it was so long ago i don't know who made these. they used posts from some imparsable blog on this site. i don't know what that blog was either. please do not be mad at me.

they'd all be scenes from psychonauts 1. this one would be bobby threatening raz after basic braining.

this one would be raz staring unamused at morry's brainless body as all the adults laugh behind him. i did start drawing this one but it was terrible and unfinished so i didn't post it.

really good question. that i have no answer to. above are a couple concepts. designing is not my strong suit but raz is a hard character to design for in general.

tried going with the Aquato blues/pattern/symbols with 1+2. and also attempted a circus vibe based on the pn1 outfits for 3. but 1-3 feel really mean. haha. i dont think he'd base his portal on the thing he ran from. Anyway, based 4 on his helmet for something different. because his pn1 bag also carries that red+brown motif. and i think its cute.

it's difficult since he doesn't really have a set aesthetic. and don't say that it's circus. reference what i said before. and really, what does circus even look like.

Milla's got her eccentric color patterns and blobs. Oleander is military manly esque. Lili even has a door, that diamond pattern motif. super sick. Sasha of course you know. the thing with the blocks. the name escapes me. but you know it.

i mostly stuck with the plain door with only the custom pattern customization. but there are really cool creative doors thought up by deedee. awesome.

So I initially wanted to wait until I made full refs for my main 5 ocs and others before I drop any other fanart stuff for them, but then I kinda felt bad for not uploading stuff for them, especially when I talk a lot about them, and knowing you guys, you probably want to to see what they look like. So I decided to just do simple one image refs for now and then upload the full refs with bios and other stuff on them at a later date.

With that being said, I would like to officially introduce Gnull, son of Gruell, and Maxx's cousin( Gruell married the sister of Maxx's late grandmother) he might be a bit rough and intimidating, but he is nothing like his awful slave master of a father. With a passion for cooking and his rough around the edges personally, Gnull will do anything to prove he's nothing like his " dear old dad" while also helping his Uncle Mozar take care of Maxx while the three Triceratons are on earth.

I personally think I did a good job on him, though I can definitely tell he will need some upgrades when I make his full ref. Honestly, my love for him has grown quite a lot as I keep developing him( Kinda helps that he's a Triceraton). And to think he wasn't initially that important when I first thought of him.

Oh, and here's a zoom in on his eyes since the details are kinda hard to see( His dark red eyes also kinda hide his pupils, but I swear they're there) I was debating whether or not to give him pupils and irises since it does kinda fit more with the Triceratons of Fast Forward then the original, but it does make them more expressive.

I did actually use Boss Zukko as a reference for his eyes, but the images were pretty blurry( even if they were upscaled), but they worked well enough.

Now here are some fun facts about him, or pretty much a simplified run down of his story.

He's been cooking ever since he was a kid, and his mother was the one who taught him.

His scar and broken horn were, of course, a result of abuse by Gruell, who struck him with his whip when Gnull tried to defend a gladiator from him. This, and his father forcibly making him get his right arm tattoo, led to Gnull running away from home and joining the Triceraton Rebellion so his father wouldn't try and bring him back. He was 15 at the time and was the youngest Triceraton to join.

He wasn't exactly close to Moraxx, mostly due to the fact that they did really have much in common due to their differing ages and their home-life, but he became close to Maxx thanks to Moraxx asking Gnull to babysit for him. And he was sad when he heard Moraxx went M.I.A. during the Invasion.

He became angry at Mozar when he learned Mozar left Maxx in the care of Raz and Zed after the Invasion, he understands he did it because his son went M.I.A. and was grieving, but that didn't mean he should have abandoned his grandson and put all his focus in his work for the Senate as a form of coping.

He would often visit Maxx at Raz and Zed's place after the invasion, even watching Maxx( And Raz and Zed's daughter Ceri) When Raz and Zed went out.

He had a lot of jobs after the invasion, though he was often fired or forced to quit due to his jobs hearing rumors and lies from an anonymous source, who Gnull eventually found out was his dad try to ruin Gnull's new freedom.

That's all I want to reveal in this post for now, but I'll provide more i via asks, posts and other miscellaneous things in the future.

alright, so after a thorough replay of the space-arc and a slightly less thorough comb of the invasion-arc here're some loose observations and thoughts regarding triceraton tattoos. i'm not touching triceratons featured in fast forward because... i don't have interest in that fjkldjks. my apologies.

this is mostly for myself, but you're of course more than welcome to use it as a resource, reference, whatever tickles your fancy. if i missed something, feel free to tell me!

there does seem to be some pattern with rank, so i'm gonna start with "low-rank" and make my way up the ladder.

citizens

we don't get to see a lot of triceraton citizens, and basically all of them are background fodder save for zed and raz (the games commentators). from what i can tell, none of them have tattoos on neither their eyes nor their arms--on the ones with bare arms, anyway. it's probably safe to assume they don't have them on their chests because those seem all-star specific.

rebellion

this is where the tattoo thing gets a bit weird--as in, i don't know if they're actually facepaint that can be removed, or if these are all citizens or green soldiers who've not earned their military tattoo yet. traximus still has his tattoo, but none of his rebellion soldiers have the ones we'll later see on every soldier as well as prison guards. it's definitely possible citizens joined the rebellion, but trax had also mentioned in the arena that he still had friends in the ranks. are they not there? did they remove their tattoos? am i over-analyzing a cartoon beyond what the creators considered? (it's that one).

you can click on the screenshot to make it a little bigger but the bottom-left shot shows an actual solder beside a rebellion soldier, the former's tattoo is barely visible but there. their concept art doesn't have a tattoo, and i didn't see any in-show who had one... but, i did more skim through the invasion-arc, so it's possible i missed one. lemmie know if i'm wrong.

prison guards

all prison guards seem to have a single, thick red-line tattoo over their right eye. the ends point toward the backs of their heads. not much to talk about here. the two in the second-to-bottom-left screenshot are missing theirs, but i'm going to assume this is an animation error.

--also, sidebar, i don't think the blue ""tattoos"" prisoners have are remotely the same type of thing, so i don't think that'd apply to my confusion over none of the rebellion soldiers having tattoos.

soldiers

here's once again where the definition of 'tattoo' gets a little blurry, because if tattoos are a sign of rank and then your rank changes... what do. maybe since triceratons already have advanced technology--and tough skin--they have... a solid form of tattoo removal. again, though, i don't think their tattoos are the same as the ""tattoos"" prisoners receive, so i doubt they'd just peel off?? if that were possible, you'd also think they would have removed traximus's tattoo after he was thrown into the games as another way to shame/derank him, too.

so, your basic and most common soldier seems to have two narrow maroon lines over their right eye. the ends do not point in any direction, they're just lines. they're thin enough that they can be very hard to see if the camera's at a distance, but they're still there--just hard to capture in a screenshot partially due to the quality i'm working with.

next is an ensign soldier, which is basically a low-ranking officer. i think we only see one of these guys (he's leading the group who find the turtles as stowaways at the beginning of s2ep3, the big house). his tattoos are once again over the right eye, maroon/purple, thicker than a soldier's tattoo, and the peak of the outer-most line has a point. for a moment, i thought that maybe you'd build on the tattoo as you ranked, but traximus and mozar are gonna kind of throw that theory out the window when we get to them.

there's also this guy from s2ep5, triceraton wars. he's labeled as "strike team leader" on his concept art, and getting a visible shot of his tattoo in-show is very frustrating and not helped by the fact it looks like they goofed his color palette, too. his tattoo is over the right eye (like the previous soldiers), red, and it's a curved line with ends that hook toward the front of his face. it's the most similar to traximus's tattoo that we see.

...also, this episode eludes to the fact that "slag" is a triceraton swear word, as zanramon uses it both as an exclamation of frustration and calls the strike team "slag brains". he could also just be calling them all stony waste matter, tho, so. do with that what you will.

there's also THESE GUYS from the invasion-arc in s3, and they confuse me because the invasion-arc not only introduces this new uniform design i don't see anywhere in the concept art that i've collected, but these soldiers have like. no tattoos. and it can't be an animation error because their lack of tattoo was consistent for any wearing this suit design. monza ram steals this suit from one of the soldiers, and looted soldier who reports back to zanramon later doesn't have a tattoo.

i wonder if these guys are like... more engineers than they are soldiers. we mostly see them in the docking bay or in the control room where the boys learn don's location on the homeworld. they're just armed because they'd stand in the way of anyone attempting to infiltrate the homeworld (or escape it), but i don't think i saw any of them leave the vessel itself.

gruell

gruell is an odd one because he has the same maroon tattoos as your common soldier--two narrow lines over the right eye--but he additionally has a tattoo on his right arm. it's of course possible that other soldiers also have this tattoo and that it's just hidden by their sleeves, but if tattoos are a show of rank or status you'd think it'd be somewhere more visible? maybe arm tattoos are additional signals of status when soldiers are in their civvies or something.

regardless, gruell's arm tattoo is the only of its kind we see: it appears to be red ink: an upright triangle that breaks into two longer lines where the top line hooks up toward the triangle and the bottom line hooks down toward another triangle, albeit this one is upsidedown. i'm not sure if this is meant to be an abstract design with the usual triceraton fondness of triangles and jagged lines, or if's maybe a representation of a bi-ringed planet? homeworld before they blew it up oopsie-doopsy? who knows.

monza ram + the all-stars

okay, if there are ANY anomalies on this list, it's these guys. none of them have anything resembling the soldier nor prison guard tattoos we've previously seen.

monza ram is the most unique; he doesn't seem to have any body tattoos, but he does have two thick red tattoos (or one big tattoo?) that rises from his jaw on both sides of his face and breaks into two spikes, one ending before it reaches his eye and the other 'cutting through' the eye and peaking on his brow. it covers the back third of his face, right in front of where his frill starts.

the other three all-stars have a much more narrow tattoo on either side of their face that looks like a jagged scratch, another narrow tattoo across the backs of their necks, then an extremely long one that seems to wrap diagonally around their back and end on their pecks. this is the only instance of tattoos that aren't maroon or red, too, as one all-star has blue tattoos and another has brown.

we unfortunately don't really know anything about the all-stars, just that they seem to be separate from the gladiator slaves, are undefeated (before the turtles), and after they lost their first fight zanramon had them imprisoned, where traximus would later free and recruit them. none of them have soldier tattoos. i know the triceratons love battle, so i wonder if they're more like the career tributes in the hunger games. they volunteered to be gladiators rather than were made to be them. eh. *shrugs*

commander mozar

title revoked because i said so, mozar is frustrating because he doesn't have an eye tattoo that we can see. those marks under his eye-patch are more likely from the injury that cost him his eye since they're a darker color than his skin tone, but where shit gets tricky is that traximus was a commanding officer before he was gladiator'd. so, it's possible that mozar has a tattoo identical to trax's under that eye-patch, and we just can't see it.

important to note, however, that his right eye--the eye where all other soldiers have had a tattoo--is bare. that's where the whole... building on your tattoo as you rank up theory kind of falls to the wayside. he technically SHOULD have one, but he doesn't.

he also has an arm tattoo, but it's on his left arm. again--he might also have one on his right arm, but it's sleeved. his left arm is only visible because his prosthetics must require a shorter sleeve. the tattoo on his arm is red: the top piece is a crescent shape lying on its side so it opens upward, then a long line that dips into a crescent shape so it frames the crescent above it, and finally an upsidedown triangle under the lowest point of the middle curve. this is much more of an abstract design than gruell's, idk what this could be.

traximus

as with mozar, traximus complicates the ranking up theory because he also lacks any tattoos on his right eye; his tattoo is on his left eye, and it appears to be reddish, zig-zagging down from his horn, across his brow, down over his eye, back along his cheek and then down to the corner of his mouth.

he doesn't have an arm tattoo on his right arm like gruell does, and if he has a tattoo on his left arm like mozar, it's covered by either his commanding officer sleeve or his gladiator armor. if mozar's tattoo has any connection to his ranking as a commander, it's possible trax has it, too. we just never get the chance to see it. pity.

the council

the council is a main indication that tattoos might be less a show of social status and more military or warrior specific, because none of the council members have visible tattoos (ignore mozar, he forgot to wear pink last wednesday idk why he's sitting with us). kind of helps me lean a bit more into my engineer theory from earlier.

prime leader (zanramon)

no visible tattoos. none whatsoever. pathetic. let's be real, he'd probably start crying before the needle even grazed his skin.

Is there any kind of facts that you found about Aristotle?

I have some, yes!

Aristotle is Billie's mentor: decided to take up this task amazed on how much she is like her father, and out of the desire to relieve the glory days.

Aristotle goes by he/him and they/them, and is gay.

He and Arthur, for all intents and purposes, were married, just not in the traditional sense.

Aristotle's gem (yes, the purple brooch on his cape is one of the gems) is a magic booster.

This makes Aristotle REALLY powerful; but they're still an axolotl, which means that, despite their magic power, he gets easily hurt.

He's made a name for himself at Dutch's hotel, having tried so many ways to get the wolf's gem. That's why Dutch has wanted posters of the axolotl everywhere, making them enemies. Ari doesn't know which gem Dutch has.

Ironically, Ash ships them as an "enemies to lovers" kind of thing.

Katie and Ash want to include book extracts that Billie can collect during the game, and one of them is a book wrote by Aristotle and Arthur, titled "The ABCs of Magic Casting". This suggests the two of them wrote books about magic together.

And as you can see, they shared a last name together.

Aristotle likes eating worms.

The symbol on Ari's forehead is meant to be an infinity symbol. Specifically, it's meant to represent the iridophores that axolotls have on their skins, that create a sparkly effect when exposed to the light.

In the fandom he's officially known as "Rad Magic Dad"!

In the first concepts, Aristotle was supposed to be calmer and more reserved; the devs made him more akin to goofy yet fun dad since he came off as too boring. Also, apparently he used to be a crow before Ash officially made them an axolotl.

He also used to constantly float in a bubble.

On Mario Kart he'd choose Luigi because they'd feel sorry for him.

His favorite Halloween treat is chocolate covered crickets.

Aristotle is autistic, and he stims by swinging his hips from side to side while waddling the finger, and tends to walk by keeping his hands inwards.

When overwhelmed, he tucks at his gills as if they were hair.

Apparently one of the characters who inspired Aristotle was none other than Pikachu!

He's also inspired by game characters like E.Gadd from "Luigi's Mansion" and Toriel from "Undertale".

He's very talented in magic, and can make magic spheres he'll juggle with.

Apparently he's never met Barnaby.

He loves food and cooking; apparently the devs had in mind to have a cooking minigame with him, but I don't know if that's still going to happen.

Despite being powerful at magic, Katie believes he'd have slow reflexes.

He'd love ice skating!

He's also definitely ticklish!

Will happily recieve hugs, very soft and squishy!

Despite his calm and friendly nature, he's got flaws too: as in, he can be petty, overly confident and sometimes rash. He's been compared to Pearl from Steven Universe, and Ash thinks it's a pretty accurate comparison.

His name is a reference to Ace Attorney!

His go to instrument would be a concertina.

Would be friends with Glamrock Freddy, according to Ash!

He can stand on an orb made of magic, just like Raz from Psychonauts with his levitation orb.

If he owned Pokémon, he'd mostly have a Fairy Type team.

He'd never swear; he's the kind that would go "LANGUAGE!" if he'd hear someone say a bad word.

His way of speech has some Weird Al elements to it.

Thought-vomit below in case you want to hear my thoughts on it. It's long because i cannot for the life of me remember how much I've talked about before--

Most of the time I'm more focused on exploring the intricate, intimate feelings of their dynamic (something I just can't do justice with a couple of doodles here and there aughh).

Like--

Let's talk about the almost infantilized elements of Raz's repressed nature.

(Btw, this is not an issue to me - don't feel bad if you genuinely, or even on a meme level, refer to him as a baby. From Raz's perspective, that's how you're meant to, and in turn, that's the narrative I often draw. I draw him cute - he is cute!)

Every character, viewer included, is invited to see Raz as 'babi OwO', because that's a part of Raz's wants. When he feels threatening, he will literally make himself smaller, visually plead for you to see him that way.

Not because he is a tiny baby, but because he has learnt that doing so makes people nicer to him. He doesn't actually ever become a child. Instead he will look the part to spark care in others, and adapt a very simplistic worldview when needed. Not because he cannot grasp anything more complicated, but because it's too distressing to do so!

Like imagine how you might start thinking politics in term of simple 'bad' vs. 'good'. Not because there isn't nuance, but because it's stressful and exhausting and takes away your ability to be happy.

Sometimes Raz does that, but instead of it being politics, it's everything!

And I think it's genuinely interesting how Jeff kind of knows this and once he gets an idea of how it works, he doesn't coddle or treat Raz like a child.

In part because he's a stubborn asshole and kind of refuses to infantilize Raz beyond what is 'healthy'.

He learns to treat Raz as an adult, but obviously simplifies and helps out when Raz is overwhelmed. Example:

The rest of the times he and EJ do their best to help Raz learn how to be responsible and build healthier relationship. How to be self-sufficient.

And it's important because it's Jeff that's pushing for Slender to let him into the mansion, arguing that Raz isn't just a kid, but an adult that can take responsibility for his actions. He's pushing and arguing for Raz to be viewed the same way Jeff knows he can be, capable and responsible.

THAT IS ALL TO SAY I find it genuinely interesting and endearing how Jeff is able to connect with Raz (by being a stubborn asshole) and in turn helps Raz by holding him accountable. To see the glimpses of Ezca before they ever truly met, and how he shuts down Raz's unhealthy habits of making himself smaller, while idolizing everyone around him.

It's cool and I do think it makes their specific relationship special.

I mostly talked about Jeff's influence on Raz, but I could also talk for hours about how my version of Jeff slowly learns to be more patient and more emotional from Raz being around. (I imagine he lost a lot of his ability to be emotional ever since he entered a pact with Slenderman.)

I think their friendship is really cool and complicated and full of little intricate parts and having to label that is HARD GKDNDN

I wouldn't know if there's anything romantic in there - I've never drawn anything with that explicitly in mind?

But I draw them very close! Raz enjoys physical touch and closeness, and as they learn to work together, (especially post roadtrip together,) Jeff is kinda chill having Raz just laying/hanging/sitting around and on him.

Really the one concerned should be Raz because lord knows when Jeff last has showered and washed his clothes but i guess that's a benefit of being non-human NFKDNSJS

begging some of yall not to idolize deepdark and defiance how you do. i have a friend who’s actually lived through a cult’s wrath and they r mega not cool. like i know defiance is narratively AMAZING but we. shouldn’t put it on a pedestal of “oh this thing is so cool and its leaders are amazing” because ultimately it’s safer for everyone if we start recognizing that while yea defiance + deepgang are cool… theyre still a cult. and we should not be viewing them positively at all. cults are inherently models of rigorous and severe repeated abuse, and by romanticizing them you are inherently romanticizing abuse. i don’t think you’re bad for letting this happen, raz, i just think that if you have any sympathy for cult survivors you should have stopped it before now. Especially as the comic ramps up towards the inevitable climax of the cult in it doing many awful things to the main characters. I know no one here intended to romanticize it, but by treating deepdark and other leaders of this cult as silly uwu murder cult guys we are actively doing that.

Well, thank you for sharing your concerns, I appreciate it a lot, as well as explaining the reasons this is important to you. Nothing you said is incorrect or invalid! I do have a few other thoughts I wanna share along with this ask.

Firstly; Defiance is fictional, and more than that it's not based on any real world cult. I obviously had to do some research and take some general real-world influence, mostly because I wanted to capture the kind of personality that exists in cult leaders with Deepdark, but in the end it's a completely made-up group. I actually based their group structure much more on a mafia-like organization than a traditional religious cult. There is a sliding scale for these sorts of things in stories of course, topics that are treated with varying levels of severity based on our culture, and everyone is going to be affected by them differently based on personal experience anyways. I refer to Defiance as a "combination death cult and mafia" sort of flippantly (which is my own fault) because just calling it a "group" is sort of vague, non-descript term. But its structure and actions are way, way more dramatic and obvious than any cult that exists today, or existed previously.

With the kind of fanbase I've gathered, I would like to believe my readership is able to separate the difference between talking about real-world cults and fictional ones. No one I've seen is actually idolizing Defiance as something to genuinely be admired, outside of talking about and making up in-universe characters who do so. Deepdark is fun, and dramatic, and over-the-top, because I made him that way, so it's natural that people like him. But no one is saying that it's good to be like Deepdark, or that he's some sort of aspirational goal (I hope! If you are, we'll have words!). I do believe that in the story itself I've pretty thoroughly conveyed how cruel and malicious Defiance & its members are. In fact I've pretty intensely tried to emphasize the insidious way that cults hurt people, and the danger of charismatic leaders like Deepdark! Maybe I've failed a bit in that regard, then.

But besides all that - your points are very valuable and worth repeating, and I will be more on the lookout for anything treating Defiance's impact irreverantly, and either delete or correct it. I have a feeling people are not going to be happy with them anyways, as they continue to hurt more of our main characters.

Real-life cults are not as obvious and over-dramatic like Defiance. Many ordinary people like you and me are deeply hurt by them all the time, and any time you joke about Deepdark's murdering or silly lieutenant shenanigans, it's always important to keep in mind that there are tons of real-life people like Deepdark out there. I never wanted to come across as unsympathetic for real-world victims of cults. Making people think more deeply about the various shades of gray and subtle acts of evil that exist in our world, as well as the inherent humanity that exists in people who do terrible things regardless, are some of my goals with creating PATFW in the first place.

Pt 3. RAZZLE AND DAZZLE!!

For the sake of length I’m gonna be referring to them as Raz and D cause that’s what they go by in the story. Also while I’m here I’m gonna set a boundary that I don’t wanna see any “what if they were born separated” about them disability is a huge part of their story and I don’t want that to be erased!

They were born out of wedlock to their beautiful mother and their ugly ass father. Growing up they had a LOT of health issues, and needed help with a lot of things like eating (mostly D needed help because his esophagus is all fucked up) and their dad couldn’t handle the stress of raising them and walked out on them (men ain’t shit)

So their mama moved in with her parents while she raised razz and d so the whole family is pretty tight knit.

Cut to them in early school, they had a lot of fun picked at them but by the time middle school rolled around the weird questions and comments about their disabilites generally stopped. This is about the time they started eating lunch with everyone else because they didn’t need the nurse’s help anymore. d and glisten started talking over similar interests like Pokémon tcg, and raz joined the football team and started talking to Cosmo and sprout.

High school rolls around and Rnd are still on the football team, but this is when cosmo and sprout’s torment of d kind of begins. They’ve always poked fun at him but it’s getting worse and more mean.

Raz (if not actively partaking) kind of just lets it happen because he doesn’t think they mean anything by it and that d just needs to toughen up a bit because d’s always been a bit of a cry baby.

Early junior year they had to quit football because d kept having really bad asthma attacks and their doctor said they had to quit playing football, which really fucked them over because they had a full ride scholarship to college FOR their football because they were both actually pretty good.

D quit their book club to be fair and they ended up both joining theater with boxten, Looey and glisten because it was close enough to both to keep them both entertained.

Alright everyone, you heard the lady! I've got this sideblog up for all of yall to ask some questions as if you were in the AU itself! I thought it'd be kind of fun!

Here, you'll be able to ask future Chloe and Raz questions, see some art and comics, and wips/behind the scenes to some of said art and comics!

Alright now for some rules and stuff for this blog:

If you want, you can ask questions as your own OC(s) and for fun, you can make up a fun little email for them using the "@psycho-net.com!" Keep in mind it's a made up email, and you just put your OC's email name in front of it and then put in your ask underneath it.

You can ask questions as if you're referring to comics or recent events! Example: "Hey, is it true you fought and befriended a mutant lung fish? Or was that just and exaggeration to fill up the magazine?" Remeber to get creative! :)

Won't do prompts or role-play scenarios/requests. These are supposed to be as if the characters are answering emails and not actually interacting with irl people.

I won't answer any asks that have "magic" or bring things into reality like food, gifts, etc. It's not that kind of blog, and as stated before, it's supposed to be just answering emails.

As Chloe said earlier, keep things professional! Any asks that make me uncomfortable to answer, or arent relevant to the blog will be ignored. If you have questions non relevant about the blog, please refer to me, Mod Doodle (@doodle17).

Some asks will get answered with text, images, or both! If I see a question I want to answer with images more than words, then I'll answer with drawings. If I see one that I think would be easier for me to write then that's what I'll do. He's from universe where he was captured and used as experiment and becasue it failed he was thrown away and now he tries return back to Psychonauts somehow, but he's trapped to rubbish dump area where he tries survive until he finds back or someone finds him. Pokémon OCs Mass Post [[EMRYS]]

Posting anywhere is extremely difficult for me; sharing kind of in general is very hard for me, but I want to try my hand at doing it more this year. New Years Resolution! Post more publicly!

For this post I will talk about my character Emrys! Pronounced [em-riss].

The bottom image was the first reference page I made for Emrys, the top one is the newer and FAR more detailed reference page!

Emrys; as a character; was just a rando I created for my playthrough of ORAS. I, me the artist, Noah; I actually don't like Hoenn as a region. It's what I can say with confidence is my least favourite generation both in terms of aesthetic and Pokémon. I will say, I have grown to love it over time! But, still not my fav ;w;

Emrys was late adapted into a friend of mines Pokémon Tabletop DnD campaign as a character and from there has gotten loads more development!

[Honestly, this Tumblr Post is JUST a reason for me to share all the art I haven't gotten the chance to share with my party yet for plot related reasons. I know none of them likely follow me on Tumblr, and if they do...Uh, OOPS!]

Emrys grew up in a small "community" in Hoenn of people that did not care for Pokémon, or the companionship of them. In fact, they hated Pokémon, saw them more as tools for work rather than friends. Emrys' mother, Sabina, is the founder; which puts Emrys in a sticky situation as someone who can understand Pokémon language, and openly communicate with the creatures. "A Show of Faith" is a piece I made to give explanation for Emrys' false canines. It's an indicator of who is a part of the cult-I mean community. The teeth are gemstones and other precious minerals taken from Sableye gangs.

Ever since being able to escape the cult through...less than kind circumstances, Emrys has had constant dreams about the Legends from the Hoenn region; Kyorge, Groundon, but more importantly, Rayquaza; the Legend that his mothers cult worshipped. Because of these dreams, Emrys has been dubbed the "prophet child", that he will bring a renewed view to the world through his deeds. Eventually. Unfortunately for the cult, and Emrys, he's spent the years away from the cult running from any and all contact that could come from a "shift in his destiny". Because of this, he doesn't stay in one place too long, and is constantly burning bridges with people to stay off the radar.

With Emrys; I used him as a character in the Pokémon world as an excuse to also redesign/re-imagine canon characters from the Pokémon world. Many of them I unfortunately haven't gotten around to getting out of the sketch phase; such as; Guzma, Piers, Lysandre, Sycamore, Elesa, and many MANY more. But one that I did end up getting done very early was Lisia, or Razia as I call her.

A VERY DRASTIC CHANGE, I KNOW I KNOW! I actually wanted reason to commit to doing hardcore research into Albinism. I think it's extremely beautiful; and I have a few characters across my stories with Albinism, so I wanted to do something more realistic to what Albinism would actually look like.

In my re-imagining of Lisia, Lisia is Raz's stage name; as she also escaped the cult with Emrys and another fellow, and soon discovered her lineage to Wallace; the former champion of the region and started living with him. Emrys later moved in with them as well for mental health reasons.

Razia is a pop singer, dancer, contest queen, body positive model, and a lover of all things Swablu. She was able to form a big crowd of fans due to her debut involving her answering lots of questions about her "hard life" within the cult she and her friends grew up in. She's also a plus sized woman, and a major advocate for all bodies, all skin tones, all disabilities; all the things! She's a very positive influence on Hoenn as a whole; even if her connections are mostly other musicians from other regions.

Razia's relationship with Emrys is tight. They're kind of best-friends with benefits. They love each other very deeply, on a very different level. [Also this piece was inspired by bases made by @//mellon_soup. They are unbelievably talented and their break downs help me a fuck ton with anatomy and style diversity.]

From this point on I'll just post all the art I want to and describe them as I see fit! That's the general jyst of Emrys, at least for now!

The first art I ever made of the rest of the DnD crew; before the redesigns I did with all the members. The gold toned character is Levi, the dark grey/later dark purple toned character is Mia, the garnet/pink-y toned character is Cooper, the beige/later sky blue character is Dottie, and the peach/orange toned character is Lailya.

This piece was also inspired by something my friend who plays Levi actually said in reference to Emrys joining the party.

An introduction to some of Emrys' team members. The Sableye is Tango [They/Them], and the off coloured Floette is Odette[She/Her]!

Coloured art inspired by a meme our friend who plays Lailya sent me and my friend who plays Levi regarding Emrys and Levi. Featuring Dottie in the top left corner; as well as the most prominent members of both Emrys and Levi's Pokémon teams; Deino the Zweilous and Cello the Delcatty.

Cello is Emrys' service Pokémon; therefore she doesn't partake in battles or contests; but she is a great singer, and kinda team mom by default.

And finally: The session I was introduced all the characters got turned into Pokémon! With the Pokémon Emrys turned into being Shiny Roselia. And here is some art to show that!

But, yeah! That's Emrys; at least for now! There are other things about him that I haven't worked out visually just yet, but will eventually!

I use Clip Studio Paint, and I will list some of brushs I use(and also which aren't deleted on Assets)

Raz's roughy sketchy set

Most of brushes in this brush set are useful for making rough style. I mostly use it for sketches and doodles.

2. SU-Cream Pencil

It is useful to paint stuffs in thick styles, but in more clear way.

TBH I don't know how to refer this set. This contains a lot of brushes and textures inside, and a brush I mostly use in this pack is named as Concept 3.

Anon this ask is so scary because I can't be 100% sure what it's referring to HSDKGHDSG.

Okay So. If you're talking about any cat things I've drawn recently, none of those are Zote! Those are my funny guys in my clangen game.

If you're talking about a fluffy cat Zote with a collar alongside a small kitten Fiend (the grub), you're likely thinking of this design! In which case Yes, that IS a Warrior Cats version of Zote, but he's part of an AU that I helped work on with @/razs-archetype! He's only slightly related to CoGR stuff through the inclusion of Fiend in that AU. N that AU hasn't been touched in a LONG while, lmao.

BUT, I do, in fact, have my own cat Zosk design that I don't believe I've shared anywhere. The scary thing is I can't remember if I've shared this design anywhere. Mostly because ok Admittedly it made me lil embarrassed HSDGH
