little cousin.

We had a great time but we needed to leave before the party was over because we were hosting another event at our house in the evening.

Bruce and I agreed to be hosts, along with other generous supporters of Blue Sky Bridge, a local nonprofit, of a dinner for about thirty people as part of a fundraiser called "A Moveable Feast". Our dinner featured food that was vegan and gluten free. We contracted with Greenpoint Catering to prepare and serve the food. Their employees, including the servers, bartenders, and, Dawn, who was the captain of the crew and had done a marvelous job of catering many of our holiday parties over the years, were very professional and people remarked on the quality of the food and the service. Our friend, Beverly, also helped me organize the event and welcome our guests.

Our friends Ruby and Rebecca and Rebecca's boyfriend, Nelo, provided the entertainment with relaxing background music and a rap performance by Nelo, who is considered to be one of the best rappers in Denver, which delighted our guests.

People dined in the kitchen and dining room and outside on our back deck. It rained a bit before the guests arrived and we weren't sure we'd be able to use the outside spaces, but it cleared up in time.

It was the first time we had met many of the guests, since they chose our dinner party from among the more than ten offerings on the Blue Sky Bridge website, but a few of our friends also attended, including Audrey, Andy, Eric, Shannon, and Jason.

Jason was one of our Dreamer Scholars from the Boulder County I Have a Dream Foundation (IHDF) Pioneer Elementary class and we have known him since he was eight years old. He has been very successful in his career in telecommunications and he has become a philanthropist and a very active supporter of IHDF, including currently serving on their board of directors. It was lovely to meet his wife, Emily, for the first time, even though I had seen her and their kids many times in photos because I follow Jason on social media.

What a lovely evening it turned out to be and, by the time the guests had left, the caterers and Beverly and I had finished cleaning up, it was after midnight and I was ready to retire after a very busy and exciting day.

End of Slutty Summer
A/N: Just a small bit since I’ve been mostly MIA with work schedules changing and getting my wisdom teeth taken out just over a week ago.
Thanks for being patient and enjoy!
Summary: A friend of the White Rabbit women find out that Amber is officially off the market.
May 2011
“Alright Lee, spill,” Jack Barakat asked as he entered the studio next door where White Rabbit was rehearsing.
“There’s this thing called knocking” Lizzy teased.
“Okay Alvin. So are they your Simon and Theodore?” Jack teased, pointing to Katie and Ella, making Lizzy laugh with a nod.
“What are you on about?” Amber asked, walking out from the control room with a dopey smile on her lips as she looked at a text.
“That. That right there. That look,” Jack pointed with narrowed eyes.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about?”
“Ella?” Jack asked, looking at the bassist who laughed.
“Oh you didn’t know?”
“Know what?” He asked, confusion crossing his features.
“Slutty Summer isn’t having a repeat. Little miss Drummer went and got herself a boyfriend,” Ella teased and Amber stuck her tongue out. Jack put his hand to his heart.
“Little miss boink anything that moves got herself locked down?” Jack teased and Amber punched his arm.
“Who is it?”
“Andy,”
“Amber if you didn’t know, that’s a common ass name. Andy what?”
“Biersack,” she smiled and looked at her phone that buzzed with a text inviting her and the White Rabbit girls to a party at his own drummer’s place tonight.
“Speaking of which, he just invited us to a party at CC’s tonight,” Amber told the other women and they all shrugged.
With Warped starting in little over a month, they didn’t bother putting themselves through trying to finalize a record and promote while getting ready for their second year on Warped Tour. So the women had nothing left to do but get ready.
“Well as long as we can still get up to our tour shenanigans, I’m glad. But if he treats you badly, the guys and I are kicking his ass,” Jack promised, pulling the drummer in for a side hug.
“Oh how brave of you to volunteer the guys for a fight that won’t happen,” Amber laughed.
“Yeah considering you were his spank bank apparently. According to CC,” Ella teased and Amber’s eyes widened a bit.
“Has he met your dad and the guys yet?” Jack asked, plopping on the couch, grabbing a spare guitar, which earned him a raised eyebrow from Katie.
“Not yet. We haven’t been dating officially that long yet. But I wanna have him at least meet my dad and uncle Nikki before Warped starts,” Amber shrugged and grabbed a water bottle.
“Dad sniffed the rat, heads up,” Ella warned, knowing her father’s look when Amber was at the Sixx home yesterday.
“Your mom hasn’t said anything yet, right?” Amber asked, panicked.
“Of course not! Taylor Sixx keeps our secrets,” Ella smiled broadly.
“You might wanna get on that before Nikki sniffs it out himself,” Jack laughed, grabbing a handful of Goldfish crackers from the table.

Today I found out thanks to DunderMifflin reddit that they originally wanted Jim to cheat on Pam with Cathy and have them be broken up at end. Lucky John really fought it so they dropped it. I am so glad that didn't happen or the show would have gone down as worst finale instead of one of best
Yes I remember when John talked about this on Brian Baumgartner’s podcast (it was in Office Deep Dive - John Krasinski pt 2 if you’re so inclined to listen) saying he and Cathy were supposed to “make-out” and he put his foot down about it. He was off by a couple seasons of when it happened (said it was in S5 or 6 when it was in the latter half of S8) and in the same pod episode seemed to mix up Katy and Karen’s storylines while getting both wrong, so I’m hoping he remembering the Cathy bit as worst that it was. Like maybe it was a kiss completely initiated by Cathy that Jim quickly rejected rather than Jim willingly making out with her. Either way, it sucks to hear that the writers were even considering taking it that far.
I’ve heard conflicting things about if Jim and Pam were suppose to be fully split up by the series finale. In Andy Greene’s book published in 2020 there’s a bit that made it sounds like a Jim and Pam’s split was written in the scripts and actually reached the filming stage and was only reversed by major edits. But then there’s quotes from Greg Daniels and Brett Forrester making it sound like the writers were considering splitting them up and having them reconcile in the finale but they bailed on the idea before it ever got to a script. Maybe Office Ladies will clear up some of this confusion when they reach S9.
Whatever they considered in either of these storylines I’m glad it mostly ended up on the cutting room floor. It’s frustrating that the writers’ when trying to come up with conflict for Jim and Pam’s story typically couldn’t think beyond “Attractive new character likes Jim or Pam, will Jim/Pam stay true or throw it all away for (new character with no last name)???” For all it problems, the Athlead storyline introduced an interesting and very real conflict to Jim and Pam’s marriage of how Jim’s new high demand job affected their relationship and it had the bonus of *not* being about potential infidelity … that is until they retconned in Brian the boom guy and well that’s a whole other can of worms. Considering all the other terrible storylines apparently being bounced around, we’re probably lucky we only ended up with Brian and that he was ejected from the show about as abruptly as he was introduced.
Agreed though that The Office Finale is one of the best and a big reason why is because they thought better of these “make Jim and Pam cheat on each other and split up” ideas.

June 4th summary
We watched from 2014/10/23 to 2014/10/29.
Robert's first scenes. His fiance Chrissie and her dad, who turns out to be Lawrence, decide to buy Home Farm. Robert doesn't want to move back to Emmerdale because of bad memories - he doesn't get on with his brother Andy, as they have both been with Andy's fiance Katie and had a big falling out over it. Lawrence doesn't like Robert and hopes that by moving to where Robert hates, it might make him leave and not marry Chrissie after all. Andy accepts Robert's offer to be head groundskeeper, just to annoy him. Lawrence and Chrissie also take on Nicola, mostly to annoy Robert, and agree to let Katie move her horses up there.
Moira refuses to give Maxine more money and Adam gets beaten badly enough to end up in hospital. Aaron tells Cain the whole story. Some of the cows get poisoned and die, so Cain decides it's time to pay Maxine a visit. He threatens her while Aaron steals her two dogs. They turn out to bark incessantly so they decide they'll have to move them somewhere else. Ross shows up, wanting to see Finn.

also what I can't stop thinking about is, where classic Emmerdale is, Robert has either already had his farm hand romance or is JUST about to, which leaves us at
1) Christopher!bert who, as anybody who knows CE knows was a lovely but deeply unhappy and lonely little guy who didn't feel like he had a place where he fit in the village, and becomes even more isolated after his mum dies, SO. there's only a brief window where it could've happened pre jack in jail and an even briefer window post jack in jail, so I'm inclined to think it happened before jack went to prison but after Sarah died, because Jack was a fucking mess at the time especially when it came to his treatment of Robert (and I fully believe he would've hired some random lad to help on the farm for £2 a day as opposed to paying his kids). but then the whole situation escalated and the Incident just became something they both collectively buried
OR
2) Karl!bert, who has come back from Spain a lot more confident, with the plan of turning his family against Andy and ALSO stealing his new girlfriend. but also narratively, there's no other way to put it, he's returned as an Extremely horny teenager. so it's like, he goes after Katie because yeah he finds her fit so why not but mostly he wants to stab his brother in the back (which is fair) but also develops a thing with the farmhand? which gets stunted before it can get started, leading to years of repression and escalating bad behaviour (which we support)
#in my head the farmhand thing happened with Christopher!bert purely because#Christopher!bert was the gayest little gay boy to ever gay and the Angst fits better#however personality wise it does fit well with karl!bert#classic Emmerdale#robert sugden#btw im not THAT insane that im expecting the addition (i dont like 'retcon' because it isnt) to fit perfectly or even at all on screen#because it wont and theres absolutely no way they were planning that lol#it's just something at the front of my mind when i watch this period of him because like#on top of EVERYTHING else its a formative experience for screwed up he was when he met aaron#gah

I definitely want those character matches for them and their tv show counterparts! I’m one of those people who will watch a show and then imagine other characters (or irl people I know) as the ones on the show lol. Like for The Office, Asra is definitely Jim and Julian is Andy. Lucio is Michael… that’s all I got rn
The accuracy! *chef's kiss* I'll be honest it's been literal months and I still can't pin-point any absolutely exact ones. I have Ideas but mostly shows I personally watch.
Ex: LetterKenney
Asra = Wayne
Nadia = Tanis or Katy
Julian = Darry
Muriel = Squirrelly Dan
Portia = ~oh~ Bonnie McMurry
Lucio = McMurry or Shoresy
Ex: Archer
Asra = Cyril
Nadia = LANAAAA
Julian = Krieger
Muriel = Woodhouse..? (because.. doing Lucio's.. biding..? Idk)
Portia = Pam
Lucio = ...Archer
Honestly besides those 2 I can't make up my mind haha I'm sure they all can though.. or at least argue about it in some cases until they make an accurate enough roster. I can try to come up with more and add them here but feel free to share your ideas! I know there are alot floating around already like Steven Universe but tbh there are sooo many characters there alone to choose from.

howdy 🤠 music ask: 1. 2. 3. 8. 13. 14. 29. 32. 35. 42. 46. 48.
Hi! Thank you!
1) Are you an albums person or a singles person?
Singles, but I listen to new albums front-to-back when they come out and really love concept albums or when albums have a connecting thread through the songs.
2) Do you still buy CDs (or other physical media)?
I buy vinyl records! Mostly because they’re pretty and I can get a better look at the album art tbh. I still have my CDs which is nice because it’s the closest I can get to hugging a song/album but I rarely buy new ones.
3) Do you listen to more oldies or more current stuff?
I’m not sure. Most of what I listen too came out in the last 20 years.
8) Is there an artist or song that you like, despite being of a genre you don't usually like?
I don’t really like techno but I like Katy On A Mission by Katy B a lot after I heard the (very different) Arctic Monkeys cover of it.
13) Who’s the most popular/mainstream artist you listen to?
Lizzo, Taylor Swift
14) A song or album from the 50s or earlier:
Dream A Little Dream Of Me!!! It was first recorded in 1931 but my favorite version is sung by Ella Fitzgerald in 1957 (nothing against Louis Armstrong on the track but I prefer the version with JUST Ella Fitzgerald which I think you can only find on YouTube)
29) Songs you love to dance to:
Obsesión - Aventura
Volví - Aventura & Bad Bunny
Suavemente - Elvis Crespo
Como La Flor - Selena
Sway - Michael Bublé
No Scrubs - TLC
One, Two Step - Ciara ft. Missy Elliott
32) When was the last time you cried when listening to a song, if ever?
I think the only song that has ever made me cry was The Clock Was Tickin’ by Brandon Flowers
35) A song you like in a language you don’t speak:
Lemon - Kenshi Yonezu
42) Your favorite(s) “no skips” album(s):
Teatro d’ira - Måneskin
Razzmatazz - IDKHow
1981 Extended Play- IDKHow
Evermore - Taylor Swift
46) Do you like comedy songs? If so, do you have a favorite?
I don’t really listen to comedy songs beyond SNL musical skits (particularly when Andy Samberg/The Lonely Island was still there). The first ones to come to mind are Boombox (ft. Julian Casablancas) and Threw It On The Ground
48) Who’s an artist you think it’s criminally underrated and deserves more recognition?
King No-One - they’re a small indie rock band from England (which means they will never come to the US 😞). Highlights: Anti-Christ, Toxic Love, Out of My Mind
Meg Myers - !!!!! Rock musician. Music that makes you go “AGHHHHHGGGHHGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!” Highlights: Desire, Jealous Sea, Numb, Sorry
Alex Turner - he’s technically not underrated but he really is the best lyricist of our generation and it irks me when he and Arctic Monkeys are written off as “cringe 2014 tumblr/aesthetic music.” Plus, beyond writing lyrics, he has a really good voice, musical knowledge, and integrity when it comes to the music industry.
