I love how over time kid xelqua has become less just baby grian and more grian's kid who he found in the woods/somehow created and now the kid represents all of grian's childhood trauma and Catholic guilt and grian is just trying to break the cycle bc there's this magic fucking baby who is the best thing in the world

JKAGJKD yes Exactly, see evo Grian has a lot of family issues, from being an orphan, to the Watchers, he has ISSUES, so raising a version of himself is..... definitely odd, but weirdly healing.. He sees how he was as a kid, he wasn't that bad, he was just a kid ! He didn't deserve to be abandoned or anything. He sees all of his ache in Xelqua, he's very much breaking the cycle.

the Sully kids' reaction to Jake saying Spider "knew everything" breaks my heart.

i love lane she is my baby so. instead in my mind lane escapes stars hollow to live in nyc on her own at nineteen and the city is huge and intimidating and she has to share an apartment with like three guys but its okay because she has her own room and there's this shelf right in the middle of her wall and she's got all of her CDs and records spilling out right there in the open and she's got posters of nico and bjorke and bowie and fiona apple scattered around her walls and she works in like a music shop during the day and bartends at night and rory comes to stay with her sometimes and they spend hours sitting in parks and talking even when its really cold and rory doesn't say anything when lane tenses up sometimes and lane doesn't say anything when rory looks out beyond her like she's waiting for someone. and then she becomes the drummer in a punk band and they get to play in CBGB and then they're invited to go on tour and they're playing in venues all across the country and lane's laughing again and she's talking to people and she's kissing girls. and then one night she's playing out in California and out in the crowd she spots someone familiar and he's smiling at her and she's smiling back and after he asks her if she'd like a drink and she says yes. and maybe it'll go somewhere maybe it won't but there's hope in the air and it's all going to be okay because she's got purple in her hair and she can talk as loudly as she wants.

She blasts disco music 24 hours a day. She chain smokes. She is so obsessed with Vegemite that she cut a holiday visiting family back home short because she was seized by Cravings. She took her first ever selfie with me. She flirts with my fiancé. Once I had to rescue her from her finding a lizard in her toaster. She drinks her first coffee of the day at like 4 am. Recently she told me “if anyone tries to take you away from me… I will kill them” with total seriousness and I fully reciprocate it. She is a constant source of chaos in our lives. me, finishing a rant about a fic i read: so yeah, the reason that he's such a well thought out and developed character, despite his appearance as a stereotypical cliché, is why he deserved a more powerful death than what we saw. It is also important to note that-

She can then reconstitute her body in any patch of shadow in her line of sight, so long as the shadow is of great enough area to cover her human form. Smearing the pitch onto people and objects allows her to teleport them between shadow at will. With repeated use of her breaker state, she becomes increasingly sluggish to reconstitute and is temporarily weakened after transformation.

a couple of dentist visits ago i was sitting in the chair for a few hours and i was in pain and not having fun but this was when i had just started obsessing over marvey so to cope i came up with a fic idea while i was there...

ive been having tooth pain again but i hate going so to cope again all ive been thinking about is this marvey fic idea again where hurt!mike has to go to the dentist so im gonna force yall to hear about it too

the gist is that yes even though mike is an adult, he hasn't been to the dentist in a hot second (ie since high school) bc he just didn't have enough money for it to be a priority

anyways he starts dealing with some general issues: toothache, headaches, sensitivity, disrupted sleep, etc. that just gets bad enough to the point where it's obvious that something is wrong

harvey can tell he's not functioning at full capacity: is avoiding certain foods, looks like he's in pain sometimes, and just generally seems more irritable as of late

eventually it reaches it's breaking point and harvey confronts mike and has to force him to go to the dentist cuz he's fed up (also cuz he cares about mike obvi but he's not gonna say that)

mike has general dentist anxiety (he hasn't been in a while and he's also definitely worried about the copay even tho i imagine this law firm provides dental insurance lol) but harvey’s nice enough to be there for him

anyways after finally going and figuring out the issue, mike's set up for a procedure (tooth extraction? root canal? idk yet), and after said procedure harvey has to deal with gassed up mike who's either woken up from the sedative or just heavily anesthetized

basically just harvey taking care of mike from then on, giving meds and comfort when the pain becomes too much after the anesthesia wears off. i just want harvey to be all soft and sweet with equally soft and loopy mike

i have hopes to write this at some point (my depression is kicking my ass rn) but anyone else is welcome to take inspiration from this! i encourage it cuz i'd love to see what other people come up with! <3
