ugh i wish personality tests were real. because i know i would enjoy that shit so much. i love sorting things, myself included, into little boxes this shit is right up my alley. but they have to go and be "unscientific" and "unreliable" and "don't actually tell you anything useful about yourself, stria, why do you even care?"

What does ENFJ and ESFJ mean?
ENFJ stands for Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging.
ESFJ stands for Extraverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging.
Both of these personality types are outgoing, people-oriented, kind and caring when they're healthy (but harsh and manipulative when they're unhealthy), organized, harmony-seeking, and natural leaders.
But the ENFJ focuses more on the big picture and future possibilities, while the ESFJ focuses more on the present and concrete details. Even though both are Feelers, not Thinkers, the ESFJ is considered more "practical" than the ENFJ.
Fictional characters usually thought of as ENFJs include Emma Woodhouse in Emma, Padmé in the Star Wars prequels, Marmee in Little Women, Mufasa in The Lion King, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate (though she's an unhealthy one), and Hans in Frozen (ditto).
Fictional characters thought of as ESFJs include Miss Piggy from the Muppets, both Meg and Amy in Little Women, Glinda in Wicked, Troy Bolton in High School Musical, Leonard "Bones" McCoy in Star Trek, Mrs. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice (an unhealthy one), and Nelly Dean in Wuthering Heights.

Carl Jung once proposed that intuitives may have more sensitivity to smell than other personality types, especially dominant intuitives, because like their preferred cognitive function, smell is subconscious. This got me theorizing that perhaps each personality type has a unique sensory sensitivity. So, based on Jung's idea, I humbly propose:
Sensory Sensitivities of the 16 MBTI Personality Types
Perceivers: Touch
Perception operates in the here and now, as does touch. If something is not within grasp at the same time as you, you can't feel it. Touch senses force and largely operates on an instinctual level. It is subconscious yet concrete, like perception. Perception makes us jump, like feeling a surprise touch.
Thinkers: Sight
Thinking apprehends the here, but not necessarily now, as does sight. You can only see clealry what's near you at a given time. Sight detects danger within vicinity and prompts inhibition. It is conscious yet concrete, like thought. Thought makes us pause, like spotting a snake.
Feelers: Sound
Feeling functions in the now, but not necessarily here, as does sound. You can hear something coming before it is there. Sound gives away incoming threats and stimulates impulse. It is conscious yet abstract, like feeling. Feeling makes us arouse, like hearing a scream.
Intuitives: Smell
Intuition emerges beyond the here and now, as does smell. Sometimes the first thing that hits you is the smell, and it lingers long after. Smell provides warnings in the form of insight. It is subconscious and abstract, like intuition. Intuition makes us understand, like smelling a rat.

INTJs are lazy
There's a common assumption that INTJs are these inhuman super-soldier people who just want to get it done (hi ENTJs).
"Lazy" is often the last word that comes to mind... when really, it should be the first.
INTJs are all about efficiency. We're about getting the thing done, minimal effort and maximum output. Sometimes, that means (accidentally) waiting until 2am when the neurons start firing.
But the usual culprit is that our Ni-dom starts rattling around inside our skulls, preaching about perfection and hyping up our fear of failure. If you're not a snot-nosed baby, your task will require some modicum of effort and research. As INTJs, if we don't feel prepared enough to nail it perfectly the first time, what do we do?
We put it off.
And we will keep putting it off because with every day that deadline creeps closer, we keep calculating in our heads, "I've still got time. I can still do it even MORE efficiently, in even LESS time." This ends with the legendary 72-hour nonstop caffeine-fueled thesis sprint, where we exhaust our Ni (and then get totally wasted because we indulge our inferior Se).
If you're an INTJ and you want to stop procrastinating, turn off your brain. Get off Tumblr, open up that thing you need to do, and just start typing. The most difficult step is getting started. Everything will flow naturally from there.

Morfydd Clark, definitely an “ISFJ” ✨
My favorite MBTI source that types people on Youtube has finally got Morfydd Clark added on their channel. I just want to share the video as it is quite interesting. ISFJs are dubbed as Protectors and Nurturers. That's definitely, Morfydd Clark! She's actually a bit trickier to type compared to other ISFJs. Some people have even considered her to be an INFP or an ENTJ, and I totally see where they're coming from. What stands out to me the most about Morfydd is her 'FE' (Extraverted Feeling). It's evident in how she consistently acknowledges and includes others in whatever she's doing or saying. She sees people, and I love that. If you're a fan, you probably already picked up on that. Her 'Introverted Sensing' (SI) is at the top of the stack of her MBTI functions. She genuinely enjoys soaking up on her sensory experiences, and then meticulously processing them with her 'Introverted Thinking.' She'd be the type to experience something in real time, then will quickly compare it to her stored memories. Morfydd likes drawing from her past experiences as she observes her surroundings and the people in them, and then try to make sense of everything. That's how I see her. I am just hyped about this because of the fact, that the channel confirmed my observations. 😊
youtube
Comment on Youtube Oh my god, you really finally typed her. I am just over the moon! This is amazing. She really is an ISFJ! It feels good to know that, because I was actually trying to understand if she's either ISFJ or ESFJ. I was juggling if her 'FE' (Extraverted Feeling) was higher or not. Rose mentioned (1:53) how Morfydd does the 'SFJ' thing (FE), where she just compliments people. You are absolutely right! She does this a lot, just naturally including people whom she's worked with in the conversations, not just those on camera but others on set. She's always looking at others, complimenting and appreciating them. You also noticed of her 'NE' (Extraverted Intuition) and how she like, intensely associates and understands her role and the subject matter (4:23). That's because she is a massive fan of the books and the films since she was a kid. She said she found those stories kind of, like her respite from the world that doesn't completely understand her. She has ADHD and I guess that also explains why she really fixates on things she truly loves and could immerse herself so deep into them (hyperfocusing). I bet you could talk to her for hours and hours about anything she truly enjoys. "She doesn't take herself seriously." I love that you noticed that (4:54), she is a funny one, and she's definitely quirky, although it's not that obvious. But ask those people she's worked with. Her director in 'Saint Maud' (Rose Glass) did say how funny she actually is. She finds comedy in seriousness. I can't explain it, but I know what she meant. You also said, "What you see isn't always what you get" (7:43). I fell into that trap when typing her at first, and thought they might be right with 'INFP', but I knew her 'FE' was strong, so she can't really be an INFP (Introverted Feeler). I got stuck on that for quite a while. Thanks for mentioning that too. I just want to say, that I started following your advise. That typing people with the MBTI isn't really just about studying each function and stacking them up as you see it, it's also about comparing individuals. I see that it really worked for me. You guys already have a good set of ISFJ females that I was able to look at and compare her with. She really does seem like most of those women you typed on the ISFJ list, and that helped me decide. So yes! Your project works, and I love that. I just want to thank you again for finally typing Morfydd Clark. And I'm sorry this comment is so long! That's how much I loved it. THANK YOU CHRIS & ROSE!!! 🥰🥰🥰

You guys can check out Typebook, especially if you're interested in studying the 16 psychological types, or you're just simply curious of what personality type your favorite people might have. I just find MBTI typing really fun and interesting! 😎
What is your type? Take the test.

MBTI Grip: Se
An explaination on function grip in MBTI. Not an expert. May change later.
___
Grips occur when a type is under an immense amount of stress. Their other functions give up mentally and "shut down", which allows their inferior function to take over. A type in the grip begins to act like the unhealthy version of their inferior function, very unlike and opposite of themselves. Grips can last for a short while or longer, depending on how long the stress persists.
___
Se inferior (INxJ)
Se inferior types may struggle to enjoy the present moment as their minds are often set on what they need to do next. They can miss obvious details and struggle with daily routine. They can also let opportunities slip by since they are often not spontaneous or risk takers - they prefer to see how a situation may go and follow through with it.
When in an Se grip, INxJ will come out of their shell but in a careless, messy way. As Se is focused on the physical sensations, a very stressed INxJ will try to cope with stress by overworking their Se. They may start to over indulge in physical sensations and pleasures such as food (especially unhealthy food) and drinking, sexually risky behavior, tv and/or on their phones (screen time in general), drugs, sleeping time away, etc any unusual thrill seeking and risky behavior is part of the Se grip.
Engaging with the auxiliary function helps to alleviate the stress and to gradually break out of the grip. For INTJs, they have to use their Te; need to create plans and goals to achieve things to boost their focus and confidence. For INFJs, they have to use their Fe; engage with others, work on and improve their relationships with others. Both types should focus on setting realistic goals and expectations for themselves when trying to get out of a grip. Doing too much and having high expectations will likely result in failure and disappointment, only pushing themselves further into their grip. They need to learn to use Se to relax and to support their Ni and aux rather than a distraction.

This is obviously a very controversial topic, as it always is with typing a fictional character, but being an INFJ myself and a big fan of the Bat, I liked how the two could be linked together. If you don't agree with this typing is okay, I don't really care and neither should you. I'm just posting because I liked it!!
Forgot who I got the text from, or I'd tag them, but I think it came from reddit.
Batman is an INFJ. He’s often confused for an INTJ, but those that believe that either don’t understand INFJs or they don’t understand Batman. Granted there is overlap between INTJs and INFJs, so the confusion is understandable. Also, one must take into consideration the inconsistencies in the depiction of the character throughout his long history. Nonetheless, a well-written Batman is one that has a lot of feelings. INFJ males are the rarest combination in the world. It makes sense; Batman truly is one of a kind. INFJs feel deeper than other personality types. They don’t heal well. Think about how many superheros have lost their parents. Superman. Barry Allen. The list goes on and on. None react to those deaths the way that Batman reacted to his parents dying. It destroyed him. He never got over it. He felt that pain so deeply in a way that only an INFJ would understand. Batman didn’t become a superhero because he has super powers. He used that pain from his parents’ death as the impetus for becoming a superhero. To be clear, it wasn’t LOGIC that drove him to become the Bat, it was FEELING. And few people are capable of feeling to the depths that INFJs can. INFJs are notorious brooders. So is Batman. You can’t brood if you’re not emotional. INFJs feel an enormous amount of responsibility for the world’s problems. They suffer from a massive savior complex. Coupled with that complex comes an insane amount of guilt. The guilt and responsibility that Batman feels is overwhelming in his comic book history. Look at his relationship with Harvey Dent/Two Face. The amount of guilt he feels for not being able to save his friend is one of the key themes regarding that character. Batman feels so much guilt for not being able to save his parents, for not being able to save Jason Todd, and countless others. These experiences haunt him. He wants so desperately wants to reform criminals (for example Selina Kyle). Look at the compassion he has offered Mr. Freeze, Clayface, and countless others. He wants to save them. He wants to help them. Read the comics. You will find countless examples of him trying to reform and help the people he fights against. One could write a whole book on that topic alone. INFJs see the world not as it is but as it could be. And they are crazy enough to do something about it. They are dreamers, but unlike most dreamers, they act. INFJs are intense. They take on the problems of the world and carry that on their shoulders. They are self-sacrificing; willing to give up everything for the greater good, including relationships and their own life. He’s willing to be the bad guy if need be if it gets the job done. He takes on everyone’s burdens. INFJs are capable of so much compassion, their ability to feel empathy is a key characteristic. This characteristic people always get wrong about the Batman character. People view him as cold and unfeeling (more about this later), but they’re wrong. Batman has so much compassion. Look at all of the kids he has adopted or taken under his wing: Dick, Jason, Tim, Stephanie, Barbara. The list goes on and on. He’s like the Angelina Jolie of the DC universe! Look at the way he counsels Superman regarding his relationship with Superboy. Again, note how desperately he tries to reform people. He believes that people change. He has faith. He’s an optimist in so many more ways than we give him credit. That being said, INFJs don’t always make the best mentors. They are perfectionists that have insanely high expectations for themselves and anyone they care about. This constant pushing for more can backfire on the INFJ in a mentorship position and make the relationships with their mentees a bit rocky. When INFJs become stressed they revert to their tertiary function. In many ways they become what looks like an unbalanced ESTP (their opposite). They become very much about the present. This means indulging in sensory type behaviors: sex, food, exercise or physical fighting. I’ve seen some arguments that Batman can’t be an INFJ because he goes around punching people.
But INFJs can be very physical and carnal when angry, stressed, or off balanced. The INFJ that doesn’t adequately deal with the overflow of emotions can be explosive with their anger. When an INFJ is too overwhelmed with feelings or the weight of their responsibilities, they can actually turn off their compassion or empathy and become very cold, unfeeling, and judgmental. It’s a defense mechanism to deal with the insane amount of feelings trapped in their bodies. INFJs have a dark side that is terrifying. Google INFJ dark side to understand what I am talking about. INFJs are passionate about their causes, but always have to be careful about going too far; about falling into that abyss. Thus the endless brooding. INFJs make excellent actors (it’s often a proposed career choice) because of their ability to understand other people. They are adaptable and can play many characters. Bruce Wayne is a good example of this ability. He pretends to be the extrovert, the playboy, the rich brat. But its not who he is; it’s a mask. The Batman is his true form. INFJs run by their own moral code. They make their decisions ultimately using their powerful intuition or gut feeling. Batman follows his hunches. And he’s usually right. That’s what makes him such a great detective. INFJs love logic. They use it all the time. But unlike INTJs, logic is only a useful tool for INFJs, it’s never the end all factor in making split decisions. They use their gut for that. They are also master manipulators and interrogators because they understand people in a way few others can. The list goes on and on, but I think I will stop for now. Like I said, Batman has not always been written consistently over the last 80 years of his existence, so there may be versions of the character that you could argue is an INTJ. But the vast majority of representations of the character in the comics and animated series displays a very well developed INFJ. Final note—I’ve always been fascinated by the relationship between Batman and the Joker. Two sides to the same coin. Truly the inverse of the other. The Joker is indisputably an ESTP. I don’t think anyone argues otherwise (he’s definitely NOT an ESFP). ESTPs love chaos and breaking rules. The idea that Batman and the Joker are mirror opposites of each other is poignant. I feel it describes them so well, all the more reason why a well written Batman is an INFJ.

whats ur mbti personality type?
Don't know. I don't respect pseudoscience and it stops being innocent fun when those who do tend to use it as a tool to condemn otherwise good and average people. But, I'll do the test and properly answer the question. I'm a "Logician" (INTP-T).

I can promise you I'm not innovative, thirsty for knowledge, or like being unconventional.

The Sexual Behavior of the 16 Myers-Briggs Personality Types: Introverts
according to socionics, divided by subtype
[extroverts here]
ISTJ-Si: Erotically sexually inventive; value beauty and aesthetics; will not bare monotony. Know how to introduce the elements of games into relations. Are sensitive yet inclined to apathy; need a moderately reasonable and lenient partner capable of rich fantasy and variable behaviors.
ISTJ-Te: Doubt their feelings and yet are erotically daring and initiative taking. Think more of their partner’s sensations than of their own; strives for new sexual techniques. Need an optimistically disposed person capable of encouraging them and being absorbed by interesting prospects.
ISFJ-Si: They are very sexual, inventive and diverse in their intimate plans. Although appearing soft, they persistently display initiative in the approach. They need someone capable of winning their respect and admiration through uncommon abilities – these will aid for a long time in preserving their interest.
ISFJ-Fe: Values frequent sexual contacts. Frequently inconstant in their feelings, but very attentive to those whom they love. ISTP-Ti: Often show concern about their partner and provide them with pleasant gifts and trifles. Their partner should yield to their persuasions and strive to satisfy all of their requirements.
ISTP-Se: Thoughtful and initiative-taking in care, but uniform in the erotic. Know how to make compliments and establish close contact. Need a sexual, emotional, and romantic partner, whom does not find them boring; a flexible diplomat who knows how to discharge their emotions and is an easily appeased and forgiving person.
ISFP-Fi: Capable of taking initiative if their partner finds it difficult, but only if partner will confidently reciprocate. Have many concealed complexes, which they find difficult to free themselves from; because of these they may seem cold in regards to their erotic feelings. Require both romantic and practical proofs of love, and an emotionally confident partner.
ISFP-Se: In relations they are tactful and attempt to fulfill the desires of their partner. Need a partner that’s not overly demanding; they should be economic and aid in the creation of comfort, order and welfare. Partner should be responsive to their pleasures but more so to their attachments; otherwise they may possibly break relations, ignoring any compromises.
INFJ-Ni: Romantic, elevate themselves in feelings and dream about a great and prolonged love. Appear sexually timid, but their aim is for sexual harmony and the reaching of spiritual and physical perfection. Require a volitional, decisive, active and energetic partner, who possesses feelings of humor and inspiring confidence.
INFJ-Fe: Strongly emotional and they express their emotions easily. Are coquettish, enticing, and dress with taste. Know how to provoke their partner’s initiative. Love sexual games and prolonged preparations. Need a strong, loyal, practical, sensitive and initiative-taking partner; and sufficient support in their lives.
INFP-Fi: Erotically are yielding and shy, await the initiative of another; unpredictable and predisposed to fantasies, inclined to improve sexual relations. Needs a partner who is economic, practical, precise, concrete in words and able to interpret the intentions of others. Honest, they desire a partner with a strong nature that commands a feeling of debt.
INFP-Ne: Aim for aesthetics, harmony and perfection in sex. Wounded, they greatly depend on the emotional state of whom they love. Require proofs of love; need someone initiative taking, optimistic and confident in their self and feelings. In sexual life are slaves of their partner’s demands.
INTJ-Ni: Erotically act somewhat unsure, over-anxious and careful. Need prolonged care or sexual preparation; may somewhat “torment” their object of affection in order to achieve greater emotional incandescence. Need an optimistic and diplomatic partner, who knows how to persuade and is capable of scattering self-doubts. Tendency to await initiative from others.
INTJ-Te: Give freedoms to partner but does not appreciate extremes and will try to stabilize relations. Enjoy emotional preparation and different sexual techniques. Need a partner who encourages their private ventures; a volitional practical person who strengthens the family/household’s welfare.
INTP-Ti: Desire constant stable relations. Find it difficult to display initiative with contacts, however, this difficulty fades when they are confident with their feelings. Attracted to those that reach for them through pleasant food, comfort, sexual initiative, concern for their health and fulfillment of their requirements.
INTP-Ne: Attentive and internally emotional partners. Willing to take the sexual initiative, but also careful and farsighted. Erotically are affectionate and tender; aiming for new impression. Intimate relations require more than trust and sincere concern, need variety in sex in order to raise their moods.
