Women Empowerment Shaking Hands With Sustainability
The environment and the economy both benefit from sustainability. The environment is vital because it supplies us with the materials we require to survive. The economy is vital because it provides us with the employment and income we require to survive. And then comes the new age concept of Women empowerment...

Waiting for the Next Fool
I was making my way through the traffic on the bike. On a hurry to reach my office on time I approaching a red light. A familiar scene unfolded: vehicles edging past the stop line, impatient to jump the signal in the absence of police or cameras. As I prepared to join the fray, my eyes caught a young woman on a scooter. Unlike everyone else, she waited patiently for the green light.
Maybe she was new here, unaware of the city's unspoken rule: traffic signals were mere suggestions. I pulled up beside her, ready to offer the "local advice."
"You can go on red, everyone does," I said, expecting agreement.
To my surprise, she smiled and replied, "It's okay, I'll wait."
I couldn't fathom why anyone would choose to stop on the road on such a sunny day when you could easily pass by without any repercussions.
Curiosity piqued, I pressed further. "Are you waiting for someone to catch up on you on the road?"
Curiosity piqued, I pressed further. "Are you waiting for someone to catch up on you on the road?"
She smiled. "I understand that a lot of people cross the stop line to save their time and often ignore road safety and the value of life. Maybe out of a hundred, just one person cares about the rules and the safety of others. When everyone else jumps the light, that one person might feel foolish for following the rules. I don't want anyone to feel foolish and alone for doing the right thing. So, yes I am waiting for the next fool who still cares and hopes for a better and safe society."
Her words struck a chord, a cool breeze amidst the sweltering heat. My idling bike suddenly felt like a symbol of the recklessness I was about to partake in. Silencing the engine, I joined her, waiting for the green light. For the first time, following a traffic signal felt empowering, a silent act of solidarity with the invisible guardian of the road - the one who cared.

Banana Waste Into Treasure: MBA Grad Transforms 5 Tonnes of Waste Into Lucrative Eco-Friendly Crafts
In a world where environmental sustainability is becoming increasingly critical, innovative solutions to reduce waste are gaining more attention. And one such solution has been brought to life by an MBA grad who has successfully transformed banana waste into eco-friendly crafts, generating impressive profits.
With a deep commitment to sustainability and a unique approach to business, this entrepreneur has turned what was once considered useless waste into a valuable resource, proving that with the right mindset, even the most unlikely materials can be transformed into something truly valuable.
Meet Mehul: MBA Grad and Sustainability Entrepreneur
Tumblr media
Mehul is an MBA graduate who was inspired to start his own business. He found his niche in transforming banana waste into a valuable resource, and his dedication to sustainability has earned him impressive profits. His story demonstrates how creativity, hard work, and determination can turn waste into a profitable and sustainable business.
Discovering the Value of Banana Waste
Tumblr media
Mehul recognized an opportunity in banana waste. After learning that banana stems contained cellulose and natural fibers, he developed a business strategy to turn this waste into a valuable commodity.
He studied the market for two years, learning about the potential of banana fibers and their uses. Mehul gained support from local farmers, reducing waste and supporting the community.
Shroff Industries: A Sustainable Business Model
Mehul established Shroff Industries, a sustainable brand with a mission to positively impact the planet. He developed a unique process to convert banana stems into fibers, which he sold to the textile and handicraft industries.
Mehul’s dedication to his vision paid off, and Shroff Industries generated an impressive yearly revenue of about Rs 30 lakh by selling three to five tonnes of banana fiber monthly.
Empowering Women and Promoting Sustainability
In addition to his impressive efforts in utilizing banana fiber to create sustainable products, Mehul’s commitment to sustainability extends to empowering rural women in Burhanpur.
Through his company, Shroff Industries, he has trained 40 women to create eco-friendly handicrafts using banana fiber, such as wall clocks, yoga mats, worship mats, ropes, bags, planters, baskets, and other items.
Despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic in 2020, Mehul remained steadfast in his mission to promote sustainability. He now provides raw materials for creating paper using banana fiber and has also developed a liquid organic nutrition product made from banana waste.
Mehul’s initiative has helped promote sustainability and provided a source of income for local farmers. His company procures agricultural waste from farmers in the region, which they can use to create sustainable products without paying for labor to clean up their fields post-harvest. His efforts are not only admirable but also have a positive impact on the community and the environment.
Mehul’s success story shows that waste can become a valuable commodity with creativity, determination, and hard work. His business supports local farmers, empowers rural women, and promotes sustainability in the textile industry. Mehul inspires innovative thinkers who see potential where others see waste. With more individuals like him, the future is indeed sustainable.
Revolutionizing Banana Waste
Mehul’s innovative idea to turn banana waste into useful products is eco-friendly and a blessing for farmers in the region. His initiative not only helps farmers avoid the cost of labor but also provides them with an additional source of income.
From Waste to Wealth: Creating Paper and Liquid Organic Nutrition from Banana Waste
Mehul’s company procures agricultural waste from banana fields and transforms it into raw materials for creating paper and liquid organic nutrition. This reduces the waste generated by the banana industry and creates a sustainable and eco-friendly way to produce paper.
Mehul claims that liquid organic nutrition from banana waste is rich in vital plant nutrients and includes growth regulators and organisms that break down waste. This product is a boon for farmers as it helps enhance soil fertility and productivity, improving their economic well-being.
A Helping Hand to Banana Farmers: Making the Most of Agricultural Waste
Tumblr media
Mehul’s initiative provides a helping hand to banana farmers in the region. Farmers can notify Mehul’s team when they need to clean their fields post-harvest.
Mehul’s team then gathers the agricultural waste from the fields, splits it, and brings it to their processing center.
Currently, Mehul obtains stems regularly from between 50 and 100 farmers in the area, providing them with an additional source of income and reducing their labor costs.

Writeblr intro ✨
Hehe I'm Sd. I figured it was time I turned this hell of a mess into a writing blog. So here's a little intro to get to know me~
I'm 17, she/her, from India. I love writing, but I mostly never write anything. Apart from that, I'm into drawing and reading.
I post mostly poetry here but I have my fair share of prose too including short stories. I'm currently plotting two major projects.
-wips
project. unidentified
Even after living among supernatural beings for seventeen years, Amala never had a reason to doubt her identity. When a new classmate enters the scene, she sets out to discover who she really is.
Project. dream
Everyone is allowed to fulfil one dream in a lifetime, which the World Wish Fulfilment organisation takes care of. If a second wish is fulfilled, it gets inverted. When an employee falls in love, he is forced to fulfil the second wish of his lover.
I think finally making a writeblr would help me motivate myself more to actually write them. I'm looking for writeblrs to follow and I'd love to chat! Feel free to interact, if you reblog this post I'll give you a follow :)

Hi! You mentioned in a prev oneshot that you were Indian, as a fellow south asian it is so nice to have someone into the fandom as well !!! May I have a request if batboys with an south asian so who does Indian classical dance like bharatnatyam or odissi please?
Heyyy I have never professionally learned classical Indian dances but I love watching them so ill try my best. Im sorry if its offensive, Im doing fem reader cuz gn wasn't requested..hope that okay too
Batboys x Dancer!Y/N
Dick grayson
He loved the story the dances depicted. He learned all the meanings and history behind all the hand movements and music.
Dick had probably been to India for a mission so he does know a little about indian history but now he has a much stronger motivation to learn everything and anything about that culture .
Also we all know dick has a thing for strong powerful women. And Bharatnatyam or Odssi or any indian classical dance for that matter REQUIRES SO MUCH STRENGTH . The facial expressions, the precise movement and the beauty of it all..he is whipped.
'He also loves when you get in touch with your culture. Dick is like a culture connoisseur and having a beautiful south asian girlfriend who is proud and expressive of her heritage makes him so proud.
He for sure has videos on videos which he show or boast about to anyone- even at galas , his favorite thing to talk about you and he is just so proud.
Jason Todd
I dont think todd will take the time to look into the difference meanings or stories these dances depict.
I have mentioned how much he stares and now he has a new found excuse to stress. Its like those movie montages of the wife through the husbands eyes where there is like a light glow behind her and he is just laughing (and then she dies or something)- idk if you know what I'm talking about but that exact thing happens with him.
you are like his salvation , so beautiful, golden poised and graceful. Its like a beggar seeing a goddess , a murderer on the steps of church or a ray of sunshine in the cold cold dark city - it becomes his way to spirituality.
He doesn't talk that much about it. the whole experience feels too surreal for him and he loves to see that side of you. when your practicing and don't have the routine perfected, he loves seeing the side of you no one else would get to see.
Tim drake-
This boy probably went to the ballet as a kid and I mean western rich parents-gotham city- I don't think he knows anything about indian classical dance so when he sees it for the first time he is shocked
He Is so intrigued , It just makes you so much cooler. He will love dropping in the middle of his patrols to watch you train and bring you snacks
He also loves doing your makeup for you , and the whole outfit....it looks super complicated and he is good with assembling stuff so he'll be really into it.
He would tbh encourage you to use your skill to start and internet channel and use that to promote movements. Also if you are into the idea of teaching immigrant kids on how to dance, he'll help find the means because being connected to your roots are just so important.
Rather than boring ass ballet in galas , he will promote other styles of dance especially indian classical.
Will cheer like a madman after your performances , even if they are at rich gotham galas. "WOHOO THATS MY GIRL THATS REAL ART YOU SEE THAT YOU RICH PRICKS"
Yea just because you have this super serious super cool skill doesn't mean you both wont be sitting in a dinner eating greasy food in the whole costume+makeup after performances. Youre still teenage dirtbags after all
Damian wayne-
he will draw you . loves sitting and sketching you dance .
He too is really into strong women and appreciates the beauty and precise art of indian dance.
Itll remind him of his home, like up in the mountains. Maybe dance is taught as a way of developing balance and precision. So to him you look like a strong fighter.
It just brings nostalgia and you look so ethereal while you dance. I think out of all batboys he would be most appreciative of the art
these are comparatively shorter but i didnt have too many thoughts. hope its okay tho

Hope's Review of S3 : Kanthony & Francesca
Tumblr media
Note: These are my opinions, that does not make them right, nor am I posturing that they are the only opinion. Very up for discussion with y’all as long as it’s respectful.
Note: I do not stand for hate against any actors/actresses or writers. Please, please, do not send hate to them.
As I said in my past posts:
I loved moments, far more than the writing.
Kanthony:
Tumblr media
And this couple is the personification of the above sentence.
I adored every single scene with Kanthony. Anthony my-wife Bridgerton stole my heart. The kiss during the dance. Announcing the baby. Competitive couple goals. My heart melted with how they looked at each other, how intimate they were with one another. Whenever they came on my screen I squealed.
However…I really didn’t rate their arc this season. Do we remember the interview where Simone talked about how this season we were going to get Kate settling into her role as Viscountess? Where did that go?
They bopped in and out without much coherency. I feel as if the writers wanted them for that one scene with Colin re: marital advice in the middle of the season but didn’t have a clear idea for what other scenes they could do. And I do think it was more than just Johnny and Simone’s schedules.
Yes, it was nice for them to take a little extended honeymoon for themselves to have a child when last season was so full of tension and sacrifice. And it is heart swooning that Anthony wants to have the baby in India—but two different excuses to get them off screen? Why not just the one? The key with Kanthony is that they both know they cannot fully shirk their responsibilities—nor if they’re being honest would the pair wish to—but their love story was about finding someone else to share the burdens with. Having them pop off to leave Benedict with it all not once, but twice, seems a bit of a disservice to their characters.
Francesca & John:
Tumblr media
I LOVED John and Francesca’s storyline. I loved their courtship; I liked their chemistry and their interactions. The song he got rewritten for her? Swoon.
I liked that Francesca taught Violet some lessons in love, I thought this was one of the more interesting and meatier storylines. I like that Bridgerton is showing us how valid different types of romances are.
I liked that both had to go out of their comfort zones for their love, they needed to be bold. John in asking Francesca to dance at the wedding breakfast, and Francesca standing up to the Queen.
However…the ending got things a bit muddled, especially in the last episode. Francesca and other characters kept pushing the idea that her marriage was her ‘getting it over and done with’, or that her marriage was a way to “escape the family” or have time to find herself. Combined with her reaction at the wedding, it made me doubt Francesca’s intentions with the romance. Was it really because she loved him?
A mina contribution around this is that I still don’t know who Francesca is. Unlike other characters, Francesca has not been built up for the last two seasons, tf it was so important that from the get-go we got a clear idea of Francesca’s motivations, her views, her personality. And we got some of it, but I felt like it got a bit muddled because they immediately got her together with John. I would have loved this season to be a season of us finding out who Francesca is before she is linked with another person.
However, I'm not really peeved or worried about all of this. Whether Francesca is a lesbian, or whether her marriage with John is one that does not have much sexual desire—does not negate her deep love for him. It's just in the next season/s the writers need to show the deep love. I would also find it refreshing to have a couple that deeply love each other without the need for sex. Especially in our very sex-driven culture.
On the topic of Francesca and John…
Franchaela
Tumblr media
I was gobsmacked when I saw Michaela come in. I literally paused the show and had to take a moment. Afterwards, (while it did take me a minute to put aside my love for Michael Stirling and sigh a little mournfully for some of the storylines we won’t see), my brain then did a 180 and has now gone down a rabbit hole around this new dynamic/story. I just hope that the writers can do it justice.
Also, I think I saw a comment in an interview about how its really cool they’re going to show a ‘happy queer love story’ on Bridgerton. And all I was thinking is how When He Was Wicked is the most angstiest book in the entire season--but at least we’ll still get a HEA.
Also, I know a lot of people are annoyed about Francesca’s reaction to Michaela, and I think that can be taken multiple ways. I saw a post (apologies I can’t find it otherwise I would credit you) that pointed out that for non-book readers, they would have no idea the purpose/significance of Michaela without some obvious moment like we saw. They might have just assumed she would be a friend for Eloise. Personally, at the first watching I was a little disappointed because it piled on top of other moments in the episode that seemed to undermine Francesca and John’s relationship. But again, it will be very easy for the writers to show the love between John and Francesca in future season so I’m not too worried about this.
But do you know what we do get now…
We get the BPSC=, otherwise known as the Bridgerton Pining Society. Est. 1817.
President: Sophie Beckett.
Vic President: Michaela Stirling.
Honorary member: Benedict Bridgerton
I mean, did you see how fast Michaela's smile dropped upon learning that Francesca is a Kilmartin?
