Hey, I'm Tea!

I'm a 29-year-old hobbyist writer wading my way into the TADC fandom after lurking on the fringes for awhile. This sideblog will be a place to promote my fics, post headcanons, and discuss episodes as they air. I adore Pomni (as much as I enjoy making her suffer) and most of my content will center around her.

Too many to count, but currently Hermitcraft/Life series. Previously it was Undertale, Omori and Osomatsu San

Oh how I try… but fail. I'm sorry.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Uhhhhh. That's a good question. Maybe Missing, an Osomatsu San fic about Karamatsu dying. 

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

That's hard too. I write a lot of angst. Lots of my short fics are fluffy and have good endings. I can't think of one thats like super happy. 

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Yeah. Some of my Omori fics for reasons I don't understand. At one point I had one person really harassing me about it. I don't know why honestly. 

9. Do you write smut?

Yeah. Most of my highest kudos fics on hcsf are smut, if the fuc title "Dick Measuring Contest" is any hint lmao

10. Do you write crossovers?

Sure do! Mostly Mob Psycho 100/Osomatsu San. But there are other, much stranger things 

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not really. I've had some really close plagiarism, in which someone took my exact idea, but thats not really stealing. I was mad that there were comments on the other fic saying it was the best thing they ever read when it was a copy of my work, but eh... On Wattpad someone stole my story from reddit, but that particular story has been stolen and it's everywhere. It shows up a bunch in those YouTube videos where people read reddit posts too. That's not a fic and I'm not that upset since they usually credit me.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yup! One Undertale fic and one Omori fic. There might be others, but those ones I know for sure!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope and I wouldn't do that. I can't write like that.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

I dunno. I like a lot of things. I guess TotoNyaa and Scarian 

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

I have about 50. I don't think I'll finish any of them. There's an Undertale fic and an Omori fic I want to finish but I don't have time. Sigh.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Writing fast. I have no lack of ideas.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Grammar. I write too fast and forget words. I get lazy and I don't edit things or polish them like I should 

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

Nah. It's confusing for the reader. If someone is speaking another language I either translate it in the text or if the Narrator doesn't understand I just say that.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Marble Hornets

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

A Game of Love. It's also by far my most popular fic so I'm happy that others like it too!

uhh including WIPs right now im mostly writing for stranger things, which got the most fics in progress, but also legend of zelda (botw/totk specifically), jak and daxter, dangan ronpa (mainly dr1 and nvdr3)

5. Do you respond to comments?

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

hm well for completed ones id have to say 'i'm supposed to take care of you', but including planned wips i dont know whether 'all these shadows' or 'wavelength' has more angst. theres also an ndrv3 fic in the works thats pretty downer

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

i think Moonlight is pretty hopeful!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

nah, usually me and my writing keep to ourselves

yeah, once or twice

y'know i havent really dabbled much in crossovers!

nope! ive been meaning to translate some of them into spanish tho

i tried a couple of times but it fell apart pretty quickly. dont think ill be trying again

iiiii do not have one because i really dont care that much about ships tbh. at least theres nothing that immediately comes to mind

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

hmmm well. little red carp was a fun fic to write but i dont see myself getting interested in it again

16. What are your writing strengths?

people tell me im very good at character voices and personality! which i appreciate! im also good at visualizing my stories and writing action scenes!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

planning! im always getting tripped up by how to get from point a to point b and i always get stuck with the details! its the worst!

but i cant exactly pants a story either bc im always thinking "oh what if i take the story THIS direction" and then i end up having to go back and rewrite a lot of sections

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

writing in spanish is veeery weird compared to writing in english. i cant get the grammar to cooperate with me as much, and it always makes me feel like a kindergartner trying to use words they just learned to cobble together their first story

i usually try not to bother translating for languages i don't know. or do some research first. mostly i rely on either not giving context or just writing what theyre really saying "in italics like this"

19. First fandom you wrote for?

uhhh. balto i think. as in the 1995 animated film balto. i was obsessed with that film

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

i think wavelength! just because of how much fun i am having thinking of the dynamics and Plot Things that are going to happen. a lot of it is a mishmash of what-ifs? and things i thought were going to happen in stranger things itself but didnt

I love that even though he's a creature of the night, he's still so sensitive and able to get his feelings hurt so easily. Also I was telling this to @mysterygreentea about how I love when Choromatsu ends up being a rock for his brothers (even though they abuse the privilege lol).

Will also just comment on how very haute couture it feels to have Karamatsu carry an umbrella out while in the sun. Which I know technically makes sense for a vampire...but it tickles me lol

definitely alright, I love our Chorobun to the depth and breadth and whatnot~

👓: For characters who wear glasses! (Whether it’s all the time or just for certain activities.) Have they ever managed to sneeze their glasses askew? Or sneeze them completely off their face? Alternatively: if the character doesn’t wear glasses! If they were to wear glasses, would their sneezes be strong enough to knock them off their face?

💚 Choromatsu is... a big yes with this, as if there was any doubt. His sneezes are just so forceful, if he's got his glasses on whilst sneezing, they probably won't stay perfectly perched. Though, there's some wiggle room, because when he stifles, even if it's a bunch in a row, he tends to only knock his glasses off balance. (This did happen a lot when he was like 18, because he tended to stifle more readily then, but it still does happen if he's wearing glasses while stifling his sneezes.)

Nowadays he's trying not to stifle as much (particularly after he broke a damn rib doing it), though that has the added effect of letting out all the force... which, if he's wearing his glasses, might send them flying. Thankfully they've never landed anywhere that broke them! Another reason not to wear his glasses if he can help it...

🤕: What kind of symptoms do they really not like? Whether it’s illness or allergies, what symptoms just bother them more than anything else? Is there anything they can do to alleviate those symptoms, or does nothing work?

When it comes to illness, he really, really isn't a fan of coughing, which is unfortunate because a cough tends to linger and be the last thing to go away. It's thanks to his asthma making him a little paranoid, that a tickle will keep going and blossom into a full attack, which always scares him. So he'll take cough drops or throat spray or cough syrup as often as he can without overdosing, and even though it's not a miracle, it does help temporarily.

As for allergies... he hates, hates, hates the watery, itchy eyes that come along with hayfever. He hates it especially when he's wearing contacts, because if it starts while he's wearing contacts, he usually has to take them out since it's just unbearable. Often using some eye drops (either simple saline artificial tears or the kind that are branded as 'allergy relief' eye drops) at least takes the edge off; might make his eyes water a little more, but it does wonders for that itchy, gritty feeling which bothers him more than anything else.

🍲: What do they like to eat while they’re sick? Do they like soup, or would they prefer something that isn’t “sick person food”? Do they lose their appetite when they’re sick, or are they hungrier than usual?

Choromatsu is pretty traditional when it comes to what he eats when he's sick. Mostly because he knows it usually helps, and he often doesn't feel like eating 'real' food because he loses his appetite a bit when he doesn't feel well. Soup for sure, whether it's canned stuff or plan miso, and also kayu. There's also a rice soup called zosui that he likes sometimes, if he has enough appetite to want something a little more flavorful; as long as he can actually taste it, he usually likes that with egg and a little soy sauce. Mostly he tries to stick to bland things that won't bother his stomach. (He's also been known to mix rice into canned soup, to have something a little more substantial without making him feel too full.)

(this reminds me that in high school I dated someone who would just eat tomatoes like apples, and they went to a different school. so sometimes their school ended before mine, and they’d just. come stand in my classroom and eat a tomato in the corner. they were very odd, but it’s hard to be normal and date me XD )

Quiver - what’s something they do that makes the other flustered? For choro - ren is very verbally affectionate in place of being super touchy, and he tends to use a wide range of nicknames ranging anywhere from “goofyass” to “babe”. sometimes he’ll refer to choro as cute/cutie/pretty boy and that lays choro flat out every single time. he Cannot Handle The It for ren - choro also isnt super touchy when it comes to affection either, and hes a bit too shy at first for any sort of PDA, though in private hes more than happy to run his fingers through rens hair casually n scratch his scalp which has ren in a puddle every single time Touchy - do they like PDA? How do they like to cuddle? neither strikes me as being super lovey in public, even if the confidence to do so is there :’3 sometimes theres a small peck on the cheek, or linking arms when its a little more appropriate, but theyre totally fine as they are. as for cuddling! heeheehoo. choro gives Such Vibes of being someone who enjoys being Squished and layed on (big bonding activity for him and ichi) so hes all for ren curling up on top of him on the couch while they watch movies or using him as his personal body pillow if theyre in bed

I hope this is the right way to submit my request and I hope I covered the rules well enough but...I would like to request an sfw letter from Choro. As far as context, maybe just a sweet just-because type letter about how much he loves me...but also if it’s alright to add this, maybe with some words of comfort/encouragement because I’ve been having sort of a rough time with anxiety lately. 11. Ever cosplayed a character/dream cosplay?

I really want to cosplay Princess Daisy one day~ And back when the first season of ososan was out, I wanted to cosplay Jyushiko but it was just because I kinda looked like her easily.

17. A show you used to love but eventually hated or vice-versa.

Hopefully it never happened...? Or I just kinda grow out of it and find flaws/quality into them but never at the point to totally change my opinion.
