I think I just found my new hyperfixiation (thanks matpat btw /pos)

I still need to watch the rest of part 3 of MatPat's Gameplay and the theory that was made for this game, and I'm planning to play it as the first livestream I'm doing, but lemme tell you I am IN LOVE with everything about this game.

I love the aesthetics, the gameplay, the lore, the horror elements (I especially love how it's not just a bunch of cheap screamers and jump scares lol), and initially when I saw some of the concepts and assets for the game (particularly the font and the main cast) it kinda reminded me of Scott Cawthon's works (love his stuff btw), and I also love how it's partially based off of games from the Nintendo 64 so that it can give some of the younger folk like me a chance to sort of experience since we never got to have the real thing as a child lol

I am especially in love with the character designs, both in the actual game and in the real-life clips that play during the second version of the game (the version with al the jump scares and shit), the real life clips remind me of those FNAF VHS tapes that were popular a while back, and just in general I feel like the creators have taken inspo from FNAF in some way, while still making their own original story and universe as a whole.

Actually now that I think of it, the way the cast is set up heavily reminds me of the first 5 characters from the FNAF Franchise, with the following taking the following roles:

Bucky Beaver - Freddy Fazbear

Walter Walrus (aka Walter White /j) - Bonnie

Olive Otter - Chica

Giovanni Goose - Foxy

Stumbler O'Hare - Golden Freddy

Chief Wulf - William Afton (except without the murdering children part)

Of course, I don't believe that SW64 has anything to do with fnaf but I do feel like it's a really nice touch lol, especially for those who like mascot horror (despite the game being an ARG lol)

Overall, 9.5/10 (still have to review it based on m experience so that's why it's deducted half a point)

BTW, speaking of streaming, I'm hoping I can get to doing it sometime in June (cause that's when I personally expect for my little room redecoration project to be done lol), so hope to see you then! :3

Steam, as much as I understand how funding can help the creators further improve the game, sometimes it's better to just place a donation button somewhere, or have the creators have a feature that would allow donations in-game ffs.

Oh well, I think I saw some steam gift cards at the Family Dollar near my house, might go buy one if I got any spare money after my project

The City of Progress, although not known for its cold environment, feels chilly. Habi was simply used to the dry heat from the desert, anything that would be considered a temperate area invites her to put on a few extra layers of cloth. Is this dramatic? Possibly yes, possibly no, for an outsider.

Whatever the matter, the Shuriman was not here to complain about the weather. Pompous streets, signs and streetlamps coated in golden metal, bragging with wealth, distract her eyes from the task at hand. She feels admiration for any innovation, any new knick-knack the girl discovers while walking past crowds.

And there was something that stuck with her. What an interesting gauntlet this young man was wearing! Curious. Would it be bold to get a closer look? The golden engravings, the jewel in the center of its backside, seem to be from her home region. Excitedly, the sentinel makes her way past some Piltovans who were busy talking with the blonde already. ❝ Excuse me? ❞ Habi slips right through them in the most polite manner she could figure out.

❝ What a nice gauntlet you have there, sir. That would not be a shuriman piece of armor you're wearing, by any chance? ❞ Rosy locks fall over raised shoulders as her head tilts, a smile accompanying her interest in the subject. How come the former scout spots something from her region here, out of all places? How intriguing.

i like to imagine that zaihala is an avid stonemason and mosaicist .. i think she is enraptured by the idea of taking something so resilient in nature and molding it under the guide of mallet and chisel . she's a humanist intrigued by the natural world, by geology.. by the incredible craftsmanship that goes into such a trade .

if she were to be dropped into some random city with the freedom of both time and money, i think you could find her in the market , sourcing materials or tesserae she couldnt otherwise acquire at her local workshop. . glass, shells, ceramics etc from vendors or acquainting herself with quarry tradesmen in order 2 procure the stone that best fits her vision.its an obsession..u literally have to pull her away or she'll be there all day

as for her FAVORITE MEMORY!!! omg.. i keep picturing her as this fresh face in baldurs gate, having just moved there on her own , sworn to independence but feeling like maybee she made a mistake. . maybe she was too impulsive, chasing her desire to pursue stonework on a whim, not having thought abt the consequences or the finances or what have u .. but she takes the chance to meet up with some local artists on an outing just outside the city .and its just sooo .. reaffirming to her in that moment. to be surrounded by people who are drunk on wine & laughter and to see the sprawling city just before her as the sun is setting..and the wind is warm..gentle...and it leaves her feeling so content..like a feeling of peace that swells up within her and lets her know tht she made the right choice. that it will be OKAYYU!!!!!!!!!! i think that's gotta be in one of her top ten.. perhaps.

supermassive hyperactive supernova casanova, lars taylor’s high-speed self-led whirlwind romantic tour of greater boston, with nerd pacheco in tow. the season 10 spillover gives them a free day, during which they embark on a ferris-bueller’s-day-off trip of mayhem around the city, to the mild irritation and/or amusement of the locals. they ride a horse through a parade. why is there a horse? only lars knows and they wont tell you

“I want to jump in the pool,” Lars signed.

“There’s no pool, dear.”

Lars pointed.

“That’s not a pool, that’s a part of the… atmosphere for the mini golf course. There’s a sign.”

“I’m going to jump in it.”

“It says ‘no swimming.’ On the sign. I’m fairly certain—”

Lars jumped in the pool. It was fun. The water hissed and bubbled; shoot, they hadn’t closed their eye. Hopefully there weren’t any fish getting boiled.

He kicked with immaterial flippers and broke the surface. A family of four had stopped partway through the fourth hole. The younger daughter’s ball slowly rolled down the slope. A few employees were emerging from the club rental shack.

Star looked up. The course was pirate-themed. Incredible. There was a half-sunken pirate ship just sitting there in the pool. Sure, it wasn’t a cowboy-themed mini golf course, but Lars liked that life on this funny little rock was full of little imperfections. They waved for Nerd to jump in.

“Dear, I can’t.”

It took some coaxing. Lars had climbed up to the crow’s nest by the time Nerd finally gave in. They had to fold up their glasses and take their wallet out of their pocket and do something on their phone and remove their shoes and a whole long list of other adorable preparations, but star was rewarded for stars patience by the wonderful sight of Nerd Pacheco chewing their lip and diving into the pool.

There was a waterfall that overlooked the eighteenth hole. Lars couldn’t wait to bring Nerd up there.
