Hello, it’s Eduardo! I just got back from a good donut spot (Glazed Over in Beacon, NY). I’m a native Upstate New York foodie with disabilities so friends bring me to great places to try great food.
Another thing I like to do is cook with my own special flare. My main apparatuses are my George Forman Grill and my crockpot.
My inspiration stems from ‘Chopped’ on the Food Network, Tipsy Bartender on Youtube, and others.
I hope you enjoy my opinions so if you disagree that’s your right.
This is Freddy Zebara, the owner of King of Falafel and Shawarma. He is Palestinian. As many of you know, Palestinians outside of Palestine are facing many challenges regarding discrimination and hate crimes.
We must be there for our Palestinian sisters and brothers no matter where they are.
If you live in New York, heck if you like to try good food, please support Freddy at his shop.
The King Bar by David Burke, Garden City Long Island, NY.
Cacio e Pepe - fettucine | guanciale | scallops | shrimp madras black pepper | parmesan broth.
We had an amazing dining experience at the King Bar.
We went to the King Bar for dinner and I could not stop talking about the food. I got the Cacio e Pepe, my boyfriend got the Wagyu Filet Mignon, we split the Hanging Bacon, Brussel Sprouts, Carrots and the amazing Maple Crème Brûlée 😉
All the food was delicious! The service was amazing, everyone was so nice and treated us like royalty! The Hanging Bacon was an experience, with them torching it right in front of you to get all the candied pieces of the bacon to melt!
The Cacio e Pepe was filled with seafood and the Parmesan broth was very light. The scallops were cooked to perfection! I loved everything about this dish. I loved everything about this meal! I would recommend eating at the King Bar even if you aren’t staying at the hotel!
Based on presentation and taste of the Cacio e Pepe I would rate this dish a 10 out of 10.

Mets bats cooled again against Padres for third straight loss
Help arrived for the Mets on Saturday, but left-handed hitter Daniel Vogelbach was in the dugout, not in the lineup.
And on another quiet night for their bats, and with a 1-9 that looked like it did months ago, the Mets looked like they needed more reinforcements.
They made a clear case for adding another right bat as they were silenced by the Padres, 2-1, ahead of 39,359 at Citi Field on a humid…
I didn't want them to go to waste so my assistant suggested to me to make bread pudding. I thought regular bread pudding would be boring so we used peaches in it.
From Ferrara's website: Ferrara’s specialty tiramisu features homemade Savoiardi (Ladyfinger cookies) that they douse with espresso & coffee liqueur and layer with sweet mascarpone. Ferrara is one of New York's most iconic shops and its first Italian Bakery, founded in 1892 in Little Italy. As America's first Pasticceria and espresso bar, it was only natural that people came primarily for the coffee, cookies and cakes, and despite the many changes in the neighborhood over the decades, their offerings are still wowing everyone who walks through the door, instantly transporting them to Southern Italy.
They have been featured on the Food Network's "Best Things I Ever Ate," The New York Times, New York Magazine and just about every media outlet imaginable.
