One of my favorite ways to explore a character is how they like their coffee or tea. As in; which one do they prefer, or do they like both? How much sugar and/or cream do they add, if any? Hot or cold? It’s something so niche and minuscule that you probably wouldn’t ever think about otherwise, and yet imo it can tell you a lot about a character.

(Examples below)

1) Mollymauk prefers coffee. He tends to add a lot of sugar and creamer—to the point where it’s more cream than coffee—and prefers it iced rather than hot (my explanation for this in my fic was bc tieflings run hot, they need iced drinks to level it out). Essentially, the way I see it, he likes his coffee the way I do lol.

2) Caleb prefers tea. He adds a bit of sugar to cut the innate bitterness, but no cream, and almost exclusively drinks it hot. This being said, he is known to switch to apple cider on occasion, if he wants to switch it up.

3) Shepherd prefers hot black coffee. Ik this makes no sense considering my logic for Molly drinking iced coffee, but…idk, I can’t see Shep drinking iced coffee. He does drink iced tea if he can get it tho (yes I am implementing my southern roots onto him, what of it)

4) Sarnax almost exclusively drinks hot tea (don’t remember the name of the specific type he carries). No sweeteners or cream or anything, just the pure tea.

5) Skrimm likes apple cider. I mean, he prefers booze, but if there’s no booze available, then he’ll subconsciously go for the cider if given the option

6) Gricko likes apple juice. I can’t really explain why, but my brain has latched onto this idea and won’t let go. So yeah. Gricko likes cold apple juice.

7) Torbek also likes apple juice but like. Room temperature apple juice.

Like, was there really no Romanian-adjacent person on or off set they could consult? hell they could’ve given me a call

just saw the dear evan hansen uk tour and... dude it was so incredible. ryan kopel was INSANE he hit every note and his comedy acting was so so good and his performance of words fail... i can't even talk about it. and i loved the staging they had these windows that they could roll in and out so during waving through a window he would be separated from the rest of the cast on stage by an actual window........ you're joking!!!!! and when evan would be video calling jared they were both side by side facing the audience but the window dividers were lit up differently to show they were in different places and they had these little stands at the back where if a character was on the phone the person they were calling was behind them in a little lit-up box like they were inside a phone. COOL!!!! and the choreography for sincerely me was so good and so hysterical. the guys playing connor and jared were so so so good!!!! literally a life-changing show i think 15 year old me would never have stopped crying afterwards

I just had a that's so raven moment but with supercorp. Queue in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters but make it supercorp. Hansel & Gretel would be Kara and Alex, witch hunters. Hunting evil witches to save their town's children but comes across Lena Luthor (Muriel) the most powerful witches of them all but instead of wanting to kill her, one of the witch hunters aka the blonde one is captivated by the witch. She's unlike all the witches they've come across with and they've come across and killed PLENTY. Alex thinks that maybe her sister is just under some sort of spell and Kara knows there's a big chance that she probably is knowing how powerful Lena is. That would be the only explanation why she can't for the life of her stop thinking about those green captivating eyes and she can't get Lena Luthor out of her head. She's obsessed, rightfully so. She's intriguing and Kara thinks Lena might feel the same because the last time they met, Lena could have easily killed her if she wanted to but she didn't. She let's her walk away only because Kara accidentally mumbles "You're so beautiful" when they were inches apart, blue eyes looking at green with so much adoration it was blinding so much as it was disarming. Alex Danvers knows they're fucked.

It's been a little over a week since I finished my exams for this exam season and summer is officially here. I've had ups and downs with resting and getting my energies back, as well as with my anxiety. But I want to do my best to focus on the positives of the past few days. I started going on morning walks with my dad, we talk about books and movies and it's become a great way to start our days. I have been doing a big reread of old Zerocalcare graphic novels I haven't read in years, which is bringing me a lot of laugh and comfort. I also recently started reading some cozy fantasy in the hopes it will help me heal from the burn out of exam season, because I have indeed burned myself out, and now I pay the consequences. The big happy news of the week is that I finally came out to my family, it wasn't planned, it just happened and I am so glad it did. It went very well, and I still feel like itm only happened in a dream. I have been procrastinating having this talk with them out of pure anxiety for years, and I don't know what I was expecting, but everything is normal and okay with the only difference that now I don't have this huge weight on my shoulders anymore. I'll have lots to say to my therapist this month, I guess. I haven't planned yet when I'll get back into studying for the September/November exam season. At the moment I feel like I need rest, and that is my main priority. I will do a bit of planning as soon as I feel I have enought brain power to do so, and in the meantime I am trying to rest and enjoy the small daily things.

first art post of the new year!!! granted, i don't share my art here that much anyway, but– shhh.

hehehehhhooo,, here's something i've been working on for 'bout a month,, albeit not consecutively– took a few,, very very long breaks in between working on this,, but i managed to finish it in the end! am i satisfied with it? .......ehhhh? not completely, but if this took any longer, it might not have seen the light of day, so like. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

anyway,, made a little poster for my favorite fic, tommyinnit's services for villains, vigilantes, and various other vagabonds, by @scorpionoesit!!! it's really really good,,, and i've always wanted to make more art for it,, so i decided– poster! at least,, that's what it's mean to resemble,,, dkdmkdmdkd.

i will freely admit,, i'm... not the biggest fan of the fan-made logo i tried to design for it,, feels a bit boring, and could definitely have used a bit more pizazz, something to make feel more like the fic itself(what does that mean? you figure that out),,,, but– again, steam was running low,, dkdnksjs. graphic design is my passion. i do also have other complaints, but i'm afraid i already punched my one-use self-critique card,, oh well,,, dkdnkxjdkd.

regardless,, even with the flaws only i can really see,, this still turned out pretty okay!! hope you enjoy it, mx. scorpio and mx. alibi!!! and i hope everyone else has a wonderful new year!!!!
