anyway letting kids explore their identity is so sooo important and affects so much of their lives. kids deserve a safe space to figure themselves out, try new labels, new pronouns, a new sense of style or new hobby ot anything without being ridiculed or mocked or excluded, especially if that thing is ‘cringey’. everyone experiments with their identity especially as a teenager.

and we need to teach kids it’s ok if the road to figuring yourself out has some twists and turns!!! mogai isn’t a bad thing!!! having so many options isn’t a bad thing!!! if anything it’s a good thing because it allows some people to find out who they are a lot faster.

and if identifying with a mogai identity prevented someone from finding their true identity, that’s ok too!!! that was just a speed bump, and it’s possible to get over it. it was bound to happen eventually, hardly anyone finds a label that describes them and sticks to it the rest of their lives. the path of self discovery is just as important as the destination!!!!

In a world that so rudely tells y'all that using neopronouns is "weird" or "stupid" or "looking for attention," you continue to use them loudly and proudly anyway, and I think that's awesome!! Just a wee reminder that the first recording of neopronouns was 1789, one of the oldest noted examples of neopronouns were 'thon'! And also remember the key word 'recorded' so that means neopronouns could've existed even WAY before that

Self-affirmation

Neopronouns are still pretty stigmatized in a lot of spaces, so I decided to make this post for my own comfort.

Hello, I'm Ink. I use the standard pronouns they/them. I also use neopronouns such as xe/xem, ve/ver, and ze/hir.

Paragraph 1: Xe/Xem

Xe is a short person that's four feet and eleven inches tall. A handful of xyr relatives seem to take issue with this; however, xe actually likes being short. Xe always thought to xemself that most people are getting worried for no reason. There's nothing wrong about being small. Xe gets confused every time someone acts like xyr height bothers xem.

Paragraph 2: Ve/Ver

Either way, ve decided not to pay them much mind. It's silly to get pre-occupied about their thoughts and try to please them when ve can make verself happy instead. Vis body image is fine as it is. Ve doesn't exist to fit other's standards of beauty. Vis body is vers after all.

Paragraph 3: Ze/Hir

Ze wishes that other people view themselves similarly. It's just tragic to hir that they are too busy going by the judgements of the crowd. Although, frankly, this is a rare moment of hirs. Ze doesn't really think about others most of the time. Ze is often too busy thinking about hir inner world by hirself.
