I just watched the latest episode of Frida night tights on YouTube because they had a good commentary on Hollywood creating bad shows and movies. But it shocked me that nerdotic said that when episode 2 of hotd season 2 comes on air, people will complain and "pussy out" with the violence of a mere innocent child's demise. I am really disappointed that he didn't rephrase it like saying, it will be a hard scene to watch. I feel like the normal audience will be very disturbed and have a empathetic understanding towards the Greens and especially towards Heleana. It's Like Nerdotic is looking forward to that scene. In the wrong way. Thooughts?

I was listening to the episode as I was playing Total War: Atilla

Gary and Ryan are Team Black Fanboys who are big Daemon/Matt Smith simps. Shad and Mauler are more Team Green, they both love Aemond and Mauler is really into Otto.

But yeah, I wasn't too big on their blood lust for "Blood & Cheese" but I also know that they - like a lot of people - are getting annoyed with the "Blacks are good and Greens are bad" stuff, and some hardcore fans are relishing for a ASoIaF style shock to the system that makes the normies and activists realize that this isn't a clean cut narrative.

As a veteran of the fandom for nearly 14 years now, the one thing to keep in mind is not to take any of it too personally, that is just the way that a lot of old school ASoIaF fans are, we all kinda relish in the dark and fucked up stuff sometimes.

Just remember that its a show, these are fictional characters, and when people give you shit you give it right back to them. Go to battle on the keyboard with a smirk and jovial manner and remember we all like the same thing in the end and arguing over stupid shit is what bonds us as big fucking nerds.

I've been listening to Nerdotic for a yr sometimes when I'm bored but yesterday Heelvsbabyface really acted like an emotional wrecked person who lost his mind. They were discussing Gina corano who THEY didn't support at first because they were afraid of her being a girl boss lol. I feel like Heels has non specific insights on Hollywood and just rides on Nerdotic coattails. I'm waiting for Heels to be kicked off and he's very ogre looking himself when he talks about women he doesn't agree with. He's freaking annoying yelling all the time. I'm stopping the show...it's ridiculous. Thoughts?

I'd be lying if I didn't say that AZ doesn't sometimes get on my nerves and his comedy isn't always my style.

But yesterday's Real BBC I actually agree with him and what he said, and I did find his wrapping of the bubble wrap around his head funny.

I'm not sure if you're a guy or girl, Nonny. But I will say that just because someone critiques a woman or certain types of women and their opinions harshly doesn't mean that there's some sexist orge hidden within, yeah?

For instance, I've brought the hammer on Olivia Cooke and Lena Headey. And I've been extremely critical of female led projects like "Anatomy of a Scandal" "The Wilderness" and "Daisy Jones and the Six". But I've also hit just as hard at male actors like Chris Evans and that Rahul Kohili - Been much harsher on them. And I've also kicked up shit about Star Wars and Doctor Who and their ruining. And don't get me started on Spotchnik on "House of the Dragon".

I think, Nonny, you need to stop seeing everything in skin color and sex - male and female - and instead look at it through an ideological lens. A very zero tolerance policy for far left Marxist and corporates Fascist ideas that permeate Hollywood and London at the moment. It's not about gender or skin color or even sexuality, its about ideas and values. You either believe in Freedom for all or you believe in authoritarianism under the guise of virtue.

My thoughts are to train yourself to let go of the intrinsic defensiveness of either female sisterhood or white knight instinct that comes from the harsh tone that some people speak with, and digest, instead, if what AZ is saying is true or not. I believe he was spot on yesterday.

I'm not saying you have to agree with the man. But I do think that dismissing someone because of a dislike of their tone or delivery is the path away from wisdom.
