HELLO, I'm gonna rewrite mcd, I'm not sure if anybody will see this post but I really hope so. 🙏 My rewrite will be very close to cannon but I am of course fixing any and all plotholes and adding a few minor headcannons >:) I've wanted to rewrite it for soooo long but never felt like I had any good reason to, UNTIL I met my bsf and recently discovered that I HAVE to make him love mcd. I know he won't watch the actual show tho and he loves reading so this is my way to make him do it.

Anyways, if you like fantasy, gays, long lore filled stories, please read!! I purposefully made this rewrite in a way that people can read it and get the full experience without having to watch the crappy mc vids! YAY.

M!Reader : Lucinda can't do magic anymore, Zane lost the ability to say people's names, Aaron is blind and lost his memory of all of us, Garroth is a wolf now, The ultima is real, Aphmau is also a wolf now, Travis and his dad is a descendant of a demon warlock, We were all being hunted down by guardian forces, the entire starlight wonderland had to be locked up so all of the people There can't go home, we all almost lost our life, Aphmau and Travis can't come back home for awhile because they're gonna be interrogated, me and Lucinda had to fight a mind controlled Katelyn, we all had to fight the demon warlock who took over Travis body, saves everyone on starlight wonderland and the whole world, I have a broken arm and all of us possibly have trauma now.....

What if I told you that if I had the choice to live in any house I wanted I would choose a house built for a roleplay in Minecraft in 2015 for the aesthetic.

Aaron is such a controversial character within the Aphmau community. The community itself isn't as controversial other than the existence of Aaron Lycan. (And the ships ig)

I've never watched MCD because 3 eps in and I found it too boring to continue. So I'm only covering MyStreet and PDH. (And additionally FCU)

I can see the development of this character throughout the whole series but it's just- executed in a bad way. And also the fact his character only consists of : ultima, fuck my parents, and omg aphmau.

I think over the course of MyStreet season 5 we get to see more of the relationship between Aaron and his family(especially Melissa) and I enjoyed watching the change in their bond, but other than his family issues and his love for aphmau, I don't really see much of him as a character. It's like his personality is just.. Daddy issues and my girlfriend.

PDH was.. something. It was enemies to lovers but make the female protag have multiple other guys swooning over her which honestly have more chemistry than the male protag. The whole FC and Shu thing is cute and all- but just seems like a bit of a stretch like a 2018 wattpad fanfic.

FCU, again, was just us seeing more of Aaron's daddy issues(I don't think his mom played a role in this) and his absolute obsession over Aphmau.

I can't help but see a lot of potential for Aaron as a character, and I wished we could've seen more to him rather than what we have on screen.

Either way, I am still biased over Aaron simply because Jason's voice acting is superb in the MyStreet series.

super informal interest check but would anyone be interested in a closed aphverse roleplay group?

general information below the cut:

— "closed" meaning anyone interested in joining must apply for a character and, once accepted, may only interact with affiliated blogs (this rule may be dismissed depending on the size of the group).

— mains cannot be used, all blogs must be dedicated to roleplaying (meaning i cannot use my personal mye-chi blog i'd need to create a new one.)

— characters have breathing room for interpretation and, with permission, details may be changed or omitted (ex. you may change kawaii~chan's name, de-age mystreet aaron, rewrite ghost's harassment, etc.)

— currently, you are allowed two muses, no doubles, and different versions of the characters count as different muses (meaning seperate people can play mcd and mys garroth.) roleplayers are free to take on more muses depending on their activity

— ocs, au canonical characters (ex. mcd teony, mystreet zoey), and crossovers between roleplays will be allowed

— the group would be low-stress, beginner-friendly, no age limit, and would offer monthly starters + group events

MYSTREET HEADCANONS

Some headcanons that I thought up while laying sick in bed. Part 1/??

Travis, Dante, Laurence, Garroth

FRIENDSHIP

Dante and Travis tend to be the cause of chaos when they're together, of course not all chaos is linked to them- but it's still quite funny. Their friendship has known no bounds ever since they met.

To add perspective on this, Dante and Travis are most definitely the funniest people to be around, as they're usually up to mischief when it comes to the ladies.

Garroth and Laurence are definitely a more mellowed out group. They get up to shenanigans sometimes, but not nearly as much as Travis and Dante. They've been friends since high school, and it shows.

When the four of them are together, there is never a dull moment. Their personalities intermingle well, and they always have a good time.

THE MUSIC VIBES

Laurence is definitely a fan of musicals, and he loves Heathers the Musical.

Laurence listens to songs written by Ayesha Erotica, and similar artists. He feels like it's empowering, and honestly it fits his vibe, as the gossip girl friend.

He listens mostly to songs such as Where U @? by Ayesha Erotica, and XOXO (Kisses, hugs) by 6arelyhuman.

Garroth tries to get into musicals with Laurence to try and spend time with him, but he doesn't really understand the appeal of them. He's more of a movie guy, and he watches mostly action movies.

Garroth's taste in music, however- varies from day to day. Sometimes its a Classic Rock kind of day, other times it could be Country.

The artists that he listens to usually are when it comes to classic rock are The Beatles and Queen. For country he listens to artists Carrie Underwood and Luke Combs.

Travis partakes in plays, performs in musicals and has been a theater kid since his high school days. As for listening to musicals, he definitely loves listening to the Phantom of The Opera.

Outside of musicals, Travis listens to a lot of Indie Pop, Pop music and sometimes he dips his toes into the alternative genre if he's feeling froggy.

Some of the artists he would listen to include: Khai Dreams, The Front Bottoms, Weezer, Bastille, and Paramore.

Dante listens to a select few musicals, and his absolute favorite is Ride the Cyclone. Travis has tried to get Dante to perform in musicals before, but to no avail. Dante would rather watch them, than be in them.

Dante's taste in regular music, is definitely Alternative music. He listens to a lot of Pop music as well.

Some artists he listens to include: Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Set it Off, Get Scared, and Hollywood Undead.

Analyzing Ein.

I despise Ein wholeheartedly simply because of the mayhem he's caused the characters in MyStreet. But regardless I think Ein has more character depth than Aaron.

It sucks to admit because I love Aaron(Jason as a voice actor simply. You gotta love his voice.) But damnn Aaron's character has like zero depth. His whole personality is just 'Oh no my eyes' 'I have daddy issues' and 'I'm obsessed over aphmau'

EIN ON THE OTHER HAND >>>

Now let's analyze Ein starting from PDH s2 :)

Before he moved to PDH, he was from a Western wolf tribe. There, he was an Omega and we can assume he was bullied and didn't have it easy there. That's why when Aphmau, literally the FEMALE ALPHA, started being nice to him, he started to develop a small little crush.

I personally think, and still think he wasn't using Aph to his advantage to become Alpha Male. He was probably just overwhelmed by the affection he felt from Aph given his past. However I can't help but feel like the whole thing was just the tiniest bit rushed.

But then after he became alpha male he probably felt a sense of power that he'd never felt before, driving him to go all 'yeah you all suck bow to me peasants'

Throughout MyStreet s4, Ein had gotten a lot more evil. We don't know what happened to him during the times when he was off-screen during MyStreet s1-s3 but like- dude. Chill. Youre trying to kill everyone simply because Aaron beat you up, you didn't get to be with Aph, and you got kicked out of Pdh, losing your title of alpha in the process.

By the end of s6, Ein was no longer as relevant other than to anger Aaron and create drama and plot.

I also really wanted to point out that Ein likes blue. It's not relevant but-

I personally don’t give a shit about Mystreet. I stopped watching at the start of Emerald Secret cuz it was such a tone switch from the other seasons like the other seasons was goofy romance drama slice of life n then Emerald Secret happened and….. yeaahhhhhh. I tried to force myself to finish it i really did I just couldn’t i hated it sm I still hate it. Mystreet before Emerald was just something I’d watch casually when I felt like it but it just stopped being good. Like i i i i just. Nah. It went into the same catagory ad Aphmau’s fnaf and side stories for me like i just didnt care
