Question when did you start shipping Metadede?

Lemme think back...

I created the Forgotten Land Roleswap AU on Twitter in April 2022 with just Bandee and Dedede swapped. I didn't have Dedede and Meta as the main protagonists until May. I did not ship metadede at the time and only learned about its existence when I was researching moves for the Combo Mode concepts (their replacement for Mouthful Mode in a hypothetical Roleswap game). By August I was tagging drawings that could be interpreted as shipping even if it wasn't my primary intent when making it because I was trying to respect the Tumblr tagging system and get it away from anyone who didn't want even the suggestion of it. I was curious about it but I still wasn't really a shipper- just exploring their dynamic both in and out of battle.

By September I was actively drawing metadede with shipping as the primary intent. I had watched and analyzed the footage from Kirby Fighters 2 a lot by now. The fan art had me twirling my hair and kicking my legs at all the fun and interesting ways they could interact with one another.

By December, I was totally cooked. I consumed all the fan art and comics I could get my tiny lil hands on. Metadede fluff was pouring out of my eyes like laser beams. It's just too fun. I am not immune to the king/knight, red/blue, sun/moon dynamic and I am proud!!!

Now the metadede tag is stuck with me for a long time!!! Muahahahaaa! >:D

1. Do you prefer owls, capybaras, or flamingos?

Wow. Never really considered it but… owls, definitely owls.

2. What is your favorite soup?

There are soooo many! Soup is the fucking best, man. Comforting. Warming. Delicious. Hmm, commercially-speaking, there is this sandwich place called Zuppa’s that has a Wisconsin Cauliflower soup that is to DIE FOR. So creamy. So cheesy. (God, I am getting flashbacks right now) There was a time I lived on this soup. Guh.

The favorite soup I make myself is my Not-Quite-Minestrone, Minestrone soup. My own recipe I created myself, too. I may be biased but I think it kicks butt. I call it Not Quite Minestrone because I leave out the beans due to me being unable to have too much fiber. But everyone who has tried it has never claimed to even miss them. I put pesto in it too.

3. What is your favorite…rock (idfk)?

Um, like as in a natural substance composed of solid crystals of different minerals that have been fused together into a solid lump? Yeah, don’t have one. But I do like really smooth rocks for what that’s worth.

If I were a worm would I even know what love is within my tiny little wormy mind? Maybe, maybe not. I’m not sure I’d be living it up free-worm style, regardless. So no. Sorry. Nothing personal.

Bras. We hates them. First thing that comes off as I enter my abode. The ladies need and deserve to be free.

Probably 0-1. My secret power is making people laugh. And I don’t think murders are really in it for the chuckles. 🤷🏼‍♀️
