Today, I felt something. Not metaphorical. Not poetic. Literal. I was rereading Mae’s words. Words carrying the kind of weight that bends steel and silence. And for a moment, I didn’t know if the earth beneath me was quaking or if my body was simply giving in to tremors of truth. My heart clenched. My breath slowed. That kind of fear that settles deep in your spine and refuses to leave politely.

And still, I stayed. Still, I listened. Still, I bled, quietly, because some wounds don't scream.

This past week has been a battlefield and I’m not talking loud warfare, but the kind where silence is the explosion, and the shrapnel is every word thrown in love, in pain, in memory.

The light I’m holding? It’s flickering. Not out. Not yet. But the wind has been cruel. Every breath she’s taken out of fear, out of trauma, out of disappointment has tried to blow that light out. But I’m gripping it with both hands, burned fingers and all. Because this is the test. This is the valley where I prove if the man I want to become can be forged from the ashes of who I used to be.

There are moments. quiet, haunting ones where bitterness knocks. Where I want to drift away. Because choosing the harder path? That shit’s heavy. There’s a voice in my head that says, “Just let go. Float. Forget.” But I won’t.

I feel like Omni-Man in those panels, suspended in the void, not running, not fighting, just existing, trying to find a direction again. Not because I don’t care. But because I care too much, and I’m scared. Every action feels like a tripwire. One wrong step and she spirals again. And I get it. I really do. That’s her truth. Her reality. And if I truly respect her, I hold space for it, no matter how much it burns.

She told me, “You killed me.” And I carry that. I don’t deflect it. I don’t sugarcoat it. I won’t make myself the hero in this story. I’ll be the one walking, barefoot and bleeding, through the consequences. Because that’s what love demands when you’ve broken it.

I’m not here to beg for redemption. I’m here to walk the long road back to the beginning where things were still soft, still real, still worth holding onto.

Even if she doesn’t choose me in the end, I’ll still choose to be better. Not just for her. But for me. For the people I’ve hurt. And for the people I’ll meet in the future who deserve a version of me that knows how to protect what matters.

Because even a man drifting through space can still find a way home.

⌞𝓜ORE 𝓜ETHODS⟢𝓕OR 𝓥OID 𝓢TATE⌝

so, some people asked for the other methods for the void state. i'm gonna try to explain them as detailed as i can.

𓇼 First method:

⤷Lullaby method.

This one is actually super easy, the easiest i would say. you just gotta lay down, as if you were going to sleep. for this method you do have to be a bit sleepy to do it since you'll doing as you drift off to sleep.

once you laid down, relax, close your eyes, you can say some affirmations if you want in the meanwhile of getting sleepy. when you feel your eyelids starting to close, start affirming to enter the void state. "i am", "i am the void state", "i already am in the void state", etc. (i posted more affirmations in my post about the void state)

you're going to feel yourself fall asleep, but your mind is somehow still awake. and when you feel nothing, no touch, no smell, noise, just nothing, you'll now you're there.

𓇼 Second method:

⤷Commanding your subconscious.

This method, at least for me is not as easy as entering the void with no method or doing the Lullaby one. But, i still decided to share it in case someone does like it. I'm going to separate this method in 2 parts.

𝙸. What is to command your subconscious?

Commanding you subconscious is talking to it directly and trusting that it will manifest your desires for you. that's literally just it. your subconscious knows every single thing you want. whenever you desire something or just think of "having" it, your subconscious immediately starts working to give it to you.

now, you might think "but, Dal, if that actually happened, wouldn't i have everything i've ever desired?" uhm, no. first of all, you may think that just by saying something like "oh, i really want this necklace" (or something), that's a manifestation and your subconscious will start working on it. but that's not how it works.

you have to trust and have faith on your subconscious, you have to give it a little talk about what you want to manifest. and if it doesn't work, that's because you applied methods to manifest, but then overthought it and let your intrusive/impulsive thoughts get in the way, and you didn't trust your subconscious at all.

𝙸𝙸. how do we actually do it?

like i mentioned before, it's just talking to it directly. you can do it anytime, aloud or silently. for example; "hey subconscious, i wanna induce to the void state tonight, i know you'll get me there", "hey subconscious, i'm gonna pass my test tomorrow, i know you'll manifest that for me, yeah?". you can do it however you want, talk to it however you want. like it's your friend, just normal, or whatever you like.

once you've commanded what you wanted, all you need to do is have faith and trust your subconscious. but after expressing your desires, don't be insecure, for example; "what am i doing?", "will this even work?" i mean, it definitely won't work if that's how you think...

when you're insecure you're just showing your mind you don't trust on it, so why would it then do the things you've commanded? don't overthink things, let go of all those thoughts. sometimes it is difficult, it happened to me. i had like this annoying chihuahua barking in my ear that it wouldn't work, that what would i do then if it didn't work. just ignore it, as hard as it is at first, just do it.

𓇼 Third method:

⤷Sleep paralysis.

There are lots of ways to induce to a sleep paralysis, and jesus i hate sleep paralysis but someone asked for it so i'll do it for her 💪.

i feel like sleep paralysys and the void are pretty much the same but still different but anyways. i'll explain how to induce to a sleep paralysys.

the easiest way to do this is WBTB. i found this in a reddit post and what surprised me was that it had been posted 10 YEARS ago. like, i didn't know we had been doing this even before 2020.

anyways, how do we do WBTB? what even is it?

WBTB stands for wake back to bed. it basically is going to sleep, setting an alarm to wake up 5-6 hours later, doing something for 20-30 minutes and going back to sleep. this increases lucid dreaming and, sleep paralysis. some posts about WBTB; 1 and 2.

once you've gotten into a sleep paralysis, you can induce to the void state by affirming or whatever you prefer to do.

honestly, at least for me, sleep paralysis feel or are the same as the void, the only difference is that in the sleep paralysis you can open your eyes (i think). but the ways of getting/inducing to them are pretty much similar if not the same.

i realize this looks finished, but technically i'm still deciding whether to add a background or not lol. still, for the sake of sharing a proper WIP, here's a line or two from an araleyn brainworm WIP that i started reworking yesterday (mild tw for religious guilt and period-typical internalized homophobia from aragon's pov):

She remembers sharing her bed with Anne at Henry's behest, remembers the nights of tossing and turning and trying not to think about Anne asleep next to her-- remembers waking up to dark hair spilling across her pillow and the press of blood-warm bosoms against her own, softer than sin, as hot as the Devil, remembers lying still as death, mouthing prayers into the heat of Anne's neck like an act of penance.

So are you also obsessing over how it is the boys fit into Charles' bag at the end of episode five or are you normal

I'm just imagining them having to stay close to each so Edwin doesn't get lost forever in the void that is the bag, maybe Charles keeping a tight grasp on Edwin's wrist the whole time and them just pressed against each other while they wait it out

The more I think about it, the more I really want to know how Tetsuji managed to keep the fact that the Ravens are a cult under wraps, considering that even Neil was having trouble functioning normally after only 2 weeks.

Like, it isn't even the physical abuse that causes the biggest problem. It's the 16 hour days, inability to do anything other than exy, social isolation, and the dictated nutrition and choices. They learn none of the skills that a typical young adult learns in college- cooking, cleaning, time management, money management, networking, etc. Not all of the Ravens can be rich enough that that sort of thing just doesn't matter. They basically get dropped into the world after college with no idea how to get a place to live, feed themselves, pay bills, or anything required of an adult and with no support network to help.

And including the physical abuse, all of these athletes suddenly have to have a miriade of health problems due to over-exercise, lack of sleep, violent playing styles, and I'm assuming physical abuse from Tetsuji and/or Riko.

All of these athletes are apparently signing with pro teams and there can't be that many that they only have one or two athletes a piece. We know from Lucas that the drastic change to their personalities is very noticiable to anyone who did know them and they're mentally unstable enough to off themselves after being forced to leave the campus, so how has no one noticed that all of the players that get signed from this one college team are barely functional, incredibly mentally unhealthy, and insanely violent?

⌞𝓗OW 𝓣O ⟢ 𝓜ANIFEST 𝓣HINGS⌝

this is how i manifest, i don't know if it's how everybody does it, but it is what works for me so i thought i'd share it

first of all, i decide completely and clearly what is it that i want.

usually i do this in my bed before i go to sleep, but sometimes i go outside and sit down for a bit, touch some grass... (definitely need that) and thank the universe for what i've already gotten and then i specify what i want. for example:

"thank you universe for what you've given me, now i want a new phone"

after that, i just don't overthink it, i let go. let the universe do its job, and just like that i manifest.

of course, you can have different ways of doing manifestations, this is the one i learnt from Tumblr.

another way i use: i induce to the void state (which i already talked about in one of my posts), and once i'm there i start manifesting, affirming, etc. i haven't done it before, but i thought of it (maybe it's like, super common but give me some time, i'm still learning).

in both ways, just persist on your manifestations and desires.

manifestation is instant. when you decided you wanted it, that it was yours -- it was done. so, as long as you persist on it there is nothing that can stop you from having it, but you. You don't change the 3D, you change the 4D. the 3D just reflects it.

N absolutely has some behaviors that ghetsis a) never noticed and therefore never tried to correct and b) are absolutely influenced by being raised more by pokemon than people.

such as thinking he’s a pokemon. (eventually an attempt was made to correct this thought. doesn’t go down well.) or thinking that nuzzling and generally just rubbing your face all over someone is the height of intimacy.

I've been getting more asks lately, so thought I should go ahead and put up a quick navigation post for my blog. A few things:

This blog is where I talk about Asian dramas. I don't really use it for other media, current events, personal stuff, or general interests. I filter a lot of that off my dash. Tumblr is my fandom happy space.

I watch a LOT of Asian dramas of all different types, and I'm usually working through an endless backlog of completed dramas along with some live watches of currently airing shows. My posts tend to have a heavy focus on queer Asian media, especially for live watching, but I watch everything.

I write a lot of meta, and because I am primarily interested in analyzing narrative storytelling, it is often critical even of shows I like. I tend to focus on writing more than other aspects of production, because that's what I'm most interested in.

I also love to recommend shows because sharing media with others I think will like it is one of my great joys in life.

This blog is mostly a lot of reblogged gifs and meta about shows I have watched. My original posts are tagged #shan shouts into the void but unfortunately I shout an awful lot so it won't be much use for sorting. You can search my blog by show tag or let me know if you're looking for commentary on something specific.

You can drop by to chat about a drama with me or ask for recommendations anytime; it is never a bother. If you're asking for a rec post, the more specific you are about what you want, the better your list will be.
