sigh. mst au part 4. im procrastinating on making a ref sheet, lifes well. canaries kiss when interested in courting. this, can result in several things. from jimmy peppering scott's face with various kisses, out of pride, or just because he felt like it- to his first kiss with scar, where they were in the middle of a 1v1 battle, where the tensions were high, and he impulsively slid down his mask and gave him a quick kiss. (it was a surprisingly easy battle afterward, since scar was still processing whatever the fuck happened) however, the thing about scar, is that he knows about canaries. he's a shapeshifter, so he has to know about instincts, urges, diets, and anything else of the sort of a WIDE variety of hybrids, so he doesn't fling himself into the unknown and hurt himself further than his power already hurts him. (last time he did that, he was put out of commission for a month. he learned his lesson.) so because of this vast knowledge, he knew what that meant. he knew, and he wondered how much of the flirting he does with canary was a joke. (the answer was barely any of it. it was at first, but outside of that it was genuine. fuck.) -tn (I HOPE YOU GET BETTER SOON RIBBON MOD!!!)

The biggest question is what to do about it. Scar can tell Canary is flirting, but what if he responds and it is a joke? He'll be left heartbroken, he'll offend Canary and suddenly all this camaderie between them is up in smoke! Ugh. This wasn't what he expected his biggest problem as a villain to be!

Scott, meanwhile, has no idea what to make of Canary suddenly kissing him. How does he react to that?! It's cute, sure. But is this just... A new thing? He's not used to the people he writes articles about kissing him - even as congratulations for his latest journalism award.

Jimmy, meanwhile, is oblivious to the confusion he's leaving behind. The kissing comes so naturally to him that he hasn't even considered humans will see it as something different...

No one was around when I left so I did not get to say goodbye, but Jimin yelled that we were leaving. We did not get a response and I wondered if his mother had actually gone to do laundry or take a nap. She looked tired when she left the table. Jimin told me to get into the truck and laughed when I said I could grab my own bags. 

“Your hip might give out, granny.”

Off guard, a strange, loud noise came out of my mouth. He had yet to start up our playful banter and my heart soared. Jimin was a very cheeky man, his tongue sharp, and with a quick snapback time, he was difficult to take down. Our text exchanges were always brief and about work, but he managed to squeeze in at least one teasing comment about my age. He said calling him ‘kiddo’ is what started the whole thing.

“Just get in the truck,” He sighed melodramatically, rolling his eyes.

Huffing, I went across the lawn and got into the unlocked truck on the curb. The interior was just as refurbished as the exterior. The bench was covered in a dark green vinyl, and I could tell the rubber carpet mats were new. It smelled much better in Jimin’s truck. Less like cigarettes and more like the cologne he wore. It was floral, powdery, but with a subtle spice that made it bitter-sweet. It had a nice scent. It suited a man like Jimin whose own spice was buried underneath his pretty visage. 

Watching him jog across the yard, I suppressed a sigh. It was easier to ignore how pretty he was when we were around other people. Now it felt impossible. His clothes stuck to him like a second skin, the black leather pants (which I had only just noticed were leather) making his thighs bulge and accentuating his backside. He was gorgeous and I felt sorry that I would have to keep it to myself. Jimin deserved to be told things like that, but it was not my place to do so. Not as a coach, trainer, or otherwise.

He tossed my things into the cab of the truck as if they weighed nothing. Arms lifted; his shirt rose revealing a delicious patch of skin. Watching him in the rearview mirror, I swallowed audibly. A thin, almost nonexistent patch of hair touched his belly button. Forcing myself to look away, I took a few deep breaths.

This trip was going to be long. Very, very long.

guys i havent written since may (for killer's birthday) but stupid silly swapinverse has been on my mind for a little bit and i threw together this silly (he has a panic attack and throws up) little short draft 4 swapinverse horror!!

“hah… ah… oh god… no, no, nonono…”

he ran. sprinted through the forest like a frightened deer, his demeanor that of prey, although his previous actions aligned more of a predator. panting and shaking, his mind cycled through countless variations of how to react to what just happened, what he just did.

how should he react? how could he react? it was impossible to tell for him in the panicked state. and as the trees in snowdin slowly began to surround him (but weren't they always doing that?), paranoia couldn't run anymore. he was surrounded, he was blocked off, he couldn't escape. not from horrortale, not from snowdin, not from the dusty graveyard he had just left it, and not from the blood smeared across his mouth.

“no, i- what did, what did i do? paps, snowdin, even-undick, no, it-”

paranoia’s incoherent rambles brought his hands to wander across his face, tugging at the massive hole in his skull spanning majority of the left side of his head. picking at the chipped bone didn't help, it never did, but a nervous habit was unbreakable, and he was more than nervous in this moment. in fact, quite terrified. everything was terrifying. he was terrifying. and as the slightest hint of red blood touched his sleeve, the once red, now magenta eye quickly locked onto it, and he couldn't hold it back anymore.

“fuck- oh god, no, aliza-!”

falling to his knees, a disgustingly gorey mess of red, pink, and black spilled from his mouth. sounds of retching and hurling were all that filled the empty forest, and paranoia couldn't bear to look down and see the mess he’d made. the mess he’s caused. wasted food, he would've said. but that statement normally only applied to others. he never imagined using it on himself. choking on his spit and certainly not his blood, tears fell from his eye, joining the vomit and blood seeping into the snow. strange. paranoia didn't think he had enough magic to even shed tears anymore. just for the bare necessities. he managed to surprise even himself, after all this time.

but could it be could be considered surprise, or rather terror? he fit up to his name, certainly horrified at his own actions. forcing out as much of the grossness he could that he’d just consumed, paranoia couldn't help but look down at what he’d done.

red. a lot of red. too much red. he’d never been queasy before, never. he had to adapt to it, being the one to hunt down humans that ran or sneak up on those when times got desperate. there was no time or need to be queasy at what he even considered his job before. a duty he had to do.

but now, there was too much red. far too much red. and he didn't know why, although he totally knew, but paranoia couldn't stomach it. he just threw his guts out (shouldn't they be aliza’s guts, or no?), and here he was, wanting to throw up until his SOUL shattered. his SOUL cycled through those strange 4 shapes, unsure of which to settle on. he couldn't blame it. paranoia himself was unsure of what was even going on anymore. he wanted to run, but was frozen. he wanted to scream, but didn't know who at.

everything was contradicting. everything was going on, and not enough was given for paranoia to understand how to deal with it. and with a muttered curse, he flopped on his side onto the somehow dry snow, losing consciousness in the haze of fear now intermingled with his SOUL.

ik theres probably grammar mistakes i wrote this on my phone,,,, but like idk. had idea for a little moment in paranoia's lore and i sure as hell didn't wanna draw it so i wrote it as an easier media! god this is so much easier compared to drawing idk why i dont do this more often (because youre lazy silly!) anyways swapinverse silly i love swapinverse. i've only thrown up like never so i dont know if this works. also never had a panic attack (i think) and AGAIN i dont know if this is accurate but whatever i dont write to be good i write for expressing my ideas. like everything i do

majorsolidaritimes superhero au part two baybee from where jimmy canary is essentially powerless, only having the wings on his back thanks to his hybrid status, he knows how to get out of sticky situations decently reliably. as it turns out, element of surprise works surprisingly well so when hotguy manages to corner him, he teases the poor man with his words, being able to slip away easily. (hotguy was not ready for the bumbling idiot of a hero to actually fluster him, but it's not like hes complaining. other than the fact that the bird got away.) when scott was recording the encounter for the poppy forums, his usually professional demeanor was broken up with a little laugh of his own, something out of character for him. (his articles were known for being unbias, and mostly factual with some humor sprinkled on, but when he posts clips, he is silent. most of the time) -tn (i have this au on my mind. i still dont know scotts power though </3)

Unbeknownst to Scott - and to each other - Scar and Jimmy both hear that soft laugh. They can imagine the way Scott's eyes must've scrunched up with the smile.

Scar is annoyed Canary got the flirting in first. Jimmy is just ecstatic that Scott thought he was funny! Scott is blissfully unaware as he maintains his site and keeps his ear to the ground for the next story.

What he doesn't except, though, is for Hotguy to come for him next. Scott has been targeted by villains (and the occasional hero) before. It's never amounted to anything besides an inconvenience and at worst a brief hospital stay. He'd argue the paperwork is the worst part. Plus, he'd kinda been expecting it at some point with how much he reports on Hotguy. Just not at this moment.

He gets more concerned when he realises Hotguy is using him as bait. For Canary. Firstly, he doesn't see how that would. Secondly... He has no idea what to think if this does work. What on earth could Hotguy want with Canary?
