Your son who usually looked rather happy when you come to pick him up from training now looked bothered. Just like his dad he’s not good at explaining his emotions when something’s wrong. But your mother instincts knew something was up.

“Hiya, how was training my boy?” You said and pecked his cheek as he entered the car, visibly disappointed.

Leo hummed in response and you took it as he was tired and not in a chatty mood. Until a few minutes later, he spoke up.

“When is Daddy coming home?” Leo asked.

“He should be home just before your bedtime.” You answered.

Trent has been away due International duty a few weeks. You thought you’d cope alright without him but then you find yourself laying awake at night, wishing he was next to you.

When you came home Leo went up to his room quickly, your attempt at trying to find out what was bothering him in car didn’t work. You could really use Trent’s help right now.

Right when you thought of Trent, you heard the front door open.

Trent searched the room for his two loved ones, only to find you. He walked towards you, no words, just the two of you in each other’s arms again.

“Oh my love, I’ve missed you so much Y/n.” He cooed and kissed your forehead.

“I’m glad you’re home again T, it’s been a bit lonely without you.” You said and smiled at him.

“Alright, where’s the kiddo?” Trent implored as he again scanned the room for his little one.

“In his room, he was not in the best mood earlier.” You explained as you watched Trent furrow his brows.

“What do you mean?” He wondered.

“I don’t know Trent. I tried to talk to him but he wouldn’t tell me what was wrong, something might happened at the academy. Could you try talk to him?” You grumbled and sighed as Trent rubbed your back to calm you down.

“Don’t worry baby, I’ll talk to him.” Trent comforted then made his ways up the stairs.

Trent knocked on his door and heard a ‘yes’ in a tired tone.

As Trent walked in he could see Leo watching highlights of Trent himself on YouTube. Leo watched closely how he crossed the ball, how he took a free kick and so on. And he immediately knew what was on Leo’s mind.

“Daddy!” Leo beamed and his face lit up as soon as he saw his daddy.

“Hey little man!” Trent chuckled and hugged his son.

“What’s up?” Trent began and Leo put his ipad aside, turning all his focus to Trent who was his role model. All Leo wanted was to be a footballer like his dad. He tries to copy every move the 66 does on the pitch.

“Daddy I’m scared.” Leo revealed and Trent looked at him in awe.

“Worried about what Leo?” Trent asked, wanting him to open up more so he can get the whole picture.

“That-“ Leo stuttered.

“Go on.” Trent soothed.

“That I might not make it through the academy.” Leo said and bursted into tears. Trent felt his heart break a little when he heard what his son said. He put his arm around his little shoulder and comforted him, he wanted nothing more for him to be okay.

“Shh, don’t you worry. I’ve been exactly in your shoes.” Trent stated and Leo looked up at his dad.

“Just focus on the now. The coaches know how good you are. I know how good you are, okay? You’ve got talent Leo, they see that.” Trent explained and watched as Leo’s eyes lit up with hope.

”And don’t be afraid to tell Mommy, she used to play footy back in the day. She will understand too.” Trent added and heard the door open, seeing you standing there admiring them both.

“Aw you two!” You whispered and tried not to get too emotional of seeing Trent and Leo together.

“Mommy I didn’t know you used to play football!” Leo said and giggled whilst you widened your eyes at Trent.

“Oh yeah I did, a long time ago.” You claimed and laughed, thinking about the memories when you and Trent used to play in his garden when you two were young lovers.

After finding out why Leo was upset you all three cuddled up together in yours and Trent’s room and watched a movie.

“You know what Leo, Daddy helps past academy players to not give up on their dream after being dropped.” You spoke up, mentioning The After Academy.

“So you’re in safe hands.” Trent chimed in. Neither of you and Trent was worried about Leo not making it professional because you both see the hard work he puts in everyday at such a young age.

A few days later

“Look at him Trent.” You whispered to Trent as you both stood watching Leo’s U6 match. Leo was absolutely brilliant, scoring two goals already in the first half.

“Our starboy.” Trent cooed and looked at you, smiling.

Your beloved Cardinal continues to scribble away at something on his desk, absentmindedly rambling to you about his week, when he notices you haven't responded to him in several minutes. "Sorella?" He perks up, gazing across the room to find his favorite Sister of Sin perched on his bed, lost in her own little world as she whittles away at something on her iPad.

Silence falls over the room, except for the sound of your Apple Pencil quietly tapping the glass screen. Copia decides it's time to quit working for now anyway; it is the weekend after all, time to partake in the sin of sloth.

Letting out a sigh, the Cardinal stands, sauntering over to get a peek at your art. What he sees makes him flush a deep shade of red, coughing wildly to disguise his shock as if he were choking on something.

"Cardi, are you okay??!" you ask, concerned at his sudden outburst.

"Sì, Sorella! I am- I am fine!!" he says practically running to the kitchenette, "I was just going to make some tea, would you like some?!"

Surely your face showed your confusion, but you don't question it further, simply replying with your favorite tea flavor.

After a while, he re-enters the room, tray in hand with a pot of water and teacups.

"You're dressed nice," you remark at his button up shirt and slacks. It's not the full Cardinal get up, but you know that's pretty much what he wears underneath the cassock.

"Ah, yes. I had a meeting with Papa Terzo this morning," he responds, pouring water into the porcelain cups and plopping teabags in.

"Terzo? He got up early on Saturday for a meeting? Must've been important." You glance up at Copia momentarily in disbelief before returning to your drawing.

"I said I 𝘩𝘢𝘥 a meeting; I didn't say it happened," he deadpans, before you chuckle at the realization of what he meant. "I'm sure he had some Ghoul or fine Sorella occupying his short attention span." He rolls his eyes, drizzling a little honey into his teacup.

"Or both," you quip.

"Dirty girl," he mumbles under his breath, trying to hide the smirk on his lips. "May I sit?"

"You may, but it's pajamas only in this bed," you smirk back up at him.

"Oh, so you get to make the rules about what happens in my bed?" You love seeing him banter like this; he isn't always so confident around others, and it had taken a while for you to get him out of his shell.

"Well... I seem to recall you whispering in my ear about how I was your queen a few nights ago. Typically the queen makes the rules," you shrug.

He scrunches his nose at you playfully before going to change as you had requested. In the meantime you take a sip of your own tea, appreciating the way Copia always makes it just the way you like.

Returning in nothing but a pair of maroon sweatpants that leave little to the imagination, he asks, "Is this to your liking, amore mio?"

You look up from your artwork, admiring your muse standing at the foot of the bed, hands on his hips and expectant eyebrows raised. Smiling shyly, you still find yourself easily flustered by your lover, even after all this time. Gazing over his bare chest, dusted with brunette hair and marked with the sign of the Olde One, and then on up to his handsome visage with his well-groomed mustache and full sideburns, you nod your approval.

"Now, may I sit?" he repeats his earlier question.

You nod again, glancing back down at your tablet, but when you feel his hands on your shoulders, urging you to lean forward, you giggle, "What are you doing?!"

"Sorella," he grunts as he throws a leg behind you, flopping down on the mattress, "I am 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 to offer you a more comfortable seating arrangement as well!"

His dramatic tone sets you off laughing, while he settles in comfortably behind you. Your Cardinal knows humor is one of the many ways to your heart, and, oh, how he desires to be someone that you care for. Finally, with his legs on either side of yours and his back against the headboard, he pulls your hips so you're placed squarely in front of him then tugs on your shoulders so you're lying back against his chest.

You stop and look up at him, trying to hide your chuckles.

"Well, we are comfortable now, sì? Go on, continue sketching," he dismisses you with a smirk, as if he hadn't just caused a scene trying to get in bed.

"Okayyy," you concede, still grinning as you return your iPad to your lap.

Now, the sketch you are working on is quite... steamy, to put it lightly. Your Cardinal had caught a glance at it earlier, but now he's settled in, your heat pressing against him as you work diligently.

From what he can tell from the lines on the digital page, it seems two lovers are deep in the throes of passion trying what he would describe as a rather... experimental position. Depicting a man laid back with his partner atop him, facing away and legs spread wide, the picture has heat rushing various places in Copia's body. First and foremost, the flush in his cheeks tells him he is feeling embarrassed or even guilty, like a young boy seeing a Playboy for the first time. But the stirring between his legs has him wanting to see more.

Carefully he peaks over your shoulder, watching the naughty display come to life before him. "S-so... Is, um, is that... you?" he asks softly, admiring the curves of the hips and breasts of the woman on screen.

You chuckle at the way his shy personality resurfaced, "Yes, see?" You pinch to zoom out, revealing your own likeness next to his, clearly blissed out.

"Is-is-is-is that 𝘮𝘦??" he stutters, shocked.

Turning to look over your shoulder at his bewildered expression, you pull him in for a sweet kiss, fingertips tickling at his jawline. "Of course it is, il mio Cardinale... I haven't been with anyone else since you."

Blushing at your admission, he tells you, "S-sì, I haven't either, amore." Just as you're about to turn your attention back to your art, he blurts out, "But... but we haven't done that before."

"Hmm?" you ask coyly.

"That--uhh--𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵!" He points at the lovers intertwined. "The position... We haven't done that position before."

"Well, that's what art is for," you smile at him, "to explore the feelings we've had in the past, or maybe want to experience in the future..."

As you go back to your work, your lover finds his hands gripping your hips roughly as his head is reeling, the blood traveling south not helping his case. "Well... Wouldn't you like to," he grunts into the back of your neck, mustache tickling at the skin there, "work from a real life reference?" The buck of his hips into your backside accentuates his point.

You press the end of your stylus to your lips, trying to hide your excitement.

"I mean, we are already right here... We are practically in position as it is, cara mia," his suave manner sneaks forward again. With that, his hand sneaks down your front urging your legs aside.

"Copiaaa," you sigh as his fingers softly trace over your core through your silky pajama bottoms. Relaxing into his ministrations, your head rolls back, landing on his shoulder. His other hand snakes around your waist, holding you steady as he massages your breasts. Alternating rolling your nipples between his fingers, he knows he'll make you putty in his hands in no time at all.

"What's the rush?" you chuckle at your lover.

Jenson puffs out a breath as Nico settles next to him on the bed, poking him in the chest with his elbow. He ignores Jenson, more interested in whatever he's reading on his Ipad. Jenson turns on his side, lays his head on his hands and just looks at Nico.

He just bought new reading glasses. They were insanely expensive, hand-made from some wood that's currently going extinct in South America. They look a bit ridiculous to Jenson, but Nico always tells him he has no taste for finer things in life. Jenson always replies "I have a taste for you, don't I," and it never fails to make Nico smile just a little bit, in the corner of his mouth, like he can't help himself. He usually rolls his eyes at Jenson, too, but Jenson still counts it as a win.

"Hey babe, I was thinking about something."

Just like Jenson knew would happen, Nico rolls his eyes and looks away from the Ipad, frowning just a tiny bit.

"I told you not to call me babe," he says. Jenson smiles and ignores him.

"Since I'm driving Le Mans this year, you know that means I'm racing again." Nico doesn't acknowledge him, waiting for the punchline. "Well, that also means that technically," he drawls, moving closer to Nico, "you are my wag."

"What." There is no inflection in Nico's voice, and Jenson can't hold his chuckles in.

Jenson raises himself on his elbows, and just in time, because Nico's favorite thing to do when he's baffled is to misdirect the conversation. Luckily for Jenson, it's usually misdirection by means of sex.

The kisses they share are familiar, and still they thrill Jenson to his core. Nico climbs into Jenson's lap, and Jenson loves that he's let his hair grow again. He's missed pulling on it properly for years now.

"You're an idiot," Nico mumbles into their kisses, making short work of ridding them both of their shirts. "Yeah," Jenson moans back, "but an idiot with the prettiest wag in any paddock."

I just read your Vandalize fanfic on AO3 and I just wanted to tell you how AMAZING it was??? It was so good and I don't think I've ever read a Hi-Fi RUSH fanfic that was so high quality before. And it was all in character too which was UUGGH it was so good. Do you have any tips for how you write?? I'm just obsessed with how you wrote the whole thing!!

TEEHEE TY!!! It was an idea I had stewing in my brain for a few days before I actually did anything with it. So glad you enjoyed it so far!

As for writing tips, I'm gonna be honest and say I overexplain things. A lot. It's like some special breed of autism for me to just describe things in intense detail because I have so much to talk about. I turn my brain off and just... write. Whenever I got stuck I utilized Sprinto on Discord for that extra motivation, plus it was fun to see how much I could write in a short timeframe. It also helps to have a few friends willing to read what I have/share ideas that I can use for the current chapter or for later ones. Believe me, the fic is only barely starting.

I also tend to overanalyze characters. Can't tell you how much time I spent rewatching playthroughs and scouring the wiki to get a feel for everyone's personalities. Hi-Fi Rush is just one of those games that captivates me like an iPad baby's daily dose of Cocomelon. It really helped to write down canon quirks, personal headcannons, and extra lore I came up with before I actually worked on the fic itself.

Shoutout to my friend Dragon for suggesting making Kale trans btw. It was subtly nodded to in the fic but will be expanded upon a lot more in a future chapter. Probably one of the best ideas he's ever had. I'm such a sucker for unlikely T4T.

I will say the themes get a lot darker later on. I turn Kale into a sopping wet cat of a man and I don't intend on holding back on making him the most tragic character I've ever written; And that's a MASSIVE bar to pass considering my work involving my Sonic and Pokémon AUs.

2023 YEAR IN REVIEW!!!

My artstyle changed a lot this year, especially after my shift from ibis paint to procreate after getting my iPad (drawing on an iPad is the BEST btw 100% recommend I love it way more than a phone and it didn’t die after a month like my old wacom 💀💀). I’m relatively happy with where my art is atm and I hope to continue to improve in 2024!

Explanation of all the silly art down below! (Mostly so I can tell y’all who the fanart is for but also cause I like rambling)

January: A drawing of my Rise Leo human design I did to test out a pixel brush I found for Ibis Paint. He’s very fun to draw hehe I need to draw him more-

February: I wanted to learn how to draw the future designs of Leo and Mikey along with CJ so I planned to draw them all together! I struggled with Leo though so I just got rid of him. Sorry Peepaw 😞😞💔💔💔

March: Fanart for @beannary ‘s TLP au! I love it so much so I had to draw smth for it hehe 😈😈💥💥💥 which reminds me I need to draw more at some point- might redraw it at some point cause I’m not super happy with how it turned out but I do like the idea a lot

April: The month I created Reticent! April’s Fools was the first episode I came up with so I drew a chapter poster! It ended up being very different to the chapter cover I drew a couple months later but it’s still cool :D Leo is being weirdly affectionate to Mikey though what the heck that isn’t like him smh. Although I guess it was meant to be purposefully exaggerated sooooo 🥰

June: Krangified Donnie is literally my favourite concept ever thats it that’s all I have to say dbskdbwkh I adore Krangified Donnie and if the Rise brainrot takes over the Reticent brainrot for a while then I will probably be drawing Krangified Donnie during that time sorry not sorry

July: Reticent Chapter 3’s cover yippee!!! Still my favourite Reticent cover although Chapter 8’s is a close second (I can’t wait to post it once it’s been betaread yippee!!!). The scribble over Leo’s eyes is literally just because I was struggling to draw his eyes and i was getting annoyed dbskdbskdb it’s actually a very common issue with him (common Ret!Leo L). Also Mikey being reflected in the mirror is a reference to Mirror Man by Jack Stauber which I’ve basically considered his theme song since @aaronymous999 introduced it to me ebwjcbkwhd thank you Mr. Aaronymous! Also somebody said he was in the barbie box and I still need to draw that to this day because Mikey would’ve killed to go see Barbie.

August: RET DONNIE WOOOOO he’s being bullied again!!! I drew that piece for a colour palette challenge request and realised I got the prompt wrong so I just made it into its own thing 💥💥💥 it’s usually a flickering light gif but I chose to just use the version with the light on for this post. The photos in the background were really fun to draw hehe either April’s or Mikey’s is my favourite.

September: MY 500 FOLLOWER DTIYS YIPPEE (/my 150 follower DTIYS for tumblr). This one took me. Forever to draw and I love it to pieces hehe it was really fun to design Mikey’s room and figure out outfits for the sillies and idk the concept of a sleepover just seemed really fun to me dbskbdkdb- and all the entries I got were so so awesome I loved them all to pieces!!! I still look at them all the time hehe

October: FANART OF @endlesslogo ‘S HUMAN RISE LEO DESIGN WOOOOOO!!! This was the piece I started rendering on hehe it was so much fun to draw!!!! Although I did have a fight with rendering the hair for over an hour svsjegksbdk HOW DO PEOPLE DO IT FR!!!

November: Me and my friends were working on a crossover between our TMNT iterations so I drew all of our Karai’s together!!! Dude, I need a relationship advice from you. and please be blunt and honest with me.

So I have fiancee. To start with, I never read AO3 or tumblr near him, cos I don't want him to see me as this crazy maniac girl who loves weird and questioning fanfics that doesn't makes sense and out of line from normality. And plus our environment kinda religious and you have to agree half of the fics in here and AO3 are mostly sinful. Including poly relationship, since it looks like cheating.

Next, since we already engaged and we even planning to marry next year, I just wanna be true to him. I want him to see me entirely, that this is the woman you'll spend your lifetime with, the woman that'll bring your child to the world, etc, etc.

So, I started to read Tumblr even when he's around. Even on his lap, while he watched his mechanical series idk what about. But because I read it on iPad, obviously he also can read it too. And I love your poly marauders a lot. And it's not even that smut, not at all! And I've read something worse than your fluff poly relationship fics.

Well, since he see me read all your poly fics, he asked me about it and then we joked about it. He asked me if I would like to be in a poly relationship. And I jokingly say yes if only marauders, the one you write are real. No other marauders, only your marauders cos I know your marauders are so fucking perfect it's obvious that they won't exist in this cruel world

Suddenly he said, should we try it? Cos next year we won't be able to be crazy again. Next year we'll be tied to one another by god and government. so it'll be our last chance to be crazy. And at this point I really confused cos why the hell he brings this out? I thought we're only joking around. Why he makes it sounds real?

While I want to asked him what is he talking about, he pulled his phone, open Instagram, and show me account of the girls he would like to be in poly relationship with.

So, this is obviously deeply personal, and I'm going to try to give my advice because you've asked for it, but I just want to say first that you should do whatever feels right for you and your relationship. I've never been in a relationship and don't know your fiancee, so I can only give you my perspective within those limitations.

It seems like this started because you want to go into your married life having complete honesty with your partner (I would want the same), so my first instinct is to have a frank conversation with him about your concerns and see what he says/how he reacts.

If you're worried he's been cheating on you, though, I can see how he might just lie in that situation. In my own opinion (again, this is just me, do what feels right for you), I wouldn't want to be in a relationship with someone I don't fully trust. In general, I'd probably try and step back to analyze my relationship and ask myself whether I really want to marry someone I'm already having doubts about. That's me being as blunt as I can.

I really hope it all works out for you honey, and I'm proud of you for wanting to be honest in your relationship <3

Hi!! First off, because I haven’t put in an ask before, I want to say that your art is absolutely stunning, and I’m always super excited to see it on my dash. Second, I’m so sorry if this has been asked before (I can’t find your FAQ and tumblr is dumb :,) but are you having issues with shop display right now?

Although I haven’t been super active in keeping up to date with stuff so I’m probably missing something (that I couldn’t find), when I try and look at the shop it gives me this:

Which is what was displayed a while ago (as I’m sure you know lol). I would normally just check back in later, but I can’t tell if the shop is closed or not, and I didn’t know if this was an issue and wanted to bring it to your attention (assuming the shop doesn’t just open same time again next year).

This is the last of my elemental coats, and the first to feature my new PenTips Mat and metal Ink tips. These make drawing on the iPad feel a lot more like using a paper and pencil, and it’s been really interesting to get used to. (I’m not being sponsored, btw - they were a birthday gift.) My now much-slower work process has changed again as a result, but it’s been really enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend them.

🩵Got motivated to draw again, I really don’t know what to draw the past few weeks, because of art block, but seriously I never stopped drawing, its just that I felt like im pressuring myself too much to draw even if I dont feel like it, I just want to feel fulfilled on what I’m doing, but Thank God 🙏 right now I am. Atleast other than drawing I have other hobbies anyway like practicing, playing with my violin, and thats what I thiught of, maybe if I put all my thoughts to a drawing i’ll feel better, and I guess it worked.

Revival AU notes/Headcanons part 4

((Are we doing this again? yes we are!

Sorry it’s been awhile since the last one, my computer wouldn’t let Tumblr work anymore, broke my old iPad, opened up my other one, and just got a new computer all set up. My dad’s gonna be using my old Mac Mini until he can get a new one. I’m just glad to be back and writing headcanons for this crazy AU. especially after where I left off last time.

This’ll pick up after what happened in MAR10 Day btw))

** Regarding the stream, and Garcy’s whereabouts, Garcello hides in the park, away from everyone else from Saturday to Sunday, watching the stream

** despite what SMG4 said, Gar can’t keep away from making sure he’s okay, having a feeling he knows what’s he’s going through.

**Sunday night, Meggy finds him, worried out of her mind, as Axol begged her to help him find Garcello.

**the two hug and Meggy takes Gar back to her place to clean up, where Mario’s been staying.

** Mario shows Garcy what the main event was, which hurts to see.

** the others, minus SMG3, show up, see Gar, and hug, thankful he’s okay.

** Meggy, Mario, and the others find out that Garcello’s been keeping an eye on SMG4 via the stream, when Annie asked why, he tells them “I’m worried about him, I’ve seen this behavior before.”

** SMG3 stops by, sees Garcy, and they hug.

** after the upgrades to SMG3, SMG4, Boopkins, and Meggy, along with the takeover from the castle, Gar, Niles, and Axol help, along with Steven and Glitchy Red.

** Niles and Garcy get pulled into the castle with SMG3, Meggy, and Mario.

** During the moments upstairs, after SMG3 laments about how he knows how SMG4′s feeling regarding SMG4′s thoughts, Niles is reminded of what happened in Revelations, wanting the perfect universe, bringing him to tears.

**Three and Meggy comfort him.

** Garcello remembers what happened with Lucks and Sheridan, even himself once, regarding his smoking before he died. He however says nothing.

** During the final encounter with SMG4 while he’s under Winston’s control (I think everyone’s calling the TV Adware creature Winston so I will too) SMG3, Niles, Mario, and Meggy say their pieces, Garcello however tells him he’s been in his position, knowing he has people that care about him, which is more important than any video.

** SMG4 still breaks through in the end.

**Meggy, Niles and Mario escape the castle, Garcello runs back with SMG3 after Four.

** Gar helps the two finish the video

** *the three escape and cling to the side, with Three reminding Four they’re (boy)friends, saving the two.

** Garcello climbs up himself, with Three and Fours help, getting hugged by everyone else.

** In between “It’s Gotta Be Perfect” and “My Roommate Mario” Garcello lets SMG4 stay with him for a week.

** During that week, SMG4 is apologetic for what he said while crazy on MAR10 Day, and keeps trying to make up for it throughout the week. This includes doing the chores all over the house, making dinner, and kinda overworking himself again.

** Garcello does intervene and just hugs him, explaining he knows what he went through again.

** their interaction during this: SMG4: Gar, I... I hurt you... why don’t you hate me? Garcello: .... Four... I know you weren’t in the right state of mind. SMG4: .... I wish I could take it back... *clings to him* you’re my friend... *tears up* .... I’m glad to have you in my life Garcy... I’m so sorry! *SMG4′s crying and clinging to him* Garcello: *holds him, let’s him cry*

**Garcello does forgive SMG4, by the two having a rap battle. Four accepts.

** Fun times all around.

** The guys all settle in to the Showgrounds.

((now onto other important matters))

** as of March, SMG1 and SMG2 are now engaged to be married

** the other engaged couples know 3 and 4 are next.

** Terrance and Eggdog seem to cuddle with SMG3 while he sleeps, which he doesn’t mind.

** SMG4 often gets called Jelly Bean by Ruby, mostly because he can be a bean at times.

** much like with SMG1 calling SMG2 Gumdrop thanks to Garcello, SMG3 starts calling SMG4 Jelly Bean, thanks to Ruby.

** SMG1 does get a pet name from Two, that being Bubble Gum (if you think about it, SMG1 kinda looks like a piece of blue bubble gum)

** Because of his “spicy” attitude, SMG4 calls Three “Cinnamon” to be cute. It always makes Three all flustered.

** SMG3 is best Tsundere, change my mind.

** As of the Easter story, Garcello has reunited with Masa

** While Meggy isn’t the best cook, she does watch cooking shows with Garcello from time to time, same for Desti

** Desti can’t cook either, sadly.

** Kaizo and Mario are both scared of Annie’s Liquid form

** Steven can control his “Inner Madness” aka S!3v3n, but if he’s provoked, or someone says something that’s considered, “Too far” Steven will lose control and black out.

** Mario learned this the hard way once, and is scared of S!3v3n

** Unfortunately, so is Niles (Yellow gave me the idea in her Ask the Gang series)

** BF and GF reunited with Garcello, a rematch was held.

** Mario has a tendency to T-pose when spaghetti’s mentioned.

** Bob and Birdo are dating, Swag’s married to Sonic, meanwhile Mario still gets no bitches.

As someone who does a lot of digital art as hobby/job (tattoo artist) it really all comes down to doing it regularly and consistently, also finding brushes that work for you are a huge plus. Personally I prefer the more textured ones that you can get really funky with

What also seems to help is giving the background an off white or neutral grey color, sketching on a screen is a lot more comfortable when you're not being blinded by the white background

also! If you're drawing on ipad specifically get a paperlike screen thingy! I HATE drawing on the glass directly so that really helped a lot,,

What software/ hardware are you using? Maybe I can give some specific tips as I've tried myself both on apps and desktop programs :>

I’m actually already doing a lot of your tips and I have definitely seen a difference from when I first tried out digital art. Btw I use my iPad, that has a paperlike foil, and procreate.

What I struggle with most is lineart bc no matter what I do as soon as I try to over line my sketches it just look meh, so I’ve started to just clean up my sketch and work with that one and it’s so much better (but also sometimes a bit frustrating bc why the f did I draw so many lines here????)

Colouring is also a struggle. Just all the layers and ways to do it????

I suppose if I had more time I could try and draw more regularly but currently I don’t have much free time (apprenticeship is slowly killing me but at the moment I also have all the exams I have to study for which ugh 😭)

Also what I’ve noticed and maybe it’s just my unknowing ass but when I post art it looks smudged, like it’s fine on my iPad but when I open it on my phone later is not as clear anymore (I export is as PNG and it’s set on DPI 300) so idk if you have any tips for that.

I have dnd at 9:30am and i have NOT told my parents (worse case i’ll walk there) yet i am. so tired. but my brain is zooming. i can not read very well. but my brain is ZOOMING.

i’ll go back to turtle posting pretty soon i think since last time i hyperfixated on orv i speedran the stages of hyperfixation and this time i’m even out of novel to read. i have reached my very own conclusion. my phone is lagging to hell when i type it’s taking my letters around a second to appear on the screen but i’m not exactly typing any slower so it backlogs and i can just sit there and watch the words be typed if i go fast enough lollll.

i’ve gotta draw raph in my au man. i gotta make him interesting bc i love him he is literally wonderful i just really suck at drawing him and leo bc rise is an artstyle that’s a total 180 from the stuff i’ve drawn previously. i continue to amass more art styles, soon no one will be safe. I just want to do them justice. they’re not the main character but they’re important and i feel bad for not fleshing them out well yet. i want to write them well and i want to write them with importance. i want every character i write to be with a purpose. to have potential for their own stories. i don’t want them to be hollow side characters, and the first step to achieving that is giving them designs i love. i love to look at and draw. i’ve achieved that with donnie and mikey and i’m starting to with leo but i’m so intimidated by raph because as important as he is as a character to the story i want to write he is by far the hardest for me to draw in the way that i think fits. in the way that i want. because i know what i want in his design and character, but i can’t quite get it right in the context of the artstyle i want to draw my au in. might have to bend some of the stylistic rules i set for myself to get him to work unfortunately.
