Any of the girls get fat enough to cause any physical damage to themselves? I can only imagine getting so big... and heavy... and flabby... and unhealthy... in such a consistent manner could only cause some unforeseen issues they probably didn't expect~

It’s only natural that their increasing obesity and their dreadfully unhealthy lifestyles would lead them to hurting themselves, none of them have avoided it.

Maho’s knees buckled several times, they still hurt to this day, even tho she haven’t stood in 3 months.

“I-I can.. hff... get up just... hahh... fine… and my... nghff... knees don’t hurt that... bhuuurrrrpp... much…” She says this, but painkillers are downed by the bottle to deal with her myriad of agonies. "They didn't... hff... need to hear... ngh... this..." She grumbled in frustration and a hint of self loathing.

Rinku… ignoring how raw and stretched her digestive tract is, or how scarred her throat is from vomiting dozens of times a day, she cracked four ribs due to her excessive stuffing, and never stopped to quite let them heal.

“Why… nhgff… would I? If I keep eating… oulmph… the other, fun pains make my ribs not hurt as… BHUUUuurrp… much!” Rinku gave her red gut, covered in red, irritated stretch marks a proud pat, grimacing proudly at how sensitive it is, since it hardly ever rests.

Rei once got overzealous in a pizza place, and right in front of everyone moved her arm too fast and pulled her eating arm’s muscle, somehow that only made her more depraved…

“I-I… hff… I couldn’t help it! It hurt but it was… hahh… the perfect reminder of just how fat I made myself..~” Rei gave the arm she once pulled a squeeze, blushing in her seats as her squeeze turned to a soft tender wobble, the former pianist using her now undexterous fingers to feel her enormity as her face only got redder.

Muni's was quite the scare, honestly, during an eat-a-thon, on the 37th day, she was challenged to do all the day's eating without throwing up, and well-

"The EMTs had to be called, apparently eating 134 pounds of food in 17 hours had my stomach clogged and close to bursting! My stretchmarks started bleeding, and everyone was going wild!" Muni said with a concerning pride on her face, any sane person would be terrified, but her addiction to food and praise long since worn down any self preservation she might've had. "I got banned after that and moved to a NSFW streaming site, it was really annoying, but I consider it my greatest milestone."

Kyoko's was a lot simpler, but just as devastating, she finished a "snack" as she likes to call them, or a binge, if you don't ignore reality, and on her way home she broke her ankle, one slightly miscalculated step sent the then 450+ blubberfall into a fall, and whatever muscles she used to have evaporated in the weeks she took to recover.

"I mean... mghff... it'sh true, what can I shay?" Kyoko asked with a reluctant shrug, no point in denying she was a fatass, no offense to Maho of course, but that wasn't getting her anywhere. "My leg never did recover perfect, makes walking... hff... way more annoying than I'd like."

And Shinobu... while her weight is not near the top of her health concerns, she did gain it all quickly, and that led to her equipment struggling to catch up, and her poor chair which was already struggling for months... well, she discovered the hard way just how deep the armrests dug into her lovehandles, when after a week and a half on her chair, they had to be broken off, and for several days she dealt with agonizing pressure sores and bruising.

"Why did you... hff... tell them that one?!" Shinobu asked in embarrassment and frustration. "They didn't... hff... need to know that...! I also sprained my ankle... and I broke a rib eating." She elaborated on incidents she was more comfortable sharing. "Just because they're less... hahh... impressive... BHUURRRP... doesn't mean you should share that one!" She shouted, before turning to her favorite sugary beverage to take her mind off of her humiliation she felt.

I discussed this in depth w my sibling last night but. something about the second person ever that complemented rei's piano playing out of sheer love (first being esora) after FOREVER and did not criticize her at all being rinku. something about how because of being in a school built just for music rei probably just heard criticism about her playing over and over and over again. something about how because of meeting rinku it caused rei to remember why she loves piano and why she started in the first place.

Like. rinku changed her life. just, entirely. rei was drawn in to this world rinku was in and was so so immersed.

I am NOT (even tho I rlly want to--) talking about brand new world but. Just. Man.

D4DJ Voice Actor's and Headcanon Voice Actors.

This will be a little different than my usual VA headcanon posts because this will actually feature both canon AND headcanon VA's from this series.

The only instance where D4DJ has been dubbed in English is the first season of the anime, which primarily featured Happy Around, Peaky P-Key and Photon Maiden, and while the other units made cameos and had voiced scenes, they didn't really get the spotlight. I wanted to include all the characters in the post though, because I very quickly fell in love with this series and the storylines, and characters sing to me, pun not intended.

So this is kind of a roundup of the voice actors of the characters in English, as well as who I think would voice the characters who DON'T appear in English. The rules are the same as ever.

The most important thing to remember is that the unnoficial VA's are NOT CANON. They are HEADCANONS ONLY. It’s just a hypothetical situation. If the characters were voiced, this is who I imagine would voice them.

Reconciliation (Modern AU)

Summary: They parted ways because he was moving. Now he's back in town and he doesn't know how to handle it. Luckily (or unluckily) his friends decide to do it for him

Four didn't want to be here.

And if that wasn't the understatement of the mechanic's life, he didn't know what was.

The restaurant was too fancy, too romantic, too much.

Why the hell had he agreed to meet his friends here?

He pulled lightly at his shirt, grimacing silently at it. He wasn't much into formal wear, but Warriors insisted and God forbid Four gave him a reason to go on yet another fashion rant.

He followed the greeter after giving his name and froze when he came upon the table she guided him to.

There sitting quietly and looking out the window, was his ex. His breath caught in his throat as a shudder ran down his spine.

He knew he was back in town, how could he not?

Wild had be ecstatic for days prior.

"What's got you so excited? You're like the Energizer Bunny on crack." Legend scoffed, watching Wild practically bounce around the living room, clutching his phone like it was the Holy Grail.

"My brother's coming home!" He responded, not even fazed by the insult. Twilight perked from where he was sitting, book in hand as he looked up.

"Rinku's coming home? That's great Wild." He smiled, completely oblivious to Four stiffening beside him

"You've got a brother?" Warriors inquired in faint surprise. Wild didn't really talk about his family apart from his adopted parents, so this was new information.

Wild grinned and nodded, bringing up a picture to show them. "Twin brother specifically!"

It was a picture of Wild and an almost identical male both grinning at the camera and holding peace signs. Four bit his lip and looked away before standing causing Twilight to perk at the rustle of movement.

"Four? Everything alright?"

"Just fine." He muttered. "I need to go work on my bike..." He strode off before the ranch hand could get another word out.

It didn't take long for him to be cornered by his concerned friends and be pestered by them until he revealed that he already knew Rinku since the two of them had been dating before he moved. But some things were said between them and they broke it off just before he left. Wild seemed to know this already, for he stayed back to apologize to Four about his over the top reaction causing Four to wave a hand.

"He's your brother, Wild. Of course you're going to be excited to see him again."

And Four thought that'd be the end of it,

Turns out he was wrong.

"Four...?"

He finally snapped to attention, cheeks coloring when he noticed Rinku watching him with a surprised and concern gaze. He swallowed heavily, mouth dry.

"H-Hey Rinku... didn't expect to see you here."

"The feeling's mutual." He didn't look upset at least, if anything the concern had faded into amusement. "Why do I have a feeling we both got set up? I was supposed to be meeting Wild here."

The ease of falling back into conversation with him was dangerous, but Four found himself relaxing as he sat down anyway. "I feel you. Supposedly I was meeting up with some friends and yet..." He gestured between the two of them, feel a slight ache in his chest at the quiet snicker.

"Gotta love them..." Rinku rested his cheek on his hand, "Trying to play Cupid or something."

"Mm-hm... No doubt they're keeping an eye on us from somewhere." Four would not put it past them. He recalled a similar scheme with Time and Malon a couple years ago, though that was more to just encourage the two to go on a first date at all.

"Oh certainly." Rinku agreed before he glanced at the smaller male, humor fading. "...how have you been?"

Four shrugged lightly, averting his gaze, "Same as always."

"That's... good..." The tension was almost palpable before Rinku sighed heavily, "Four, listen... this..." He gestured to the surrounding area. "Isn't really a place to talk." Honestly, it was a cliché idea, but he appreciated those who tried. "Would you join me for a walk? So we can at least try to clear the air?"

A small sigh escaped him as he ran a hand through his hair, missing the feeling of his bandana. "I... yeah... yeah. Let's get out of here." Together they left, the oppressive air of the restaurant being replaced by a cool evening breeze.

Four immediately ditched the tie he had been made to wear and sighed in relief, though his cheeks flushed at the light chuckle that escaped him.

"Formal wear never suited you."

"You can say that again." Being a mechanic, he was used to tank tops and jeans, easy casual wear that wouldn't get in his way. Suits and ties were too stuffy for him. He noted Rinku being the same way, another reason they got along so well.

"It might suit you better, but you still look weird in it." The taller male barked a laugh as he reached up to loosen his own tie before pulling his hair out of the bun it had been kept in. Four had to look away to keep away a blush. Even after all this time, he was still weak for Rinku, especially when his hair was down.

"Yeah, suits and ties aren't my thing either." Rinku mused, biting his hair tie for a moment before sweeping the long locks into a low ponytail. A sigh of relief escaped him as he finished tying it back, "Much better..."

"Well then, where to?" Four cocked his head as he glanced up at him. Rinku smiled bashfully, "Park? I haven't gotten to go since..." He trailed off and fell silent, curling into himself. "O-or we could go somewhere el-" He eeped as Four grabbed his hand and pulled him along.

"Nope. We're going to the park."

"Okay..." Silence fell between them, but at least it wasn't as awkward as it had been.

The busy streets gave way to a peaceful park thriving with so many flowers and trees. A beautiful tranquil place that just held a gentle atmosphere.

Despite himself, Four felt most of the tension he had been holding melt away. This had been one of their favorite places to visit together. It was quiet and simple and secluded, perfect for the two of them.

Glancing over, he silently tsk'd to himself when he noticed the tension in Rinku's shoulders. They'd never have a proper talk if he remained like that so he nudged him lightly to gain his attention. "Y'know no one has found our spot yet." He fought back a smirk at the surprised look on the taller male's face.

"Really?" Rinku's tone was disbelieving. It wasn't that well hidden was it?

"Really. C'mon." They hurried off the beaten path and through the trees. For being in the near heart of the city, the park was massive and easy to get lost in. That's how they found The Spot.

The Spot, their spot, was a small clearing in the trees. There were wild flowers everywhere and on the edge a small part of the little creek that ran through the park was visible. It was beautiful and peaceful and seemingly untouched by the majority of those who lived in the city.

The two settled down silently, sitting close together but far enough they couldn't touch without reaching. Out of the corner of his eye, Four watched as Rinku leaned back and closed his eyes, letting the light evening breeze relax him. He hadn't changed a bit, if the mechanic was honest. Still as beautiful the same as ever.

"So... you wanted to talk?"

Rinku opened his eyes, glancing back at him before his gaze fell.

"I... yeah..." He fiddled with his fingers, biting his lip. "I... I wanted to apologize... I said some rough things... awful things... and I shouldn't have, it was completely out of line."

"Yeah, it was." He could see him wince at his firm agreement before he sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "But, what I said wasn't all that great either. Poking at sore spots is a cruel thing to do, no matter how angry I was."

"Yes..." Rinku agreed softly. "But... I wanted to... explain something... I..." He faltered. "I was afraid... before I left... I didn't... I didn't want to leave you tied down..." Four froze at his words, eyes darting to him in disbelief.

"What?"

"I wasn't... I wasn't sure if you'd want to be in a long distance relationship... a-and I know I shouldn't have assumed, but I was... I was too afraid to actually say what I was thinking... I thought... maybe it would be better if we parted as friends... but then that argument..." He clenched his hands, watching them tremble. Then he winced at the frustrated groan.

"You mean to tell me that whole thing could have been avoided if you had asked me what I thought about long distance relationships?" Four rubbed his temples as he felt a headache coming on. "Gods Rinku, I know you can be dense, but come on man!"

"I'm sorry..." He wouldn't look at him, ears bent in shame. "I was scared..."

"I know." His frustrations eased a little. He knew how nervous the other was about relationships due some problems with his first one. "Look at me. Please."

Slowly their eyes met and Four could see the regret and nerves that were consuming the other.

"Next time, talk to me. Properly. Don't beat around the bush, don't make assumptions, just talk. Ask me things. You won't know unless you actually ask."

"Next time...?" Rinku managed to get out causing Four to huff softly.

"If you think I'm going to let you walk away from me again, you're dead wrong." His cheeks were burning, but he wouldn't look away. "You idiot, I still love you!" He ignored the stuttering gasp as he moved and climbed onto Rinku's lap. "I'm not letting you get away..." He fought back a smirk as Rinku automatically wrapped his arms around his waist.

Rinku's face was burning, but he didn't even try to move him. "You... you're sure about this...? I know I hurt you..."

"And I hurt you." Four countered, "We're even." Unless... maybe he didn't feel that way about him anymore? His confidence wavered, maybe he was making a mistake-

His thoughts were immediately interrupted by tender kiss, a deep flush crossing his cheeks. He practically melted into it, reaching up to drape his arms around his shoulders and feeling him tighten his hold around his waist. His head was spinning, but fuck if he didn't love it, had missed it so so much.

The kiss was broken and he jolted as he felt tears spilling down his cheeks. Why was he crying...? He glanced up at Rinku who had his own tears rolling down flushed cheeks.

"I missed you... I missed you so much..." He hiccupped and buried his face against his shoulder. Four shivered and followed suit, clinging to him tightly. "I missed you too..."

Who knew how long the two of them had been sitting there, but eventually tears dried and breathing evened once more.

"We should... get out of here..." Rinku mumbled, though he seemed very reluctant to let go. He relaxed when he heard Four hum and tighten his hold on him.

"Your place?" He asked quietly, not even bothering to lift his head from the taller male's chest.

"My place..." Wild was staying over at a friend's, he knew that much. Rinku stood and Four didn't even bother to complain as he was carried off. The ache in his chest was finally gone.

Bonus:

"Four didn't come back last night." Hyrule noted at breakfast.

"Probably stayed with lover boy for the night." Warriors smirked. "They didn't waste any time-ow." He winced as Wild smacked his shoulder with the spatula he was holding.

"That's my brother you're talking about." He scolded while Twilight rolled his eyes, sipping his coffee.

All the boys perked when they heard the door open and footsteps coming down the hall. Out of the suit and tie and into a baggy t-shirt that showed off his left shoulder and collar bone (the latter which was suspiciously covered in red marks) and a pair of jeans, Four casually stepped into the room, hand running through his already messy bedhead. Walking past the shell shocked stares, he swiped his mug and the coffee, poured his fill and turned back to the doorway.

"I'm going out this afternoon. No idea when I'll be back. Don't wait up." And he was gone.

"Oh my god."
