Launtel NBN Follow Up Post #1
So!
The Relos were quite impressed with the ease of use of the Apple Shortcut solution for pausing and unpausing the Launtel Service and loved the accessibility of having it be able to be actioned from the Home Screen - Excellent! Box ticked!
However, there was one request RE: this that I wasn't quite expecting, being, is there a way to tell whether or not the service is paused without having to:
Log in to the Launtel Portal
Be on-site to physically check if the connection works
Ok, seems like a fair ask. Let's take a crack using a new Shortcut.
Firstly, we'll need the same "Get Contents of URL" arrangement that was used for the Pause and Unpause shortcuts (username, password, POST, Form, etc)
Set a variable. I just set mine to "WebContent" and set the variable to be "Contents of URL"
Get Text. Get text from the "WebContent" variable
If statement:
If "Text" contains "Active - Router online" then show notification "The Launtel Service is Active"
Otherwise, show notification "The Launtel service is not active"
I tested this while the service was active and it worked, so I'll take the win! I'll do some further testing when the service is not active and edit the post with the results of that testing.
