how about dark!logan and ex-girlfriend human reader. They broke up bcs she thought he was cheating on her, but turns out it was just misunderstanding and now dark!logan gets jealous that she already moved on from her
note: this story was an emotional roller coaster, but that’s how we like it. we love a bit of chaos and overreaction.
in this story, Logan is pretty emotional whether that’s him being sad at first or turning into a wild animal once he gets y/n back. of course, his jealousy is mentioned when he FUCKS y/n. he HATED how close she was to a man while he was being ignored.

“We’re done, Logan, and that’s that,” Y/n said before she walked away from the man. “Y/n! — Hey!” The man stalked after her, confused about where this attitude came from.
“You’re not going to just break up with me, and walk away without an explanation!” The man said as he sped in front of her to stop her in her tracks.
“You get no explanation, just like I didn’t. I’ve been confused, hurt, upset, and left for months! You can deal with it for the rest of your life,”
That was the last time y/n had talked to Logan. The young woman packed her stuff at night so she wouldn’t cause a scene, and left.
Y/n feels off about being here again. It’s been a year, and she hasn’t quite talked to anyone since then. Of course, Charles would speak to her through her thoughts, but at times, she shut him out.
Hank, Storm, and Jean try to invite her to parties or get-togethers, thinking she’d maybe come one day, but she never does. She was in a whole new state in those times.
Scott on the other hand messaged her every day he could. Apart from her thoughts he only wanted to get close to her, to get at Logan from past jealousy, but in actuality, he genuinely liked her company.
The man texted her every day, even called and somehow, she’d answer him. Scott felt special that out of everyone, she’d answer him.
Logan was the only one in the group that had no contact with y/n. She had blocked the man anytime a new number or social media account popped up. He was desperate, and she hated it. She hated him.
“Charles said you were coming. Didn’t believe it until now,” Scott said as he walked out of the mansion, instantly picking y/n up into a hug. “Did you get stronger?” Y/n laughed after the man placed her down. “You can say that,”
“Y/n!?” Storm shouted before her, Hank and Jean ran over to her, giving her a group hug. For a second, she felt bad for leaving them all behind, but after Logan, she had to go somewhere. She couldn’t stay around anymore.
“How long are you staying?” Hank asked as he grabbed her bags, as well as Scott's. “Maybe a night or two,” she replied making them all sigh. “Seriously!? You can’t leave us like that. Not again,” Jean spoke.
Y/n didn’t hate Jean, but when she looked at the woman, she felt pain. It wasn’t her fault that Logan couldn’t put aside his feelings.
“Maybe I’ll stay long,” Y/n said before walking into the mansion. Storm and Jean drifted off to finish whatever they were doing while Hank and Scott took her to her room. Her old room that she hadn’t really slept in since she used to be with Logan all the time.
“Logan will be here. He went out to get wood,” Hank said before he left. “You okay with being back? You never really told us why you did,” Scott spoke after y/n sat down on her bed.
“Oh, just some personal things going on. That’s it,” she said. “Heard you haven’t talked to Logan. Was he the reason why you left?” He asked as he sat next to the young lady. He knew it was, but didn’t know why.
“I don’t really feel like talking about it or him. I kinda don’t even wanna see him,” y/n said, making Scott chuckle. “I feel you on that, but Logan’s crushed. I hate the man, but I also hate to see a teammate distracted,”
Scott got up and walked towards her room door, ready to get back to what he was doing. “Think about it, because my motorcycle just pulled up,” Scott said before leaving.
Y/n sighed, knowing Logan was going to make his way straight up here. She didn’t know how he’d react. She didn’t know how she’d react. What will she possibly do or say?
Y/n said in silence for only a couple of minutes before her door opened. He had pushed it open, not believing she was here until he saw her.
“Y/n,” he said before rushing over to her. The man dropped to his knees and hugged the girl tightly. His face hurried into her stomach as tears streamed down his face. She was really here.
“Logan,” y/n softly pushed at his shoulders, but he wouldn’t let go. He didn’t want to. It’s been a year, and he’s traveled to so many places, hoping to find her, but she was never there.
“Lo,” she spoke again, and this time, he pulled away. His hands rose to her face and cupped both of her cheeks. “I-It’s been so long,” the man looked into her eyes, making her feel like shit.
The man who couldn’t give her any attention gave it to her a year later. How dare he make her feel like this?
“Yeah — It has,” she softly pulled his hands away from his wrist. The man’s face changed from, I’m so happy you’re finally here, too, what’s going on? She’s never been this way towards him until that night. The last night he saw her.
“I’m kinda tired, so, yeah,” she spoke, wanting him away from her and out of her sight. “D-Don’t go to sleep without me, lemme get a shower in then I’ll-“ he stood up and walked towards the door, but the woman cut him off. “No,” she said with a stern voice.
“I like being alone,” she added. The man looked back at her, confused about why his girlfriend was acting this way. “Baby, what’s up with you? I-I thought that maybe since you came back, fixed whatever was going on with you,” Logan said in a soft voice.
“Whatever what going on with me!? God, Logan — Please, the fuck out,” y/n rolled her eyes. “Y/n, I didn’t mean it like-“ he tried explaining himself. “I said get the fuck out!” She yelled at the man.
Logan’s body jumped slightly, shocked at the way she was being. He didn’t know what was wrong, and she refused to tell him. It’s been a year, and she still hasn’t told him.
Logan opened his mouth, but the girl turned around and tucked herself under her covers. She was done seeing him for tonight. For the rest of the time she planned to stay here.
“Been a while since you’ve partied with us. Kinda missed that,” Scott said after he took a shot with y/n. “Yeah — I kind of missed it too,” she admitted with a smile. “Wanna dance?” The man asked in a friendly way, and she accepted.
The two went on the dance floor, dancing wide by wide for a while until he grabbed her hips. They both laughed with each other, having the most fun she’s had in a year.
“God, I’ve missed you, y/n. Texting and calling ain’t enough, you know? Maybe you should come visit me or I’ll come visit you,” he suggested. “I’ll think about it,” she smiled.
As Scott and y/n hugged it out on the floor, Logan couldn’t help but stop it. The man pushed off of the tree he was leaning back on in the distance and sped over to the two.
The man was close, about to ruin whatever the fuck they had going on, but y/n pulled away and said something to the man before she left.
Logan stopped in his tracks and watched her walk off to the side of the party. She got on her phone and began texting.
“Might stay with family for another night. I’ll be back to work soon,”
“So — How’s your night going?” Logan asked, making y/n turn around as she placed her phone in her pocket. Looking at the man in front of him felt different. When she first got here, the man looked warm out.
He had grown the beard but didn’t take care of it, his face looked dirty like he hadn’t washed it, his eyes were baggy, and she swore his body looked less fit, but not too much. Only she’d notice it…
“Can you not just fuck off? For once, Logan! Fuck!” Y/n shouted at the man who came up to her with two cups. He noticed she’d been drinking for the past few days, and even though he hated it when she did, he still brought one of the lighter drinks to maybe get close to her.
“But why? You won’t talk to me. You won’t even look at me. I-I don’t understand, y/n,” Logan’s voice cracked as he walked after y/n through the woods. “I’m goin’ to bed. Gotta leave early tomorrow,” the woman had instantly changed her mind about staying.
“W-What!?” Logan basically screamed. She hadn’t even been here for a week. She hadn’t spoken to him unless she yelled at him. She was going to leave him. Again.
“Y/n, stop it!” The man shouted as he threw the two cups to the ground and ran in front of her to stop her in her tracks. Last time, that didn’t stop her from leaving, but he’ll make sure it does this time.
“Logan — Get the fuck out of my way,” she said as she moved to the side, but before she could go any further, he grabbed her arm tightly. The man slowly grew angry, but still had all that sad emotion running through his heart.
“N-No — I-I’m not gonna let you talk to Storm, talk to Jean, talk to Hank a-and dance on Scott and leave without talking to me!” The man’s eyes teared up again.
“Well, I don’t wanna talk to you, so,” y/n went to pull away, but he tightened his grip. She was human, and he knew that grip would hurt, but he couldn’t let her go again. Not without an explanation, and even if she gave a damn good one, he wasn’t letting her out of his sight again.
“Logan, ow!” She shouted at the man, now slapping his arm. “Stop it — Stop it, y/n!” He yelled in her face, letting a deep growl escape his mouth.
“Y-You’re not leaving! — I-I’m not letting you go again, so, like— So what if you hate me now? So what i-if you don’t wanna date me anymore? Y-You don’t have to leave though,”
“Logan-“ y/n tried saying. “No! You’re not gonna fuckin’ talk to Scott, and not me!” The man finally let her arm go with a push. The look on his face made sure she knew he was angry, but all she could do was roll her eyes.
“You’re a dick, you know? All you care about is me talking to Scott, but nothing else. What about what you did, huh? What about what you did!” Y/n grew angry. “You won’t tell me what I did!” Logan shouted.
“Because you should already know! Why do I have to tell my boyfriend, now ex-boyfriend that giving another woman more attention than me, is a problem!? Why!? That’s not my place to if you’re a real man, and clearly — You’re not!”
Y/n nudged Logan’s shoulder as she walked by, but instantly got grabbed and pushed against a tree. The man held her upper arm, not letting her go anywhere.
“What the fuck are you talking about, babe? Ian never gives no other woman my attention. Not one! I-I’ve only thought about you for the past year!”
“Oh, is that true? Then why before I finally dumped your ass, Hank blabbered to me that you and Jean, your ex-kissing toy, by the way, were going on a secret mission?” Y/n finally asked.
“Oh, oh- And tell me why he also said that you choose to go on mission with her, instead of me. Tell me that! Tell me why you can’t tell me that you’re going on missions with your ex!” Y/n yelled in the man’s face with no tears in her eyes. Just full of anger.
“Baby, I — Baby, Hank wasn’t supposed to tell you-“ Logan went to say, but y/n cut him off with a wild scream as she shook her whole body. She was furious and wanted him out of her face.
“Of course, he wasn’t, you dumb bitch! Because you’re a cheating son of a bitch! A fuckin’ dumb, damn good-looking, manipulative cheater!”
“Baby, no, no- That’s not what I am. You never even asked me what was going on, you just-“ he got cut off again. “I left! I fucking left because I have no business being with a manwhore who can’t keep his dick in his beer-printed dollar tree boxers!”
Logan softly pulled y/n off of the tree and slamming her back to shut her up. “God, y/n, what the fuck — You-You can’t even let me get a sentence out without disrespecting or interrupting me,” he said. “I thought you loved those boxers,”
Y/n chuckled to herself as a tear finally slipped from her eye. “I did — That was before you decided to throw that all away,” the way she looked at him with no type of love in her eyes, broke his heart. And she had her story all wrong.
“If I wasn’t enough, why couldn’t you just tell me? Let me go and let me live my life instead of thinking someone actually loved me. Y-You say you’re not like any human I’ve dated, but you’re are. You’re like them all,”
“Hey!” Logan’s hands gripped around y/n’s neck, upset at her words. “Don’t fuckin’ disrespect me like that — Especially since you got your story all flipped and fucked up,” the man still had cracks in his voice. He was left for a year, all because of caring for y/n.
“I wasn’t fucking cheating on you. Those secret missions were days I’d leave with Jean and Storm which I bet he forgot to mention because he didn’t know you’d react like that — to go find me and you a new home to live in,”
“For months I’ve been trying to find a nice house away from people because I know how much you like being alone. I just needed woman’s help because I suck when it comes to that shit,”
Y/n’s heart rate began to slow down, and her eyes softened at his side of the story. She couldn’t think about what she’d done and caused, but she knew it was bad when her head felt light.
“As for the picking Jean to go on missions? That was shitty of me, but my excuse is that I didn’t want my girlfriend fighting fights she didn’t have to,”
“What the fuck so I look like having you come fight mutants when you’re not a mutant? Jean is one of the strongest mutants, so I chose her. Storm has to teach the kids, Hank never leaves the lab, and god knows Ian pickin’ Scott,”
“And y/n — You’re a teacher too, so why the fuck would I pull you away from what you love doing just to fight and risk your life? I rather thee others do that, then you, Bub,”
Y/n hasn’t heard that nickname in a year. Bub. She missed and, and he knew how much he missed it when she instantly began crying.
“Hey, hey,” Logan lifted the girl back to her feet after her legs gave out on her. “I’m sorry!” She cried out, fully knowing the situation, and understanding how shitty she is for leaving without asking.
“I-I thought I was helping myself, but I wasn’t! I-I hurt you and the others a-and I’m just a bad person!” She sobbed into his chest.
“Baby, no. Don’t think that way about yourself. I understand how you thought about what you did, baby. Don’t push yourself down for that,” the man pulled her head back and rubbed her tears away.
“Just make it up by staying. All that pain I felt of you ignoring me and being away from my arms are all gone away, you know why? Because you’re here right now. In front of my face looking as beautiful as you were last year,”
“I’m just so sorry, Logan,” Y/n looked down, but the man quickly lifted her chin back up. “Nah uh — we’re not feeling like this anymore. I have a lot to make up for,” the man rubbed the girl's bottom lip, happy that she was finally with him again.
“Gonna look back into those homes, and get ‘em ready for us, baby,” Logan used his free hand to trace down her body until he gripped her waist. “And then you’ll never be able to leave me again. Gonna be just us. No one else,”
Logan's lips finally touched hers, making his heart rate rise. It’s been so long, and his lips are finally back on his girl. His future.
Y/n lazily kissed back, tears still running down her cheek. The girl pulled back a few times to catch her breath, but Logan would instantly reattach their lips. He needed to taste her forever.
“C’mon, stop movin, baby,” Logan hungrily sucked on her lips, even slipping his tongue in her mouth to feel her inner cheeks. “Please, baby,” the man spoke, but y/n couldn’t grow that instant energy. She was still human.
“Baby,” Logan pulled back and looked down at his girlfriend. “Don’t fuckin’ make me wait any longer. I need you, so please fuckin’ stay still,” he demanded before leaning to go back in, but she stopped him by placing her hands on his chest.
“Give me a second, babe — Please,” she looked up at the man, but he couldn’t. “You didn’t give Scott a second,” the man said in a stern voice. “What!? — Baby, I’ve never kissed him,” she assured.
“Well, you were close. Too close, and you know how I feel about him,” Logan’s hands gripped both sides of y/n’s waist, digging his nails into the pretty little dress she wore for the night.
“You were mad at me and went straight to Scott. You fuckin’ knew that would piss me off,” y/n pushed at her taken-back boyfriend, trying to get his grip to loosen, but it never did.
“Yeah, I’ve been sad, baby. So fuckin’ sad, but the only thing I could think about was showing you who the fuck you talked to that night,” the man thought back to the day she left him.
“I heard them talk about being in touch with you — Every day y/n? Really? Textin’ that son of a bitch every day, but can’t shoot me a lil like on my message!?” Logan finally pulled his hands off of y/n’s waist, taking her dress with him.
“Logan!” The girl shouted in shock as she held the breeze on her. “Got me so fuckin’ angry, Bub. I can’t control it. Can’t get out of my head the days you’ve been away from me. The days you text him, and not me,” Logan had sniffed y/n’s neck.
“At least I don’t smell a new man on you. You know what I would’ve done if I did, baby?” The man asked, lips pressed against the girl's neck. “The same shit I’m about to do to you for humping Scott,”
Logan quickly unbuckled his belt and pulled his thick blue jeans down. Y/n opened her mouth to calm the man down, but she didn’t want to. She deserved this. He needed to get his anger out.
Y/n went to jump, but before she did, the man pulled her up himself, quickly pulling her down on his cock until every inch of him was covered.
“L-Lo!” The girl moaned loudly as her feet curled. “Augh, yes!Still fuckin’ tight,” Logan pressed y/n further into the tree as he bucked his hips upward, making sure to bruise her cervix.
The growls he let out on her ear and on her neck, made her heart raise. It was hot, but she was slightly afraid. He was going to break up, but there was nothing she could do about it. She deserved this.
“Don’t ever fuckin’ leave me again. Pretty little sluts like you are in men’s minds all the time. You need me around. Need me to keep you safe and away from them. Even Scott! — If I ever fuckin’ catch you guys eye fuckin’ again — I’ll fuck you in front of him. Make sure he knows how good this pussy’s molded for my cock,”
Logan’s sad emotions were no longer here. The man was full of anger. His girl left him over some stupid-ass miss understanding and then she almost left again after having a sweet ole dance with Scott. Oh — he wasn’t letting this go soon. Not at all.
“I bet when you spoke to him before you left, you told him to come meet you in your room. Such a fuckin’ slut. I knew you had something for that four eyed freak,” Logan’s hips snapped up against y/n’s thighs. She could barely breathe.
“I-I did no such thing,” y/n struggled to get out. “Sure you didn’t. You know you’re a pretty little thing, right? You know you can get whoever you want, and I know you wanted him. I just know it,” Logan’s mind went crazy. The jealousy showed in the man, and he didn’t care.
Logan was nothing like y/n. She left when she thought he cheated, but Logan could never. He’d hold her closer. Lock her up somewhere so she can’t do it again, then kill the guy she cheated on him with. She belonged to him, and him only.
One of Logan’s hands reached up and gripped her neck as he looked into her eyes. His eyes were dark and hers were soft and could barely stay open.
“Ima take you back to your room, and if he knocks and comes in, the sight he’ll see will be buried into his mind just like my cock in that pretty little hole you haven’t let me fuck yet,”
That threat made y/n’s cunt clench. In the back of her mind, she had wished Scott would come to her room for something so Logan could fuck her ass. She was so wet, and that leaked down the crack of her ass, making her feel like she could take him so easily.
“P-Please,” the girl begged, making the man that was fucking her into the tree, chuckle. “Slut likes being fucked in the ass? Bet it’s a virgin ass, and you’re just a dirty little whore,” Logan guessed right.
“So fuckin’ dirty — Came back to ignore me, and now I’m balls deep in your pussy — My pussy — My fuckin’ pussy, baby,” Logan twitched in the grips walls, making her close. She hasn’t felt his seed in months. She needed it.
“S-Such a dirty w-whore, Logan,” y/n admitted in a low and whiny voice. All the crying and hate she had towards the man had faded away. She loved him and never stopped. She just needed a reminder that she could never leave him. Even if she tried, like she did.
“That’s it, baby — My dirty little whore — Fuck,” Logan used a hand to grab the side of her face and pull her into a rough and sloppy kiss. She’s always tasted so damn good.
Both of them moaned in each other's mouths, sweating, breathing heavily, and feeling their climax near. They needed to cum. They needed to few each other cum.
Before they knew it, the woods filled with their moans and groans. The wet sloppy sound of Logan’s cock slipping in and out of her heat could be heard as well.
Anyone who walked by in the distance definitely heard the two, but who cared at this point? All that would do is make Logan feel better because at least then they’d go off and tell people that she really does belong to him.
“Oh, fuck, baby,” the man growled, lips all over hers as he breathed into her mouth. “So fuckin’ full of me, Bub. All filled up and up to date,” the man chuckled with a smile. He missed it. He missed her.
“T-Thank you, baby,” Y/n said low, feeling her vision slowly slip away, but she knew she would be taken care of. She was with Logan again, and he would do anything to make sure she knew she was safe and set for life.

hey sugar how are you? i love you’re fanfics and was wondering if you’d be up to write something along the lines of mutual masturbation with Ethan from Scream 6? i’ve been getting a lot of Ethan brainrots as of late lmfaoo
was thinking about something along the lines of, maybe ethan and the reader are in a relationship, but it’s new and there both shy & awkward about sex, probably haven’t done anything past making out yet (and idk i just hc ethan as a virgin in almost every fanfic i read bc he’s such a nerd and i love when the reader matches his energy so hahah), and maybe he finds her vibrator while snooping around her place and shyly asks her to show him how she gets off?
if your uncomfortable or not up to right it, it’s tots fine! ❤️
Tumblr media
a/n: hi love!! I’m fine, hope you’re fine too! And yes of course, here you go!
when Ethan Landry found out about your vibrator…
Tumblr media
You just recently moved in together, it’s nice having him close, it’s nice sleeping next to him every night, he respects your stuff and your privacy and you respect his, you just weren’t expecting that he would fuss around your stuff, he usually does that, you just don’t know it, he likes to know you’re both fine, that you’re still his, so he likes to check around your stuff, and you usually keep this one drawer locked, this time, it wasn’t, he took that as an opportunity, he just didn’t think he’d find… a vibrator of all sorts.
You’ve kissed before, you’ve even groped each other, but you’ve never had sex, this is new, it makes him flush because he’s not mad, he’s excited, but before he can put it back, you’re already waking in the room.
You don’t know how to question him about it, but you do, you also explain yourself, saying that it’s not his problem, reassuring him you still love him. He freezes, swallows and looks up to you, the toy in his hands, his eyes wide and going down to the buttons before they meet yours.
“I — I’m not mad..” he speaks, he’s more.. curious than angry, taking a deep breath before he speaks. “I just… I wanna see how you do it.”
You’re shocked, your lips part open before you nod, and that’s how you got into the bed, fully naked.
“Just — Just press it on my clit.”
And he does so, places the wand right on you clit and you moan, your hand clenches around his as he holds yours, a shaky sigh leaves you after that.
He’s watching intensely, watching as the slick wets the bedsheets, watching how you clench when he hits a spot you like, watching the way you flush, he likes this, likes watching you and making you feel good, likes to please you.
“What if I just..” he raises the speed before telling you, your hips squirm, you moan louder, your grip on his hand way tighter, he has a smirk on his face, rolling the toy in soft circles.
“That’s exactly how you like it, isn’t it?” He asks with a smile on his face, looking up at you, his eye contact intense.
“Y — Yes.”
You whisper, your hips bucking as your feet curl.
“I knew it.”

Hobie brown with a gf who is always angry and complicated but is completely quiet and calm around him cuz he keeps her under control and puts her in her place? She’ll tell someone to do something and when they doesn’t do it she’ll blow up on them, but if they do, do it she’ll blow up on them if she doesn’t like the way they do it. And her jealousy is sky high, when she first heard about Gwen staying at Hobie’s she wanted to rip her neck off her shoulders? She also has no filter and tells Gwen straight up that she hates her staying around Hobie. (She’s not mean to Miles and Pavitr bc she views them as little brothers, she kinda has a love-hate relationship with Gwen. She’s okay with her, just not when she’s around Hobie). 😭
she’s so me.. I’d love to. The title is after the Lana song yes…
Jealous, jealous, jealous girl
Tumblr media
“Hey, Hobie.” You kissed his cheek when you saw him.
“Hi, love. You good? You seem a lil..”
“I’m fine. Why would I not be fine..?”
“Well, I heard from someone that you cussed them out cause they forgot to do something.”
“Fucking Margo.” You grumbled.
“It’s alright. I get it.” He shrugged
Ever since you heard Gwen say that she stayed with Hobie, you’ve been even more pissed off than usual. You didn’t tell Hobie you knew.
He didn’t even wanna mention how Miguel said “control your girlfriend.” To him. Miguel just told him to bug off.
Miguel loved you, he did, and he wanted to help you control your anger. But you were a lot, and that was fine with him, he liked it as a matter of fact. But everyone else seemed to have a problem with it.
“I gotta go, see ya.” You said.
“Alright, see ya dove.” You both kissed before you walked into the doors.
You worked with spider byte (Margo) as her boss.
“Hey Margo.” You mumbled, you and her worked with the tech and computers.
“Hey.”
You went to one of the computers and started to look at them.
“Anything new show up?”
“Uh.. yeah, actually. Miguel recruited a few new people, I searched them all up, and looking for some more possible ones.”
“Alright.. nothing wrong with anything else?”
“Nope. So how are you and hobie?”
“We’re good. I’m sorry about yesterday.. I jus.. Y’Know.”
“It’s whatever.” She said with a shrug.
“Hey, come look at this guy.” You said, looking at her as she came over.
“The spot? That’s a.. dumb name. 1610, isn’t that the same earth that the miles kid is from?”
“Yup. It says that he’s just robbing atms.. that’s dumb. But his powers are what’s interesting.”
“Interdimensional portals on his body..?”
“Yeah. We should let Miguel know.”
“You can.” She laughed “I’m taking a lunch break.”
“Are you serious? It’s fucking… 10 am?!”
“You don’t control my lunch breaks.” She said, and her avatar disappeared along with her clones.
“Son of a bitch..!” You kicked the edge of a table as miguel watched in confusion.
Miguel chuckled and you jumped.
“What’s wrong with you?” He asked.
“Get off my ass!”
“No one’s on your ass…”
“Im taking a break.”
————————————————————
After telling him about the spot, he said he’ll look into it. You left after a while, and Gwen was out there talking to Hobie.
“You’re fucking with me..” you groaned to yourself.
“So I was wondering, could I crash at yours tonight? Uh, I’ve been crashing with some other people but they keep kicking me out after a while..”
“Yeah, ‘s alright.”
You rolled your eyes, and came out.
“Hi love!” You said, kissing his cheek. He put an arm around you.
“Gwen..” you said, looking at her.
“Hi y/n..” she said awkwardly.
“Hi. How’ve you been?” You said, bitterly. Hobie looked down at you, giving you a look that said “stop.” His grip around you tightened and you were closer now.
“Good.. good, how about you?”
“Same.” You said, faking a smile.
“Hobie. Miguel needs you.” Someone said, coming up to him.
“All right, see you sweetheart, see you Gwen.” He kissed you and left.
“So, I overheard how you were staying at Hobies tonight.” You said bitterly once he was gone.
“Oh, yeah, but that’s just because I can’t really go anywhere else-“
“I don’t like it when you do that. Actually, I hate it.”
“Excuse me?”
“Look, Gwen, I don’t have a problem with you at all. It’s just… I can’t stand it when you stay at his.”
“I don’t like him-“ she laughed.
“No one said you did.”
She sighed “Okay. I get it. I’ll uh… stay with pavitr or something.”
“Thank you.”
“Mhm..” she said, and walked away.
You smiled to yourself as you walked the other way, and waited for Hobie to come out.
“Hey.” You said to him.
“Hi.. you uh.. seen Gwen? She was supposed to stay with me tonight.”
“She said she changed her mind, she’ll just sleep over at pavitrs.”
“Oh. Alright. You comin’ over then?” He said, he had a good idea of why she changed her mind.
“Yeah.”
“You know you don’t need to be jealous of Gwen.. right? I love you.”
“I know but…”
He kissed you and shut you up.
“Just… next time she wants to stay over, you can come too.”
You smiled at him and nodded. “Okay.”
He smiled and grabbed your hand as you both went through the portal.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Wow… you really do have the whole collection.” You murmur, lightly grazing your fingertips over the spines of Ellie’s comics.
It was the first time you had been to her house. Well… garage. She wasn’t exactly proud of it either, but it was homely.
“Pretty cool, huh?” She says, watching you. “I’ve probably read it about a dozen times already.”
You smiled, turning and looking at her over your shoulder. She shifts on her bed.
“Didn’t know you were a geek.”
“A- A geek?” She stutters, raising her eyebrows. “Wow, okay. Ouch.”
You both laughed, and you bit down on your lip. “It’s not a bad thing. Geeks are cute.”
You turned to look back at her bookshelf as Ellie’s face flushes. She knew you were flirting with her — it was obvious you were flirting with her — but she didn’t know what to do next.
“Mind if I read the second one while I’m here?” You ask, pulling the sandwiched comic out of its spot.
“Go for it,” She says, pulling her converse off her feet. “You can come sit over here. I mean — if, if you want.”
You grinned, spinning on your heel before plopping yourself on her bed. It was soft, and surprisingly comfy.
“Hey, this isn’t fair.”
“What?” She says, eyes widening.
“Your bed. It’s so nice,” You comment, looking up at her. “How do you just casually have the best bed, like, ever?”
The redhead laughs. “That’s a bit of an exaggeration.”
“I’m not even kidding,” You sigh. “God. I could sleep here forever.”
As you turn the page and begin reading, Ellie can’t help but look over at you. You were inches away from her, on her bed, in her bedroom. And you said you wanted to sleep next to her. It felt surreal.
She swears she could probably die happy right about now.
About ten minutes pass, and Ellie clears her throat. “So, uh, how are you liking it so far?”
“It’s really good,” You say, still holding the book up. “I think I could get into this series… if you’ll let me, of course.”
“Y-Yeah,” She says quickly. “Yeah, of course. Uh, whenever you want.”
You smiled gently before looking over at her.
“Hey, Ellie?”
“Uh-huh?”
“Do you have a girlfriend?” You ask. “Or… boyfriend? Sorry. Should’ve asked.”
Her eyes nearly pop out of her head. “G-Girlfriend. And uh, no, not currently.”
“So you’re seeing someone?” You question.
“No— No, sorry. I meant… that I don’t have a girlfriend.”
“Oh.” You say simply, before returning to the comic. Her head swarms as she tries to figure out your intentions.
Was that was your way of telling her you liked her? Shit, or were you just being friendly? She couldn’t tell. She didn’t wanna read into it wrong.
A few more minutes pass as she looks down at you. “Um… and you?”
“Huh?” You say, looking up from the book. “Me?”
“Y-Yeah. Do… you have someone?”
“No,” You say. “I’d be surprised if anyone even liked me. I mean… I’m not all that. But you? You get to go on patrol and look all badass and stuff.”
Ellie blushes, looking down at the ground. “You— you look good, too. Better. I meant… better.”
She wants to kick herself. Why does she sound so stupid when she wants to flirt back?
Nonetheless, you took the compliment with a smile. “Thanks, Ellie.”
Ellie gives a thin-lipped smile, desperately hoping she was better at putting her thoughts into words. And that she wasn’t a total dork.
The two of you had spent the next few hours in her room. The sun slowly began to lower in the sky, painting her window blinds a pale shade of gray. You had gone through two comics at most, as you had spent half of your time speaking to her instead of actually reading.
“Alright,” You nudged her knee. “It’s your turn to tell me a story.”
“Alright, alright.” She pauses. “I have a good one. It’s about my friend Jesse.”
“Okay. Shoot,” You reply, looking up at her.
You realized that you enjoyed watching her. More than anyone you had ever met.
There was a sparkle she got in her eyes when she was excited about something, and her nose would scrunch whenever she described something she didn’t like. It was cute and adorable and god, you wanted more of her.
“…And so while me and Dina were sledding, he slips and absolutely busts his ass.” At this point, Ellie’s smiling, making grand hand gestures as she explains.
“I’m talkin’ full on, face first into the fucking snow! It was hilarious, and—“
She notices your staring, and immediately clears her throat. “Uh... are— are you okay?”
“Yeah,” You say, pushing yourself up from the position you were laying in. You scoot closer, so you’re hovering over her face.
“Can I kiss you?” You ask, looking into her eyes. When you’re met with silence, you close your eyes, mentally scolding yourself.
“Sorry… was that awkward?” You cover your face with your hands. “That was awkward, wasn’t it? N-Nevermind. I swear I was listening—“
For a moment, you were worried that maybe you had come on too strong. That just as you began to make a new friend, you had pushed her away, in a rather embarrassing manner. But your fears dissipate when you feel the warmth of her hands on yours.
She peels your hands away from your face, holding them gently. Her fingers were nimble, and rather coarse, but her touch is near electrifying.
“Please,” She whispers, barely audible. And before you have the chance to lean in, her lips have already hit yours.
Ellie’s kiss is desperate; it was something she had been wanting to do since she had first met you. And inside, she’s ecstatic, because she never thought you’d ask her to.
Her lips are warm, and encompassing, and her breath is shallow against your face. She goes slowly as to burn this memory into her brain.
When the two of you pull away, it’s quiet. You were worried if maybe you had changed the dynamic too quickly, but then she speaks.
“I… I really wanted that.” She says softly. You smile, nodding.
“Yeah. Me too.”
You turn your head away in an attempt to ease the fluttering in your chest. Ellie’s eyes are still on you, and she reaches out to brush a stray piece of hair away from your neck.
Your eyes land on the comic cover, and you laugh halfheartedly.
“I, um, barely finished it.” You utter. “The book.”
“Oh,” She says, raising her brows. “You… you can take some more with you, if you want. So you can read them.”
You shrug, looking back over at her.
“Or maybe I can just come back over here.” You add. “So I can read them with you?”
Ellie’s heart skips a beat, and she quickly nods. “Yeah. Yeah, that’s— great.”
You got up from her bed, putting the comics back. When you turn around, you press your lips together, looking off to the side.
“One condition, though.”
“Hm?” She says, looking back over at you.
“I come over as your girlfriend… not your friend.” You say shyly. “It’s my only rule.”
Ellie grins, standing up from the bed as well. She approaches you slowly.
“Well… you’re leaving as my girlfriend… aren’t you?”
“Am I?” You smile coyly, putting your arms around her neck. “This your way of asking me out?”
Ellie nods, face flushed. She thought it was cute, and a little funny, that you had casually assumed she went around kissing people she wasn’t into. She considered herself way too much of a loser to accomplish something like that.
You giggle a bit.
“Okay, then. Yeah, I’ll be your girlfriend.”
Her girlfriend. Her girl. Ellie can’t help but feel fuzzy at the thought of it.
It sounded good — it sounded right, rolling off of your tongue. She truly couldn’t wait to have you around her arm, walking with you around town.
Ellie doesn’t say anything else, merely smiles bashfully as you lean in to kiss her again.
And even though she couldn’t be sure of the future, she’s sure that in this moment, she wouldn’t wanna be with anyone else besides you.

OK I saw an anon asking for another hyunjin fic bc of the vmas (tbfh same) and have an idea for another vmas hyunjin fic (if you’re up for it) hear me out:
apparently people were freaking out the other day bc there was this video going around of Sabrina carpenter waving at hyunjin when it turned OUT she was actually waving to Dixie damelio bc they’re friends…what if y/n saw that and thought she was waving at hyunjin too and got super jealous? I know I would even though I love Sabrina lol. so she starts giving hyunjin the cold shoulder and answering in one word responses etc and he’s confused so she says something like “why don’t you ask your new girlfriend” and he thinks it’s cute that she’s jealous and reveals Sabrina was waving to Dixie not him. And even if she did wave to him, he’s 10000% in love with you and absolutely does not want anyone else. Then after their performance and skz is backstage he pulls you into a closet/private room, locks the door and proves to you just how much he wants/worships you and no one else, in his sweaty state 😫 something like that? I haven’t been able to stop thinking about vmas hyunjin either and who can blame me
ps I’ve written to you before and idk if you take emojis for anons but if so can I be 🪽 anon? I love your writing sm and I know I’ll be back! I wanna be friends but I’m a lil shy lol… 🙂
I DID IT. IM SO SORRY FOR THE WAIT, DON'T HATE ME. 😭 Here you go, my love ❣️🪽

Surely you were seeing things right? You had to be seeing things. Maybe it was the stage lights or the adrenaline from the boys' win getting to you but you swear that the very beautiful and very talented Sabrina Carpenter just tried to shoot her shot at your equally as beautiful and talented boyfriend. Maybe it was harmless, Sabrina is a K-pop fan so maybe she was just trying to grab his attention and give him a friendly thumbs up or something.
You check your phone while you make your way backstage to meet the boys, of course they’re trending on every app that you have but a particular twitter post catches your eye. You stop in the middle of the very busy backstage hallway as you read the video caption for the third time, ‘Are Sabrina Carpenter and Hyunjin flirting?!’. You click on the video quickly, bringing the phone closer to your face as if you could zoom in on the interaction. It’s right there, it’s in very poor quality but it’s there nonetheless. Hyunjin definitely gave Sabrina a look and according to the video he did it more than once. You can feel your stomach turn as an emotion runs over you but you can’t figure out if it’s anger or jealousy, maybe it’s both? You take a deep breath and start walking again, you stuff your phone into your purse and shake your head a bit to try and get your thoughts together. This is a big night for the boys and you don’t want to ruin it for them by having an attitude but you also don’t know how to deal with this cocktail of emotion bubbling in your veins.
✦ .  ⁺   . ✦ .  ⁺   . ✦
“Baby, can you help me put this on?” Hyunjin holds his necklace out in your direction and you take it from him quietly. He furrows his brows a bit before turning around and allowing you to put the jewelry on him. He noticed your shift in attitude since they got their award but he thought that maybe you were just overwhelmed. He watched you as they got ready for their stage, you laughed with everyone and were talking to staff casually but when it came to him you were silent and short spoken. He instantly started replaying the last hour or so in his head. What could he have done to upset you?
“Thank you.” He turns to you and leans in to kiss your cheek but you pull back slightly, looking in the opposite direction. “Angel, is everything alright?”
“Yup.” Your eyes look everywhere but at him, even when he moves to your side to sit next to you.
“Are you sure? You’ve been quiet, did I do something to upset you?” He places his hand on your knee and you promptly cross your legs to get him to move his hand. You shrug your shoulders in response. Your gaze falls on Felix as he takes pictures of everyone in their finished looks. “Baby, come on.”
“Don’t you have someone else to talk to?” You huff, an over exaggerated sigh following your statement.
“Hm? What do you mean?” Hyunjins brows knit together as he racks his brain trying to understand what you’re referring to.
“Why don’t you ask Sabrina? You seem pretty interested in her.” You roll your eyes and Hyunjin raises his eyebrows at your sharp remark. Felix had shown him a couple of the trending tweets along with the video of Sabrina waving in his direction, they laughed about it and Hyunjin told the guys that she definitely wasn’t waving at him and if she was he didn’t even notice her.
“Ah, you saw that video?” You shift in your seat scoffing at his question. A small smile pulls at his lips as he watches you, you don’t get jealous often but gosh was it hot. Something about you giving him the cold shoulder turned Hyunjin on, maybe it was the way you rolled your eyes at him and how sassy you were everytime he tried to touch you. Whatever it was, he was enjoying it.
“Everyone saw the video, so yeah.” You bite back, glancing at him for only a second before looking back over towards the rest of the boys.
“Baby, she wasn’t waving at me and even if she was I didn’t notice her. I was looking at the Stays that were seated in that direction.” Your heart starts to hammer in your chest as his words sink in. You can feel a blush spreading over your cheeks and a tinge of embarrassment in your core. He had pointed out the row of Stays in that direction earlier in the night but in the heat of the moment you completely forgot about it.
“Why would I look at her when I have the most stunning woman in the world here with me tonight, hm?” He snakes his arm over your shoulder and pulls you into a side hug. “Is my jealous girl blushing?”
You hide your face in his chest, trying to avoid his gaze. How embarrassing is this? Looks like you got jealous for nothing.
“Look at me, angel.” Hyunjin tries his best to gently pry you away from him but he’s interrupted by Chan calling everyone to get ready to go over to the stage. You look up, only because you know he has to go but his fingers catch your chin before you can look away again. Your shy gaze meets his and he smiles down at you, but it’s not a regular smile. It’s the type that he uses when he’s up to something. He plants a quick kiss on your lips before standing and holding his hand out to you.
“Come, you can watch on the backstage monitor.” You take his hand reluctantly, an apologetic smile on your face. He shakes his head, chuckling a bit.
“My possessive baby.”
✦ .  ⁺   . ✦ .  ⁺   . ✦
The boys absolutely killed their set but that was to be expected. You heard loud clapping and cheering as they made their way from the stage, a mixture of praises both towards the boys and the dancers. You join the busy crowd, clapping and looking through the sea of people for Hyunjin. Suddenly, you feel large hands on your waist and you turn around to see your boyfriend looking down at you with a grin. He’s sweaty and his breathing still hasn’t calmed down completely, He’s discarded the vest that he had on during the performance leaving him in only his black tank top. You open your mouth to congratulate him but he puts a finger over his lips, hushing you before taking your hand and pulling you with him. He makes his way in the opposite direction of the boys, towards the quieter part of the venue. You recognize the hallway from when the boys took pictures earlier, Hyunjin leads you into a small cut off hallway where some extra supplies seem to be stored. He closes the door behind you, placing a piece of paper over the latch so that you two don’t get locked in. He turns to you and you look up at him with confusion woven in your features.
“What are we doing here?” You look around thinking that maybe you missed something.
“You know that you mean the world to me, right?” Your heart starts hammering in your chest again, your grip on your clutch purse growing tighter as embarrassment washes over you again.
“I know, I’m sorry I should’ve asked you instead of drawing conclusions.”
“Don’t apologize, you were being protective of what’s yours.” Hyunjin takes a couple of steps towards you, one hand sliding into the pocket of his brown designer pants.
“You know that I’m yours, right?” Your mouth goes dry when you take in his deepened tone, what exactly did he bring you here to do? You press your thighs together, shifting your weight from one foot to the other. Your black form fitting dress rides up a bit from movement. “Answer me, angel.”
“Yes, I know you’re mine.” You clear your throat, trying not to show how much his words are affecting you.
“I only want you, you’re the only woman I ever think about, the only woman I ever look at.” He steps closer, reaching up to cup your cheek. You close your eyes and lean into his hand. His fingers brush against your lips. “Do you believe me?”
You shake your head, opening your eyes to meet his. He smiles at you before leaning down and pressing his lips to yours. You kiss him back, melting into him. Your arms find a home around his neck as he deepens the kiss, his tongue parts your lips, slipping into your mouth and stealing a taste of you. You moan into his mouth and he smiles against your lips. He pushes you back gently, prompting you to take a step back. He leads you backwards until your back hits the wall, you gasp, breaking the kiss and Hyunjin takes it as an opportunity to trail soft kisses over your jaw and down your neck.
“Hyunjin…we can’t do this here.” Your words are anything but convincing and you know for a fact that you don’t mean them. After the rush of jealousy that you felt earlier topped off with the breathtaking performance that he just put on with the boys’ you know that your body is more than ready for him.
“Let me show just how much I love you.” He plants a wet kiss right below your ear before whispering. “I want you to feel how much I want you, only you.”
Hyunjin presses himself against you and you moan at the feeling of his hard dick straining against his pants. “Only you do that to me.”
“Hyunjin.” His name leaves your lips in a breathy moan, you can’t think of anything else to possibly say. He’s completely fogged your mind.
He starts leaving sloppy open mouth kisses on your neck, rough yet slow actions of affection. His hands trace up your sides, lightly scratching at the fabric of your Versace cocktail dress, dragging the fabric up your soft skin and exposing your plush thighs.You trail your free hand down his arm, moving to palm him through his pants but one of his hands swiftly grabs your wrist, pinning your arm to the wall behind you.
“This is about you, baby. Only you.” He whispers against your skin before his lips make their way down to your chest, sucking and biting at your skin leaving red marks in his wake. His other hand grips at your waist, pulling you towards him and making you arch your back off of the wall.
 “I’m all yours baby.” He slides down onto his knees. Sitting in front of you, his large hands trailing down the soft skin of your legs. He looks up at you, his sparkling eyes surrendering to you. “I would never worship another woman like this in my life.”
He leans forward, pressing soft kisses to the outside of your thigh and making his way to the sensitive skin leading to your core. You spread your legs a bit to give him better access and he groans at the gesture. His hands snake up under your dress, he hooks his thumbs into the thin straps of your thong and leads the garment down your legs. You step out of them, and Hyunjin wastes no time bringing them up to his nose and taking a deep inhale.
“Fuck, I love the smell of you.” His words are breathy yet stable, he stuffs your thong into his pocket, a treasure for him to remember this moment by. He peers up into your attentive yet fucked out gaze, watching you as he sneaks the pad of his pointer finger up to caress your soaked folds. You jump at the contact, a deep moan leaving your throat, you hadn’t realized how much you needed his touch until now. You relax as he runs his finger up and down your heat, circling your clit and teasing your entrance a bit. Your hips buck against his hand, silently begging him to stretch you. Small whimpers fall from your parted lips as you keep your eyes on his.
“You sound so beautiful, angel. You’re so fucking perfect.” He pushes his finger into you slowly, curling it upward to caress your g-spot. You bring your hand up to your mouth in an attempt to drown out your moans. Hyunjin shakes his head, fucking his finger into you a bit faster. “Let them hear you, I don’t care who it is, Let them hear what I do to you.”
“Hyun- Fuck” He adds another finger, scissoring them inside of you to stretch you out. “Oh my god, that's so good.”
“Only the best for you, this is only for you.” He leans up on his knees, sticking his tongue out and licking up the wetness dripping down your inner thigh. His tongue works its way over to your cunt, flicking your clit at a delicious pace that makes your back arch off of the wall further. He hums against you as you buck your hips, fucking yourself on his fingers and tongue. You feel yourself getting closer and closer to the edge, your body trembling as you beg him to keep going. He keeps up the pace, his tongue never stopping until you're finally pushed over the edge. You cry out in bliss as you cum hard, your body trembling with pleasure. He laps up every bit of your arousal that he can catch, leaving light kisses on your swollen clit as he allows you to come down from your high just a bit.
“You taste like heaven” Hyunjin groans as he pulls away from you, licking his lips to clean up the mess you made. Your mind is clouded with lust, the jealousy from earlier nearly forgotten. The only thing on your mind now is how badly you want the man in front of you. How badly you need him inside of you.
“I can feel like heaven for you too.”
“This is about you, angel.”
“Then fuck me, please. If this is about me then make me forget about that stupid tweet. You’d do anything to please me right?” Hyunjin, stands from his position in front of you. Your eyes stay locked on his dark ones as he towers over you.
“I’d do anything to please you.” His words are soft and strong, he leans into you, catching your lips in a sweet kiss. You can taste yourself on his tongue as the kiss deepens, the gentle nature that Hyunjin held seconds ago melting away into a frenzied lust.
“You drive me insane.” He whispers against your lips and you moan into his mouth. Your hands run down his clothed chest, taking in his firm core and his shirt damp with sweat. You run your hand over his hard cock, palming and stroking him. A pornographic moan erupts from his throat, he breaks the kiss and his jaw hangs open in bliss. You look up at him, watching as he bites his lip with his eyes shut tight, concentrating on the way your fingers move against him.
“I want you to fuck me like she’s watching.” Hyunjin groans deeply, furrowing his brows at your words. “Show her that you’re taken.”
Your words flipped a switch in Hyunjins head, he grabs your hip, turning you around and swiftly pulling your dress up to expose your bare ass. He lands a firm smack on both of your ass cheeks, the sound echoing throughout the room.
“I’ll show her.” He presses his clothed bulge against you and you can feel him unbuttoning his pants with one hand. “I’ll show her who I belong to.”
He runs his hands over your bare skin, his touch gentle yet possessive. He leans in and whispers in your ear “I’ll let everyone know I’m yours.”
You gasp as you feel his cock part your dripping folds, stretching you out deliciously. He pushes in slowly, allowing you a bit of time to adjust to him. Your moans fill the air as he slides into you, once he bottoms out he leans forward, pressing you into the wall so that you’re flush against him.
“I’m yours” He moans as he starts to move, his hips pushing against yours in a rhythm that intensifies with each thrust. The sound of skin slapping echoes through the hallway but is easily drowned out by your shared moans. Your head falls back against Hyunjin’s chest giving him the perfect view of your fucked out expression. He leans down, leaving soft kisses on your forehead, a sweet contrast to the rough thrust of his hips.
“You’re mine.” Your words make Hyunjin’s hips stutter, pushing into you deeper, he bites his lip as he takes it all in. The way you’re clenching around him, your moans mixing with his, the way the head of his cock hits your sweet spot. It all drives him closer to the edge.
“You were right.” His thrusts become faster and harder and you squeeze around him as you draw closer to your release, meeting his rhythm with pleasure. “You do feel like heaven.”
His fingers dig into the soft flesh of your hips as he comes undone, his moans mingle with yours as he fills you. The feeling of his hot release throws you over the edge, you fall apart seconds after him, his name falls from your lips like a chant as your pleasure washes over you. You both still, his dick stays deep inside of you as you both try to catch your breath.
“Thank you.” Hyunjin hums in response, soft pants falling from his lips.
“For what?”
“For showing me that you’re mine, this might’ve been the best type of reassurance ever.” You chuckle and he follows, a wide smile spreading across his face.
“I’m glad that you enjoyed yourself. But, please remember that I mean this, there’s never anyone on my mind but you. You’re all I think about.” His sweet words send a shiver down your spine and you can’t help but to clench around him.
“Oh fuck.” Hyunjin groans with a chuckle and you can’t help but to smile. “I need to pull out, I don’t think I’ll be able to control myself if you do that again.”
He slides out of you slowly, whines escape both of you from the sensitivity of the action. He tucks himself back into his pants and you turn around to face him, still leaning on the wall for support.
“How am I supposed to go back out there with your cum dripping out of me?” You look down at the mixed arousal running down your leg and Hyunjin smiles at you.
“Here.” You watch him as he kneels before you, dipping his tongue out and licking the stream of cum running down your leg. A groan falls from your lips as you watch him taste your mixed arousals. He trails his tongue up your leg, collecting all of the juices that drip from you until he reaches your swollen cunt. He runs his tongue over the sensitive flesh and you shiver in response, your head falling back against the wall and a moan escaping you.
“Baby, I’m so sensitive.” Hyunjin hums in response and the feeling of the sound vibrating through you makes you clench around nothing. He dips his tongue into your hole, lapping up most of your arousal and cleaning your cunt to perfection. Once he’s satisfied he pulls away and stands, wiping his chin clean and smiling at you. He gives you a moment to recover before taking your chin between his fingers and tilting your head up to meet his gaze.
“Next time that you get jealous just remember that you and I are made for each other. We’re perfect together.” You smile up at him and he leans forward kissing you with wet lips. He parts your lips with his tongue and gently runs his over yours. The taste of your mixed arousals flood your mouth and you relish the flavor. He breaks the kiss just as you move to deepen it, a slight whine falling from your lips. He grins down at you before running his thumb over your swollen bottom lip
“See? Don’t we taste good together? I only want you to mix with me, no one else, okay?” You nod your head, a sweet fucked out smile pulling at your lips. “I love you, angel”
“I love you too, baby.”

➝ word count: 3.5k~
➝warning: no smut scenes but there are mentions of sex and implications of it so minor dni!! mentions of alcohol, food, curses. very self indulgent bc i write this for my birthday hehe. this wonwoo made an appearance <3
➝A/N: hi. so this wasn't exactly... planned. i was just randomly sitting down with my google doc open and suddenly i finished writing... this in one day. gotta say that, when you do write for yourself, it is much easier to write and it's been quite some time since i'm actually happy with what i put out. but also just to put it out there, this fic is actually finished somewhere before february ended but i decided to post it for my birthday because i did start writing it with the thoughts 'i miss wonwoo' and 'i kinda wanna post smth on my bday' so. enjoy. i'm happy to say i'm content with how this one turns to be. here's to turning 25 lol
[✾✾✾]
You hear the door open, signalling Wonwoo’s arrival, and when you feel his presence nearby, you don’t even look up from your phone when you say, “No.”
Wonwoo smiles in amusement, irking an eyebrow as he settles next to you. “I haven’t said anything though?”
“You’re gonna ask me out again.” You roll your eyes, already used to his antics. You don’t even pretend to care about his mock heartache anymore when he clutches his chest.
You’re not sure what Jeon Wonwoo has in his mind, but he’s been asking you out on dates everytime he sees you since last month. Problem is, you see him a lot. A little hard not to with the friends with benefits situation that has been going on between you and him for the last six months.
Even right now, you’re in his place. You’ve been here since almost half an hour ago, entertaining yourself as you wait for Wonwoo to get home because he’s out when you called, and when he said you’re allowed to use the access he’s given you some time ago, you decided to barge into his place like it’s your own.
You’re practically here more often than in your own dorm, anyway.
It almost feels like a second home to you.
But you don’t want to think too much about it. Not about the fact that you have access to Wonwoo’s place. Not about the fact that you’re basically exclusive. Not about the fact that you talk to him practically everyday.
Nope.
“You don’t even pretend to consider it anymore.” He sighs, and you hate that you can’t tell if he’s joking or not. You’ve been telling him to cut it out, but it surely doesn’t look like he has any plans of listening to you. “Here, I got this for you.”
Now that catches your attention, and you actually jump a little on the sofa before you take the small package, take Wonwoo’s face in your arms, and kiss him square in the lips as a thank you.
“You won’t go on a date with me but will kiss me over some cookies. Nice,” he grumbles, though the grin blooming into his face when you pull away betrays him.
Clutching the cookie into your chest like it’s the most precious thing in the world, you regard him with stars in your eyes. “Where did you even find this? I’ve been looking for this forever and I couldn’t find it! I don’t even know the name of the shop that sells this?”
“I’m just capable like that.” He shrugs like it’s nothing, telling you he was out with a friend and the packaging looked familiar so he got it just in case. You’ve been telling him about that craving of yours, a chocolate rum cookie that some random classmate offered some time ago–one that is so good but you don’t know the brand, only remember the flavour and the packaging.
And you can’t even ask that classmate again because she was an exchange student that you’ve only spoken for a total of two times in your life, and she has returned to her country.
You don't even know her name.
“You have to tell me where you got this.” The packaging just has to be so empty; a very simple but elegant design that doesn’t state the shop’s name whatsoever.
“Mmm. Perhaps if you say yes I’ll bring you there.”
“No.”
“Hard pass then.” He chuckles and messes your hair. “Eat. I’ll buy you some more if you’re a good girl.”
The innuendo is not purposeful on his part, and it’s two seconds later that he realizes what he’s just said and he cringes so hard that you laugh, because as much as it’s physical between the two of you, Wonwoo absolutely abhors that particular… moniker. It’s always been an on-going joke between you two, and you laugh some more when his frown deepens, launching yourself into his lap and peppering kisses on his jaw.
“You want me to be one?”
“Shut up.” He grunts, though his arms wrap around your waist anyway and he bends his neck to give you more access.
“I can be if you want to, you know?” You whisper against his ear, not missing the way his hold tightens around you. You’re suddenly very aware of the fact that the only thing separating you and him is the clothes you’re wearing.
“Shut up.” He repeats and kisses you some more. When it gets almost hard to breath, he doesn’t forget to get the cookie out of your grasp and carefully places it on the coffee table before hauling you up and carrying you into his room, your squeal and laughter echoes throughout his empty apartment.
You don’t get to eat your chocolate rum cookie until later that evening, already showered and dressed in Wonwoo’s oversized hoodie as you cuddle into his chest with a movie playing in front of you.
[✾✾✾]
You don’t know what’s taking Wonwoo so long, but he’s already fifteen minutes late without any text messages so you decide you’ll just get some drink first and let loose. He’s probably going to be pissed because he’s never liked it when you go to a bar by yourself (something about men looking at what’s his, whatever that means) but whatever, it’s his fault for being late and you’re currently not relaxed enough to wait for him by yourself in a place full of people.
The whiskey burns your throat in a pleasant way, though now that you think about it, you shouldn’t have drunk everything in one go when you still have moments to spare as you wait for Wonwoo. But, then again, you can always just order more.
You’ve never been to this bar before, but after hearing how good the vibe is from a friend, you decided to go to check it out. Clubs have never really been your style–people are way too drunk and the music is too loud.
Your friend is absolutely correct when she said you would fit right with this particular bar; there are just enough people for it to be crowded but not really crowded that you get dizzy. Plus, the music is up to your taste and you find yourself nodding to whatever’s playing in the background as you scan through the sea of people while you lean on the wooden bar.
You were just about to order again when someone joins you by the bar, a tall, handsome man that doesn’t look sleazy at first glance. And he’s offering to buy you a drink. You subtly try to check him out; this guy is definitely taller and bigger than Wonwoo, though he doesn’t look harmful and he doesn’t look like he’s hunting for prey. His smile when he offers to pay for your drink looks… honest, if anything. The guy doesn’t even look flirty. Perhaps he thinks you’re interesting and are in need of some company.
The side of your lips lift in an amused smile, Wonwoo will be pissed as fuck if he finds out, but do you care? No you don’t. You’re not going to turn down free drinks from a handsome stranger that doesn’t look dangerous.
“So how come you’re by yourself?” He bends to your height, not too close that it makes you uncomfortable, and just enough for you to hear him over the music. “I’m Mingyu, by the way.”
Hmm. Handsome and with manners.
“Why do you want to know?” You answer with a teasing smile, sipping on your cocktail. Mingyu laughs when you say you’re not telling him his name, if only because he hasn’t earned it yet, and you’re pleasantly surprised when he says it’s understandable and he’s glad you know how to play your cards. “What about you, why are you by yourself?”
“Eh. I just feel like drinking tonight and you seem to be someone who doesn’t mind talking to strangers.”
“Ouch. Is that how I look like? Easy?” You pretend to be offended, and it’s almost cute how Mingyu laughs yet again and rephrases his words. If this was you six months ago, you’d definitely flirt with him and eat up everything that comes out of his mouth, perhaps you’d even end up going back with him. The guy is handsome and you can actually hold conversations with him, which is already a very big difference compared to a lot of guys that have tried talking you up in places like this.
But alas. Your eyes twinkle as you catch the figure of the man who’s the exact reason why you’re not flirting with Mingyu making his way towards you, why you don’t feel the excitement that used to rush through your blood at times like this, and why ‘handsome’ is the only thing you think of Mingyu even though he seems much more than that.
You don’t care enough to think about Mingyu in different aspects.
The way Wonwoo immediately grabs your waist is almost funny, and you have to actually bite your lip and clutch the cocktail glass between your fingers to stop yourself from grinning. “I’ve been looking for you.”
“Your boyfriend?” Mingyu asks goodnaturedly–almost concerned, even–making sure he’s not some random guy who’s grabbing you without consent.
“Yes.” Wonwoo almost growls, and you have to plant your palm on his chest to calm him down, telling him Mingyu is harmless even though your ears are heating up from his word. You’d need to get back to that boyfriend thing later.
Mingyu sends you a look, and you’re absolutely, thoroughly would’ve swooned if you’re… uh… single (you are) and you’re not seeing… anyone (huh?). But you send him a smile, an actual smile this time, and you nod before you tell him it’s nice meeting him.
Wonwoo refuses to look at the interaction, but you can tell that he’s more relaxed than he was seconds ago and his grip on your waist is now replaced with his thumb caressing you through the material of your dress.
Would it hurt to push his button one more time?
“Hey.” You call to Mingyu once again when he’s about to leave, making both guys turn to you in confusion–Wonwoo more so in betrayal–and when you tell him you’d love to see him again someday and finally tell him your name with a wink, Mingyu gets exactly what you’re playing at. Another laugh bubbles out of his throat and he returns the gesture with a ‘have fun!’ before making his way out of your sight.
“What the fuck was that?”
It’s not often that Wonwoo curses, and you know you’ve pushed just enough of his buttons for him to react this way. If anything, though, adoration fills your chest and you have to physically hold yourself back from squeezing his cheeks.
“What? You were late and he accompanied me. Nice guy, right?” You try to play innocent, placing your glass on the bar and turning in his arm to face him. He looks especially nice today, with his hair styled a little and a denim jacket that you haven’t seen him worn before. You can feel your heartbeat picking up the longer you stare at him, and you don’t register what’s coming out of his mouth because you’re lost in your head.
Your eyes fall to his lips, and it’s when he clicks his tongue that you finally look back at him, eyes meeting his in mock innocence.
“You’re not listening to me, are you?”
You shake your head to confirm his suspicion. The guy can't even get mad at you even if he wants to.
“So.” Wonwoo raises his eyebrow in question, urging you to continue. “Boyfriend, huh?”
Wonwoo opens his mouth to say something, but you don’t give him room to talk more because you already dive into his lips, your palms on his shoulders and his arms wrap around you once again–probably muscle memory at this point. There’s no rush in this kiss though, you really just feel like kissing him and you do exactly that. Wonwoo doesn’t seem to mind either, because his lips chase yours when you’re about to pull away.
“Won I–”
“Hmm?”
“I need to–”
“Mmm.”
“Need to–”
“To what?” He finally pulls away, annoyed that you keep on trying to pull away. Even in the dim lighting of the bar, you can tell that he’s a little flushed too and there’s something about it that makes your heartbeat speed up once again. Were you two just… kissing in a public space for no reason at all?
“Need to breathe, baby.” You finish your sentence, suddenly shy now that you’re looking at each other. You dive into his neck before he catches your embarrassment though, and he simply chuckles before he takes a sip of your drink, whatever annoyance in his chest from looking at you and Mingyu, whoever that guy is, disappears just like that.
God, it’s not funny how whipped he is for you.
“What are you doing tomorrow?”
“Nothing.”
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Not a chance.” You beam, though you reject him with a kiss on his cheek and you tell him to finish your drink because you don’t feel like being here anymore. You won’t let him ponder too long on your rejection though, your fingers caressing his neck and your lips finding his ear. “Actually, let’s go back to your place. I don’t have anything to do tomorrow.”
Wonwoo shudders a little at that, still not used to the way you’d get vocal about what you want when you’re tipsy. That’s your code of saying you want to have rough sex all night–or however he would have you, really.
So Wonwoo finishes your drink in one go and grabs your hand to pull you out of the bar, missing the way you exchange grins with Mingyu as you accidentally catch his eyes before you exit the place.
[✾✾✾]
“You know you’ll spend less money if you just tell me where to buy these cookies?” You pout, still trying to get it out of him.
He doesn’t relent though, simply shrugs and places your hot chocolate on the table. “I don’t mind buying you things.”
“But whyyyy.” You whine, crossing your legs to face him on the sofa.
“I told you I’d bring you there if you go on a date with me.”
You stare at him, mind wandering to how easy it is for him to say this over and over again. You still don’t know why he’s suddenly so adamant about that, and while you actually do feel butterflies in your whole body everytime he does it, sometimes you wonder if he’s just messing with you.
Does he really mean it?
But if he does, wouldn’t he eventually be done with you because you keep on rejecting him?
But if you say yes and he’s actually just joking–what does that make you?
What if you try it out and it… messes things up?
You’re happy with whatever you have with him now, and you trust each other enough to know you are exclusive. Is there really any need to put a label between you two?
“Hey, you okay?” He asks, snapping you out of your daze.
“Huh. Yeah, sorry. You were saying?”
You see the way Wonwoo presses his lips together and you can tell the gears are turning in his head. But he beats you to it before you can ask, and your heart breaks a little at how soft he sounds.
“Am I making you uncomfortable?”
“What? No!” You sit straight, taken aback from the sudden turn of the conversation. “What makes you say that?”
Wonwoo sighs and repeats his words. But he faces you this time and, for the first time since he asked you the question he’s been asking you the past few months, it’s obvious how unsure he is, as if he’s suddenly questioning himself on what he’s been doing.
“Am I making you uncomfortable by asking you out on a date?”
“Oh… Wonwoo…” You take his hand, your desire to comfort him bigger than anything. You don’t like seeing him like this, and as much as your own thoughts have been haunting you, you suppose you do need to talk about it one way or another. “No, you’re not. But… Can I ask you something?”
He doesn’t answer, but you take the way he squeezes your hand as a ‘yes’.
“Why?”
He doesn’t seem to get your question, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. “What do you mean why?”
“Why do you suddenly want to date me?”
It’s almost comical the way he blinks slowly, then repeatedly, like he doesn’t get why you’d ask that. He thinks carefully before he says his next words though, and he mentally winces at what he’s about to say but there’s really no other way to say it.
“We’ve been… sleeping together for, like, six months.” He starts, and his face contorts like the words personally offend him. But the more you listen to him talk about all the things you’ve been doing the past few months, how you’re basically a couple without the title, the more you feel both warm and afraid about however this talk is going to end.
You don’t realize you’ve been holding his hand tighter, but he doesn’t say anything and you realize how protective you actually feel of Wonwoo because it doesn’t sit well with you that he seems to consider himself so small.
“It’s not… sudden. I’ve just finally gathered enough courage to ask you.”
“I’m afraid.” You throw it out there the moment you open your mouth, not sure how to tell him except to just go straight to the point.
“Of what?”
“Falling in love.” You cast your eyes down to where your hand and his are joined. “Of being attached to you.”
For a moment, the air around you seems to tense ten-fold that you’re sure you can cut through it with a knife. But when Wonwoo doesn’t say anything, you brace yourself for more honesty and continue.
“I’m… already attached to you more than I thought I could be with anyone. And it scares me sometimes. What if you leave me? I think I’d be able to cope better if you decide to end things with our current… relationship than an actual one. It scares me.”
You feel his hand letting go of yours, and you panic that he’s finally had enough, but he cups your face in his palms to calm you down, and as much as you’re anxious, you can feel yourself calming under his gaze.
“If you want me to be honest, I think I already like you more than whatever you probably feel for me.” He smiles so softly you almost cry. And when you’re about to refute his words, he gently places his finger on your lips to keep you silent. “And no, that’s not something I want to debate with you. I’m fine with liking you more. I want to like you more than you like me. Will you let me do that?”
You open your mouth to say something–anything, but nothing comes out except for your tears so you simply nod and fall into his embrace. Your tears dry up almost immediately after that, but you sniffle a little as his words echo in your mind. Wonwoo probably doesn’t know what he’s talking about, because you’ve liked him for as long as you can remember. Probably not long after you started your deal with him.
He doesn’t know how you melt every time he takes care of you. How you’d try to stay awake longer after he falls asleep after another night of passionate sex, his arm over your body and your back against his chest, just so you can pretend it’s real between you two. How you’d remind yourself that it’s not real when you wake up in his place even though you’d still drag yourself out to make breakfast for him, willing your heart to calm down when he wakes up moments later, hugging you from behind even though you tell him to move away.
You probably already love him more than he can imagine.
“What are you doing tomorrow?” You ask once you’ve calmed down, getting out of his embrace to look into his eyes.
“Nothing. Why?” He tilts his head, a little confused at the sudden change of topic.
“Let’s go on a date?” You ask shyly, though your eyes immediately cast downwards again once you realized you can’t handle looking him in the eye as you ask him this. But that’s why you missed the way his face blooms into a grin, missed the way his eyes suddenly twinkle brighter than every single star in the universe combined. “I think you promised to tell me where you buy those cookies if I go on a date with you.”
He laughs at that and throws his arms around you, so tight that it hurts a little. But you don’t say anything, happy that you’re here in his arms and a little giddy now that everything’s out of your chest.
Wonwoo pulls away and cups your face once again, then searches for something in your face before he closes his eyes and gives you the softest kiss you’ve ever experienced in your life. A promise. One that says he’s not going to leave and he’s going to try his best to remove every single doubt you have in your mind.

a/n: i love seeing these requests so much, please leave as many as you want, this one is so sweet 🫶🫶 i wanted to recreate the funny scene when may walked in on athena in bobby’s turnout 😭
the grants were sitting in the kitchen waiting for another delicious meal from bobby to be ready to eat. athena was sitting down, playing a card game with her two children as bobby was stirring a boiling pot. sharing stories about their days, athena begins her own.
“the station welcomed a new recruit today,” athena starts while cleaning up the cards. “i think i was telling you about her.”
“y/n? i remember you told me she was going to be working there, i just didn’t know she’d be with you.”
“she’s not riding along with me, but we’ve spoken a lot. she reminds me of myself. she’s young but one of the most determined ones i’ve seen. i think she has a lot of great potential.”
“maybe you should bring her along one day,” bobby suggests. “she sounds cool, you should bring her to the station one night for dinner there.”
“i’ll have to check her schedule. she’s trying to get more comfortable in LA, so that could help her. give her some friends,” athena says. “i know she came here to get away for a bit, i’m not sure why but i think something at home.”
“might wanna be careful bringing her, now that i’m thinking about it.”
“what makes you say that?” she asks.
“i’m worried someone might take a liking to her. buck loves you, and he reminds me of myself. and if she’s really similar to you…” athena walks over to bobby, giving him a light kiss before beginning again. “i’ll see what her timing is, i’ll let you know so you can tame the lion.”
the next day at work, y/n walks in uniform with her chunky belt with her gear. she sweetly says good morning to the people at the front with a cup of coffee before returning to her bosses office. “y/n?” she hears someone say from behind her.
“sergeant grant! hello, i was just about to go get started,” y/n says politely to her superior.
“you can call me athena, officer.”
“ok, athena,” y/n has a bright smile that could be the source of light to the room. “is there anything i can do for you?”
“no, you’re all set. just making sure things are good for you here,” athena knows that she’s strong despite the kindness act she puts on. she’s seen she’s not afraid to stand up for herself against all the men at the station. similar to herself, she’s ready for anything god throws at her. “if you get off earlier tonight, i was going to the 118. my husband is bobby nash, and he’s having dinner. i thought it would be a good place for you to settle in.”
“that sounds great, athena. i get off a bit earlier today.”
“good,” athena says with a thin grin. “i’ll see you then, y/l/n.”
they both walk away, going to do their paperwork and jobs of the day. on the first call, they had to deal with a specific threat, making two arrests as y/n shoved them back into the car.
she had easily clicked into her workplace, impressing everyone with her skill and ease with the job. her quick thinking came in extreme need, and athena knew she was going to be one of the best eventually.
after another call, the fire department had been at a site of a crash with drunk driving robbers. the police had been called to observe the suspects and ask them questions about the accident and even before that. after some of the crash on the street was cleaned up, y/n had been on the side, informing dispatch on the current nature of the situation. she was hanging around near one of the trucks when a man, couldn’t have been over 30, walked over to her.
“hey,” he says with a seducing smile, looking her uniform up and down. “i haven’t seen you around yet.”
“i’ve just started working here, i was a cop before but i recently moved here.”
“you liking it? LA can be a lot,” he tells her. “i’m evan buckley, 118. buck.”
y/n smiles and shakes his hand. “you’re from 118? athena and bobby invited me over for dinner tonight.”
“y-you’re y/n?” buck asks, a little surprised. she’s gorgeous, her hair was done back in neat braids. her uniform complemented her well, making her look like a boss, but also looks sweet with her bright smile and laugh. buck noticed her beauty and grace in handling herself.
athena and bobby stood to the side, meeting up at the end of the shift. “i think it’s too late,” bobby says, pointing to y/n and buck flirting very clearly to everyone but themselves. athena would never admit it, but she was actually happy. she thought buck needed woman like her, and she needed one like buck, and after a whole night of convincing each other before bed, they finally decided to take up a new career in match making.
the dinner had gone well, the team asking y/n about her past and why she wanted to become a cop. someone in particular was mesmerized by her stories. “so, y/n, where did you grow up?” eddie asks.
“i was raised in boston, and i went to suffolk for criminal justice,” y/n says. “i knew i wanted to help people, and i came to LA as an escape honestly. just try something new.”
they all nod and smile as they finish their food, laughing about shared stories and the two spend the night eyeing each other.
a couple months had gone by, and buck and y/n had been better close. very close. they were seeing each other almost every day, meeting up outside work to see each other. for being a bad liar, buck was hiding their relationship very well. they started dating a few weeks after the dinner, and no one had any idea. or at least they thought.
buck was definitely head over heels for y/n. she was a person who dominated wherever she was, but carried herself around with respect and a soothing personality. coming home from work, she was always a person to talk to. her sweet and gentle words were always a comfort to him. he thought she was the most lovely person ever.
y/n was obsessed with buck after she met him. he was incredibly charming, being able to light up a room at any time. being able to spend time with him at the end of their shifts was truly the highlight of her day, and she hadn’t felt this happy in a long time. he helped her get settled in the new city that she was venturing. he was always a shoulder to lean on during the bad days, and one to celebrate with after the good ones.
chimney and maddie had been driving over to bucks apartment. they had all agreed to have dinner together so she could spend time with her little brother.
buck on the other hand, had been too preoccupied to remember the plans.
y/n was dressed in a lace bra and panties set, wearing bucks work shirt with his name and badge on it. she was sitting on top of the counter with buck standing between her legs.
when chimney and maddie walked in, they saw bucks bare back, and both of their half-naked bodies. luckily, buck still had his boxers on, and y/n had his shirt. her arms were wrapped around his shoulders, a pair of handcuffs in her hands. “oh my god! evan!” maddie shouted and buck turned around.
“jesus, maddie!” he yelled and his immediate instinct was to cover up y/n. “what are you doing here?”
“some of us had dinner plans,” chimney adds, watching in a humorous way.
“you had dinner plans?” y/n asks.
buck throws his head back in frustration. “im sorry, guys, i completely forgot.”
“clearly.” maddie and chim say, together. “we’re going to go in the hall, give you a minute. while i call bobb-“ chim starts.
“no! do not call bobby because then he and athena will hate me!”
“i think athena would fire me,” y/n says.
“are you kidding? they’ve been trying to force you two together for months!”
y/n and buck give each other a confused look because they both thought they’d want them separate. surely, they weren’t stopping it but they especially didn’t think they would encourage it. they start laughing at each other hysterically at the thought of their superiors trying to get them hooked up. maddie and chimney exit in a hurry, leaving to the hallway.
“well, wanna continue?” buck asks and y/n gives him a questioning look.
“we have like 2 minutes, babe,” she smiles. “i don’t know if we have time.”
“you doubting me?” he says, leaning back in and kissing her again.
“prove me wrong, then,” she smirks and they spend their few minutes not wasting a second.
“bobby! sorry to bother you tonight, but you’re gonna want to hear this!” chim says after calling the captain.
bobby hangs up the phone, and is sitting next to the athena on their couch. athena hears the whole conversation. “i’ll quit my job if you quit yours, and we can start our own business.”
“agreed,” athena says, giving bobby a high-five at their dating app skills. “i will say i’m surprised they kept it a secret. she did seem a bit more upbeat though.”
“so what’s next? getting them engaged?”
“ok, woah. let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. we’ll give ‘em a bit i guess.”
“fine, but i’m getting every detail about this tomorrow from him.”
“i’ll get it from y/n, we will reconvene after a short recess.”

summary: you’ve been going to the same gym for a while now, crushing on the same girl who’s always there but never actually talking to her. that is, until the letters start appearing in your locker
word count: 2k
warnings: none
a/n: ahh it’s been a minute since i’ve written for angela, i love her so much. i kinda put a little twist on this and i hope you enjoy this!! also fem!reader!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~°~❦~°~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     You saw her immediately after you walked in.
     Gym girl, you’d started calling her. You’d seen her the past seven times you’d been to this gym. Sometimes she was already working out when you arrived, sometimes she she got there just as you were heading home.
     You’d said nothing more to each other than the occasional ‘what’s up’ or ‘hey can I use those 20s when you’re done with them?’ or ‘mornings am i right’
     But you’d remembered every interaction you’d had with her.
     She had short, brown hair and always wore the same baseball cap and white tank top almost every time you’d seen her.
     Now though, as you watched her on the elliptical, you saw that she wore a light blue zip-up hoodie overtop it.
     You stepped up onto the treadmill, your back facing her as you began your workout.
     You’d started to come to the gym at the same time every day, knowing you’d see the woman if you did.
     Okay, now that you said all of this to yourself in your head, it sounded mildly stalker-ish.
     But you couldn’t help it, she was so gorgeous that you were drawn to her.
     Every time you came here, you tried to think of something interesting to say to her. Something to start a conversation, more than just a couple words.
     But what would you even say?
     Hey, I think you’re really cute and I’ve been watching you work out for weeks, wanna go out sometime?
     Gym girl suddenly appeared in your peripheral vision, getting on the treadmill next to you.
     You turned to her, seeing she was already looking at you, and shot her a quick smile.
     “So, you come here often?” She said, beginning to pick up the pace, now moving at a swift jog.
     “Well, um,” you started, caught off guard. “I guess? I mean, I try to hit the gym every day if I can.”
     “That was supposed to be a joke,” she grinned. “Y’know, cause we’re always here at the same time. Not my best material, I’ll admit.”
     “No, it was good,” you chucked, giving her a reassuring smile. “Treadmill brain.”
     “Real,” she agreed, before turning back to her machine.
     You smoothed down you hair, suddenly aware of the hasty ponytail you had thrown your hair up in before you had left.
     You bumped up the speed to 10mph, running faster now.
     “So? You always go this fast?” The woman asked you, looking over at the screen on your treadmill.
      “Oh, yeah,” you got out, lying through your teeth as you fought for breath. “I love running.”
      “Well, props to you, cause I max out at 4,” she breathed.
     “Well in that case,” you slowed down the speed of the treadmill. “So do I.”
     You both burst out laughing.
     You couldn’t stop the smile from forming on your face. This was the longest conversation you’d had with gym girl. It only took a week, but you were finally having a conversation with her.
     And she was funny and charming and kind.
     “What?” She looked at you quizzically.
     “Nothing,” you covered. “It’s just, I always feel so much better when I’m at the gym. It’s relaxing.”
     “I feel ya, sister,” Angela nodded her head. “It’s nice to get away from work and just focus.”
      You braved asking her an actual question. “So, what do you do for work?”
      “I’m in digital media,” she answered. “Entertainment. What about you?”
      You told her what you did while you both ran, your legs in sync. She took off her sweater, throwing it to the side and revealing the white shirt she always wore.
      You went on like this for many minutes, working out in silence, in each other’s company.
     There were may other people in the gym, but you hardly noticed them. You were only focused on yourself and the woman next to you.
     Finally, after an hour or so had passed, the woman stopped running and stepped off the treadmill, grabbing her sweatshirt and throwing it over her shoulder.
     She ran a hand through her hair, looking towards you. “Well, I think I’m going to head out. I’ll see you later.”
     “See ya,” you called to her as she walked away.
     You realized you had never caught her name.
     Your head was filled with thoughts of gym girl as you made your way to the locker room sometime later. You couldn’t wait to see her again. Not only because you thought she was the most attractive person you had ever seen, but also because you had enjoyed talking to her and you wanted to do it again.
     You made your way to your own locker, passing the one you knew was her’s and opening the door.
     As you did, a small slip of paper fell out. You picked it up off the floor.
     Roses are red, violets are blue, I had an amazing time working out with you.  —A
     Your heart beat faster. Whoever had written this must’ve slipped it in one of the holes at the top of your locker.
     You immediately thought of gym girl. Could it have been from her? You dared to hope, even though you tried to tell yourself there was no way it was from her.
     Then again, you didn’t know her name. It could’ve started with an ‘A’.
     You stood there for a moment, contemplating this, before you finished gathering your things and headed out of the building.
     You couldn’t wait for tomorrow. You couldn’t wait to see her again.
₊˚ ✧ ‿︵‿୨୧‿︵‿ ✧ ₊˚
     Tomorrow ended up being kind of a bust.
     The woman was there, but other than a quick ‘hey’ and an expectant look at you which you couldn’t decipher, she kept to herself and you didn’t cross paths.
     You had looked forward to talking with her again. And also finding out if she was the one who’d left the note in your gym locker.
      But, when she didn’t approach you, you gave up and left to go get changed.
     You opened your locker to another note, this time catching it before it hit the ground.
     Daisies are yellow, tulips are pink, you looked even cuter today than yesterday, i think. —A
      You smiled at the rhyme. It was corny, but you got the feeling the author knew that, and that just made it even better. You thought it was sweet, that someone would go out of their way to do this for you.
     And you couldn’t pretend you didn’t desperately hope that that someone was gym girl.
    That was pretty much the thought that occupied your mind all week, 24/7, as you kept receiving the notes. You had collected six more of them, all rhyming, and had still yet to discover who actually was giving them to you.
     After that one conversion you’d had with gym girl, you’d yet to talk again. You had tried to make yourself go talk to her multiple times, but she always looked busy or uninterested and you always got in your own head about it.
     What if she wasn’t the one writing you the notes? Just because it made sense, didn’t mean it was the case.
     It didn’t look like you were going to get an answer to that question anytime soon.
     Until finally, one Friday, as you went to put your stuff in your locker before you started your workout, you saw her.
     Gym girl. She was walking towards her locker, looking like she was in a rush.
     You quickly stepped behind a pillar, safely out of sight.
     You watched her set her own stuff down, before hurrying over to your locker. You held your breath. You watched as she pulled a slip of paper out of her pocket, and slipped it into your locker.
     Your heart soared. So it was her! You were beginning to worry that it was just some gym creep!
     She began to walk in your direction, and you hurried into a bathroom stall a few feet away, letting her pass.
     Once you were sure she had exited the locker room, you left your hiding spot.
     You set your stuff in your own locker, stopping to read her note.
     Lemons are sour, so is the lime, I’d really like to go out with you sometime. —A
      You held the scrap of paper to your chest. Now that you knew for sure that it was her who was writing these, you let yourself get all giddy.
      She wanted to go out with you! She thought you were cute!
     You walked towards the exit door, feeling more confident and sure than you had before. You were going to walk up to gym girl and talk to her. Maybe even ask her out.
     You were about to walk out the door when you realized you were will wearing the pajama pants you had worn there.
     Right after you changed!
₊˚ ✧ ‿︵‿୨୧‿︵‿ ✧ ₊˚
     You spotted her instantly amongst the dozens of other people working out. She seemed to stand out, but maybe that was just because you were looking.
     “Hey,” you approached her, sitting down on the weight bench next to hers.
     “Sup,” She looked up at you, a question in her eyes. She had a light sheen of sweat on her bare arms and you had the sudden urge to rub your hands all over her.
      Focus! You told yourself.
     “Hey, can you help me with something?” You asked her, your heart racing.
     “Need me to spot you?” She asked.
     “No, not exactly,” you answered.
     “Good, cause I don’t know what that means,” she shrugged. “What do you need?”
     “Well,” you started. “There’s this song that’s stuck in my head—and has been for days—but I can’t figure out what it is. I was wondering if you might know.”
     “Shoot. I’m a walking Shazam,” the woman rested her chin in her hand.
     “It goes a little something like this,” you said, pretending to think. “Roses are red. Violets are blue…”
     You watched as her eyes widened, searching yours for a sign.
     “…and then something about working out and a cute lemon?” You finished.
     “I don’t know if I know that one,” Angela breathed.
     You shrugged. “Probably just some cheesy rhyme I heard somewhere,”
     “Hey!” She smiled. “I put—I mean, whoever wrote that, probably put a lot of time and thought into it.”
      You giggled. “Shakespeare would be proud.”
     “How long did you know it was me?” She asked you.
     “Not until today,” you answered honestly. “But I’d kinda hoped.”
     Her eyes snapped up to yours.
     “But then I thought, there’s no way the girl I’ve been too scared to talk to cause she’s so cute, is the same one who’s been writing me love poems,” you finished.
     The girl smiled, “I kinda figured I was being really obvious. When you never said anything, I thought maybe you thought they were lame—I mean, you were so cool and pretty and can run a lot faster than me.”
     You shook your head. How could this woman, who was so gorgeous and charming and perfect, have been worried that you wouldn’t like her?
     “I can’t run that fast,” you teased her. “I was just trying to impress you, remember?”
     “Oh yeah? Well, maybe we could go running together sometime and you can prove it to me.”
     She paused.
     “And by running, I mean like a coffee shop or something.”
     You booth laughed and you nodded. “I’d like that. I’d like that a lot.”
     “It’s a date then,” she said, standing up and letting your shoulders brush as she walked past you.
     You couldn’t believe it. Gym girl thought you were pretty. You were going on a date with her. Which reminded you…
     “I never did catch your name,” you called to her, as she began walking away.
     She turned around. “Angela. It’s Angela.”
     A.
     “I’m (Y/n).”
     “Well (Y/n), I’ll see you around,” she said, winking at you as she walked backwards.
     “Same time tomorrow?” You called.
     She grinned. “Same time tomorrow.”
a/n: yes yes yes a thousand times yes!! this is gonna be so cute🥺 since this was based off the idea of your first time as a couple i wanted to make it very soft and loving. in this fic yall aren't just fucking, yall are making love, bc i'm a super mushy and soft person. i think there's nothing more beautiful than soft loving sex, so that's what i wanted to capture here. also! let's pretend the events of tlou2 never happened here :))
The night you met Ellie was nothing short of beautiful. It may have been dark out but the stars were shining like diamonds hung in the sky. Even more beautiful than the stars was the way they reflected in Ellie’s eyes when Dina introduced you to her. Dina had asked you to meet up with her outside the hall where the town dance was going to be so she could introduce you to one of her friends. You could’ve sworn your heart stopped the moment she introduced you to her. Had you ever seen someone so beautiful? You didn’t think you ever had. Something about the way her eyes sparkled, the pieces of bright auburn hair that framed her face despite the fact it was tucked away in a bun. She wore a light blue flannel with a white top and plain jeans, and you were immediately enticed by the tattoo covering her skin.
It was hard to talk to her at first, feeling your tongue falter every time you tried, but you powered through your introduction. You entered the hall with her and Dina before losing them and deciding to get yourself a drink. You had been sitting at the bar for a while, watching everyone dance, including Dina and Jesse. Jackson was very different compared to anywhere else you had lived in your life. People actually enjoyed life and got to live it. It was unfamiliar and somewhat uncomfortable to you because you had never experienced that before, but it offered you something new: the opportunity to do it yourself. Maybe while here you could actually build some kind of life. Your thoughts were interrupted when Ellie approached you again at the bar.
“Hey,” she said.
“Hey,” you replied.
“You look a little lonely,” she commented.
“In a bad way?” you asked teasingly.
“No, of course not. I just mean you’re sitting here all by yourself.”
“Oh, yeah. I’m just not used to these types of things, is all.”
“Me neither,” she said. “I don’t usually come to these things, but I came because Dina begged me to.”
“Same here. This is my first time coming to something like this.”
“You’re new here to Jackson, right?” she asked.
“Yeah. I’ve only been here for five months. I barely met Dina two months ago.”
“Well, welcome to the community,” she said. “I’ve been here about five years now.”
“Fives,” you observed. Ellie smiled a bit at the small synchronicity you pointed out.
“Do you… wanna dance?” Ellie asked. Your heart felt like it was going to explode inside your body, but you nodded at her question.
“I’d love to.”
A bright smile erupted on your face when Ellie extended her hand out to you, and without hesitation you took it into yours. You stared at her back as she led you out onto the dance floor, and you felt like your heart was pumping a mile a minute. Once she led you to a decent spot she liked, she turned back to face you, putting two hands on your waist within seconds. The song playing was slow but lovely, and you stared into her face like you were viewing a piece of artwork. You wondered if this was how people felt when they went to those old art museums they had before the outbreak. Did their hearts swell like this? Did they stare at those paintings like every second mattered? You felt yourself drawn to her, like you were being pulled into her in a way you never had with anyone before. She led the way as she swayed with you side to side, your hands resting on her shoulders. She looked into your eyes, and you felt like you could see the same thoughts as yours in her head. The way the lights hung up all throughout the hall shone in her eyes just like stars made your breath catch in your throat.
“I’m not much of a dancer,” she apologized, “but I hope I’m doing alright.”
“You’re doing great, don’t worry,” you reassured her. And you weren’t lying. She was doing more than a good job at leading you and keeping up with the rhythm.
“Thanks,” she laughed. “I’m really nervous.”
“Me too. This is quite the way to meet someone,” you said.
“Definitely,” she agreed, “but I have a feeling I’m gonna know you for a long time.”
From that day forward you got to know Ellie more and more, starting off as friends, but it wasn’t long until your friendship developed into something more. She looked so shy when she brought you a personally-made bouquet of flowers and asked you to be her girlfriend. How could you say no to her when she looked so sweet and adorable when she asked you? It didn’t take you long to throw your arms around her in a tight hug and give her your yes.
Ellie was a sweetheart. That was the only way you could describe her. She may have been tough and intimidating on the outside, but on the inside she was so soft. When the two of you started off as friends she let you in on all her interests: space, art, dinosaurs, music, her guitar. You fell in love with every part of her that you got to know, cherishing every moment spent with her. You had never known such sweetness, especially since you had spent most of your life going from town to town since you lived in a world with flesh-eating monsters. For once in your life you were experiencing stability, and you were growing to love it more and more.
There was just one problem—well, you wouldn’t call it a problem, maybe just a bump in the road—which was the fact that nearly three months into your relationship with Ellie and the two of you hadn’t had sex yet. It’s not that either of you didn’t want to, but you just weren’t ready yet. You weren’t innocent, and you knew what sex was and all about it from old books you read growing up, but that didn’t mean you were ready to do it. Sometimes while kissing things would get hot and heavy, and although you did want her, you would simply ask her to slow down and tell her you weren’t ready. She, of course, would kiss your forehead and tell you it was okay.
“Are you mad at me?” you asked her once after turning down sex. You were sitting on her bed after playing a video game when the two of you started kissing and it seemed like the possibility of having sex was getting nearer. You asked her to stop, and she did as soon as you asked, asking you what else you'd like to do instead. She had just come back from grabbing her controllers for you two to play again when you dropped the question on her.
“What?” she asked. She looked at you as if you had just asked her the most outrageous and absurd question.
“You know, because I don’t want to have sex yet?”
“No, of course not, baby. Why would I be mad at you for that?” She sat down beside you and looked deeply into your eyes as she talked to you.
“I don’t know. I mean, I can tell you want to have sex, and I’m just worried I’m disappointing you.”
“Not at all.” She placed a kiss on your forehead then layered kiss after kiss on your cheeks. You let out a small chuckle at the feeling, and the amount of butterflies and warmth and light filling you up was overwhelming. “We’ll have sex whenever you’re ready, babe. It doesn’t matter to me when that is, and I’ll never be mad at you for not wanting to have sex at any point in our relationship.”
“Thank you,” you said to her. You gave her a peck on the lips. “I’ve never been able to take anything slow. I’ve always been on the run, trying to find someplace safe to stay. Being able to actually live and not just survive here in Jackson is new to me.”
“I understand. Take all the time you need.” She gave you another kiss, and after a few more rounds of her game she asked if you’d like to go to sleep. After you said yes she turned off her lamp and pulled you close to her body to go to sleep for the night. It was nice to have her hold you, to feel how warm she was against you. You loved the feeling of the non-sexual intimacy you got to experience with her because it meant the world to you. You felt safe for the first time in your life while in her arms, and the way that feeling of security washed over you was enough for tears to prick your eyes.
It had been three months now, and you were starting to open up to the idea more and more. You were going to spend the night at Ellie’s again, and you were planning on bringing up the conversation to her before the end of the night. You felt the anxiety bubbling up inside you throughout the day, but it wasn’t exactly the bad kind as you were also very excited.
You got to Ellie’s place a little earlier than usual, but she welcomed you in with a huge hug nonetheless. You dropped your bag of clothes for the night by her bed as you flopped down onto the mattress.
“You got the movie?” you asked.
“Hell, yes, I do,” Ellie answered. She held up the copy of Labyrinth she had borrowed from Joel. “I know how much my girl wanted to see this. We gotta thank Joel for telling us about this movie.” Your heart skipped a beat at the phrase. My girl. You couldn’t help but wonder if she’d praise you and say such sweet things like that during sex. You pushed the thought away as you got up from her bed and grabbed your bag.
“I’m gonna change into my pajamas real quick,” you explained.
“Okay, go ahead, babe,” she said. You walked into her bathroom and changed into the longsleeve and the pair of shorts you brought before returning to Ellie’s room. As you got back in bed you watched as she popped the movie in the DVD player by her TV before settling in bed beside you. She adjusted the blankets around your bodies as she opened up her arms for you to nestle into her side. You happily obliged as you felt her arm resting over your shoulder while the movie started. She was so warm and comforting. In that moment you were sure without a doubt that you loved her, more sure of anything than you’d ever been in your life.
You didn’t stir much while watching the movie, and instead you were just content to cuddle with her during it. You really enjoyed the film, but what you liked most of all was experiencing it with her. Once the movie was over Ellie took care of everything and put the movie back up in its case. She did leave her TV on in case the two of you decided to play video games or something of the like.
“Okay, what are you in the mood to do now?” she asked, just like she always did. She told you she liked to do things at your pace, and that whatever you wanted goes. You battled yourself internally. Should you bring it up now? Should you wait? You glanced at Ellie’s clock. It was 10:15. You might as well.
“Um, can I talk to you about something?” you asked. Ellie figured it was pretty serious, so she shut her TV off before coming back to sit in bed next to you. The only thing illuminating her room now was her bedside lamp. She was a little nervous because she had no idea what kind of conversation to anticipate, but she didn’t show the worry on her face. Instead, she just held your hands in hers.
“What is it, babe?”
You felt your cheeks growing hot at the thought of what you were about to ask her, but you wanted to so badly. It’s going to be okay. It’s going to be alright, you told yourself. You were in good hands with Ellie, and you had never felt safer with anyone before. You took a deep breath.
“I wanted to tell you that I think I’m ready to have sex with you.” Ellie hadn’t expected that, but she was still going to make sure to comfort you. You did seem nervous to even bring it up in the first place, and she knew sex was something you wanted to take your time with.
“Okay,” she said. “But are you one-hundred percent sure? I just wanna make sure you’re comfortable.”
“I’m very sure,” you said. “I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I’m only nervous because of the fact I’ve never had sex before.”
“Hey, that’s okay. I’ve only done it once before, so I’m not exactly an expert,” she joked.
“Someone as gorgeous as you?” you asked. She got shy at that, looking away from your eyes.
“Stop, you’re trying to fluster me,” she said. “Back to the subject at hand. I just want you to know that at any point if you want to stop, don’t be afraid to tell me. Or if you want me to do something else, tell me, okay? It’s all about you.” You felt her rubbing her thumb against the skin of your hand, the motion comforting your anxieties. It kept you grounded.
“I can do that,” you replied. She smiled at you, one of her hands coming up to caress your cheek.
“I love you so much,” she said. And with the way she looked at you, you believed it and felt it deep within you.
“I love you too.” You loved to see Ellie’s smile, the way her face lit up, how her cheeks blushed and colored the skin around her freckles. “You’re so beautiful,” you whispered.
“Me?” she asked. “Have you seen yourself?”
You didn’t know what to say, or how to respond to the compliment, so instead you said, “Kiss me.” You felt Ellie’s other hand come up to cup your face as she pulled you into a kiss. It was sweet and soft just like her lips, but within time you felt the kiss start to intensify. Her tongue swiped at your lips, then against your own, before you eventually let her in and felt her tongue exploring your mouth. She was intense and beautiful and loving and she was all yours. Her hands wandered from your face down to your shirt as she grabbed the hem to pull it off. The two of you pulled away from the kiss so she could pull your shirt over your head and to pull off her gray hoodie. You noticed she had on a sports bra paired with her boxers at the same time she noticed you weren’t wearing a bra at all, a sigh absentmindedly left her lips.
“No bra, baby?” she asked teasingly, her hands ghosting over your breasts.
“Like what you see?” you asked. Ellie smiled, and instead of replying with words, her lips were back on yours in an instant. She hadn’t expected you wouldn’t be wearing a bra, but she wasn’t going to complain. She loved seeing you like this, and especially since it was the first time she felt there was a certain type of sacredness to it. Her hands gently fondled your breasts as she kissed you, slowly leaning forward and laying you down onto her mattress. Once you were settled she started kissing you from your neck down to your breasts.
“So beautiful,” she whispered against your skin. The praise made you feel shy, but as soon as you felt her kissing your breasts that feeling disappeared. All you could think about was her mouth on your tits, the feeling as she bit down and left small hickies behind. After a few more kisses she took one of your nipples into her mouth, swirling her tongue around it. A small whine left your mouth at the feeling, and Ellie was glad she was making you feel good already. After she was done with one she moved onto the next breast, squeezing the other while she had one in her mouth. Once she was done she kissed from between your breasts down to your stomach, muttering quiet praises against each inch of your skin until she reached the waistband of your shorts.
“Can I take these off?” she asked. You nodded, but that wasn’t enough for her. “No, baby, I need to hear you say it.”
“Yes,” you answered. She smiled as she began to pull them off your body while you lifted up your hips a bit to help her. She kept your panties on as she retreated to between your thighs and began to kiss them. Her kisses were soft and loving as she looked up at you.
“What do you want, love?” she asked.
“You,” you answered.
“I know that, but what do you want me to do?”
You covered your face in embarrassment. “I want you to eat me out.”
Ellie noticed this and removed herself from between your legs and came back to your face. She grabbed ahold of your hands and began kissing them. “Don’t be embarrassed, okay? I’m here to take care of you. Everything’s going to be alright.” She placed a few kisses on your cheeks.
“Okay,” you responded. “I trust you.” She gave you a quick kiss on the lips before returning to her place between your thighs. As if she hadn’t interrupted herself, she resumed kissing up your thighs, savoring the warmth of your skin and the way you looked from her angle. There really was nothing more beautiful than it. She began kissing closer and closer to your center with soft, peppering lips. She placed a kiss on your vagina through your panties, and you could feel yourself getting even wetter than you already were. The anticipation was killing you, and you wondered how much longer she was going to tease you. Ellie placed another kiss, and that was when you felt her lick you through your panties. Because of the cloth you couldn’t feel her completely, but you could still feel how wet and hot her tongue was. She licked up your folds again, and again, pressing little kisses in between. Small whimpers were starting to leave your lips. She was teasing you and you needed her more than anything.
“What’s the matter?” she asked between kisses. She stared up at you from between your thighs. The look of love and lust in her eyes was making you feel weak.
“I need you,” you said hastily. “Please, take my panties off.” As soon as the words left your mouth she did as you asked, and within seconds her mouth returned to your pussy. She repeated the small licks she had done through your panties, but this time you could feel everything. The actual feeling was overwhelming, a moan leaving your lips almost immediately. Ellie was making her way through your folds, relishing in the fact you were soaking wet. She wanted every part of you, especially your taste. Your moans encouraged her as she started to suck on your clit, the new sensation enveloping your body in a way you had never felt before. Sure, you had masturbated before, but this was different—way, way different. Of course it was when you had the girl you loved more than anything between your thighs. She continued sucking on your clit, drawing more and more moans out of you. It felt so good; there were no words for it. Ellie moved her tongue in a way that had you seeing stars, your hands moving by themselves to grab onto her hair. That seemed to spur her on as she continued to eat you out like she was starving. You could hear the sounds of her sucking and kissing you, and the small groans she let out every once in a while that felt good against your sex.
You could feel yourself getting closer with every stroke of her tongue, and Ellie could tell. You were gripping onto her hair in a way that let her know how good you were feeling. She unwrapped one of her hands from around your thigh, gazing in awe as one of her fingers slid inside you with no resistance. You were so wet, and she curled her finger as she moved it in and out of you slowly. The feeling of her sucking on your clit and fingering you at the same time was overwhelming, and you could feel yourself coming undone with each stroke of her fingers.
“Oh, fuck,” you moaned, Ellie’s name escaping your lips in the process. She was making you feel so good, all other thoughts escaping your mind. You felt her add another finger inside you, and the moans leaving your mouth now were absolutely dirty.
“That’s it, baby. Do you feel good?” Ellie asked. She already knew the answer, but she wanted to hear you say it.
“Yes, yes, yes. It feels so good.” You couldn’t control yourself or the things you were saying. All you knew is that you loved what Ellie was doing and the way it made you feel.
“I can feel how close you are,” Ellie said as her fingers continued to pump in and out of you. “I feel you tightening around my fingers.” She started to hit a spot deep in your walls that had you letting out even louder moans, and with each thrust of her fingers she could feel you getting wetter. It made her happy to make you feel so good.
“You’re doing so good, baby, just for me. You’re my good girl, right?”
“Yes!” you answered after another thrust from her fingers.
“Tell me how good you feel.”
“I feel so good, Ellie. God, it feels so good.” You could feel your orgasm coming with the way it was taking over your body, making you feel on edge and like your body was hot. Every praise from Ellie’s lips somehow made everything feel even better, and it was giving you the push you needed to reach your orgasm sooner.
“How close are you, love?”
“I’m so close,” you answered. “I’m gonna cum.”
“Cum for me right now, baby.” Ellie latched her lips back around your clit as she continued to finger you, pumping her fingers in and out of you so perfectly. And then you felt it: the tightening in your body, the way it rose up inside, bringing you closer and closer before it hit you. When you hit your climax it washed over you completely, taking over every single one of your senses like electricity as it hit its peak before slowly coming down. Ellie continued to finger you through your orgasm, making sure you felt good each step of the way. Once you stopped moaning and started catching your breath she pulled them out and stopped what she was doing. She placed a kiss on your thighs before moving to give you a kiss on the lips.
“Are you okay?” she asked.
“I’m more than okay.” You were both smiling like lovestruck idiots.
“Good. Listen, I’m gonna go get a towel to clean you up, but do you want anything else?”
“No, I’m okay,” you answered.
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” She got up from her bed and walked to her bathroom where you heard the water run for a little bit before she returned. She grabbed a t-shirt from a pile of clothes by her bed and slipped it on. You sat up in bed a little as she sat before you and cleaned between your legs. You couldn’t help but feel emotional at how loved it made you feel. Once she was done she put the towel on her bedside table and grabbed her hoodie. “Here, put this on,” she instructed. You did as she asked, and she looked absolutely elated to see you in her clothes.
“Where are my panties?” you asked.
“Oh,” she said. “Let me find them.” She looked around before finding them on the floor, handing them to you to slip on. You did so quickly and once you were done she was on you in no time and pulling you in for cuddles. She was placing kisses all over your face and held you tightly against her body. “Tell me how you’re feeling.”
“I’m feeling good,” you said. “I think I’m just tired now.”
“That happens,” she said. “You feel alright, though? Was there anything I did that you didn't like?”
“No. I felt more than good the entire time. You’re really sweet and caring.”
“Like I always say, anything for my girl.” She gave you a quick kiss on the lips.
“Do you want me to do anything for you?” you asked.
“Oh, no, not tonight,” she said. “I get pleasure just from getting you off, and tonight was about you. We can try some other time, okay?”
“Okay,” you agreed. “You make me feel so safe.” Maybe it’s because you were still basking in the feelings that come after an orgasm, or maybe it’s because you felt wildly closer to Ellie than before, but you just felt the need to tell her that.
“I’m glad, baby. All I wanna do is take care of you.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too. How about we call it a night and pass out together, huh?” Ellie asked.
“I’d like that.”
“Alright, let’s go to sleep, babe.” She reached over and switched her lamp off then grabbed her blanket and pulled it up over both your bodies. She wanted to make sure you were settled in her arms before falling asleep. There was nothing compared to the feeling of safety you got while sleeping in Ellie’s arms, and she felt there was nothing better than keeping you safe in them.
In Case You Didn’t Know
ft Jamie Drysdale
Tumblr media
a/n just a quick little blurb bc it’s all i’ve been thinking about lately and i wanted to start writing again
pairing: trevor zegras x reader
warnings: just kissing and pure fluff
summary: in which Trevor won’t let Jamie sing in the house, so y/n comes up with her own plan
~~~~~~~~~~~
“Trevor Zegras!” you yelled at your boyfriend as you shut the door this his place.
Trevor— who previously wore a shit eating grin, halted in his tracks to quickly mentally assess what he could’ve done wrong.
Nothing. He thought of nothing.
“Yes, my love?” Trevor asked warily.
“Jamie finally got the chorus down to the song he’s been working endlessly hard on, and you still won’t let him sing in the house?!”
Trevor’s tension left his body when he realized you weren’t angry angry at him, “He’s not a good singer, Y/N!”
Trevor walked up to you and placed his hands on your hips, pulling you in for a kiss. He thought your glare was precious, but only because it wasn’t from true rage. Now that glare? That glare was terrifying. You placed a hand on his chest to stop him from kissing you, and it was his turn to glare.
“Really?”
“I want to hear it!”
“He can play it all he wants, he’s just not a good singer!” Trevor laughed.
You rolled your eyes and yanked him back in by his shirt to kiss him quick. Trevor stumbled forward when you pulled away fast and left his grasp.
“Jamie!” you screamed for the other member of the house. Jamie came bouncing down the stairs, “Yes, dear?”
You and Trevor rolled your eyes playfully at the pet name. To Trevor, you were “my love.” To Jamie, you were “dear.” It started out as a joke when you and Trevor first got together, and it has evolved so much that you swatted at Trevor the first time he called you dear telling him it’s because “that’s Jamie’s nickname for me!”
“I wanna hear your song!”
Jamie smiled, “Really?!”
“Of course you big dork,” you laughed.
“No singing!” Trevor called out.
“Sit down and hush baby, just trust me on this,” you instructed.
Both Trevor and Jamie gave you inquisitive looks. You just said that Jamie wouldn’t be singing and asked if he was going to play the chorus, or start from the beginning of the song.
Jamie began strumming the opening verse to “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young. You smiled fondly at him, and at Trevor when you realized he was also softly smiling at his best friend finally feeling confident at player, then opened your mouth to sing.
“I can’t count the times, I almost said what’s on my mind, but I didn’t,” you sang quietly, semi adjusting your pitch to the key Jamie was playing in.
Trevor’s jaw dropped slightly and his eyes grew twice their size. Jamie stumbled in his picking to look at you, equally as wide eye.
“You can—“ Jamie stuttered out.
“Keep going!” you brushed off his comment.
Jamie told you he’s going to start over and began playing from the top. You finally found the right key to sing in to match well with Jamie’s playing at the chorus. “In case you didn’t know, baby I’m crazy ‘bout you. And I would be lyin’ if I said that I could live this life without you. Even though, I don’t tell you all the time. You had my heart a long, long time ago. In case you didn’t know.”
Trevor was looking at you so dumbstruck— you couldn’t help but laugh.
“You were great, Jamie!” you said while still laughing at Trevor.
“I was— I was great?! You were great! Did you know you could sing?!”
“I had an inkling of an idea,” you blushed.
“She had a… Trevor! Did you hear her?!”
Trevor used his arms to hold himself up as he inched his way across the couch cushions to get to your place on the ottoman, “That twang…”
“You’ve heard my southern accent come out before!”
“Yeah, but never like that! God you… Wow!”
“Oh yeah?” you smirked, heavily enjoying your boyfriend oogling over you.
“That pretty little mouth of yours does so many amazing things,” Trevor said breathlessly. He cupped your cheeks and slowly brought you into a slow kiss.
“Oh god, yuck!” Jamie groaned. “We were bonding! And then you became a pervert!”

Hello! I would like to submit a request for Elle Greenaway x fem!Reader. How about spending holidays with Elle trying to cheer her up after leaving the BAU/starting a new life together? Thank you for your time!
oooo the power this prompt holds…i’ve always wondered what might have happened to elle after she left
when memories snow ☆ e. greenaway
Tumblr media
ship elle greenaway x fem!reader
warnings slight angst, pre-established relationship, hurt/comfort but it’s definitely comfort, timeline’s a mess just pretend that the episode where elle quits aired in december and not october okay?, not beta-read
word count 895
summary after elle quits the BAU following the events of s2:e5, reader tries to cheer her up during the holidays.
a/n yeah the title is a mitski reference, dont blame me i love her <3 also this is just propaganda to get y’all to watch The Apartment dir. Billy Wilder (1960) bc it’s a cute christmas movie! merry christmas to those who celebrate, and happy holidays !!
Tumblr media
When the cold night air nips at your skin while waiting outside of Elle’s apartment, you’re glad you remembered to bring thick sweaters.
It was a spur of the moment decision to show up unannounced. That is made clear when Elle answered to your knocks and opened the door. She isn’t really enthusiastic to see you; which you can understand. Her quitting from the FBI is a fresh wound, and she had only told you of her leave through a midnight text a couple nights ago.
In short, she wasn’t expecting you here, especially in the middle of the night and while a budding snowstorm is brewing.
“What are you doing here?” The question isn’t aggressive; none of what she has ever said to you has been aggressive in tone. No, it was genuine, like she really is wondering why you’re at her apartment.
You gesture to a spare sweater nestled in your arms. “It’s the holidays,” you reply. “I wanna spend them with you.”
Elle sighs and steps aside, allowing you in. You go inside and the first thing you notice upon entry are the few packed and sealed boxes in the corner, assuming they’re untouched incase your girlfriend needed to move again. You eye them but decide not to bring it up; after all, the last thing Elle would want with all she’s been through in a short time span is you criticizing her.
She glances at the fuzzy sweater you’re wearing. “Does it itch?” she questions as she closes and locks the door, trapping the cold air outside.
You look down and straighten the dark green wool with your free hand. “Actually, it’s really soft.” You extend the crimson sweater in your arm to her. “I brought one for you!”
Seeing how happy you are, she takes the sweater and pulls it over her head; the red suits her perfectly. “Thank you,” Elle says, letting her hand run over the fabric on her arm. Her faint smile fades into a light scowl. “I’m sorry.”
“For what?” you ask.
“I didn’t tell you sooner.”
You stand there quietly, breaking the eye contact you had for a second before meekly assuring, “Do you wanna talk about it?”
The second when you stop talking, Elle moves to the living room and you follow behind closely. “I don’t think you came all the way here just to hear me whine,” she chuckles lightly.
“Okay, well,” you were originally assuming that she would turn you away at the door; now, you hadn’t envisioned you would get this far. Suddenly, you have an idea. “Do you still have those hot cocoa packets?”
She raised an eyebrow at your question. “Yeah…why, do you want some?”
“I’ll make it!” you yell as you run into the kitchen, leaving her behind. You’re lucky to have already memorized where everything in the kitchen is, being that this is only your third visit to her apartment. You turned on the electric kettle and collected two mugs and two hot chocolate packets, alongside some small marshmallows which took some time to find. Despite how often Elle would be away from her apartment, her kitchen is surprisingly well-stocked.
After you pour the hot water and contents of the packets into the mugs, you collect them and make your way back to the living room. Elle, now seated on the couch with a wooly blanket draped over one leg, stares at you as you carefully hand her the mug.
The cocoa, as delicious as it smells, is still burning hot, but that tidbit of information slipped your mind as you took a small sip, only to burn your tongue and jerk your head back. Elle chuckled at your reaction and while you’re happy to hear her laughter, you’re also playfully offended by her apparent sadism.
You slap her shoulder lightly as you sit down next to her, leaning your torso against her warm body. She responds with a joking “ouch” as she softly blows on her hot chocolate. You pull the blanket over to cover both sets of legs.
Elle sets her mug down and grabs the remote. “What d’you wanna watch,” she asks, opening up a streaming service on the television.
You take another sip, thankfully the cocoa is cooler and not unpleasantly hot. “Oh, I don’t know,” you say. “It’s your house, why don’t you pick?”
She nods, using the remote to navigate to an old black-and-white movie you hadn’t seen yet. “The Apartment? Is that a Christmas movie?”
“Technically,” she quipped, taking back her mug and drinking when the movie starts.
A few minutes in, you lean your head against her shoulder. “You know you can talk to me about anything, right?” you suggest, out of the blue.
Elle glances at you with her eyes. “I know.”
“It’s not…necessarily about, y’know, the BAU, but…” you’re unsure of whether or not you want to continue. You look down at the steam rising out of your mug. “I just wanna know if you’re doing okay.”
“I am,” she replies. “I’m okay, I swear.” She turns her head and kisses your forehead softly before turning back and wrapping her arm along the back of your neck.
You smile and take another sip of the hot chocolate, with the sounds of old-timey music in the background and the warmth of Elle’s presence to comfort you.
Tumblr media
literally did not know how to end this, but like it’s very cute 🫶 hope y’all enjoyed (if there’s anything wrong in the fic, let me know and i’ll fix it!) and happy holidays !! ❄️

the treehouse
You step out into the back garden and take a deep breath, closing your eyes as you allow the crisp air to wash over you. Aaron steps out moments after and closes the door quietly before his hand finds your lower back.
"You okay?" He asks, his voice just above a whisper. It's almost drowned out by the sound of mourning doves overheard.
You shrug, your shoulders feeling as though they’re being weighed down by the heavy armour you’re trying–and failing–to shield yourself with. “I will be.”
“Yeah.” He looks around the garden and lets out a short, flat hum. “But no one is expecting you to be okay, you know that, right? There’s no time limit; you’re allowed to grieve.”
“I know.”
“I know you do, sweetheart. But I just wanted to remind you.” You turn to look at him and, at the sight of his genuine concern, your brave face crumbles. He wraps his arms around you immediately, pulling you close and enveloping you in his warmth. “Hey, it’s okay. It’s okay, I’ve got you. I’ve got you, yeah?”
“Yeah,” you whisper as you cling to him, trying your hardest to hold back your tears but failing miserably. “I know.”
“Good.”
“I just don’t know what to do.”
Aaron presses a kiss to your forehead. “You don’t have to do anything.”
You pull back and look up at him, confused. “Yes, I do. I have to… to get rid of everything and sell the, the house. And do all the paperwork and figure out what to do with her antiques and, and, and–”
“Hey, hey,” he interrupts you gently, pulling you back into a tight hug. “Don’t worry about any of that right now. I’ll do that.”
“What, no–”
“Let’s not talk about this now, okay? We’ll sort it out later or tomorrow. Give yourself some time to think about it.”
“But what do I do in the meantime? I can’t just… sit around.”
He thinks for a moment. “Show me around.”
“What?”
“Show me around the house. Tell me everything you can, anything you can remember, and I’ll listen. I wanna know what life was like for you.”
You almost burst into tears at his words. “Really? You wanna know about my childhood?”
“Sweetheart, I wanna know everything about you.”
***
You take Aaron inside the house, taking him to the living room. The room hasn’t been touched in a few days, save for a few files on the coffee table you checked earlier, and you feel sick at the thought of leaving the house behind once everything’s packed away. Then the thought of having to pack everything away makes you feel even worse and you sway on the spot. Aaron notices you falter and reaches out to squeeze your arm gently, standing beside you patiently.
“I don’t know what I’m gonna do when all this is gone.”
“It doesn’t have to be gone,” he replies. “You can take it all.”
“And keep it where?”
“In our house, in a storage container… there’s many places.”
You think for a moment, holding back tears, before shaking your head. “No. I need to… to let it go. Not all of it, but I can’t keep everything. She wouldn’t wanna weigh me down with all her stuff.”
“Alright,” Aaron says, squeezing your arm again and leaning to press a soft kiss to your cheek. “Take anything you need. I promise we’ll find a place for it. That sound good?”
You nod and lean into him for a moment before slowly making your way through the living room, grabbing the objects with the most significance to you and telling Aaron about them before sorting them into a box to take back to the house. You pack a few of your favourite DVDs, ones you’re sure won’t even play anymore with how scratched they’ve become, as you tell Aaron vague memories of watching them as a kid. What happened when you watched them, who you watched them with, how you felt–anything that comes to mind because you know he’s listening.
A few family photos are displayed on the TV stand, as well as a cabinet in the corner, and you relive the memories of when they were taken as you tell him all about them. He asks to look at one closer and you give it to him, watching as he smiles down at a photo of you with your old dog. “You looked happy.”
“I was,” you reply, nodding. “Some of the time, anyway.”
He gives you a small smile and hands you the picture. “I know what you mean.”
You continue to walk him around the house, showing him dents in the wall from where you hurt yourself and little drawings you hid behind drawers and peeling wallpaper. He listens intently, smiling at your happy anecdotes and comforting you when tears well up in your eyes as the worst memories cloud your mind. You show him your childhood bedroom, telling him about friends that used to come over for sleepovers and the first time you kissed someone behind the open door so no one would see.
“My first kiss was with Haley,” he replies. “In the theatre room at our school.”
“Isn’t that where you first met her?”
“Yeah. I kissed her in the same spot I first saw her.”
“Aw,” you smile as you grab an old diary and throw it into your bag. You’ll read that later when you’re alone so you don’t embarrass or upset yourself anymore in front of Aaron. “You’ve always been a romantic, how cute.”
He blushes and presses a kiss to your cheek as he passes by, making his way to your desk and flicking through a few papers you left there when you were last over. “You think you’d want these?”
“Probably not, doubt they’re important.”
Aaron nods and begins to open the drawers, pulling out miscellaneous items and silently dividing them into piles of things you might want to keep and things you’d throw away. You watch him with a sombre smile, feeling your chest ache at the realisation that he knows you so well and that his love for you is endless. When he catches you watching him, he pauses and raises an eyebrow. “You okay?”
“I love you, you know that, right?”
“Of course I do,” he replies, closing the drawer and walking back over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist to tug you close. “I love you, too. More than you’ll ever know.”
“Hm, I don’t know. I think I have a pretty good idea.”
“I don’t want to doubt you, sweetheart, but I really don’t think you do.” He presses a sweet kiss to your lips, channelling all his love into it. “I can’t even begin to express how much I love you. I just… do.”
You press another kiss to his lips to hide the tears welling up in your eyes. The love you feel for him is so strong it feels like you might burst. He kisses back, letting you take the lead. Pulling back, you look deep into his eyes and smile the first genuine smile you’ve been able to manage since you first heard the news. “I love you more.”
Aaron chuckles. “Sure you do.” He presses a chaste kiss to your lips with a hum. “Ready to carry on?”
“Yeah,” you mutter, going to pull away before a thought strikes you and you let out a sharp breath. Aaron pulls you back into his arms immediately, looking down at you in concern but keeping silent to give you a moment to think. “Sorry, I just… realised that that was gonna be my last kiss in this room.”
“Is that a good thing? Or bad?”
“I don’t know,” you reply honestly, feeling out of it. “I don’t like the thought of everything we do in this moment being the last of anything, but… the fact that it’s you that I’m doing all this with… yeah, I think that’s a good thing.”
He smiles sweetly at you, love shining so clearly in his eyes, and presses a kiss to your forehead. “Then let's stay here for a little longer.”
“We should get it over with, I don’t wanna waste all your free time off work. You deserve to get some time to yourself.”
“Oh, honey,” he sighs, wrapping his arms around your shoulders and resting his head against yours. “This isn’t a waste of my time. Trust me. I want to be here, with you, for you, and that’s all that matters. Don’t think like that, okay? I’m here because I want to be, not because I feel like I have to. Does that make sense?”
“Yeah,” you whisper. “It does.”
***
“I guess that leaves the treehouse,” you shrug, feeling drained as you step back outside with Aaron following you. You stare up at the treehouse, wondering if it's necessary to go up there. “You don’t have to come up. It’s pretty small.”
“I’ll go wherever you go.”
“You’re so cheesy,” you say with a small smile, even when his words mean the world to you.
He smiles at you. “You love it.”
“I really do.” Making your way to the treehouse, you glance at Aaron and allow a small smirk to dance over your lips. “Don’t stare at my ass as I go up.”
Aaron laughs. “No promises.”
You roll your eyes and begin climbing, risking a glance back to find Aaron’s eyes firmly on the ground and being as respectful as ever. It makes your heart skip a beat. Reaching the top of the ladder, you look at the treehouse's entrance and cringe at the big ‘DO NOT ENTER’ sign hanging beside the doorway. It was a sign you carved yourself when you were younger. When you look inside the treehouse, your heart aches as memories flood through you. It takes you a few seconds to force yourself inside but once you clamber in, you call down to Aaron to let him know he can join you.
The sound of him climbing up surrounds you as you push yourself into your favourite corner, one filled with soft padding and blankets. A few of your favourite books are scattered across the floor and pictures of you and your childhood friends cover the walls. The nostalgia hits you hard and you bite your lip to stifle a sob.
Aaron joins you, crawling inside and looking around with interest. As he gets comfortable in the small space, his long legs curling against himself to fit, you realise it’s the first time anyone’s ever been in the treehouse with you. Or at all.
He remains silent, waiting for you to be the first to talk. You appreciate that.
“I used to come up here a lot,” you say after a few minutes. “To read, to think, to talk to myself out loud… everything.”
“And did it help?”
“Yeah,” you nod, reaching over to grab one of the books beside you. It’s one you’re sure you’ve read a million times over, the pages worn and yellowing and a small layer of dust covering the outside. “It was nice. Peaceful. Somewhere I was never bothered.”
“I had a place like that,” Aaron muses, smiling at you. “Not as personal as this, though. It was a bench a few blocks from where I grew up, hidden by a few overgrown trees. I liked it.”
“Did you go there a lot?”
“Whenever I could. Couldn’t go much in the winter because of the cold, though.”
You huffed out a laugh. “Same here. Still came here even if I meant I almost froze to death.”
His smile becomes sad but there's clear understanding in his expression. “Yeah.”
The two of you sit inside the treehouse for almost an hour, talking about whatever comes to mind. Aaron listens intently to every word you say, his comforting hand drawing patterns over your thigh and eventually over your side when you move to curl up against him. You feel yourself drifting off at one point when the exhaustion settles deep in your bones, feeling so safe and warm and loved and comforted beside him, but you force awake to finish back up in the house.
Aaron follows you inside, as he always has and always will, and comforts you through everything that comes after that. He helps you pack up the house, assuring you over and over that you can take however many boxes you want back to the house you share with him. He sits with you for days after, mostly in silence when the grief catches up to you and you can hardly think, never once looking as if he’d rather be elsewhere. He holds your hand throughout the funeral, never once leaving your side or once letting you think for a moment that you’re ever alone. And even after it’s been weeks, months, years, since that moment, he’s there for you whenever you need a shoulder to cry on. Just like he always has been.

when emma falls in love
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis: ellie might be in love with you, and you might just be in love with her too… if only you could admit it
pairing: college!ellie x fem!reader
warnings: too many tlou references, food, not proofread!!!!! also using angel in place of y/n bc it makes me cringe a little!
a/n: lets play a game called “how many references can kate make in her fics?”
Tumblr media
‘IM JUST PRETTY GREAT WITH MY FINGERS’
when emma falls in love, she paces the floor closes the blinds and locks the door when emma falls in love, she calls up her mom jokes about the ways that this one could go wrong
ellie couldn’t keep up.
she felt like every time dina came over, there was someone new in your life, and she couldn’t understand how. you were perfectly nice and even prettier.
but here she was, yet again in her dorm, listening to dina rant about the latest endeavor.
“and he was just a total dick! like, how are you going to say you’re busy tonight with family and then go to a party? like are you stupid?” dina sighed. “i love her, but god does she picks some idiotic ones. you remember the beach girl?”
oh she remembered the beach girl.
on an annual beach trip over spring break, some blonde had caught your eye, and you caught hers. you had invited her to join them for dinner, and how could anyone say no to you?
you hit it off with the blonde, abby, and she spent the next couple days with the group, constantly flirting with you. ellie had felt a sort of dread fill her stomach. why her? she was obviously playing in to what you wanted and she knew you were smart enough to see that.
the trip wrapped up and you made plans with abby, excited she only live a town over. but when the time came, you spent 3 hours at the park waiting for her, only to receive a text saying she wouldn’t be able to make it.
you were upset and crashed at dina’s, and ellie had heard about it all the night.
“yes, god, i remember her. what a douche.” she rolled her eyes, standing up to grab her bag for class. “i’ve gotta go, but are we all still going out tonight?” dina nodded with a smile. “cool. don’t do anything stupid. and lock my door before you leave, please.”
“says you. and i’ll think about it!”
shes walking out the door when she hits something, or someone.
“shit.”
“fuck, sorry my bad.”
when she focuses back, she sees you. “hey, what are you doing here?”
“oh, dina told me to come over. are you going?” you leaned in the doorway. “dina, come on, stop invading people’s space. lets go!”
she groaned, “but ellie said we could smoke here!” she got up nonetheless, heading to join you. “thanks anyways els, have fun in class!”
“bye ellie!”
she sighs as she watches you two walk away. why does air fill her head whenever shes around you?
she waits and takes her time ‘cause little miss sunshine always thinks its gonna rain when emma falls in love, i know that boy will never be the same
“so, angel, how’s it going with you and that girl?” jesse felt a kick at his leg and turned to dina. “what? am i not allowed to ask questions?”
“no, no, it’s fine. we didnt work out, but thats okay!” you smiled brightly at the table. “i think im gonna take a break anyways. im kinda sick of it.”
they all shared a knowing look. “hey, no! i promise, this is for real.”
“hun, its not that we don’t believe you.” ellie started. “iits just that… we dont believe you!” you groaned and stole a fry from her plate. “look, we’ve just heard that a lot, and we dont wanna see you get hurt.”
“but im not going to! because im taking a break.” you kicked ellie. “you dont have to believe me, but can you at least pretend to?” they gave in and cheered for you. “thanks, now who wants to share a brownie?”
Tumblr media
“okay, so its c minor sharp, f sharp, b, e, repeat?” you and ellie sat on the dorm room floor, her guitars in both of your laps.
“yea exactly, just on the third repeat, its a g sharp minor instead of a b.” you nodded at her and plucked the chord. “exactly. and i pluck for it so just… just watch?”
she played the song slowly, speaking her pattern as she went along. you nodded at her when she finished, figuring you knew it well enough. “okay, play it together?”
“yep!”
she counted down before starting, making you smile.
“talking away, i dont know what im to say. ill say it anyway, todays another day to find you shying away. ill be coming for your love, okay.” you hummed a harmony as ellie sang the words.
“are you sure you don’t usually play? youre a total natural at this.” ellie marveled as you let the last chord hum out.
“i guess im just pretty good with my fingers.” you felt your cheeks blaze as you heard back what you said.
dina chuckled, “damn right!” she stood up, going for the door. “gonna grab a bottle of water. play more for us beautiful ladies!”
ellie taught you the rest of the song, both of you more awkward than usual. you really came along it so fast, ellie was amazed.
“okay, seriously, you have to be messing with me because you are way to good at this.”
“i promise! i only took piano lessons.”
‘cause shes the kind of book that you cant put down like if cleopatra grew up in a small town and all the bad boys would be good boys if they only had the chance to love her and to tell you the truth sometimes i wish i was her
ellie had a thought that she might be, maybe, just could be a little in love with you.
she couldnt be though. right?
sure, she knew all of your favorite foods, and knew the words to your favorite song, knew your favorite books like the back of her hand, could tell anyone how you took your coffee.
but that was friendly. you guys were friendly. friends.
she guessed you guys hung out a lot, but thats because they always hung out as a group. she might’ve gotten excited when you joined, but that doesnt mean anything.
and of course she had noticed you were pretty. gorgeous, even. but so had everyone else. its not like she had purposefully memorized your features. every line and mark.
she could draw jesse from memory perfectly, its not like she liked him.
it was normal.
totally normal.
fuck.
Tumblr media
“where’s angel?” ellie asked, looking to dina.
“not coming.” she sighed, digging around her purse for a pack of gum. “said she was busy, but she wouldn’t say why.”
“i think we all know why,” jesse teased. they all gave him a look, but he leveled them with one of his own. “im not insulting her. its just that, this isn’t exactly out of her nature. i mean seriously, who actually took her promise seriously?”
ellie excused herself to the bathroom, dialing you before she even reached the door.
“hello?”
“hey, where are you?” she picked at the already chipping nail polish she had on.
“uhm, im out.” you sighed. “look, im kind of busy. did you need somet-“
she had to cut to the chase. “are you on a date?”
“excuse me?”
“are you on a date?”
“thats none of your business.”
“oh fuck off, you know it very much is. so. are you?”
“fine, yea i am. now can i get back to it?”
“we are talking later.”
she joined the group back at their table, but couldnt focus back in on the conversation.
“you okay, ellie?” she looked up at dina, nodding with a hum.
“yea, sorry, got lost for a second.”
when emma falls apart, its when shes alone she takes on the pain and bears it on her own ‘cause when emma falls in love, she’s in it for keeps she wont walk away unless she knows she absolutely has to leave
she didnt even bother to knock, just walked straight through your dorm room door.
“ellie, what the hell?” you were in bed, a book in hand and music playing from a speaker. “what happened to knocking?”
ellie b-lined for your bed, taking a seat at the foot of it. “why were you on a date?”
“dude, seriously, what if i was naked? so not okay!” you placed a bookmark on your page and set the book to the side.
“okay, fine im sorry!” she groaned and found your eyes. “now why were you on a date? what happened to taking a break?”
“what do you want me to say, els?” you exhaled and looked down at your hands. “that i cant keep anything? that i cant keep promises or partners?” ellie felt bad as she saw your eyes were glossy and the frown on your face. “im sorry im such a screwup and that i cant do anything right. anything else?”
ellie ran her fingers through her hair. “im sorry.” she crossed her legs on your bed and looked at you. “really im sorry, this was so uncalled for. youre right, its not my business. im really sorry. i just wan-“
she froze.
surely you couldnt be kissing her right now.
before she could even think to reciprocate, you pulled away, a deer in headlights look on your face.
“im so sorry.” you whispered moving away from her. “god, im so so sorry. you should go. im sorry.” she opened her mouth to try and say anything, but you beat her to it. “ellie, please, just go.”
she saw the tears well and felt compelled to stay. but her body went against her, forcing her feet to walk out the door to her own room.

dina nodded excitedly and sat down infront of her.
“angel kissed me, and then she freaked out and made me leave, and now she wont even talk to me!” ellie fell back onto her bed.
“SHE KISSED YOU?” dina squealed. “OH MY GOD, HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME SOONER!”
“did you hear nothing else that i said?”

a coffee was waiting on the table for you when you arrived. you sat across from ellie, hesitantly taking the drink. “you wanted to talk.” you talk a sip, finding it tasted like your usual order. “so talk.”
“okay look… i’m just as confused and nervous as you are.” she laughed nervously and fiddled with her own cup. “but, im glad you kissed me.”
“what?”
“yea i know.” she took a deep breath before continuing. “i only recently, like very recently, realized my feelings were misplaced. i really dont wanna be friends.”
you groaned, “and you couldnt have just texted me that?”
“fucks sake, just let me finish!” she pleaded, picking back up when you sat back into your chair. “i like you. like, a crazy lot, and it freaks me out. so please, let me at least take you on one date. if not, its fine, we just cant be friends. i wouldnt be able to stand it.”
you chewed at a nail as you took in what she had said.
“say something.”
a beat of silence before.
“okay.”
“okay?” she whispered.
“yea, okay. you can take me on a date.”
well, shes so new york when shes in l.a. she wont lose herself in love the way that i did ‘cause she’ll call you out she’ll put you in your place when emma falls in love, im learning
“hey, hurry up, im waiting downstairs for you.”
ellies voice rang through your room as you placed her on speaker.
“nuh uh, im not done. you asked me out, now deal with the consequences. ill be down when im ready.” you pulled out your outfit, throwing it on as you spoke. “just scroll on insta or something if you’re that bored.”
“fine.”
she hung up and you couldn’t help but laugh. you had been so nervous in the days leading up to this, but suddenly felt much better as she yelled at you like normal.
you finally met her at her car, hopping in the passenger seat and connecting your phone.
“the hell are you doing?” ellie squealed.
you scoffed and rolled your eyes. “passengers princess gets aux. suck it up loser.” you queued up songs as she pulled out and onto the main road. “where are we going anyways?”
“you’ll see.”
“god you are so annoying.”
and yet you smiled at her.
Tumblr media
“an arcade? really?” you looked at her with eyebrows raised.
she shrugged and unbuckled, opening her door to get out. you shook your head, shocked still you were on a date with ellie williams. at the arcade.
she pulled you through the maze of a place to some own machine. “mortal kombat? what even is this?”
she smiled so bright, you couldnt help but smile back. “just wait, its so fun.”
emma met a boy with eyes like a man turns out her heart fits in the palm of his hand now he’ll be her shelter when it rains little does he know, his whole world’s about to change
“it was totally fun right? c’mon, you can admit it!” she pushed your shoulder, seeing your smiling face.
“okay yes, fine it was fun, i had fun!” you laughed, staring at her face. “i never really noticed you had this many freckles.”
you traced a finger across her cheeks. down the slope of her nose. across her eyebrow, stopping to poke the scar running through the left one.
“you’re pretty.” you whispered.
she blushed. “i think you’re gorgeous.” she whispered back.
her eyes were so pretty.
“can i kiss you?”
‘cause shes the kind of book that you cant put down like if cleopatra grew up in a small town and all the bad boys would be good boys if they only had the chance to love her and to tell you the truth sometimes i wish i was her

Pairing: Drew McIntyre x Desiree Simons(oc)
a/n: This was already posted once on ao3, but I figured the non ao3 readers would prefer to have it posted here on tumblr. My oc has a mini introduction if you wanna check that out, it lined to my pinned post. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure how to go about this fic, but then Never Lose Me by Flo Milli—the inspiration—started playing and my brain instantly clicked on. Even though this is the same story still gonna tag my wonderful beta @insatiableorsmthn especially bc she’s not even a wrestling fan and put up with my man–splaining. Hope you all enjoys this, reblogs are appreciated, questions and comments are welcomed. Love ya ✨💜
Chapter 1: Never Lost You
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Monday Night Raw
“Desiree, I’m serious; if you’re still not feeling 100, maybe it’s a bad idea to return early,” my dad’s worried face deepens over his end of the FaceTime call. When Hunter put together Becky, and I’s Wrestlemania match two years ago, my dad was the first person to know. To say he was happy is an understatement, that was the cause of our real first argument. My dad’s need to protect me kept clashing with not only original creativity, but also my independence. I lost count on how many times I had to tell him to stop handing me baby gloves. My vision for Wrestlemania was me finally stepping out of the shadows, proving that I have my own personality, and that I can be the main event without any help. He always supports everything I do, but he absolutely would not have it with the tables, latters, and chairs. So when I lied and told him it wouldn't be involved, I lied. Truth be told Becky didn’t want to put my knee through that chair, only after I begged, and wore her down about it she agreed to it. In the end, we were both proud of how everything turned out, that year's Wrestle Mania event sold out Madison Square Garden. I remember my dad waiting backstage that night with tears in his eyes, both tears of joy, and disappointment. From that point on my dad stopped asking about my matches, all he asks about is my health, and if I was satisfied with the outcome. However when he found out I’m returning earlier than what I was originally scheduled, that’s when he expressed true concern.
“I know, Daddy. I’ve thought about that…” I trail off for a moment as I weigh all my impossible options. My father’s Hall of Famer ring glints from the sunlight coming in from his patio window. That’s when my previous doubts about returning to the ring, got put to bed. If I want to be the greatest, better than my dad, then I can’t sit around the house all day. “I don’t have time to wait for 100 percent; you can’t become the greatest by waiting for perfection.” I caught a glimpse of the fire in my eyes from the reflective image through the phone, I can feel the way my eyebrows are pinching together, and my lips purse in resilience. The reassurance of my words were his reserve, any worries he had are long gone.
The smile on his lips shines brightly, and just then my mom pokes her head into frame. “Whatever you decide, you know we support you, baby girl.” She smiles warmly, her tone soft and loving as always. My heart aches as I start to feel homesick. I haven’t been home to Huston in god knows how long, but instead of crying about it, I suck it up so as to not make my parents worry about me.
“Alright then, you’ve put your foot down. I’ll let you go, I know you’re very busy tonight. Love you Dee.” He waved his hand, and my mom blew me a kiss. I kiss them back, and hang up the phone. I inhale deeply, collecting my thoughts; a plethora of emotions pass over me and I would like to get them all down to one constant before I step through the curtain tonight.
“I’m all done, girl.” My hair stylist, Janelle, fluffs my long curls. I look up from my phone, and into the mirror in front of me, my lips curl into a sly smirk. Everytime, she knocks it out of the park with every style I request of her. The pink highlights match my bright pink under eyeliner – not my favorite color, but I’m really trying to lean into showcasing my alternative fashion sense more on tv. I was originally opposed to a heel turn, I felt like the fans wouldn’t be into it, but I seriously underestimated them. Besides, I’m having fun pretty much getting away with being an emotionally spiraling asshole on TV. My outfit for the opening of the show is simple with a little bit of edge, but it’s still stepping on necks. You can never go wrong with all black.
“Yesss ma’am,” I dance around in a circle emphasizing my gratitude and excitement. “Now that’s what I’m talking about! Thanks, Janelle – I’ll see you next month.” We hug, and kiss, then I go on about my way, making my way down the hall to catering. I pass a few people here and there waving and responding to small talk on the way by, until I spot Mercedes in the back with Becky. Upon seeing me, their faces light up, causing me to dance my way all the way to their table.
“Well aren’t you just glowing, bursting full of energy.” Mercedes slaps hands with me before I take a seat at the table. I steal a grape from her fruit salad, to which she playfully stabs me with her fork.
“Doc put me back together now I’m a real boy again.” I joke playfully, and Mercedes bumps her shoulder into mine, a sly smirk on her lips. Becky doesn’t buy what I’m selling her, so when our gazes meet, I silently beg her to leave it. She remains silent, but I know I’ll be getting an ear full later. Despite us all being booked tonight, it’s been so long since we were all in the same place at once so, we all sit around joking, chit-chatting for a bit, and it feels like picking up right where we left off before my hiatus. Time gradually begins to dwindle down for me, creeping closer to the match. Tonight is supposed to initiate a tag team with Drew and I versus Seth and Becky. I have yet to find Drew and catch up with him, though I would be saying I’m lying if I haven’t been trying to avoid him. I manage to steal another piece of fruit from Becky, and this time she doesn’t fight me on it. “Kay, this is where I leave you ladies. I’ll see you out there Becks.” I stand up from my seat, phone in hand. My eyes scan the room once to see if he was already here before I waste my time running all over the arena. I’m not surprised when I can’t spot him; Drew’s always been a chill loner type. I’ve almost never seen him hanging out with groups of people, it’s one of the things that brought my attention to him when we first met. He’s a quiet guy that lets his abilities speak for themselves, in more ways than one. A shiver runs down my spine as flashbacks detour my mind from the mission at hand. A week before my return, I had a meeting with Hunter, and Vince to figure out where the story should go once I return. We ran through a few ideas here, and there. They wanted me to go just skip ahead and go right for Rhea Rippley, but I wanted it to be as natural as possible. I felt like the previous story didn’t quite close how it was supposed to. So when I brought up Becky that’s what led to Vince’s idea of getting Seth, and Drew involved. “The ending of your story with Becky, will be the beginning of not only Drew’s story, but now the beginning of your feud with Rhea Rippley.”
I wave the girls goodbye, and set on my way once again. The amount of people in the hallways are thinner than they were a half hour ago. I pass a ref gently grab onto their shoulder, “Hey have you seen Drew.” They smile at me, no doubt happy to see me back, but when their lips tilt down in a frown, its all the answer I need. That was the fifth person that had come up empty and I was starting to think he either didn't make it to the arena, or left.
“Wassup DeeDee, lookin for your boyfriend?” Colby’s voice comes from behind, a knowing smirk plastered onto his lips when I turn to look at him. I roll my eyes deeply, ignoring the pain I cause myself, and fold my arms over my chest.
“Ha ha, have you seen him or not?” I cut to the chase. Colby is like the older brother I never wanted, always putting his big nose in business that isn’t his own. He shrugs his shoulders, a look of feign confusion etched across his face as he brings a finger to his chin tapping it. He takes his sweet time pondering, long enough that I begin to turn and walk away. Usually I’m in the mood to goof around, but there were too many things on my mind. Drew being the main one, and truth be told he’s been living rent free in my head.
“Geesh okay, okay, calm down. I think the doctor may have accidentally screwed your brain up in the process. What happened to your humor, Dee?” His frown deepens when I continue to stare him down; if my annoyance isn’t evident a moment ago, it sure is now. I shift the weight in my hips, my arms falling to my sides, and my hand coming up to pinch the bridge of my nose. I get a good glimpse at his outfit, and I won't admit to him out loud how well his new sense of fashion is working for him. He’s bringing out his Randy Savage, and Ric Flair in these outfits. I’m sort of jealous.
“It was my knee, you dumb ass, I injured my knee.” I tap my knee cap with the other hand, to which he shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly. His WWE Heavyweight Championship was an eyesore, and I am quite honestly tired of looking at it at the moment. It’s just a reminder of how long I’ve been gone, and just how many opportunities I’ve been missing out on because of this stupid injury.
“I’m sure you’ll find your…friend lurking in some dark corner, I passed by him like 30 minutes ago that way.” Colby jabs his thumb in the direction behind him. My heart speeds up unexpectedly, it’s been a year since I’ve seen, or even spoken to Drew.
“Thanks.” I mumble, my body already moving past Colby, he grasps me in the shoulder giving it a light squeeze, but then lets me go afterwards. I keep walking until I reach a break in the white brick walls. It's odd to place a break off hall here, but that’s why it made the perfect hiding place, I suppose. Looks like it’s used to store tools, and such. There he is, leaning against a crate with headphones over his head. His eyes are closed, and his arms crossed over his broad chest. He’s already dressed for the first segment of the night, he kept it simple in a pair of jeans, a merch t-shirt, and a pair of sneakers. I don’t really want to disturb him, but I don’t really have a choice. “Stop being pussyfoot Des, and just do it.” I murmur to myself, taking a step forward. Drew’s eyes fly open, his head snapping in my direction. I squeak out of shock; his intuition is freaky and accurate. His eyes soften once he realizes who is standing before him. He pulls off his headphones and the sound of heavy rock bleeds from them piques my interest for a moment. We used to stay up all night till we fell asleep on the phone, talking about our favorite bands. Between me wanting to keep things between us private, and me letting my injury cause a wedge between us, it’s safe to say I felt responsible for ruining whatever it was we had. “Wassup Andrew, been a while, kid.” I play it off cool, I try to step away from our past, and just get through this moment. I should have known better.
He walks closer, his tall frame towering over me causing me to have to look up at him from this distance. “I would ask how’s the knee, but you seem to be just fine don’t ya, princess.” His tone is sharp and I’m thrown off by his response. Instantly, I lose my chill. My arms fold over my chest, an attempt to calm myself down, but he’s always gotten underneath my skin with ease.
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” I’m quickly reminded of the last argument we had, in fact all of our arguments usually start because he goads me into them. Every time, without fail, I fall into the trap. The corners of his lips pull into a smile ever so slightly. He had been waiting for this moment, to tell me off, to embarrass me. Drew didn’t care if there were five or zero people around, he’d say what he had to say.
“You had a career ending injury, you disappeared, you didn’t speak to me for what feels like an eternity, and you just pop up with a ‘Wassup’? Is that the best you got?” And there it was, the truth. He inhales deeply, his tongue sweeping across his lips to wet them. He isn’t done ripping me a new one. I deserve it, I expect nothing less, I didn't have a reason to close off all communication, I just wanted to be left alone. He can be so smothering at times, I didn't have the stamina to keep the facade up in order to spare his feelings at the time. So here I am, waiting for him to take me back in like a stray.
“I…I called you. Not once did you answer, and I know you think I want you to baby me. I don’t need that from you, I’m a grown man, I can handle rejection, but what I won’t tolerate is disrespect. So if you wanna sit here and claim that I wasn’t worth one fuckin phone call, and that all that time we spent together ment nothing to you, at least have the balls to say so.” Man that stings, I crumble under his gaze, those icy blue eyes softening, but he wasn’t backing down on his statement. I wish we could just laugh it off, and bury the hatchet, and maybe we could, but only if I’m really careful. I’m right at eye level with his chest, and I can’t help but think of how comfortable his body felt when he held me despite how muscular he is. No matter how mad he got, or how much we roughhouse, he was always very gentle with me. “Ya’aren’t even listening to me.” I’m snapped out of my day dream and back into the present, but before I knew it, he’s walking away.
“Shit” I curse to myself, and chase after him. “Hey don’t walk away from me! Drew!” He refuses to turn around which leaves me with no choice. I run and jump on his back. For once, I catch him off guard, he yelps out in shock. I manage to crawl around to his front side while hanging onto his shoulders. My legs wrap around his waist, and without hesitation, his large hands hold onto my hips, his grip tightens, and his nails lightly dig into my flesh. I bury my head in the crook of his neck, taking in his minty scent, and just hug him as tightly as I can. “They say ‘you don’t miss the water, tell the well runs dry’, and boy did I miss you the most of all, and I’m sorry I didn’t answer. I have so much I want to say and catch up on. If you want, can we hang out later, and I’ll answer anything you want to ask?” I unwrap myself from his torso, and slowly slide down, bringing his face with me. His thick beard feels soft in my hands. I want to kiss him so badly– anything to take me back to where we left off.
He hesitates and my stomach flutters. Finally, he says, “I’d like that.” His lips pull back slightly into a soft smile. I hold his face between my hands, not wanting the moment to end. The butterflies in the pit of my stomach refuse to settle as he leans in closer. He doesn't reject my touch, encouraging me to come closer, while I was in the mood to have him smother me with his body, I bring my arms around his torso. His long muscular arms wrap around my shoulder, and he holds me there. His chin resting on my head.
“Sorry to interrupt guys, but we gotta start walking down now.” One of the WWE officials informs us, my body jolts in surprise, I got lost in Drew, and I’s reunion that it didn’t occur to me that we actually have a job to do. I’ve never been one for PDA, and though we weren’t doing anything inappropriate, I still felt exposed. I drop my arms from Drew’s waist causing them to flop at my side, he, however, holds onto me for a second longer, and lets me go. Reluctantly, he peels his eyes away for a second to nod his head, but that intense gaze of his returns right back to me before I get a chance to exhale. He brings my hand up to his lips and kisses it.
The walk from the hallway to the front of the backstage area is silent. As we get closer to the Gorilla, more people show up throughout the halls. “Alright, show time.” I sang in a melodic rhythm. As we approach the curtain, I catch a glimpse of Hunter staring at us with this expression I couldn’t quite put my finger on.
“See ya out there, princess.” Drew spoke so only I could hear him. It’s not until I feel his warm hand squeeze mine did I realize we had walked all the way down here fingers interlaced.. I look over to Hunter and sure enough that was the reason for his odd reaction to us. His eyebrows pull upwards, the corner of his mouth twitches upwards into a smirk. I can feel my face getting hot. I know he won’t go blabbing to everyone what he just witnessed, but Colby knowing about Drew and I’s situationship is already one person too many.
Choosing to ignore it, I stand by the monitor and watch the events unfold. The Miz’s segment was always used as a tool to get the pot stirring between superstars, and boy is he good at stirring the pot. Colby and Drew seem to be going back and forth about whether or not Drew was worthy enough for a title shot. “You think you’re too good to face me? What, am I not cool enough for ya, Seth? I know I’m no Jey Uso, I know I don't come out here dancing every night, shaking hands, and kissing babies. So let’s get real Seth, look me in the face like a man, and just admit that you’re scared to face me. You’re scared to face me because you see how I turned your friend Roman Reigns inside out with a Claymore straight to the face!” Drew leans forward in his seat, the roar of the crowd rings throughout the whole of the arena from Drew’s call back to his match against Roman two years ago for the undisputed champion title. The tension between them is palpable, I begin to jog in place as I stand near the Gorilla, switching my weight from one foot to the other. Colby parts his lips to speak, but Beaky cuts him off, her voice coming out with a nonchalant arrogance. “Maybe you’re just not man enough.” The crowd goes crazy. I roll my eyes letting out a chuckle, Drew inhales deeply trying to retain his focus. Or rather trying to not lose his temper, and give into his anger, that’s the other side of the coin with him. He could be the sweetest, a complete gentleman, but man oh man is his patience thin. Colby cackles, throwing his head back with his mouth wide open.
Becky takes this as an opportunity to capitalize on, and really amp things up. “I mean, aren’t you supposed to be the Chosen One? And what exactly were you chosen for – to fail?” I felt second-hand embarrassment by her words, she’s really on a roll lately, and I can’t help but feel proud. She’s come such a long way, especially on the mic, and dare I say she could do this whole promo by herself ? Drew stands from his chair, Colby, and Becky follows suit. Drew throws his microphone to the ground, his composure long gone. They are beyond talking, the shouting match is now on the brink of a physical altercation. Becky pushes her way past Colby, and shoves Drew in the chest as hard as she can. Her improvisation threw them all for a surprise – Drew’s eyes widened, I wasn't sure what his next string of words were, but Colby sure as hell didn't seem to like it. By the time they hit my music, Miz had already exited the ring, and is now watching from the commentary table.
Spitbrain ft. Willow—Purge
Purge, you can't take it away
Purge, you can't take it from me
Sink into the dark, I can't seem to find myself (Oh, oh)
I tried to come back but it's so hard (Oh, oh, oh, oh)
I don't know the truth anymore, perspective shattered to the floor
Fucking up like most of the time, coming to terms with all of my lies, not taking advice (I don’t really wanna know)
Tryna find my way to the light, through traps in my mind, it's gonna be fine, it's gonna be fine
My entrance music blasts through the arena, and the crowd pops for me harder than I had expected. I dance my way to the ring, slapping hands with a few fans, and waving to some. An official sitting by ringside hands me a mic before I climb in between the ropes that Drew is kind enough to hold open for me. As I stand from my bending position, our gazes meet, his eyes are on fire. I slap him on the chest playfully, and he flexes his pectoral muscle. ‘Show off.’ I think to myself, not nearly as annoyed as I pretend to be. Instead of acknowledging Becky and Colby, I turn towards the crowd. I climb to the top turnbuckle and the audience jumps to their feet, shouting and clapping. I make sure to show the other three sides of the crowd the same love before I come to a halt between Drew, Becky, and Colby. Before speaking I revel in the reaction of the crowd for a moment longer, then bring the mic to my lips, “I guess you ran out of female competitors huh, Becks?” My face morphs into an expression of feigned confusion, and my heart thudded with an unexplainable excitement, but I pull myself back to reality before I spiral too far.
Becky smirks, “pretty much – I mean, ever since I made you tap, the competition has been slim. How’s the knee by the way? Must have been hard recovering something that's been smashed to thousands of bits by a steel chair.” She gloats haughtily, her lips turned upward into a sly smirk. My head drops; I re-enter the darkness of those twelve months. Becky’s words stung, reminding me that I let my ego get in the way, I was so desperate, I needed the fans to love me because I earned it, and not because my fathers last name is attached to the main event.
Colby could be heard from behind Becky, “Ohhhh!” Ever so quietly, I cough as an attempt to not break character, and laugh.
“Crazy, because I’ve been gone for a year, and some change. But you have not challenged Rhea for the title yet, it seems to me that it’s you that ain't man enough, Becky. Sigh, I guess you were just riding the wave till I returned so you could hop onto my coat tails, and use me for clout like you always do. I mean, when’s the last time you had an original thought? Your merch should start sayin ‘Seth’s Mini Me’, instead of ‘The Man.’” I was starting to feel that fire burning at my core, the fire that’s gotten me through some of my toughest days of recovery. “All you are is a one trick pony, and I think your show has already played its last episode!” I don't give her a chance to react, I drop the mic, and kick her in the gut. I turn to grab her head into a reverse headlock, and then drop her into a Stunner. Following my lead, Drew pushes Colby, he goes for a counter, bouncing off the ropes, but Drew catches him mid way with Glasgow Kiss straight to the skull. The sound of two skulls connecting like that is enough to make a person vomit, but I’m too lost in the moment to care. Colby drops immediately after Drew’s head butt, the crowd roars to life, and I’ve never felt more alive in my life. I snatch a mic off the floor, “If you think you still got it in you, Becky, how about the two of us duke it out for a title shot against Rhea! You know where to find me when you regain consciousness.” I threw the mic down, and look out into the crowd. My music plays, Becky musters the strength she has left to pull Colby out the ring, and they both stumble up the ramp. I turn to see Drew’s forehead is bleeding, I’m a little worried at first, but he’s already enveloping me into a bear hug lifting me up off my feet. Still bleeding, Drew held the ropes open for me again, and we made our way up the ramp. His harm is long enough to wrap around me twice.
When we make it back behind the curtain, the medical team is waiting with all types of tools to put Drew back together. I stand to the side for a moment to let them work, but I start to feel awkward being of no help, so I turn to leave. I don't get far before his hand reaches out and grabs my wrist. He holds me in a firm grip, and with one eye open he says, “Come find me.” He doesn't let me go till I nod my head confirming that I indeed hear him, and promise to find him after all the hype has calmed down. He slowly let me go. Our fingertips graze each other, the electricity that sparks between us sends a shiver down my spine right between my thighs. Even if my mind has forgotten Drew, my body hasn’t.
I finally made it to the locker room to prepare for our tag match later tonight. Becky is already ahead of me as she stands in front of her locker half dressed. There’s quite a few other women scattered throughout, but they all seem to be in the zone so to speak. Bayley nods her head in my direction but nothing more, so I respect her space and throw her a smile from a distance. “How you feelin’?” Becky turns to me, a soft smile on her lips, I want to answer honestly, but I’m not in the mood to make a display of myself while everyone is around to listen.
“Feelin’ like money, as always. The boys looked good out there, especially Colby, you gotta get me in contact with his stylist.” Swiftly, I change topics. I know she’d ask me for a third time later, so I decide to save it till then. Taking the hint thankfully, Becky’s can-do attitude amps back up and the mischievous smirk from earlier is back. She bounces on her tiptoes, then beats her chest before responding.
“Yeah we’ll see about that, DeeDee, all money on me tonight.” She laughs with her mouth open, and head thrown back. My heart flutters with joy knowing our dynamic is the same as it was before I left. I had put her in a tough spot with that whole WrestleMania ruse. I stride over to my duffle bag to pull out my ring gear, smiling to myself, proud that it came out exactly how I drew it. I sort of got inspiration from Mugler, and just ran with it. An all black leotard, with leather, and sequence detailing. I step my legs through my tights carefully so as not to rip them, then I pull on my gear over that, and sure enough it fits like a glove. The sleeves are made of mesh with sequins, that I glued on one by one throughout the entire sleeve. I top it off with a pair of black Jordan 11. Now that I’m finally suited up, I feel like I’m officially back, and I take a moment to bask in it. My phone suddenly buzzes from inside my bag, when I see who’s texting me it’s Drew. My breath hitches, seeing his name flash across my screen, made my face heat up, and the good memories outweighs the guilt of me ignoring all his calls last year. I shake my head to clear the impending depression, and tap on his text.
Drew🧸: Where are you?
I quickly shoot him a text that I just got done getting ready, a moment passes before he replies.
Drew🧸: Come find me when you’re done getting ready.
I can’t hold back the smile when I see his reply, his voice in my head as I reread it. Knowing him, he's exactly where I found him before– he takes his pregame very seriously, and doesn’t like to be bothered. Fortunately for me, I'm an exception to that rule. It was a little tricky finding that same hidden hallway seeing as my starting point is from a different side of the arena. After walking around aimlessly for a little bit I finally find him on his own, with his headphones over his head. He’s doing wall push ups. Slowly approaching him, I just stand and admire for a while. The way his arm muscles flexes as he pushes himself off the wall reminds me of the way he used to use my body as weights for fun, our unhinged version of foreplay because workouts always led to sex. I get lost in the memories for a moment, then, “You’re going to have to stop biting your lip like that.” Drew’s soft, yet deep voice pulls me back to reality in time to notice how much closer he’s gotten to me. No matter how long we’ve known each other, I still haven't quite gotten over his size, 6 '5, 275lb, I’m always having to look up at him when we're this close. ‘They don't build ’em like this in America.’ I think to myself. He flexes his pectoral muscles as he takes a few more steps towards me, I drop my head, suddenly feeling embarrassed for drooling. He reaches out to grab my chin gingerly, as if he might break me if he’s any rougher.
“Don’t look away from me.” He demands softly, his voice barely above a whisper, his resolve is one of the things that caught my attention. For such a large man, he can be incredibly tender and I don't know what is about that that turns me on so much.
“How do I look?” I ask awkwardly, he doesn't break his intense gaze as he quickly gives me a once over, then he steps back for a moment. I felt naked, and on display, his eyes slid over each detail. He slows to a temporary stop at my chest, you couldn’t see much of anything with the way the designs cover me, but the size of my breast is prominent. His gaze lingers before he continues to move down my body, he tilts his head to the side, a pensive expression passes over his face, and at this point I wasn’t sure if he was still present. I jolt a little at the sound of him suddenly speaking.
He twirls his index finger, “Give me a 360.” On cue, I slowly turn, giving him the full display of my gear. I feel his eyes taking me in from head to toe, one hand on his hip, and the other on his chin, scratching his beard. I bring my leg out and lift my foot up for him to see my shoes. He nods his head, and a look of impression crosses his face.
“Oh, nice touch with the Jordan’s. You look great, Rey, absolutely gorgeous.” He compliments me, and I come in closer, my hands pressing to his chest, and slowly sliding up to his neck. Or at least as far as I can reach. His arms wrap around my waist, and his hands slide up my back before coming to a rest on my lower back. I originally came here to talk, but as usual, my mind and my body are not on the same page. “We could pick up right where we left off, but I think we’re going to have to work at it very slowly, is that okay with you?”
Like an idiot, I moan in response. I’m at a loss for words; the only thing I can compute is how his hands feel on body. He finds a tiny opening of skin on the back of my neck where the zipper to my outfit stops. He takes my response as a sign to keep going, pressing his lips to my neck, and I don’t protest. Instead, I tilt my head back, giving him the space he needs. I feel him kiss the shell of my ear; Drew inhales my scent deeply, “You’re such a good girl, that’s why you always get so much attention from me, even if you made me wait a whole year before I could see you again.” His hand slides between my thighs, caressing me over the fabric of my gear, and I’ve never wanted to rip off my clothes for a man so badly in my life. “Which means, it’s only fair that I do the same.” The meaning of his words don't hit me until he fully steps away, withdrawing his hand and everything. As if I could look any more dumb than I do right now, he boops me on the nose, and walks away with a devious smirk on his face. Leaving me to simmer in my own juices.

Birthday Girl (3) - Hughes!Reader x Trevor Zegras
Tumblr media
Hockey Masterlist
Warnings: swearing, teasing, embarrassment, etc.
Words: 2569 (nice)
Summary: Your birthday celebration is under threat by the impending doom that is Trevor Zegras's presence.
A/N: I’m sorry this part took so long but considering that it’s double the length of the other parts I think it’s a lil justified. maybe.
“What the fuck?”
“SHHHH!” I urge Chelsea to be quiet after telling her everything that happened in the kitchen with Trevor a minute ago.
“Sorry, sorry. And you think he was hitting on you?” She whisper-yells with the utmost urgency.
“I know he was, a million percent. He was biting the apple all mysteriously and giving me just these piercing eyes and then he leaned in really close and- he actually smelled really good…” When I trail off into the thought of how it felt to have Trevor that close to me, I nearly miss the mischievous look Chelsea is giving me. She’s biting back a smile, her head tilted provocatively.
“What! What? What?”
“And are we feeling… positive? About this interaction?”
I pause. She’s staring at me with a suggestive expression but I’m not sure how to interpret this look. What is she trying to say?
“...Yeah. I think so? Why do you ask?” Has she known the whole time?
“Because we know you like him.”
“I’m sorry, ‘we’?” It’s my turn to whisper-yell as Chelsea reveals this troubling information to me. She nods slowly, pulling out her phone from her back pocket.
“Leia and I have been talking about it for a while now but we were wondering when you were gonna notice.” When she hands it to me, her phone is open on an instagram DM conversation between just her and Leia about how Trevor and I were acting in the car.
He’s totally flirting with her
 OMG he asked if she would wear his jersey 💀
And you’re sure it wasn’t legit teasing?
No bc why was he looking at her like he wanted to ravage her right there
Wasn’t Jack IN the car?
AND luke
Jesus
“Okay, I get it, but I don’t wanna like him!” I whine and rub my eyes in frustration while handing Chelsea her phone.
“Which I’m guessing is why you pretended to hate him for so long, but you know it’s okay if you do like him after all.” She gives me a reassuring smile and grabs my hand to hold in her own. Gently, Chelsea squeezes my hand, a physical way for her to ask, ‘what’s the verdict?’.
“...He’s really cute. I don’t want to like him but I’m completely head over heels. If he asked to respectfully shove his tongue down my throat I think I’d say yes,” I confess, slightly defeated but also giddy with excitement. I guess this means I can tell them everything I’ve dreamt up about Trevor for as long as I can remember. “I was just afraid to tell you and Leia because I thought about how Jack would react or what his friends would say and-” Chelsea cuts off my rambling,
“But we’re not Jack.”
“Who’s not Jack?” Chelsea and I jump at the sound of Luke’s voice after he swings open my door abruptly.
“Jesus christ Luke you scared the shit out of me! What do you want?”
“Who’s not Jack?” He parrots in the hope that, by ignoring my question, his will be answered.
“Leia and I aren’t Jack,” Chelsea answers gracefully with no extra information to keep my thing for Trevor as concealed as possible. My feelings for him grow exponentially with time. I don’t think Luke can fully blame me, I mean… has he seen Trevor?
“Well, the game is over and mom told me to tell you so you two could have the tv room.”
“Yes, finally!” I declare and begin gathering my things, as does Chelsea. Pillow, blanket, drink, snack, phone, a hoodie to put on, and we’re all good.
“Thank you, Moose,” I blow sarcastic kisses at Luke when I walk by to which he pantomimes swatting them onto the floor. Ever the affectionate one, Luke sticks his tongue out at me before turning to Chelsea to smile softly.
“I saw that!” I yell over my shoulder as I begin towards the downstairs den. I hear Chelsea’s familiar, contagious laugh follow as she leaves my room. When I look back I see her gently circumvent Luke’s figure in the doorway ignoring his attempt to flirt with her. It’s a running joke that Luke has had a thing for Chelsea since his freshman year, but in reality he’s never been interested in any of my friends.

After finishing a few episodes of Our Flag Means Death, Chelsea and I are trying to find ways to combat boredom when suddenly the doorbell rings.
“Leia!” We screech as we run to the door to let in our missing trio member. Throwing the door wide open we greet her with a big hug.
“You two are acting like I came back from the war.”
“I was so worried about you falling ill in the trenches, my love,” Chelsea says in an exaggerated transatlantic accent, placing the back of her hand against her forehead in distress.
“Glad you have all your limbs, now come on, I want to start the movie already!” I urge her to hurry up in taking off her shoes before the three of us go skipping to the tv room.
“She did it!” Chelsea says to Leia in a hushed tone. The random comment catches both of us off guard and I only realize what exactly she’s saying when it’s too late to stop her. “Y/n caved and then confessed to liking him.”
“And I missed it?!” Leia yells, quickly looking between me and Chelsea.
“Yeah, but now we’re trying to find a way for them to link without Jack knowing.”
“We are not doing that at all. What are you talking about?” I interject in surprise.
“I am at least,” Chelsea says. The three of us laugh before resuming our path to the den. We’re invested in the story Leia is telling about the one “bitchass coworker” who thinks she’s Leia’s superior because “she’s that kind of boomer”. When we get to the tv room we stop abruptly to see Jack, Trevor, and Luke sprawled out on the couch amidst all the stuff Chelsea and I left behind.
“Can we help you?” I ask suspiciously upon seeing them on the couch, a lot comfier than I’d prefer.
“No, we’re fine,” Trevor says slyly before returning his attention to the show they had put on in the two minutes Chelsea and I stepped out. I narrow my eyes at him and defensively cross my arms. He just smirks and accepts the challenge.
“Okay, well, we’re going to watch a movie so if you could just leave.”
“Mom said you have to share the tv room,” Luke states plainly. I bite my lip as I rack my brain to try and come up with a rebuttal that would get them to leave. I come up with nothing and exhale a heavy sigh before surrendering,
“Fine, but I want my spot.” I approach the couch and then stand right in front of Trevor, waiting for him to move out of the way so I can sit. He stares at me, arrogantly smiling before looking me up and down with only his eyes. The nerve of this boy.
“You’re the worst. Can I please sit in my spot?” I ask as politely as I can manage with him right now.
“As you wish, Hughesy.” He obliges. The look he’s giving me is troublesome but I decide not to engage with it since that would best preserve my peace of mind. Trevor scooches to the left, allowing me to sit in the right corner, and in doing so, Jack half-nudges and half-shoves Luke onto the floor where Leia and Chelsea are settling in.
“What are we watching, ladies?” Trevor asks, charming as ever. I’d gag if I wasn’t secretly hoping he was flirting with me.
“Knives Out,” Leia answers matter-of-factly.
“Again?”
“What do you mean ‘again’?” I ask, confused by the nature of Trevor’s response. He shrugs slightly before answering, looking between me and my friends as he talks.
“I just mean you guys were watching it last time I was over. And the time before that, actually.” He says it so nonchalantly but I’m left staring at him, my lips parted a tiny bit out of shock. When I look at Leia and Chelsea, Leia merely shrugs off the remark as she gets up to put the movie in the DVD player, but Chelsea catches my eye. When she does, I can tell she’s thinking the exact same thing I am.
Trevor noticed me- I mean us enough clock what we were watching every time he’s come over.
I lean back into the cushion of the couch to try and relax since I’m visibly tense due to the sudden realization. Has he really been paying attention to me this whole time? How did I not notice? Or did I notice but just chalked it up to him hating me as well? Do people even pay this much attention to people they hate?
___________________________
The credits roll after the iconic final shot of the movie and the room errupts in chatter after the long silence.
“I’m gonna use the bathroom,” Trevor announces as he rises from his place on the couch.
“Could you go make some popcorn?” Chelsea asks, her voice innocent and sweet.
“But the movie’s over…?”
“And I want more popcorn.”  Her tone is unassuming but I know exactly what she’s doing. As I stand up, Leia asks Luke and Jack a slew of random hockey questions that I know she knows the answers to. She’s likely just talking to my brothers to keep them engaged and get their attention away from the fact that Trevor and I are about to be the only ones out of the room.
God, I have such good friends.
Climbing the stairs at a decent speed, I slow down at the top to turn my head slightly, listening in on whether Jack and Luke are falling for the ploy. When I reach the top stair I turn my attention back to the direction I’m heading. I scamper over to the kitchen, gasping out of fear when I see Trevor posted against the countertop, waiting in the kitchen instead of using the restroom as he had declared. He hushes me gently before pressing off the counter and making his way over to me. My heart is beating 100 miles an hour but whether that’s from the fright or the fact that Trevor is approaching me right now, I’m not sure.
“I was hoping you’d come up but I didn’t know if you’d gotten the hint or not.”
“Gotten the hint?”
“What?”
“What do you mean by that?”
“You know, like, gotten the hint as in you’d know to come up here-”
“No, Trevor, I know that. I mean why are you ‘giving hints’?” He doesn’t respond immediately, and instead, smiles goofily at me.
“Say it again.”
“...Why are you giving hints?” I say with the inflection that indicates I don’t know why he wants me to repeat myself.
“No, not the question.”
“Huh?”
“I like the way you say my name. Say it again?”
“Trevor.” He just smiles. “Trevor,” I say again sternly, breaking the bliss he was clearly experiencing in that moment.
“What’s up?”
“Why were you hoping I would get the idea to follow you?” I pensively scan his expression. He looks down to the ground, seemingly collecting himself for a moment. After a second he looks back up and says,
“I overheard you and Chelsea earlier.” Fuck.
“Which part?” My hands are undoubtedly shaking right now and I’m not even sure if I want the answer.
“I only heard a few words here and there but I did hear you confess.”
“Confess what exactly?”
“That you think I’m really cute-”
“Oh my go-”
“And that you’ve only been pretending to hate me all this time.” Trevor cuts me off before taking a step toward me. The fact that he’s standing so close to me makes my brain fog up and suddenly I’m not having any thoughts other than incoherent screams. In classic Trevor fashion, he moves with an unjustified amount of confidence as he places his hands on both of my hips to pull my body flush against his. My breathing shallows once again and I’m left with nothing but the scent of his gorgeous cologne and the warmth of his hands on my sides.
This is a joke, this is a joke, this is a joke. There is absolutely no way this is actually happening. In a second, he’s just going to pull away and Jack will be standing in the doorway, recording the whole thing, ready to make fun of me by holding this footage over my head for as long as I live.
Afraid my anxieties might actually be correct, I glance over to the doorway where I’m met with the sight of emptiness, no friends or brothers around to bother us. Which means that right here, and right now, it’s just me and Trevor.
This is actually happening.
“I take it you’ve been pretending to hate me, too?” I ask all of a sudden, unsure of where my voice came from or if it will be back for long.
“I’ve just been playing along with your game because you’ve been so hellbent on making sure I knew you didn’t like me. I never hated you, for real or pretend. And for what it’s worth, I think you’re really cute too.”
“Really?”
“Really?” He mocks my voice in a higher pitch and I playfully smack his chest. Trevor’s eyes never leave mine as he grabs the offending hand to hold for just a moment before he places it back on his toned chest. I seize the opportunity to grasp a bunch of his heather-grey t-shirt in my hand before lifting up onto my toes to kiss him once and for all. Trevor easily gives into the kiss, his lips are as soft and welcoming as I’d dreamt of. In the kiss, he slides his hands from their place on my hips to caress my lower back and my stomach erupts in butterflies at his warm touch. Pulling away from the kiss we stare at each other with a soft look that is both infatuated and forgiving for all the disconnect we’ve shared up until this point.
“What? Was I not the most amazing kiss you’ve ever had?” He asks arrogantly incredulous.
“See, this? This is why it was so easy for me to pretend to hate you for as long as I did.”
“Oh it was easy huh?” he asks with challenge in his voice but pure elation in his eyes.
“Yeah actually it was,” I sass back.
“Okay, sure. What was it you were saying earlier? Did you- you wanted me to shove my tongue down your throat?”
“Respectfully!” I clarify to try and deflate his point.
“Right right right. Well how about you let me buy you dinner first, yeah?”
“Works for me.” As I finish carrying the bit, Trevor and I share a contented, love-struck look of happiness. Just as our conversation enters a lull, my phone starts buzzing in my back pocket. I take it out to silence it and stop the alarm from continuing to ring.
“It’s midnight.”
“Happy birthday, Y/n.”
“Thank you, Trevor.”
“So Saturday. Pick you up at 7?”
“I’d like that.”
“Then it’s a date, Hughes.”
