I have finally freed this blanket from the horror of the cheap 40 year old polyester dust ruffle its original owner sewed it to!! Not totally sure what I want to do with it since I worry my cats will wreck it if I actually use it on my bed. There’s time to figure it out because I still need to wash it but I wanted to see how it looked on the bed.

Also, these two things are honestly some of my favorite makes of the last year, so cuddly and so judgmental.

Regarding your orb babies au, do the orbs roam in packs or are they more solitary? Does it depend on their eventual frame type or is it personality based?

kind of obsessed w the concept of them "roaming in packs". watch out there;s a pack of Wild Embryos about REAL ANSWER: they live in the cyberninja dojo and there really aren't more than a few dozen around at a time (there can be large gaps of a few centuries to millennia between new generations and the definition of "generation" spans pretty far). they're like puppies that cant walk yet. they crawl (roll?) all over each other with little regard for personal space and as they get a bit older they start to develop their own personalities n such im not a fan of "frame type causes xyz behavior" because then you're getting into robot biological determinism which gets very weird very fast. cybertron isnt ready for nature vs nurture

Don't at ALL miss the maintenance, which is why we have the backyarden instead. (Use up that space for potted plants, rather than fit meager plants where we can).

Like the scrubbing before and after the seasons 😩, the algae, the leaves (oh god the leaves), dead things, filters, how much we spent on chemicals. All that reminds me why we DON'T have a pool anymore and why we just have a garden.

which one do you hate more, cockroaches or wasps?

i dont think ive ever encountered a cockroach in my life tbh but my path crossed with many many wasps... they do annoy me but hate? i wouldnt say i hate them. just because they inconvience me from time to time i dont hate them. they have an important role in nature by doing pest control and pollinating blossoms.
