Write something about Marceline meeting up with Simon after the finale?
"You know I love you, right?" Marceline flat out asks him, because this girl has never gone around or over anything that she could plunge straight through. Simon always admired that about her even when this trait of hers caused him a fair few heart attacks.
Simon adjusts his glasses, clearing his suddenly dry throat. "Yes, I am aware."
They're at his house, with boxes of his things piled up around him. Bonnie, Finn, and Marcy all came over to help Simon move out of his old house into a new, more private arrangement. But Finn and Bonnie cleared out some time ago, when Marcy sat him down with a mug of his favorite tea. It was an ambush in everything bit name.
Simon supposes that he deserves it. He hasn't exactly... made time to speak with Marceline and happily allowed her to divert her focus away from him. Someone snitched on him, clearly.
"Hmmm..." Marcy squints at him, absently spinning the mug in front of her. The now dull grey drink sloshes lazily within. "When... When you had your big revelation about Betty, that musta messed you up pretty bad."
Simon stares at the woman that was essentially his daughter. Even as a little girl, she had always been prodigiously insightful and observant.
"This... This was different. Betty was my partner. I was supposed to check in with her, make sure we were on the same page. You, on the other hand-"
"Are you about to explain my feelings to me, Simon?" Marcy cuts in. "Or make an assumption about me based entirely on your perception of me?"
Oooh. Even if she didn't have fangs, Marceline could cut with the sharp edge of her tongue. A conflicting sense of pride and shame tightens his chest. He looks down at his mug of tea, taking a very long drink.
Marceline sighs. "I'm not five years old. I'm fully capable of making decisions - healthy decisions even."
"I know that!" Simon snaps back, thumping a fist on the table. "It's precisely because you're all grown up that I didn't want to say anything. Look at you, you're so happy! You don't need to bother with a sad old man like me."
Marceline gently grabs hold of his fist. "If you did tell me, what was the worst case scenario?"
"It doesn't matter, I'm doing better now. I'm going through therapy. I'm fine -"
"Please answer the question."
Simon stays stubbornly silent for a few second. Marceline squeezes his hand until her grip begins to hurt. He shoots her a petulant glare and she offers an innocent smile.
"I could make you sad. There. I said it."
"Well... I've been sad before. I got better."
Simon stares at this woman who he used to carry with only one arm. She's near his height, possibly taller. If he tried to carry her, she'd float to spare his ego. She grew up and he was there but not really and it's just another one of the Crown's costs.
"Simon." Marceline is hovering over the table now. "I lost you for a second there. What's that big brain of yours overly complicating now?"
Simon frowns at her. "I have no idea what you mean."
"Uhuh, listen. My partner is a certified genius, so I know for a fact that you geniuses tend to lack a lotta common sense."
"Have you told Bonnie this?"
"Verbatim. But this isn't about her, or me. This is about you."
Simon grits his teeth. "It's been 'about me' for long enough, hasn't it?" He shoves away from the table, gets onto his feet, and picks a random box to start piling stuff in. This will absolutely ruin Bonnie's meticulous organization, but that's just...
He sighs, steps back, looks at the label on the box before picking up Bonnie's abandoned clipboard to figure out the correct items for the box. In that whole time, Marceline doesn't speak. But he can feel her eyes on him like the sun through a magnifying glass. He sorts his stuff. She lets him.
Simon takes a deep breath. "I thought... It's bad enough that you spent all those thousand years watching over me. Then it turns out that even before I had the Crown, Betty was doing all of that. I just... I'm so useless."
"You're not-"
"Yes, yes, yes. But I... I need some time to work on myself, you know? I'm tired of being so..."
A hand settles on Simon's shoulders. He turns and jolts as he sees Marceline with a thin film of tears over her eyes. He immediately reaches over, pressing his palms against her face, thumbing the space beneath her eyes.
"Oh see, now I've made you cry."
Marceline shrugs. "It won't kill me."
"But that's the thing! You don't have to-"
"It's not that!" Marceline pulls away from him. "I don't have to do anything, you're right! But I want to stay with you!"
She blows out a short, ragged breath, running a hand through her hair. Simon slowly lowers his hands, crossing his arms and hunching over as if to protect his soft underbelly.
"I'd be rotten company."
Marceline fiercely shakes her head. "Not to me. Not if it's you."
Simon bites his lip. There's a tightness in his chest as if his heart was bloated from too much blood. He can't look away from her and yet he can't stand to stay seen.
"You don't want my help, fine. You've got professionals looking after you. And that's great. But please don't shut me out. I can't. Not again."
Marceline looks away for him. And this looks familiar even a thousand years later. The way she holds her head high, the way she clenches her jaw, the way she stubbornly refuses to acknowledge the tears trailing down her face - it's all the same.
Simon wraps both arms around her. She struggles for a second, trying to squirm away before she gives up, leaning into his hold.
"Okay," he murmurs into her shoulder.
"Okay?"
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
Marceline coughs out a tiny giggle. "Are we just gonna keep saying okay to each other until the world ends or what?"
Simon readies a joke but swallows it at the last second. He lets her question hang in the air until it becomes heavy and leaden. She stiffens up, limbs locking and spine straightening.
"I think... I can do that."
"Yeah?" Marceline's voice is sooo small, half disbelief, half hope, and all pure, raw heart.
"Until the world ends... You and me. We're survivors. Remember?"
Marceline laughs, a frail, watery sound from the hollow of her throat. "Yeah. I remember."

Calcinidae Bay Lot Tour: Marine Discovery Centre
Tumblr media
I finally got around to picking the terrains I wanted to use for Calcinidae Bay's subhoods, so the Bay now officially has a(n as-of-yet unnamed) Downtown! Yay! Let's take a look through the only currently-finished lot there, the Marine Discovery Centre and Aquarium.
First I wanna shout out @dirtfauna for suggesting I build an aquarium and getting me thinking about this in the first place! As I was putting on the finishing touches I was also inspired by seeing @lolabythebaysims's gorgeous lot influenced by the Belle Isle Aquarium.
Before I get into the lot, I need to show the original Sims 4 shell for reference. It's "what the.. shell?" uploaded to the Gallery by simbellaz, and as you'll see, it was both perfect for and wildly impractical as the basis for an aquarium.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't normally go for shell challenges that have so many internal walls, but all those little 1-tile-wide hallways were practically SCREAMING to be made into fish tanks! The external "walls" you see added to my TS2 shell are all either actually half-walls, fences, or just windows placed with moveobjects, all of which are allowed within a standard shell challenge. It may seem like a cop-out, but it's more limiting/challenging than you'd think.
But enough preamble. Let's take a look inside!
Tumblr media
The entrance is also a small gift shop. It seems like every aquarium I've ever been to has also sold jewellery. Don't ask me about my tiny penguin earrings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I really wanted a "fish tank tunnel" vibe, and the effect was... almost perfect, lol. Close enough for a shell challenge IMO. I so so badly wanted to break my CC-free rule to place some fish shaders, but I'm glad I stuck to my guns because I think the solution I came up with looks goofy but effective. (Plus you wouldn't see them in build/buy anyway.)
Ooohhhh jellyfish tank ooohhhhhh they're so lifelike and graceful
Tumblr media
I have my fun.
Tumblr media
That little "airlock" room is a fun pirate-y undersea exhibit that connects to the outside and is probably where school field trips would loop around rather than heading upstairs.
Tumblr media
Through the pirate's cabin is a touch pool and tactile play room where kids can inspect rubber anatomical fish models. I like to imagine the TV plays a short looping movie featuring a B-grade celebrity talking to a cartoon bass about the water cycle, fish spawn, and pollution.
Tumblr media
The outdoor area is where the field trip groups would probably eat their packed lunches, fill out activity sheets, and take a commemorative photo with the world's worst greenscreen that's supposed to make it look like you're underwater but just ends up eating half your hair and shirt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you're not a student and you're just here for the love of fish, you'd probably head upstairs to get a closer look at the fish tunnel, smaller specialty tanks, and the squid/octopus models. (This room is technically considered outdoors thanks to the shell so tbh I'm not sure how lighting/temperature would behave during gameplay.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The third floor has more tanks, some hands-on displays about aquatic plants and marine ecology, and finally a room with the actual floor-to-ceiling aquarium objects.
Tumblr media
I thought this would be an interesting lot to run as an owned business, so I included a small employee area tucked behind the guest toilet block on the ground floor. It also helped to naturalistically answer "how would Sims feed themselves if their outing wouldn't stop complaining they were hungry," a concern I keep in mind whenever I make a lot I think would be a nice place to take a date.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here's the floorplan! This lot had a pretty severe ugly stage but I'm really really happy with what we ended up with and the vibe I achieved without any CC. Hope you enjoyed reading this far and that it could give you some decorating inspiration!

This is a Complete Overhaul of the Specialty Lot Bin.
Every property (17 apartments and 2 hotels) has been edited, fixed, improved, cleaned, and now comes with a custom thumbnail. Many of the lots have been shrunk, and three of them have 2-Step foundations.
After installing these files, the next time you open your Specialty Lot Bin, it should look a lot better, and the apartments should be easier to use. Your sims will be able to move-in and start living - without having to worry about missing fire alarms, telephones, and nasty sim references.
I really did try to keep EA/Maxis' original intent/"flavor" for these lot bin apartments and hotels... But, I ended up changing many of the floor plans. I added a few extra bedrooms and bathrooms, added playground equipment and pools, etc. I changed up floor-coverings too, so you can more easily distinguish one apartment from another when looking at them from 'the watchers' viewpoint.
Each lot now has a custom thumbnail that clearly lists the following pertinent information: How many Units/Rooms, class value, and which ProgFileLot# that particular property is. (In case you want to search and destroy!) Apartments have a blue banner across the top, Hotels lots have a red banner.
NOW available on Simblr!

Fuck it, I did Persona 5 Boy, might as well do the blue one.
P3 x Genshin.
Tumblr media
(I stole the top right quote from spoilers I heard from a book lol)
If I was going to do him being Inazuman I would've called him Makoto, but I chose Minato for the same reason I chose Akira: I like it better.
Under the cut, of course :|
T/CW: Canon-typical death of minors
Tumblr media
Line: Joining a team.
"I'll make sure you make it to your destination safely."
Just to get this out of the way: I was going to have him be from Snezhnaya because I think the Cryo nation suits him for some reason, however I realized both he and Arlecchino had relations with the moon so...
He's Arlecchino's older brother, they're twins, not because of the Genshin weird twin theories, but because of the Persona dead twin theory, of how in Portable the Fe/MC is the twin that survives the car crash.
About: Hobbies.
"I quite like playing the piano... Huh? You want me to play for you sometime? I'll think on it."
Minato has a Hydro Vision, which if theories are correct represents having a strong desire to protect that which is important to them. If you beat Persona 3 in any form, or watch the movies, you would understand why he has this type of Vision.
About: Vision.
"It's useful when traversing the desert, and Hydro is an element that has the greatest capacity to heal. If only it could heal internal turmoil."
Minato's weapon of choice is unique in that the player can give him any weapon. In universe and out of universe, this is because he has experience welding many types of weaponry, however his Specialty Weapon (or whatever it's called) is a sword.
This is mainly a reference to in the original P3 he could use any weapon type except for Guns, which is because they were hand guns- literally. In later renditions, he could only use a sword, though.
Side note: his Sword, Lucifer's Blade, heals damage equal to 30% of dealt damage per hit.
About: Flexibility.
"Why can I use any weapon type? I trained to do so a long time ago, flexibility is key in combat, like how you can use multiple elements."
His basic skill is a shield that casts an AoE water attack on surrounding areas. Additionally, he, much like Joker, can use randomly chosen items to induce reactions. This is a blatant reference to the items in the Persona series that the characters can use to do elemental attacks without SP.
However, unlike Akira, he cannot use matches since they're ruined by water, and he doesn't need to use bottled water to induce water. Minato uses a folding fan to induce swirl.
About: Elements.
"I think adding elements to my attacks despite not having an Anemo Vision is quite important, especially if I run into someone with a Hydro immunity and I'm using a Catalyst."
His burst is an all party heal, much like Jean's, except that it negates elemental reactions on the party for 10 seconds. If he's at C5, it adds another 5 seconds and a defense buff.
He's very defense and healing oriented, which makes sense considering P3's final act.
About: Protection.
"I don't need to be protected, but I'd rather not see anyone I know die. Again."
Minato is a five star, naturally. His splash art is him holding a catalyst and spear, a crescent moon of hydro behind him as he looks to be reading his catalyst.
His banner, if this is in the same universe, always takes place 2 before Joker's. If not, it coincides usually with Fatui characters, despite not being a member of the Fatui.
About: The Fatui.
"I don't care."
He first shows up during the Liyue Archon Quest, as a researcher from the Akademiya. He seems to have known that Zhongli was Rex Lapis from the first meeting they had, although the how is unknown.
He then appears during the Inazuma Archon Quest, but only in the background. If the player talks to him and asks how he got to Inazuma he'll say: "I walked."
He reappears later in Sumeru, studying in the Akademiya, then in Fontaine, in the prison for an unknown reason (he got lost).
About: The House of the Hearth.
"It was quite cold when I was younger, but I hope Arlecchino made it a warmer place. Recently, I got an invitation from her to return. Something about a reward for one of the well performing children."
He lacks a Story Quest centered around himself.
About: Arlecchino.
"My sister is... An interesting woman. But I don't think you need me to tell you that."
His Friendship Rank affects his burst, much like how Akira's does. It raises the HP healed when casting his burst, adding an additional 1.5% per each rank.
About: Happy Birthday.
"Oh, it's your birthday? If there's anything you'd like, anything at all, you need only ask, I may get it for you. If I knew it was your birthday, I would have already gotten you something. Apologies."
Extras.
About: You.
"My thoughts on you? You're strong. And... Nice. To be truthful, I lack a sense of justice most people believe I have. I just want those I care for to live, however you'll help anyone who asks. You're none too shabby."
If you put this and the Joker AU together.
About: Akira.
"I think I fought him often, a long time ago. He was a strong opponent, but I won most of our battles, but I was there to train him... There was another guy, I wonder what happened to him?"
About: Tartaglia.
"Huh? Who's that?"
About: Furina.
"She's quite beautiful, truly. However, I can only feel sorry for what she's gone through. I think she should take a nap."
Leaving the team.
"Ahh, I'm going to go take a nap, then."
Tumblr media
Thanks for reading this travesty, later 🐊

My friend and I were discussing TGCF's elemental masters (and how odd the existing ones are. Why water, rain and thunder? Wind and earth are fine) So I created two of them: the Fire Master, and the Metal Master (I have a basic concept for a Wood Master too, but she needs more development)
Fire Master is a chef. He can be a bit hot-headed and has absolutely thrown some people out of his Palace for intruding while he's cooking (yes the gods don't need to eat, but they do eat at banquets and some eat more regularly. While many have in-house servants for this, they can also eat Fire Master's food! Any non-deputy servants typically learn cooking skills in his Palace). He considers anyone who likes good food, drink and has a good appetite to be his friend. He is often kept abreast of any events involving food and he will happily tell all during dinner. He used to be a common dinner companion for SQX and "MY" as he was an excellent source of information (and food) he always liked "MY" and would often send food to his Palace but due to how reclusive "MY" is, it's very hard to call them friends. One thing HX approved of was him outright talking about how he didn't like SWD and saw him as a "big problem". That said, I could see HX missing him after he gets his revenge (I'm choosing to believe that, given some time to understand wtf happened, they could become actually friends. Yes, he would deliver to Nether Water Manor eventually)
Oh, also he has a history with XL. People would pray to him pretty much wherever XL cooked so he'd pretty regularly go "subdue a cooking demon" and he had no idea who he was. If HC had only paid attention to HX when he told him "Fire Master went to battle the cooking demon again" he'd have found XL centuries ago. (He just joked that HX really liked FM) (since HC would hate him if he knew he regularly fought XL and referred to him as a demon, I think it's important to know that his temples are fireproof lmao)
I don't know what kind of spiritual item he has, I think bellows or maybe a fan (I know we already have two, though I originally imagined it as a round fan, similar to the Japanese Uchiwa fan as it has been used to fan flames and with cooking, but I couldn't find any evidence that the Chinese used them similarly? Also round fans are seen as feminine)
Metal Master
Metal Master is more simple. He's a smith, who mostly makes spiritual weapons. He doesn't understand spiritual items with no metal in them lmao, Ruoye especially confused him ("but it's just a cloth...? Where's the metal?"). He mostly keeps to himself in his forge making whatever he wants (several of his strange swords were added to JW's collection. He reclaimed them after JW's fall. There are probably tons in HC's collection too) but he's worshipped by many artisans. However he doesn't like competition and most of his deputy officials are NOT smiths! They are different types of artisans who go and deal with prayers related to their respective specialties. He has a handful of former deputies who have ascended on their own right because of this. He loves a challenge.
Despite his reputation in the heavens, MM is a bit interested in HC. More accurately, he's interested in E'Ming! His dream would be to get a hold of it just so he could try to figure out how it was forged.
While MM avoided XL in order to prevent getting infected with bad luck, he's actually pretty fond of him once they meet. And he crafts delicate silver butterfly pins for him and HC once they get married (he's a himbo but he's not a fool. He knows HC is unlikely to pick a fight with him if he's nice to XL and supports their marriage)
MM is also a very strong god despite not being a martial god. Several martial gods try to "poach" him but he refuses. He just wants to smith! Leave him alone!!

Blooming Friendships Ch6 The Man In The Moon
Tumblr media
It was a quiet night. Except for the chirping of crickets. A gentle breeze swept through the cool air, and stars shone. Even though it was a peaceful night, not everyone was sleeping peacefully. Two eyes were wide awake enjoying the beautiful wonders of nature and all it had to provide to the silent melody of it's mistress the night and all her dark beauty as the world slumbered in her wake. On a normal day it would look so much different. Sunny. Birds singing. The world was filled with the happy screaming of children as they played and couples walked too and from down the paths or having picnics in the sunshine......Or it would have been if this forest wasn't haunted by vengeful ghosts and cursed on top of it. Not that she minded. She loved this forest how it was. If she wasn't living in her own magical hot spot this might've been a good place to live without unwanted attention. Her footsteps only adding to the magical melody taking place from her as they walked along the trees glimmer with dew from that morning fog.. The reflections shining like the stars themselves mirroring walking in some forbidden heaven of the night for them both. The wind blown around her and she shivered rubbing her body against a tree to keep up body heat to not catch a cold. Hopefully it'll work. The light reflected off of her eyes making it seem like they shined brighter than the world around them as she walked about looking past things. The glowing mushrooms and moon above being her only source of light in the darkness as she carried about her. Over her shoulder a bag of magical things like stones, herbs, plants, and other natural magical specialties one could only find right here in this forest. Luckily for her there was plenty to go around.
Subcon Forest was not a place for just anyone to enter and exit as they please. There was a reason these woods had such a feared reputation and was rumored to be haunted. Because it was. By the King Snatcher of Subcon(as he liked to refer to himself) and his ghastly assortment of minions and dwellers behind him as his undead army, anyone who went in NEVER came out which added to the entire terror of it all!!...Well no one except a woman who were currently carrying baskets full of all kinds of cursed plants from within the borders of the ghastly forest that no mere mortal ever dared to come in. ..Besides a select few who had the Ghost King's blessing or who just didn't fear him of course.
"Thank you so much for helping me collect all these ingredients. I swear some times they can be so hard to find. Good thing you know you're way around here huh?," the witch expressed with gratitude as copper eyes smiled over towards the ghost next to her.
Shackles clanked as ever as the crescent headed ghost smiled and placed a hand on his chest. "But of course. I couldn't just let a young lady wonder all by her lonesome here in the dark forest. Snatcher may not see the reason but I refuse to let the one lady who actually keeps me company to be at risk of any danger!"
That earned him a stream of chuckles and a smirk from the witch as she reached out to poke his side. "Oh? What a gentleman.~ Not a lot of woman can say that a ghostly prince walked with them on a moonlit night walk to protect her. If I didn't know better I'd say this was romantic, Moony.~"
The ghost paused letting the words of hers sink in before coughing and looking the other way. "A-Absolutely not! It's o-only right a gentleman escort a lady where she n-needs to go-"
"Relax you old man. I was only teasing you. I really appreciate you helping me find all these herbs. I get lost here so many times it's not funny. Always have to teleport my way out."
"....*ahem* W-Well of course. I'm always happy to lend a helping hand where I can. It's also good to have company for once who I can speak to so easily unlike Snatcher and some other people I know who shall not be named."
She nodded as they continued to walk through the woods. Coming across a small space of abandoned buildings old, worn, and looking like they'd collapse any moment if they even to dare touch them.
"Isn't it getting near morning though? We've been at this for a long time. You might disappear on me into the atmosphere." They passed by a couple of the buildings now. Their voices echoing around the dark buildings and disturbing someone awake in one building.
"Yes. It is. But I would rather stay until I'm forced to leave. I like accompanying you around, and we're nearly to the forest's edge as it is. I'd feel better knowing I can leave you at a safe point-"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH-"
As a scream pierced the air both jumped at the sound that sliced through the night's fog like a knife. The scream echoing around, sounding young. Vulnerable. Small. And like a-....The sound still ringing loud and clear as they both stood frozen in their places as it continued. Until they eventually looked at one another as the noise continued.
"I say. D-Do you hear that?"
Hazelle nodded. "I most certainly do." With a turn of her head, she looked towards one building in particular and pointed. "It sounds like it's coming from there." And she started walking towards it.
"H-Hazelle!," Moonjumper warned holding out an arm towards her disappearing form. "Wait! It's not safe in these old ruins! That house collapse on you!"
"Then be my protector and follow me!," she called back not stopping and still walking away from him towards the crying noise. "Sounds like someone's lost. We should help them don't you think?"
Moonjumper said nothing as he watched her before sighing and floated off after her. His shackles clanking as he did. Hazelle was able to disappear from sight before him. Walking into one of the abandoned buildings through a whole in the wall's side most likely from decay from all the years it stood abandoned. And slowly he followed her into it. Inside ..had seen better days to put it lightly. The wooden floors and walls were a dark grey or black from years of decay and being exposed to Subcon's cursed magic. The whole place creaking from the wind blowing, speaking of the wind. It definitely flowed through the entire home making an eerily howling noise as it did. Old furniture broken beyond repair and also decaying by how they looked. He slowly floated out of the big room he went through which he must've guessed must've been a living room judging from the decayed shelves and crumbling fireplace. The fireplace a mere pile of crumbling stones by now. The noise that was present when Hazelle entered no longer having stopped soon when he floated in.
"Hazelle?," he called out looking around the place shackles clanking. "Where did you go, My lady?"
"In here!,'' her voiced called out a few rooms away, "You might wanna come here and see this. You're not going to believe it."
She does know she was speaking to a ghost right? He followed her voice past the room to a hallway of sorts where he passed a decaying and absolutely destroyed flight of stairs. Well she can't be up there unless she teleported her way there. Instead he moved past that towards the nearest doorway where he heard the faint sound of-...Sniffling?? Raising a brow, Moonjumper floated right over to the doorway and looked inside. Hazelle was there alright. The witch's back was to him, and the bag of plants and other things she had been carrying left on the floor. With the way her arms were positioned it looked like she might've been holding something in her arms. Hearing the sounds of clanking shackles the witch turned her head to him and smiled seeing him standing there in the doorway. Before turning around completely with that looked like a blanket bundle cradled in her arms.
"Oh there you are. ...Uh. What is that you're holding?"
"You're not going to believe this."
She beckoned him to come closer with a free hand and as he slowly came in the same sniffling sounds came from inside the blanket. And did that thing just move!? He froze as Hazelle grabbed the edge of the small blanket and pulled it back. And what was inside SHOOK  the ghost. A-A-...A baby....THERE WAS A PECKING LIVING BREATHING BABY IN THAT BLANKET!! But strangely that wasn't the weirdest part. The pale skinned boy sniffled and blinked up at the both of them with big purple eyes and dark black hair. At seeing the witch and ghost looking down at him, his head tilted curiously back at them. But that wasn't what was strange. What WAS strange was the fact that his face..Was COVERED in glowing blue markings that lit up his body in the dark. There was a couple of them. Glowing blue lines. One over his nose, two lines under each of his eyes, two jutting up from his chin, and a peculiar swirl like symbol on his forehead. And all were glowing. Even now he could feel the magical aura filing out from this child in the same way Hazelle's magical essence did. Which meant that whoever this child was...He was certainly special. Moonjumper stared long and hard at the child who now seemed calm being in the arms of Hazelle. Before he pointed to him.
"What....is that?"
"A baby. What ELSE would it be?"
"Y-Yes. I know. But WHY is there a baby here?" He looked around the dark and grim looking room. "And in such a sorry state of a house of all places?''
Hazelle shrugged. "I haven't the foggiest idea. You think someone lives here?"
In response to her question Moonjumper gave a careful look around the room. There was ...well nothing here except one or two pieces of old broken furniture. "...Where did you find the baby?" She stepped aside and pointed her free hand down to the absolutely empty corner behind her. THAT empty cold corner in just a blanket? That couldn't be healthy for it. In fact..it doesn't look like anyone's been here for a long time."This house is pretty worn out. Seems like people were living here before Snatcher came in. Or maybe they were still alive when Snatcher arrived and ...you know. He's crazy like that. But no one could possibly be living here. There's no signs of food. No water. Not even a small shelter set up." He looked back down to the baby who nommed on a chubby hand. "And he certainly isn't as old as the rest of the house! Who would leave a defenseless child here!? Unless......" A look of realization struck him as he frowned. "Unless someone left him here on purpose."
....Hazelle shook her head. "I don't know. But maybe he's not abandoned." She waved a finger in front of the baby's face and he latched onto it. "Maybe whoever he belongs to just left him here to get food or something."
"Hm. Possibly. But why not just bring him with them especially in Subcon forest? In fact WHY Subcon Forest? This place is renowned far and wide as extremely dangerous. Unless whoever they were was in big trouble or extremely foolish, I doubt anyone would risk coming in here. More so with an infant!"
"....Well then guess I'll have to wait and find out." Hazelle with that carefully sat down still holding the baby in her arms and sighed leaning her back against the wall to get comfortable.
Moonjumper rose a brow. "You CAN'T be serious."
"Why not? If whoever it was comes back they might need help. Besides, I can't just leave a baby here. Would you?"
"I-...Well no! But what if whoever it is is dangerous? You could be in big trouble."
"Hey. No big deal. I've dealt with both you and Snatcher before. I can take care of myself. Besides you'll just be forced back into the Horizon any minute now. I'll give them twenty four hours. If they don't come back then, I'll ask Snatcher. Maybe he'll know something we don't."
...Moonjumper sighed. "I sure hope you know what you're doing, Hazelle."
Soon the first rays of light hurt the world and as expected Moojumper dissipated into glitchy cubs disappearing back into the green paranormal world of the Horizon. And Hazelle made herself comfortable just sitting back there leaning against the wall, legs crossed, one hand behind her head, and pushing her hat over her eyes to give them a rest from the sunlight. All the while the baby laid snug against her body. At one point she fell asleep for a few hours having been up the night before but being a light sleeper meant she would've heard someone come in and be up in an instant. ...And no one came. Not when the sun came up. Not when the sun hit noon. Not when the sun set came. And definitely not when night fell. And there Hazelle laid patiently in the same position except now that the baby was asleep in her arm safely without a care in the world. Until that is when the familiar sound of shackles came, and Hazelle pushed her hat up to meet the eyes of Moonjumper who had once again appeared before her being night again. The ghost had stood there staring at them, not really surprised to see the baby still with Hazelle. But he had hoped that whoever was responsible for the little tyke would return to claim the baby and even leave the forest. In had been on his mind all day making his metaphorical stomach sink and his worst thoughts were confirmed as soon as he appeared. His crestfallen face mirroring his thoughts.
"Anything?," he asked even though he already knew the answer.
Frowning Hazelle shook her head no. "No one. Not even a ghost. And I've been sitting here on my butt all day."
"Well judging by how he's been found here, he was probably here for longer than you were. Face it Hazelle. No one's coming back for him."
"Timmy."
Moonjumper blinked. "Pardon?"
"Timmy. His name's Timmy."
"And how do you know that?"
Hazelle answered him by pulling a corner of the blanket up for him to look at and embroidered with dark blue thread into the blanket was letters. T. I. M. M. Y. Timmy. "I found this little clue right here."
"You know that might not even be his real name."
She shrugged before carefully pushing herself off the wall and standing up. "It's the only thing we got going for us right now and it's better than calling him 'it'." Well..she had a point. She reached back over and carefully lifted her bag back up and threw it over her shoulder. "Well I gave them a whole day to show up. Now there's just one person to see if they know anything about this here."
"You don't mean-"
"Snatcher yes. You're free to wait back while I go ask him." She said before beginning to walk out of the abandoned house.
Moonjumper watched as she left just floating there before sighing and floating after her. Might as well see how this played out. Too say it was less than ideal was putting it lightly. It took them a little while to get to said purple ghost's tree house and Snatcher was...Well. Irritated and angry as usual, especially seeing Moonjumper there of all people but luckily it seemed that him being thrown off completely seeing Hazelle holding an infant was enough to spare Moonjumper from his wrath. But it was followed by Snatcher demanding what was going on, them explaining the details to him, and then when they asked-....Snatcher. Knew. Nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Turns out there's no traps or minions of his in that area of the forest being so close to the edge of the forest so even if someone snuck in, Snatcher wouldn't have been alerted to any intruders. So someone could've easily slipped in and out without Snatcher noticing they were even there. He didn't even know the child was even there until he was brought to his attention. Which left them nothing, and Snatcher wasn't any help when he huffed and left them with it.
"Whatever. Just get it out of my forest!"
Tch. Typical reaction of Snatcher's, but what was he expecting from him? Which left now him and Hazelle in the presence of the child without any idea where he came from and most likely abandoned, and no idea what to do with little Timmy apparently.
"What now?," he has asked after a while. "We can't just put him back, and Snatcher's no help as usual."
Hazelle hummed letting the now awake baby nom on the edge of his blanket curiously. "I know. It'd be crueler than leaving him alone in the first place. ...*sigh* It's not uncommon for people who're afraid of magic or who just don't want to deal with it to abandon those children I'm afraid. I guess Timmy's just another one of those people with that sad fate."
Abandoned for something he didn't even know or had done. He knew that feeling all too well. This baby and him were practically parallels having been betrayed by people who were supposed to love you and protect you...Now they were all alone...Or- He looked at the small giggling child. Or WERE they? Hazelle blinked as he reached right over shackles clanking and picked up the baby from her arms and turning to cradle him in his own arms...He couldn't change his own fate, but he could certainly change Timmy.
"Well then it's decided. I shall care for him."
"What?," Hazelle asked raising a brow and placed her free hand on her hip. "You can't be serious."
"And why not? I wouldn't mind the company. And as ghosts don't need sleep I can give him around the clock care. Besides, I...I-I've always wanted a child when I was alive."
Hazelle's expression turned to one of pity before she sighed. "I get that. But DO you know how to take care of a baby? Especially one with magic obviously?"
He stammered. "I- Well...N-No. But Timmy's worth the effort and besides...Maybe you could help?"
"Moony. I didn't sign up to become a replacement mother."
"Oh come now Hazelle. I would be doing most of the work anyways. All I need is some help and someone to teach me please?" He held up the giggling baby to him more with a smile melting on his face. "Besides...This might just be what he needs. A loving home with people who know about magic and won't abandon him. Please?"
The witch stared at the ghost for a long moment as some kind of thoughts whirled about her head before sighing. "Fine! But I hope you know what you're getting into."
A bright and fanged smile speared across the old ghost's face before he looked down to the giggling baby in his arms. "Well little one." He offered a hand towards the baby who cooed and looked at it as a string appeared from his finger tip only to gently wrap itself around his small hand. "I promise as long as your under my protection nothing shall ever happen to you again." The baby giggled at the display before looking back up to the smiling ghost. "I promise."

VIDEOVERSE Accessibility Review
VIDEOVERSE by Kinmoku is a real blast from the past. Anyone who was in the online forum community from the late 90's to the early 2000's will instantly recognize this particular era of the internet. Even those of us who weren't, like myself, can still find a lot of love and nostalgia. The game is filled to the brim with references and doggo cameos! Like many visual novels, the gameplay is simplistic and easy to understand. It tells a story about online communities, both the good and the bad. The main art style looks like old-school internet pages with a simple and clean UI. Not only that, it features some fantastic animated cutscenes for a fake rpg game and animation for online video chat segments! Clearly, this is a game made with love. When it comes to accessibility, VIDEOVERSE hits the three single most important accessible features a game in this genre requires: easy-to-see visuals (high contrast between backgrounds and text), a screen reader, and the ability to change to a dyslexic-friendly font. It also has a full content warning list. The list shows every applicable content warning via broad label, but you can click on each warning to see details. These details do contain spoilers, but it's nice to see that it lets you pick.
That's the key to accessibility: the more options you have, the more accessible it is.
VIDEOVERSE's accessibility doesn't end there. The game offers subtitles for sound effects, separate volume controls (sound, music, and voice), and the ability to type your replies instead of selecting them from a list. It even gives you several different "themes" from the start so that you can pick and choose which visuals are best for you. VIDEOVERSE isn't perfect though. It falls short in a few areas. The biggest issue is with flashing graphics. One of the fake internet ads is a fairly large box that flashes every time it runs. There's no way to turn this off or avoid the ad. It's rng if the ad will pop up. But seeing as there are only a handful of these fake internet ads for the game to choose from, you WILL see it. The desk pause screen also has a subtler flash in the background, but it's large enough that it bothered me. Finally, the ending segment has a full-screen glitch effect that includes flashing. It's a shame I can't turn these off or select altered versions of the effects. Other accessibility features I'd like to see is the ability to make a custom theme from the get go. It doesn't need to be anything in-depth, but the ability to choose which background and text colors work best for the player would be golden. I'd love to see a UI adjuster as well. Though the font is by no means small, some people have smaller screens or struggle to see and require larger fonts. Another place VIDEOVERSE falls short is controls. While the controls are simple and it does have two different options for controls, I'd like to see custom keybinding. This way players can adjust as needed to specialty controllers or simply more comfortable mapping. At the end of the day, I've enjoyed my time with VIDEOVERSE. It's a cute, well-crafted game that clearly had a lot of love put into it. If you're a fan of retro games and visual novels, this one will be a delight. The accessibility options are a great start, though I'd like to see a couple extra features or some currently implemented options in a more in-depth way.
VIDEOVERSE is available on Steam and Itch.io for PC, Mac, and Linux. It currently costs $12.99, €12,79, and £10.99. Thank you, Kinmoku for providing me with a review copy!

Elsbeth: show so nice it premiered twice
First episode
okay so we're Only Murders In The Building-ing
If they're trying to make this any bit intentionally tied (even if not in same universe) to So Help Me Todd, I doubt it went as deep as casting Jane Krakowski because she was the original choice for Margaret but she does still keep up the tradition of Broadway guest stars on cop shows like this
Is Elsbeth just going to make friends with every person-we-know-is-the-culprit until she knows they're the culprit
(unless that'd accomplish the job and make the narrative shorter) just say he freaking threatened to shoot you
Elsbeth's wardrobe basically nicer Margaret Wright
bringing snacks (if that's even a snack and not just an abomination), is that good cop or just "mom cop"
hmm does casual drop of ADD from character set up as her narrative foil mean potential ADD Elsbeth reveal later
nice meta references there with the length of decree
I can't count how many procedurals-of-various-sorts (both cop and not, both realistic-fiction and supernatural) I've seen the whole handedness test trick in
That is not how I've ever heard tzuris said, by either of them
Okay heels on a treadmill how?
I take back what I said, more like Only Murderers In The Building
Nice twist at the end with the extra body
Second episode
oh hi Mitch, what are you wearing AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING
Not Elsbeth almost literally going attention deficit oo shiny
You go girl supporting other people and their hyperfixations
Didn't hit me until now that (in addition to her being good at both their specialties and dressing like Margaret while acting like Todd down to the neurodivergence) Elsbeth and Todd both work in the closet
nice expose of the reality TV process, I'm guessing the only way CBS let them get away with that is that The Amazing Race and Survivor are too different
And in true NYC-set procedural fashion a Broadway reunion in the guest star cast (Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Deborah S. Craig from the original cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee)
Even if I didn't know he did it I'd still find Skip's reaction bad acting
Loving Kaia letting her hair down both figuratively and literally bonding with Elsbeth over the show
And Katrisha just adding to the veiled-expose-of-how-things-work-in-reality
OK between the "silly women" thing, him turning Elsbeth's question about the memorial on the show being in poor taste into asking her if Kaia had poor taste liking the show and him basically telling them what they're supposed to do like he's running this show anyone else wanna kill Skip or at least do severe damage to areas they, well, can't show on TV
she actually got to explain herself and Wagner came this close to actually believing her
I know I've heard that piece they played at the memorial before, was that the freaking "Criminal Minds creepy music" or something
*Judy Hopps voice* "actually it's your word against yours"
okay between some of the meta talk earlier (and even in the previous episode), her echoing Skip's words about reality is my business, the episode cutting to black right after she said "can I say cut" and her first-person-narrating the trailers for what she's going to do, if (kayn ahora) the show lasts as long as I'd want there's the beginnings of a bit of a subtext of Elsbeth being a bit of an Abed

//Post pictures of your ideal body in places you can easily see them. This includes your phone or laptop/pc wallpaper.
Move the treats and sweets some place where they are complicated to reach.//
I just need to comment, and I am trying to be respectful here, but these two pieces are really kind of... bad advice. I would NEVER recommend people post pictures of their "ideal bodies". That is very toxic and can have negative and devastating effects. Most people have unrealistic expectations and not being able to ever reach their "ideal body" can lead to anxiety, depression, among other issues and most damaging - eating disorders. If you are constantly confronted by this "ideal body" on your phone, around your house, etc. that you can never reach? That can have long lasting effects on mental health. Everybody can't have every body. It's just not realistic. And I speak from not just personal experience, but from having friends, family, acquaintances that have gone through the same or very similar things (plus a psych degree but this was not my area of specialty so I don't pretend like I am an authority). While anon who sent the ask seems to have realistic expectations and isn't looking to lose weight specifically, they are not the only one reading your response. At a young age when I was in the best shape I will probably ever be in in my life I started this. I cut out pics of the "ideal body" I wanted, I saved them in a notebook for reference. I started dieting and exercising to try and reach that goal. I never could (I was a size 3 and very active and still never could). Then my eating disorders started shortly after. This was all in high school. 20+ years later I have done so much damage to my body I will probably never know the extent of it. It is a very quick and slippery slope from "this is what I want to look like" to depression and disordered eating. I know my case is not universal, but it is also far more common than people want to admit. My best friend growing up, and at that time when this was all starting, actually was going through the same thing at the same time and I didn't know. I found out a few years later that we both had been struggling through the same thing but that's a longer story for another time. The point is, you should work out for your own mental and physical health, not to get an "ideal body" because you will never reach that goal and you will never be happy with it. If you work out for health benefits then the aesthetic changes are just an added bonus. It's also more sustainable when you aren't trying to work out simply to look a certain way. When you are doing it all for looks then you tend to get much more easily discouraged and many even give up (or go to extremes mentioned above). This was a hard learned lesson.
And about the food comment - first of all, no food is inherently "good" or "bad", we assign them those designations and stigmatize food which is also very detrimental. Yes some foods are more nutrient dense and healthier/better for you but eating a fast food burger is better than eating nothing. In fact, there are studies that show that the way we perceive our food effects the way our bodies respond to those foods (specifically ghrelin aka the hunger hormone - just look up the "mind over milkshakes" experiment, here is a very simplified overview of it here but you can find longer more detailed reviews with more thorough explanations of the results). So labeling foods as "bad" can actually be more detrimental. And removing certain foods you love or enjoy actually tends to have the opposite effect. You then become out of control with those foods. For example, if you like ice cream but never let yourself eat it or keep it in the house because its "bad" then when you do finally have some you feel completely out of control with it and often overeat. Which can start a negative cycle of negativity towards yourself for "lack of self-control" when in reality, its the overabundance of control around food that causes that behavior. When I finally quit dieting I had this problem with so many foods that I never allowed myself. And in order to reverse this you just have to let yourself eat all the foods until they are no longer an issue. Now I always have ice cream in the house and I know I can eat it whenever I want. But you know what? I rarely do. So yes, "hiding bad foods" may seem like a good idea in the short term, it can actually make the way you handle and interact with those foods much worse in the future.
For anyone who wants more info on any of this there is a great and really entertaining book about it - it includes the milkshake study, The Minnesota Starvation Experiment, personal info, medical info, why you feel "addicted" to certain foods, etc. and it's honestly a funny read - its called "The F*ck It Diet" [website]
And this was not an accusation towards you, I find that many people don't realize or understand the impact that suggestions like these make. And as someone who struggled for 20+ years and only finally made it through about 1-2 years ago (I still struggle daily) I have a hard time biting my tongue when I read things like this. I WISH someone had said all these things to me back when it started. I wish I never tried to emulate a certain body type. I wish I realized that working out and eating for health and happiness will always be better than working out to obtain a certain body. Educating myself on nutrition, diet culture, exercise techniques, etc. has been so helpful and I wish I had all this info when young me thought if I just skipped the ice cream, if I just worked out for another hour, if I JUST ___ then I would be happy. My best advice if you want to start working out - explore your options, see what types of workouts you like and what you hate. The best workout you can do is the one you enjoy because its the one you are actually going to do. And I agree, start small. Don't overdo it out of the gate. Start trying new things and see what works for you and your body. For example I can't run because I have a bad knee but I love to take long walks. I also enjoy strength training but yoga is really not my jam. Finding what you like is honestly the best first step.
Sorry for the rant (and I hope it didn't feel like a lecture), its just something that I am very invested in and passionate about and don't want to see people go down the road I went.
@ anon thank you for pointing that out but I feel I must inform you that I never used the word bad in association to food within my post. Plus the advice I gave was also advice I got from my ex trainer. Putting away treats helps avoid overeating, notice I never mentioned you shouldn't indulge or ever labeled any food as bad. I've added a clarification to that suggestion since it seems you assumed something intensely toxic based on a simple suggestion of making treats harder to reach.
The idea behind that is making them difficult to reach will have you think twice on whether you truly need to have that treat or not. If you leave sweets readily available they can become an environmental cue and you're more likely to over eat.
Over eating sweets and less than ideal foods can cause health issues over time, needless to say so I disagree with you, I think the way you set up the kitchen is highly important as you can either create a harmonious, healthy environment or you can so create an environment where over eating and consuming unhealthy foods comes much easier. Again food affects your body directly so I think placing things carefully is important. This doesn't mean denying yourself things, it means focusing on being balanced.
If, for example, you consume a lot of Coca Cola and similar drinks don't expect to lose weight or have an improvement in health. You can absolutely enjoy it but in a balanced way to avoid damaging your health and packing on a lot of weight very fast.
Not to mention sugar in general is extremely damaging to health, there's a reason professionals recommend consuming it very little.
As for the priming part, I've also amended that though I never said people should compare their bodies or anything like that, that's toxic. I said use images to prompt your mind to remember to exercise but I suppose I did fail to add details so I've added a little explanation with that. Priming pertains to NLP and is far from toxic. But you're right, if someone approaches weight loss in a highly toxic way they can absolutely use images to their detriment just as they can use any specific weight loss aspect to their detriment and create a self sabotage circle. This is why it's important to approach weight loss only after fully accepting and loving your body as it is. Dieting doesn't work because the focus isn't on increasing well being, it's on making your current body wrong and fighting that. Whereas the anon had a very healthy approach, they appreciate their body as it is and only want to get fitter, they are looking to enhance their wellbeing.
Also, there's absolutely nothing wrong with setting goals as long as they are realistic and as long as the focus is on wellbeing.
Seems like you had a lot of hardship regarding weight loss so I appreciate you sharing your perspective as I am sure a lot of people can relate.
As for eating disorders, it's important to investigate the mother-daughter link first and foremost as those issues stem from trauma within that bond.
Sorry if I made no sense but I couldn't sleep last night and I am fairly tired this morning. 😴

Another day I'm counting as a walk - #72 - despite most of it being sitting or standing around waiting.
Another doctor's appointment, this time to see a rheumatoid arthritis specialist at Sunnybrook about my fallen right foot (and the possibly related slight tingling in outer edge of left hand and loss of grip strength in same).
Well, the doctor and their student are fairly sure that whatever is causing it is not, in fact, in their area of specialty, but ordered a pile of blood tests and a full set of hand-wrist-foot-ankle x-rays to confirm and to give them additional leads. They're including the hands and wrists because they felt I was missing muscle mass in both hands compared to what they expected to see there, plus the loss of grip strength and tingling. They also referred me for an MRI later this fall, since whatever might be causing the problem may be a soft tissue issue.
I didn't even have to mention that the MRI would need to be back up north, they'd figured that out from my address, and are forwarding it directly to Health Sciences North in Sudbury. Hopefully from all of that they'll be able to narrow down what kind of specialist to get me a subsequent referral for; apparently the doctor also is intrigued enough by whatever odd thing is going on in the foot to ask me to give the two of them a call after the MRI is eventually done, presumably so they can take a look at it too. Their best guess at the moment is that it might be a "neuropathic joint" related to a combination of the peripheral neuropathy I had from severe foot infection 20 years back, plus a decade+ of untreated Type II diabetes worsening the neuropathy. They've also set up a referral to an endocrinologist up north to take a closer look into whatever my diabetes has been up to.
One nice thing, since they were getting blood work done, and I had the blood work order from the walk-in clinic doctor on hand, who I think they said has privileges at the same hospital, they just added what he wanted done onto what they wanted done so I could get all of it handled in one go. Yay for one less stop I had to make today, and being able to get it all done at the hospital rather than having to travel to a separate blood lab for separate draws. Many x-rays of my extremities were taken, many tubes of my blood were drawn, after which I treated myself to a giant cookie and a coffee at the hospital cafeteria before heading out.
...and then did some shopping before I went back to the nephew's place, since the hospital bus left me off at a subway station one stop away from a Kitchen Stuff+ store. Sadly they didn't carry the main thing I was after (pasta drying rack and ravioli mould to go with the pasta roller attachment I bought for my KitchenAid) but I did grab a small pile of assorted kitchen implements I wanted, like a proper offset spatula, dough scraper, small tongs, a water bottle cleaning set, and so forth.
And then once I finally got back to the house I napped, because all of that was tiring.

How did you make your first Affiliate Sale.
I will share my personal experience of how I made my 1st affiliate income from Facebook groups. There are so many ways to earn your first affiliate sale with free traffic. There is no right or wrong method, just try which one will work best for you.
Tumblr media
How to make your first affiliate sale?
I was surprised when I made my first affiliate sale from Facebook groups. It was when I checked my email. There was a notification that I made a sale from one of the Fiverr affiliate program.
Here's my first sale notification I got from Fiverr.
Tumblr media
It's was a great feeling for me since this is the first time I made an organic affiliate sale from Facebook groups. I was feeling super excited on that day!At that time, I realized that making money through affiliate marketing using Facebook groups was possible. Even I didn't have an email list yet. But I didn't know email list back then. It gave me hope that earning an affiliate sale without collecting an email list as a new passiver was possible. As long as i had enough quality traffic to my fiverr affiliate link, making affiliate sales were possible.I know for every newbie who's starting the tough journal with affiliate marketing, I tell you there are so many things to learn .
Okay What's a Traffic source?
A traffic source refers to any platform that can send visitors to an affiliate site, landing page, or CPA offer. It is the medium through which people find a website or offer you promote. Monitoring these sources can help you understand what attracts users and focus on doing more of that to keep the traffic coming. It gives you ample information about the target audience to figure out how to convert them best.
Tumblr media
A traffic source can be either organic or paid. Organic traffic comes from unpaid sources, practically free traffic. The most popular type of organic traffic is from search engines like Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo. Paid traffic, on the other hand, comes to your website after you pay for advertising promotions on social media, search engines, and blog.
Paid traffic
Such traffic is easier to get because it involves advertising on sources that are guaranteed to drive views and clicks to your website. For example, if you type a common phrase like “website hosting” into Google, you’ll see several web hosting providers advertising their services before you even see an organic link. The downside is that this type of traffic can be costly, especially when you’re targeting highly-competitive keywords and websites.
Tumblr media
Google Ads Traffic Academy where you can join and meet millions of affiliate users worldwide, over 28,000 direct click funnels that can generate high-quality traffic for your blog posts or any other sales landing pages for your affiliate niche. You can learn more at Google Ads Traffic Academy and know more in detail how to use paid traffic from 248 GEOs.
Tumblr media
Organic traffic
You don’t need to pay a dime for organic traffic, but it takes time to build, unlike paid traffic. Search engine optimization (SEO) is the most common way to get organic traffic. You should structure your website and posts in a way that makes them rank high on search engines. Use the right keywords, headings, image formats, etc. Backlinks from other websites also help build up organic traffic. The good thing about this type of traffic is that once you build it up, it has a lot of staying power, unlike paid traffic which disappears once you stop advertising.
disclaimer: this post contains affiliate links which means I may receive a small commission if you purchase using that link at no extra cost to you. and if you do, I appreciate you!
Okay, let's get back to the main point, which is how I got my first affiliate sale. I began advancing by writing blog content for my affiliate niches, somewhat recently of February 2021. The primary spot that I used to direct people to my blog was using gathering traffic.I joined a few specialty discussions connected with my blog specialties, like Blackhatworld, Fighter Gathering, and Computerized Point. What I did is simply helping other people discussion individuals in the gathering by responding to their inquiries. I was very suspicious since I didn't get sufficient traffic to my blog from Gathering advertising. As may be obvious, the quantity of guests coming to my blog is around 2-7 individuals each day. That traffic all approaching from gathering promoting.
Tumblr media
I realized the traffic isn't a lot of on the grounds that I didn't make a string on the discussion and just advanced my blog through my gathering mark in under seven days. To put it another way, I failed to consistently participate actively in the forum each day! I want to believe that I can improve from now on! Haha. The subsequent traffic source I used to drive traffic is Quora. Equivalent to gathering advertising. What I did is responding to inquiries on Quora to construct a standing and get traffic to my blog. Here you can see on my Quora details that I just response six inquiries altogether.
Tumblr media
Something great really happened after discovering quora was the best ways of getting more leads.
Traffic Source I used to Make My Most memorable Affiliate sales
At first, I chose a forum and Quora as my sources of traffic because both can quickly bring free traffic to our website. It took me one month to procure my most memorable associate deal since I began advancing my blog. We should profound jump into how I directed people to my blog post.
As I have explained previously, my first traffic source is Forum Marketing. I drove traffic to my blog through forums related to my blog niches, such as Blackhatworld, Digital Point, and Warrior Forum. Some forums will allow us to have a signature line on our post. The signature line can be used to drive traffic by promoting your blog post content with hyperlink text. I did this by commenting on several threads to increase the chance the forum members saw my signature. If they're interested in the topic on my signature line, they will click it.
As to date quora is the free traffic source and you'll get free traffic by answering questions and writing posts about certain topics asked.
So in Conclusion>>> Getting your most memorable Affiliate Sale is conceivable despite the fact that with just a limited quantity of traffic. Taking a gander at the traffic on my Google logical, obviously both discussion and Quora can assist with bringing free traffic quicker to your blog. Thus, I could procure my most memorable offshoot deals with a couple of guests to my blog.So the key here is zeroing in on driving rush hour gridlock and making more blog entries as another blogger. This is the main thing you want to zero in on toward the start. Try not to contemplate making your own item or email stream crusade yet, when you have predictable traffic to your blog. It's not beyond any good time to begin fabricating your email records.P.S: Assuming you like my response, sympathetic upvote it and follow me for getting any further updates from my responses. If you want to know more about becoming successful in affiliate marketing. I've an affiliate marketing course and affordable one. I'll guide you step by step and start generating your first sales.

The architects describe the form as "familiar and yet strange". "Depending on the angle it appears small and compact or long and slim," they explained. "A space continuum with differentiated spatial impressions ranging from narrow and wide, low and high to small and large."

Change Max Slope Value
Do you want to place lots where you want them? Regardless of a steep slope? Then this trick is for you!
- When you place one of the game's empty lots down in your hood - this mod allows lot placement without changing the terrain. Empty lots will no longer automagically flatten; you will be able to build according to the lay of the land. You can build off the side of a cliff with this mod!
- When placing lots from the LotBin (pre-built lots) - you can place them on slopes, and uneven terrain without issue. This will not change the terrain inside the lot; it will conform the terrain around the lot to match. You can populate the "ridge" in Belladonna Cove with houses now!

The file is the same as I’ve published before - I just refreshed the info and added new pictures to better show what this does. I’ll be posting this to MTS soon, along with a Cliff House that uses it... So, I thought I should repost here. ;)

32 Lot-Adjusted Empty Lots
Have you always wanted to build on small 1X1 lots? Or have a smaller sized beach lot for your surfer shack? Well, now you can! I have done all the Lot-Adjusting work for you. 😉
These lots were made with the UC installed. If you don't have all the EPs/SPs (or at least AL/M&G as your highest one,) you prolly can't use these! (I provided links below, for similar "empty lot" collections - some of them don't need all EP/SPs.)
ALL possible lot sizes are included (within the game's original size limit of 6X6) - including Beach lots.

LotCatalog Refresh Project ~ a complete Lot Bin overhaul
This is a Complete Overhaul of the Lot Bin. Every lot has been fixed, improved, cleaned, and now comes with a custom thumbnail. Many of the lots have been shrunk, and several of them have 2-Step foundations... After installing these files, the next time you generate a new TS2 Saved Game your lot catalog ("Lot Bin") should look a lot better, and the houses should be easier to use. Your sims will be able to move-in and start living - without having to worry about missing fire alarms and telephones, nasty sim references, or if they paid too much for extra acreage they just don't need. I really tried to keep EA/Maxis' original intent for the houses in the Lot Bin. They are meant to be a "starting point" for your sim families. I tried to keep each lot's original 'flavor'... Every Lot Bin house/lot has been edited and has a custom thumbnail...

A Taste of Hanover
Home to the very first “Marylou’s”
Tumblr media
Hanover, MA is home to the very first Marylou’s, one of the most popular coffee shops on the South Shore. “The best coffee in town,” makes getting out of bed easy with their delicious selection of their own original flavors. Located at 211 Washington Street, you will be able to find a coffee to satisfy your every craving. With so many to choose from, you won’t be disappointed. Marylou’s will make your morning just a little bit sweeter.
The coffee shop was started back in 1986, right in one of the most historical parts of Hanover, called “four corners.” Dating all the way back to 1856, a hotel was located in this part of town but was later torn down after World War I. The spot where the hotel was has since been turned into new shops such as baking and floral shops, and the rest of the area is surrounded by old houses, some of which even date back to the 1700s. The Marylou’s building also happens to be an old house that was converted into a coffee shop. Whether you are looking for something minty, sweet, fruity, or just a classic cup of coffee, Marylou’s has you covered. Their variety of flavors is what keeps customers coming back.
If you are looking for just a simple coffee, you can always just get black coffee and if you wuld like, you can add sweeteners or try one of their flavors, made however you like it. To name a few, you can choose from white chocolate chip, mocha mint, strawberry nut, banana nut, blueberry cinnamon, hazelnut, snickerdoodle, and many more. If you are going for something even sweeter or with all the more flavor, you can select from their “specialty” coffee menu, which includes flavors such as butterfinger, twix, peanutbutter, and almond joy. Lastly, if you are really having a sweet tooth, you can choose from the “extra specialty” menu, which I would say is their most popular menu, especially amongst the middle-high school age range, with flavors such as girl scout cookie, strawberry shortcake, minty lou, caramel lou, and many more including their signature drink, the funky fanabla, a delicious chocolatey treat.
On top of all their coffee choices, you can also indulge in other options such as smoothies, frozen drinks, and even food such as pastries and breakfast sandwhiches. Their most popular frozen drink would have to be the oreo cookie monster, often ordered by young kids, but great for anyone to enjoy.  My personal favorite comes from the extra specialty menu and it is called the turtle, inspired by turtle chocolate clusters. It's the perfect balance of sweet and flavorful while still tasting like coffee. While the turtle is my personal favorite, I would argue that girl scout cookie is their most popular flavor. It has the perfect mint and chocolate combination, just like how you would imagine a girl scout cookie to be. Regardless of the flavor you choose, your drink will taste exactly like what it is called. With so many different coffees to try, how would you not you not want to keep coming back to try them all?
Upon entering the shop, Marylou's friendly staff will make you feel welcome. There is always a bubbly and active atmosphere that fills the building, and if you come by often enough, chances are they will definitely refer to you by name and know your order. The employees show great care towards their customers, as they will often ask them how their drink looks or if they would like anything else to be added to it. Feel free to take a seat at one of the stools by the window and chat with your friends while enjoying your cup of coffee. I have always felt welcome and comfortable when walking into a Marylou’s, and I have never left unsatisfied by the service or my order. The service is always quick and efficient and it is always a great experience each time I go.
Their pink and black color scheme that fills the store is one you would recognize anywhere. Since the Hanover shop was started back in 1986, many more locations have opened up across the South Shore, including five stores in Rhode Island, and one on Cape Cod. If you are ever visiting the South Shore of Massachusetts, Marylou’s is a place that you must visit. With so many options to choose from, I am sure you will find something you like, and want to come back for more.

I understand youre mad that eddie won't be back for a second season but calling the duffer bros hacks bc they didn't write a story of salvation seems a bit much lol. Sometimes bad things happen to good people and then they die. Sometimes good people get bad lots in life and they cant overcome that. That HAPPENS. It's not lazy to not save every single character. It's not lazy to have an unhappy ending. Not all stories have to wrap up making you feel good. It doesn't make the storyteller shit at telling stories. Idk so many people seem to feel like the duffer brothers ~don't deserve eddie or whatever just bc they decided he was always destined for tragedy and that seems like a really neutered way to interact with stories. Some people do have tragic lives with no redemption by the end. Telling stories about characters like that isn't lazy or bullshit and it's actually very skillful to make everyone love them and hope for them so fiercly the way stranger things has. I guess idc about the duffer bros specifically but the way everyone shits on the handling of the character just bc there was never any chance for salvation. It just feels like we all need to stop expecting salvation and hope from EVERY character in everything we watch and read. Surely that's boring?
Referring to the Duffer brothers as hacks stretch further back beyond a story of salvation. If anything, I understand why Eddie was killed off regarding the character arc. I find their work grating from many lazy writing decisions that have been made across the show in its entirety. Plus, they seem to write to stereotype.
My issue with the Duffers regarding Eddie was with stating they didn't see a way he would be able to have any semblance of a decent life. The character was not a two-dimensional one, so why expect simplistic outcomes, especially in a show whereby other characters of similar stereotyping have managed to escape that amongst the otherwise confines of the society in which they exist? Then I have an issue where one character is explained basically as a 'bad egg' and pigeonholed that only salvation can come in the form of death. That, more than an issue with writing, is simple issue with stereotyping full stop.
With regards to your comment: "Telling stories about characters" being "...very skillful to make everyone love them and hope for them so fierc(e)ly the way stranger things has." The telling of a story using a screenplay is a multipath street in terms of a television show, film or live production. Words on the page are indeed written by the writers, which the actors and director take and create added dimensions. Like taking a recipe to make a cake. Each actor helps to construct the characters with their understanding of who that person is, what their motivations are and deep diving around why they are who they are. Hand in hand with production who create costumes, hair, make up, effects, scenes and sets, lighting, sound and many other behind the scenes teams and specialty areas all landing under the hand of the director. It is the director who has a vision for what the scene as a microcosm of the larger piece should look like on screen. It's a skilled dance of many. No one, not even the Duffers themselves, anticipated the extent to which Eddie would resonate with people around the world. It happens, and had they someone else in the role, someone else organising costume, someone else handling hair and makeup then perhaps that would not have happened the that would have led to a very different flatter version of the character as written in the screenplays themselves.
If you've not, I highly recommend you take the time to research the actual writing quality in the screenplays. Research 'missed opportunities' you will see many examples that I won't bother retyping to reiterate.
