HorrorFarm ShipKid!
Character sheet/artwork by the super talented @radicalrainbow who, YES, is accepting commissions!! Their art is going to be a staple here for my projects, but you can always head over to their site and ask for your very own!
Now, let's get down to business.
Say hello to Dionaea! 👋
Daughter of Horror and Farm she lives off the back-roads surrounded by fields, forests, and creakbeds! She ain't afraid to get down and dirty and enjoys rangeling hogs, climbing trees, and fishin' by the riverside! But that's just basic knowledge - let's get to know her more personally!
-Dionaea stands at 4 feet 11 inches off the ground and weighs approximately 130 pounds (with ecto). She has a "pet" venus flytrap named Whiskers, which Horror and Farm find especially amusing as "Dionaea Muscipula" is the scientific term for a fly-trap, and where her name originated from.
-She helps her father's work on the farm even though it's not a must. Working with the animals makes up her favorite tasks while pulling weeds and slashing is her least.
-Dionaea has trypophobia (a fear of holes) and apiphobia (a fear of bees).
-She is currently in a relationship with HotRod. ( @radicalrainbow ship kid with Fresh x Greaser) The two are opposites that attract, and albeit Dionaea's head over heels for the other, Horror and Farm don't quite see the appeal...
-Dionaea was born with frail bones and, as such, has limited magic and has suffered multiple injuries to her person. The most notable of these is located on her arm and face.
-Dionaea dabbles in witchcraft, with her main deity being Gaia (the goddess of the earth). She reads tarot cards, has a book of shadows, presses herbs and flowers, and collects/works with crystals and other natural items that come from the earth (including shells, acorns, animal bones, etc.).
This character is still a work in progress, so more information to come as ideas flow in! In the meantime, asks are open for Dionaea for those interested! Thank you! 😊

My illustration for chapter 5 of D&D Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants. It was so much fun to paint Diancastra and Bigby himself! #dnd
AD: Emi Tanji
This is the second book by Wizards of the Coast I had the opportunity to make art for 😃I would like to thank Fer Hernández and Pam Rangel for kindly helping me out with this one as well as my dad, who made a model of the structure for me to use as reference.

Tim Holt, Humphrey Bogart, and Walter Huston in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (John Huston, 1948)
Cast: Humphrey Bogart, Walter Huston, Tim Holt, Bruce Bennett, Barton MacLane, Alfonso Bedoya, Arturo Soto Rangel, Manuel Dondé, Jose Torvé, Margarito Luna. Screenplay: John Huston, based on a novel by B. Traven. Cinematography: Ted D. McCord. Art direction: John Hughes. Film editing: Owen Marks. Music: Max Steiner.
It's always shocking to realize that Humphrey Bogart failed to be nominated for an Oscar for his performance as the bitter, paranoid Fred C. Dobbs, the anti-hero of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. I mean, who today remembers some of the performances that were nominated instead: Lew Ayres in Johnny Belinda (Jean Negulesco)? Dan Dailey in When My Baby Smiles at Me (Walter Lang)? Clifton Webb in Sitting Pretty (Lang)? To the Academy's credit, John Huston won as both director and screenwriter, and his father, Walter, won the supporting actor Oscar -- the first instance of someone directing his own father to an Academy Award for acting -- which his smartly delineated old coot certainly deserved. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre has a generosity of characterization in both the screenplay by John Huston from B. Traven's novel and the performances of Bogart, Walter Huston, and Tim Holt. Let's also put in a word for Holt, who had one of the odder careers of a potential Hollywood star: He gave good performances in some of the best movies to come out of the studios in the 1940s, including The Magnificent Ambersons (Orson Welles, 1942) and My Darling Clementine (John Ford, 1946), and was a handsome and capable presence in them. But even after working for Welles, Ford, and Huston, after The Treasure of the Sierra Madre he went back to performing in B-movie Westerns, which had been the stock in trade of his father, Jack Holt (who has a small part as a flophouse bum in this film). Tim Holt's heart seemed not to be in the movie business, and he retired to his ranch, making only a few appearances after 1952. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre was mostly filmed on location -- a rarity for the time -- in the state of Durango and the town of Tampico, Mexico. (Some scenes had to be shot in the studio, of course, and it's easy to spot the artificial lighting and hear the sound stage echoes in these, which don't match up to the ones Ted McCord filmed on location.)

Hey!! I’m back :) I know it’s been a long time and now I even post something on the day tumblr dies... well, I hope it doesn’t get flagged!
I really like this photo (she’s sooo pretty!!!!! Her name’s Karyna Rangel!) so I drew a portrait of her. I don’t really like the way it turned out, but I still wanted to show it to you guys.

🎃🕸 Halloween cosplay of my kids!! 🦇🎃
Since I need my new pfp for Halloween and I have total of 4 children, so why not draw them all?? Also, drawing in these old cartoon style is really fun and refreshing from my usual style, well, except for you, you anime freak lol.
Bonus: for those who have longest time to dress and take a photo of course! lol

Meet The Team
This year the Awards are being run by a team of four, each with their own specialties. This hopefully means the running and participating will be smoother and the whole experience more fun.
The Team is comprised of...
JADEYS-WORLD!
@jadeys-world has been writing for over ten years, but only found Irondad in 2020 around the start of lockdown in the UK. Most of her stories are for the same series – To Be Worthy – which grew from a single 100k estimated piece to a monster of 500k words and still counting. Jadey is the nutter that organized the 2021 awards, and you cannot imagine how happy and relieved she is to have this team on her side for the 2022 running. She’s a woman-of-all-work when it comes to the awards, but you’ll mostly see her on Tumblr where she side runs the blog until nominations start and that’s when she’ll throw herself into work and ride the high of all the the Awards fun.
SUPERHEROTIGER!
Coming back for her second year of helping run the awards —she must be a glutton for punishment — is @superherotiger - SuperHeroTiger on AO3. She is an artist and writer of Irondad greatness for the past two years. She’s studying animation and her favorite thing to write is AUs. Superherotiger was a genuine superhero when it came to the 2021 awards as she saved Jadey from a complete meltdown over the sheer amount of work and approaching deadlines. This year we will be featuring her magnificent art, too.
ASYOULEFT!
@asyouleft is a newbie to the Awards team, though she was nominated last year. She’s been a comics fan since she was a kid, and a Spider-Man fan since she learned to read — that’s what I call legacy. A longtime reader and lurker on AO3, she posted her first Irondad story under her penname kingdomfaraway in 2020. She’s a librarian — which is in my Top 10 Jobs to have — and she’s going to be in charge of double-checking everything to do with nominations and voting before anything is posted for you guys to read. She might have the toughest job when it comes to cleaning up after Jadey as she is known for making boo-boos and only got through last year because superherotiger checked up on her.
IRON-MUM!
@iron-mum has been writing Irondad for about a year and a half. She loves reading and writing domestic chaos and hurt/comfort fics — don’t we all? Her AO3 username is IronMum. When she’s not taking care of the kiddos, she’s brushing up on her pattern design art skills — she’s our very own Cath Kidston— or writing. Iron-mum’s role in these awards is the one that had Jadey skipping around the room because we neeeeeed this help. Iron-Mum is skilled in data processing, so we’ll have professional data input this time around instead of Jadey’s cobbled together Word doc — which was pretty but not very easy to maneuver around.

Here is an Art Trade for my god Friend Ms. @tyeler-kostlan , I tried my Best on doing my part of the trade for her, and It's a Good thing I've included her New Character Winnie Rangel, but so I've included Five of her OC's into a single row frame, I feel bad for not adding what I can fit on to the Paper for the Rest, But It was a Pretty Busy day for me Friday.
From left to right:
Tyeler K., Sybil, Winnie Rangel, Luna, & Skull Girl.
Hope you Enjoy, It's the Best I can do here for now.

Helvetian Bird, Bernard Rangel
This painting belongs to a very private and intimate period of my personal life. My mother's passing. We both had the same birthday so as one can imagine the bond was very close. Bella was a strong and courageous character. We clashed often but we developed a respect for each other. Some of the titles of the works carry the Helvetian title a good explanation can be an understanding of a landlocked country and it could also refer to the centre or heart of something as Switzerland is in fact. I did live there in Bluche/Crans Montana for two years and I learnt how to ski, eat Raclette, Fondue and drink Swiss stuff to overcome snow blindness. The Alps there are simply beautiful. My Contemporary Tribal Surreal experience was sitting there "high" up in the snow overlooking the mountains as the cloud covered the valley below. Simply magical.
