That summer, Atlas spent most weekends at the beach with Asher and his family. Feeling part of such a loving family unit has been more healing than he expected.

Asher’s niece, Spencer, has even started referring to him as “Uncle Asses” ...which immediately made her his favorite.

Atlas finally moved into a new apartment, which he loooooves! Unsurprisingly, he still spends most of his time in his room glued to his computer.

While he’s not sure if/when he’ll ever be ready to live with Asher, he did give him a giant key to his new place.

And they celebrated...

...a lot

As the summer came to a close, everyone gathered for Kiyoshi and Kaori’s wedding.

It was a beautiful outdoor event, that went flawlessly, of course... and I'm not at all considering Phoenix and Dawn either elope or never get married just so I don't have to deal with the stress of a wedding... 😅

But everyone had fun, and isn't that what really matters?

Dawn was so impressed by Phoenix's speech that she picked him up and spun him around the room.

And Kiyoshi's tea got stuck to his phone, but that didn't stop him from trying to check his e-mail... much to the annoyance of his new wife. 😒

As Sylvia was expecting again, Robert, Margaret and John took the trip out to visit her.

Sylvia introduced Connie to her family and especially Margaret, being a family oriented sim, Connie instantly felt at ease with Maggie.

The siblings sat outside and caught up with each other. Florence's absence on the trip worried the two brothers since she accompanied them on their last trip out to Chestnut Ridge.

Being a mother herself, she understood that raising a child was no easy feat and Florence was probably feeling overwhelmed especially being so far from family and friends.

"Speaking of family, I do miss you lot around here. I can't believe my two younger brothers are 18!", Sylvia exclaimed. "I know Mama and Papa are getting older now and they have the farm but Connie would love to see more of her uncles, especially this little one too" Sylvia was rubbing her bump.

Robert always felt like he could take on a ranch of his own, he liked the area of Chestnut Ridge.

"The people seem really nice too", John interrupted. He was specifically thinking of Elsi, the boy his met before. Over the years they exchanged letters to each other and hoped they would meet again. There was certainly strong feelings there.

In the evening, the three of them headed to the local bar and said their goodbyes. Sylvia of course stayed home to look after Connie, this also prompted Aurelio to stay home to help do chores around the ranch.

Decided to start a Black Widow Challenge after watching a stream, but, like, with a twist because I enjoy making things harder for myself than they need to be at the slightest opportunity.

So we got my sim here, her name is Mercedes, because we love irony in this house lol

Anyway, she's got a sibling, Aurelio, whom she's raising after the tragic and totally not suspicious death of their parents

And the plan here is that instead of doing the black widowing herself, once they age up she's gonna be setting up her sibling with rich people, manipulate things so they get married, and then kill the spouse and keep their stuff, rinse and repeat 10 times as usual. Basically, Crimson Peak but without the incest (cuz they patched that out and I have too many mods as it is) and the sibling may or may not actually know what's going on, I haven't decided yet.

MY THOUGHTS

Back again with another Interview with the Vampire machinima, and my second Voltaire song! (It only took 4 years, LOL!)

As I already did one for LDPDL, this one is dedicated to our favorite Swamp King!

Even though I use AMC's AU as my base, I took inspo from the IWTV book/film for Swamp!Lestat; as well as Bram Stoker's Dracula, since Dracula's version of vampires can turn into (were)wolves--a la the French/Haitian/NOLA loup-garou (X X).

And yes, I know I said I'd never add that racist wench Antoinette in my game, but I realized I could kill her over & over in my game if I did, so it's a win! XD (Especially since I could sneak in more Dracula references, with Antoinette as Lucy Westenra.)

WMM was giving me nothing but trouble this time around, but I hope y'all enjoy, and thanks for watching!

My Sim Summer Crimson, her traits are Paranoid, Cheerful, Incredibly Friendly.

She is Sunday's younger sister she started living with Milo and Sunday not long after she turned 17. Sunday was given the option to take custody of her when their Aunt Miracle (in which she was living with) passed away suddenly.

Their dad is a natural born spellcaster and Sunday inherited it from him but Summer did not, she was born human like their mom. As well as Sunnie, Summer doesn't have much of a relationship with their mom Vivian. Vivian gave custody to her sister Miracle when Summer was a 8 and Sunday was 12, she didn't feel she was capable of taking care of them anymore (she never was but realized that too late and the damage had already been done). Both siblings suffer from anxiety and PTSD due to their unfortunate childhoods (more on that later).Her birthday is July 7th 2005 making her 18, Sunday is older by 4years.

Summer was seeing Aurelio Robles (townie family from growing together) but she's now seeing Rahul Chopra (townie family from cottage living), Summer has now fallen in love with Rahul.

What names did you want to use for your OCs, but decided against and why?

Hey Anon, I can't really remember for most of my older sims. Florentia was always going to be Florentia. Alina was almost an Anastasia. But I'll do my next gen children. Specifically Florentia's children.

Aurelio could have been Gabriel, Niccolò, or a Maximilian like his great-grandfather.

Their daughter (I won't reveal her name yet), could have been a bunch of things. The more notable ones are Esmerelda, Giselle, Isadora, Melisande, Vivienne, and many more.

Their son could have been Giovanni, Jameson, or Leopoldo.

They are all very pretty names, but I'm happy with what I chose in the end. There story will start very soon, I just need to finish up some more posts!

The Sims: Timeline of the Mönkhbat Family (Pt. 4)

To provide context to the Monkhbats, they are a matriarchal clan consisting of nine members. Starting from...

NOELLE MÖNKHBAT, Mother & Progenitor of the Monkhbats

- An eccentric, perpetually cheerful Russian-Mongolian woman who moved to Britain and originally worked as a barista with the last name Simmons. She happens to be the first Sim I created.

- The idea to change her last name from Simmons to Mönkhbat came from my younger sister. She took one look at her and said that she looked Russian or Mongolian so I said "Why not both?". Mönkhbat means eternal firmness in Mongolian.

- During her youth, she was a goth with a hime haircut who worked as a maid at the same hotel Aurelio worked in, which was where they met and fell in love.

I was concerned that their relationship would not work out since they were opposites of each other, and they did break up once. But time would only draw them closer and they married while I was at the Hibalag Festival (Aug 26).

(Back when they broke up, she used to be with Valentina Edgewater but they ended in good terms.)

- Because of her role as the matriarch of the Mönkhbat family, it operates under different rules when it comes to passing down the last name. The women keep it and pass it down to their children while the men take on their wives last names when they marry. Quite the contrary for the real world.

- That might explain why certain eyes were on Anastasia when Nikita left. But we are not certain if she'll take over until the time comes.

AURELIO MÖNKHBAT (nee Walker), Pragmatic Homemaker & Renaissance Man

- The Greek husband of Noelle Mönkhbat and the second Sim I would create after her. He tirelessly serves as the rational right hand of his wife and as a loving father to his children.

- And by tireless I actually mean always tired; He works TWO jobs to support his ever-growing family. Not only that, he mainly takes the duty of cooking and handling the young ones whenever Noelle worked at the boutique.

- To unwind, he would play the guitar. He started it out to woo his wife but he really got into it and has rocked out ever since. His love for the craft was passed down to his children, Nathaniel and Natalia. But he would consult Alessio and Anastasia whenever he would come up with lyrics. (Which Noelle would also do except it's writing).

- He was particularly fond of his daughters more than his sons(w/ the exception of Alessio):

- Anastasia is basically the female version of him or his "mini-me", inheriting not only his looks but also his job(business mogul) and other aspirations like cooking(he's a chef, it's her hobby);

- and Nikita was his only daughter for the longest time so he was very protective. When she got engaged to Dionysus in such a short amount of time, Aurelio grew suspicious and antagonized Dionysus throughout the entire courtship. It was only when his granddaughter, Diana, was born did he warmed up to his awkward in-law.

- A random observation I have when it comes to Aurelio is that every time he goes to a party, someone usually wants to romance him. I was confused as to why until my twin remarked that he strongly resembles Prince Philip, the Queen's husband and it clicked. That was also what inspired me to make him Greek.

DR. NICCOLO MÖNKHBAT, Sole blue-eyed heir

- The eldest son and the sole child to inherit his mother's blue eyes. I was concerned that he inherited too much from Noelle until he grew up looking like his father's twin. Now I wish the others resembled her more.

- Niccolo's siblings teased him a lot for having a baby face despite being the oldest so he decided to sport an undercut and a 5 o'clock shadow in hopes to be taken seriously. Instead, everyone didn't recognize him at first and when they did they found him cursed. He didn't listen 'til his crush pointed it out, then he immediately changed.

- Out of all his siblings, Nikita was the closest to him since they are near each other's age. They bonded over music(not necessarily playing them) and when she married and moved away, he took comfort in the arms of his mother. Eventually Anastasia was born into the world and they became friends.

- When the hospital opened near the boutique, Noelle suggested Niccolo to become a doctor so he can work near her. Being a massive momma's boy, he enthusiastically took on the job. Throughout his career, his friend through it all is his pale, red-headed nurse Dayton.

- He eventually found out that Dayton is an alien and promised that his secret is safe with him. (Fun fact: Dayton was Anastasia's first crush. He was not interested in her so it broke her spirit, but it's for the best since he wasn't that good-looking as her)

- Since he's been single for so long, Noelle tried to set him up with any girl she found fit but it wouldn't work since their relationship didn't last very long. Concerned that he might be gay, I tried to set him up with guys, but Niccolo showed no interest in them.

- I had enough of his wishy-washy relationships so I did the last resort by arranging him with Vicky Harper, a long-standing family friend. They surprisingly hit it off and grew in love with each other. Safe to say we will be expecting a "Niccolo Harper" in the near future.

ATTY. NIKITA MÖNKHBAT, Beloved Countess of Chang & Esteemed daughter of the Mönkhbats

- The second child and eldest daughter of Noelle and Aurelio. When Nikita grew up, she became a lawyer and hard-working breadwinner of the Mönkhbat family; Eventually, she would serve as a life-altering catalyst to the Chang Earldom and serve as their true Countess.

- Nikita means "unconquerable or victor" in Greek and Russian. Mix that with Mönkhbat you get, "unconquerable eternal firmness".

- It was evident back then that she was very witty and intelligent, so she saw it as an opportunity to be a lawyer and raise the Mönkhbat family from their bouts of poverty into greater heights. With her hard-earned labor, she renovated the house to accommodate her ever-growing family.

- She and Niccolo served as second parents to their younger siblings when their parents are busy working. Nikita wouldn't be around for most of Anastasia's childhood and Natalia's entire life when she moved away and took on the responsibilities of a countess.

- The Chang's were a prominent, upper-class, noble family that the Mönkhbats knew due to their association with Daniela Dawkins back in the day. When the Earl threw a birthday party for his youngest daughter, the Mönkhbats were invited.

- At that same party, she caught the eye of the lovestruck Dionysus Kiramman (future 3rd Earl) and in a short period of time they were engaged. The Earl and his family were highly on board despite her lower economic status, but the Mönkhbats were shocked since it happened too fast.

- A couple days of engagement became years long of courtship, not of Nikita but of the Mönkhbat family. "No way is he taking our daughter away from us!"

- The first to warm up to the awkward, towering Dionysus was Noelle since she understood that he was not used to having feelings for anyone, but the longest was Aurelio, who took until his first grandchild to completely warm up to him.

- Aurelio was weary of him because the first and previous relationship Nikita had left without explanation. He antagonized Dionysus for so long that it was kinda comical. What he wanted for her instead was Damian, Dionysus' older half-brother who plays guitar and serves as his physical therapist every week.

- Despite the initial distrust the Mönkhbats had for him, Dionysus and Nikita eventually wed. It pleased the First Earl greatly since he favored Nikita far more than his own son. He shortly retired after their first child, having his last wish fulfilled.

- When Nikita moved to the Chang household, she took on her rightful throne as the Countess of Chang. She was the first true consort the earldom had since Second Earl never married/have kids, and First Earl Victor had a messy divorce and a remarriage that complicated the bloodline.

- Throughout the courtship and marriage of the couple, I told my twin that the only way I'll allow her to have Nikita is if she makes the earldom a suitable home for her[Nikita] to live in. That process took the entire reign of Damian, the Second Earl, who sacrificed and dedicated his waking days renovating the estate and settling deep-seated trauma within the family.

- Nikita and Dionysus have four children, from oldest to youngest being: Diana, Artemis, Dmitri, and Alexandros(named after her adoptive brother)

- Despite their Chinese heritage, Nikita's children strongly inherited her Mönkhbatian genes that all have her black hair, green eyes(except Diana), and eastern European features. The current heir, Dmitri, is a spitting image of the progenitor.

ALEXANDER MÖNKHBAT, Adopted son of the Monkhbats

- The third child of Noelle and Aurelio through adoption. His hair used to be blonde before he retired, fulfilling their wish to have a blond, blue-eyed child in a way.

- Back in his teens, Alexander would always suggest lyrics to Aurelio's songs. His father saw his potential and suggested that he become a DJ, and so he did.

- He fared pretty well in the music industry and leveled up quickly. Then while at work, he would catch feelings for his co-workers and realize that he's gay.

- All the men he's been with are bartenders in his club. I forgot their names but the first fling he got was a platinum blond and the last was a brunet who shared more mutual feelings with him. They were all "More than Friends with Benefits".

- He would be the first to retire in his family (even his adoptive parents!). I predict that he will pass on once either the 2nd floor is installed or the first grandchild in the household is born.

NATHANIEL MÖNKHBAT, Dark horse

- After Alexander, Nathaniel was born. Since Niccolo and Nikita were already adults at his birth, they doted on him and acted as his parents whenever Noelle and Aurelio were busy. He would end up being the closest to Alexander because they could relate to being middle children (or kinda overlooked).

- His parents noticed their mistake and placed more effort to spend time with them equally. So they were there whenever he needed help with his projects or school assignments.

- He would fade into the limelight until he grew up. By that time the "Stylist Career" quest came back and he took on the job and toiled day and night to finish it. After finishing the quest, he decided to treat his mother to a makeover and that is why she looks that way currently.

- What he shares with Anastasia is their love for archeology. If their not doing their hobby and career, they would be dusting tokens and golden bunnies.

- In the usual Mönkhbatian fashion, he thought of getting married and having kids. A lady named Luce Garnier took a liking to him and so they decided to date, but he caught feelings on Myla Winters and broke up with her. I was frustrated and swore that I wouldn't let him marry or have kids but given how Luce turned out to be, I realized I got him all wrong and didn't go through it.

- Even though he loved Myla, she would move somewhere else and thus they were never to meet again.

ATTY. ALESSIO MÖNKHBAT, Alluring Face of the Mönkhbat Bloodline

- I was feeling disappointed of Mönkhbat's roster of sons since they didn't possess the strong quality the daughters have until Alessio was born.

- He is the fifth child of Noelle and Aurelio, and the face of the Mönkhbat line because if there was someone to represent the Average Mönkhbatian, it would be him. If Niccolo has his mother's blue eyes, Alessio has her soft eye shape.

- When Nikita left the household, he was still an unemployed bloke until his father suggested that he be a lawyer given his charm. He agreed and his job suited him like a fish in the water.

- Despite their massive age gap, he is the closest to Anastasia. He would spoil her with new clothes whenever he got his paycheck and help her with her homework.

ANASTASIA MÖNKHBAT, Enigmatic Crown Jewel

- The sixth child of Noelle and Aurelio. Her name means "Resurrection" in Greek and Russian. If we were to follow the strict matriarchy rule, then she will be the heir apparent to the Mönkhbats.

- When she was born, Alessio and Niccolo took care of her like she was their daughter and raised her to the woman she is today. Just like Alessio, she naturally had wavy/curly hair so he would style her hair up in braids and spoil her with nicer clothes.

- Like a caterpillar that turned into a butterfly, she became an exceptionally beautiful woman that even if I was stingy with my SimCash/Simoleons, I would always buy her clothes since she looked good on everything.

- I wanted her to be a model but since it is not available, she took her father's footsteps as a Business mogul and proved to be more competent than him in the industry. If she wasn't working in the office, she would perfect her craft in cooking.

- Despite her intimidating appearance, she can be surprisingly awkward. She would barely interact with anyone at parties and if she wasn't digging archeological sites around town, she would coop herself at home.

- Untypical of a Mönkhbat, she didn't really think about romance much. Instead, she kept daydreaming about food so cooking became her hobby. That lifted a huge burden off Aurelio's shoulders now that someone else can cook for once.

- The first time romance came to her mind was when she had a crush on Niccolo's co-worker. Dayton paid her no mind since she was way younger than him. Currently she is dating Vikram Aurora but only time will tell if they exchange vows.

NATALIA MÖNKHBAT, Draco Domina & Bespectacled Baddie

- The seventh child and youngest of Noelle and Aurelio. She surprised me the most because she was everything I didn't expect her to be.

- First, her name. I accidentally named her Madisyn by opening another tab when she was born. I planned to name her Antoinette once I could rename her but when she became an adult, it didn't fit her at all so I changed it to Natalia. It's an homage to Noelle, who was once renamed to Natalia (until I changed it back).

- Second, her glasses. The only ones who have this trait is Aurelio and her older brother Niccolo, who she was last talking with before she became an adult. I joke that she hung around him too much.

- Third, her cheeks. It looked so swollen like a chipmunk hoarding nuts that I decided to look into it. Turns out her cheek volume was at it's highest so I reduced it to zero.

- Fourth, her baddie-ness. She used to be so sweet-natured as a child but after experimenting with her style, she came out a total baddie. Her look took me back to when Noelle used to be a goth; Unlike her, Natalia takes it to another level.

- Also fifth, I didn't expect her to be so busty!?! I know Noelle's blessed but her daughters ain't. But boom! Natalia hips-don't-lie her way to the limelight, rocking her shredded abs and snatched waist.

- Sixth, her lesbianism. I should have suspected that she was queer ever since she became a DJ like her adoptive bro but she decided to show that earlier when she had a crush at the worst of times.

- Luce Garnier was the fiance of her brother Alessio when she caught feelings for Natalia. It could've been simple to break off the engagement but no, baddie girl had to reciprocate!

- Anastasia had enough of Luce, took matters in her own hands, and antagonized her every time she was around. That didn't help the situation since Luce caught feelings for her as well (much to Anastasia's aggravation).

- Eventually I believe that Luce's roommate, who might actually be her husband, found out. She was never seen again so that is a relief!

- Her story hasn't started yet so there is more I can say about her later on.

Getting to Work (Super Sim Update)

I've had limited time to play The Sims over the last two weekends (I don't have any time on weekdays), so there's quite a bit to recap.

I put Stella in the Doctor career, starting at level 8 thanks to her Distinguished Biology degree. She's already ready to get promoted... as soon as she delivers someone's baby. (A pregnant Sim came into the hospital for regular illness; I tried cheating her to pregnancy phase to "in labor," but that didn't do anything except make her extremely uncomfortable. (Don't worry, I cheated it back to third trimester where it was.) I had to try!)

I went into Cousin India's household to get the twins back and to see who her baby daddy is -- turns out it's Aurelio Robles, which is interesting considering he's assumed to be ace, right? I figured, OK, they had a science baby as besties... but when I looked at India's relationship panel, they have a full romance bar too. *shrug* At any rate, I got them engaged and Aurelio moved in with India and the baby (whose name I'm blanking on at the moment Sandy. Her name is Sandy Shelton. Aurelio also had his own kid, no co-parent in family tree, so he's living with them, too. No, I don't know his name, nor do I really care.) So now they're their own happy little family.

Like I said, I brought the twins back to my household. Mostly so I could guarantee that Cade would win Prom Royalty, which he did... twice. (I was trying to get his girlfriend, Luna, crowned the second time, and Jester for him. Sigh.)

And yes, both times that Cade was Royalty, Orange Bailey-Moon was Prom Jester. Rigged!

Speaking of Orange, he's now dating Kinsley. "My best friend and my sister? My best friend and my sister!"

Tate also has a girlfriend - Noemi Caliente. Take a wild guess who her parents are:

(She straight up has Don Lothario's face and Nina's haircolor. Don's dead in this save already, btw - Neighborhood Stories took him out, but I don't remember how by killer chicken, which he almost definitely deserved. His ghost still calls Stella sometimes.)

Cade, of course, is still with Luna Villareal. She should be aging up in a couple days, and Orange should definitely be aging up the next time I play. Honestly, I was surprised they were both still teens for the last prom; I thought they would both be Young Adults by then, which would have created all kinds of weirdness for their relationships.

I'm hoping Cade will age up the next time I play, so I can get him moved out, married, and making the babies necessary to finish Stella's family Aspirations. I'm a little bit over teen gameplay now... just want to get everyone aged up and moved out as quickly as possible!

Speaking of Stella's aspirations, I did choose one of the Wellness aspirations to start working on... but I'm not really making any real effort right now. Like I said in my last post, those Aspirations are pretty much the whole gameplay of Spa Day, and it doesn't feel right to work on them when I haven't "progressed" that far yet.
